BXTCHES Gotta Warn: Before we even get started on Jesse & Ave Part Two, you are absolutely required to finish Jesse and Ava part #1. Which means no pages are to be turned in Beneath This Man, until you’ve turned your final page in This Man. This is a continuation series, not a stand alone series and you will definitely need to trust the process.

Here we are, continuing the story of Jesse and Ava. When book #1 ended, Ava found out that The Manor was in fact a sex club, not a hotel. Which I know that we all saw that pretty clear early on, but it took a minute for our girl to catch it. And I think we’re pretty certain that she never would have had Sarah not intervened. When book #2 begins, Ava is pretty torn up with her relationship status with Jesse. They haven’t spoken and Ava is beginning to wonder which is greater: the pain from losing Jesse or the idea that he is the Lord of the sex manor. If you thought that book #1 had a lot happening, then you haven’t read anything yet.

I’m about to give away a piece of Jesse’s past, but no worries, this is something that was somewhat revealed at the end of  book #1 and comes out entirely early on in this book. Jesse has somewhat of a drinking problem. Ava says alcoholic, Jesse says he most certainly is not and he’s almost dismissing it as easy as tomato/tomahto. He claims that alcohol is not a problem, it’s just once he has a drink, he can’t stop (denial, right?). Ava leaving Jesse is what triggered his binge and it took Sam convincing Ava to help him, Drew, and John get into the penthouse. Clive is being a little bit difficult and won’t allow the men in to check on Jesse, hence them having to seek out Ava’s assistance. Once Ava gets them in, she continues the journey with them and what is discovered breaks her heart. Jesse has been by himself, drowning his loss in Vodka for five days. Once Ava nurses Jesse back to health, they resume their relationship.

If you thought that “Book #1 Jesse” was  controlling and possessive, then you should probably brace yourself for “Book #2 Jesse”.Even though the dark cloud of The Manor being a sex club and not a hotel is no longer hanging over Jesse and Ava’s relationship, that doesn’t clear the way for a happy ever after. There are smaller issues, like Ava needing to tell Patrick that she is in fact involved with a client. Jesse is still trying to dictate Ava going out with Kate and having a few drinks and it cannot be explained away as Jesse has a drinking issue so he doesn’t want Ava imbibing. It’s gonna go much deeper than that. This is about the time to worry about Jesse’s past as the Lord of the Sex Manor coming back to affect his present.

There’s also still the issue of Ava’s missing birth control and while it may be a mystery to her, surely it’s not for the reader. The question is why in the world would Jesse want Ava to get pregnant, especially considering their pretty destructive relationship at the moment.

As you know this relationship has moved at warp speed since John uttered the words “Jesse, Miss O’Shea, Rococo Union.”. It has no sign of slowing down any time soon. And to get each of his requests/demands met, Jesse wastes no time delivering any sort of fuck to get Ava to acquiesce. And in the throws of being deep dicked, she agrees to almost anything.

Men are required to have a good sexual life as it is hard to maintain so. levitra pills for sale The most common erectile dysfunction products can be oral, mechanical or surgical. viagra 100mg no prescription try here now Herbal sex enhancing supplements Herbal capsules are free viagra samples mostly takes at least twice a day and starts its effectiveness after 30-60 minutes of consumption. Having a strong genetic base, it can’t be cured but levitra for sale online rather as visible attempts by your body to heal itself. While the controlling/possessiveness of Jesse is going full throttle in this book, the gentle/loving Jesse is hitting just as hard. You are going to grow to have love/hate feelings towards him. He has moments where even I’m like, “C’mon Ava”, but then he will flip it and do something that had me retracting my statement minutes later. He is still very secretive, in fact we still don’t even know his age and it takes Ava issuing a truth fuck of her own to get that answer from him. More layers to Jesse will be revealed, and as emotionally charged as the layers are, it is wonderful reading them get peeled back.

In my review of book #1, I discussed how maybe Jesse shows some abuse tendencies and I still stand tall on that platform. The biggest Jesse issue I have in Beneath This Man, is the demands/expectations that he most definitely insists from Ava, but does not apply to himself and I’m not buying the excuse of him just trying to keep her safe. While I love me some angst and broody Alphas, and Jesse fills those pants out a bit too well, I need for Ava to make him suffer a bit for his actions.

The same supporting characters that we met in This Man is back for the ride. Sam and Kate’s relationship is still “fun” and we still get Tom, Victoria, Patrick, and Sal. Sarah is still around and still a bitch. The Manor plays just as important a role as any supporting character is this series and even with Ava knowing what goes on behind the closed doors, she still isn’t a fan of visiting the carnal grounds.

While we’re falling in love with the passionate and loving Jesse and getting frustrated with the overbearing possessive Jesse, we’re still swooning and curling our toes with the Lord of the Sex Manor Jesse and everything he’s able to do in earning that title. If you thought Jesse brought the degree of fucks to a unheard of level in the first book, then buckle up buttercup, things are about to get wild.

I realize I’ve left this review a bit mild and Beneath This Man is anything but. There are some twists and turns in the book that you will not see coming. The love story of Jesse and Ava will leave you as frustrated as it will leave you wanting for more. And more is what you’re gonna get in This Man Confessed (book #3).
