BXTCHES Gotta Warn: This is the first book in the Torqued Trilogy and each book will feature a member of the Walker family (Red, Raven, and Rawley). Unsteady (book #1) is all about Red and Lennon, Unbearable (book#2) will is devoted to Raven and Tyler and Unbound (book #3) will wrap things up with Rawley and Sophie. I can already say with certainty that this is a series that needs to be read in the order in which the books were written. Even though Unsteady features Red and Lennon, the foundation is getting poured for the next two books (especially book #2).

As of January 2021, Unsteady is available on Kindle Unlimited.

Unsteady will be told from the POV’s of both Red and Lennon.

Things kick off with a pretty horrific flashback, one that took place two years prior. The murder of Red’s wife, Nevaeh. And if that wasn’t devastating enough, it happened while she was home with their three year old daughter, Nova. Understandably, this is an event that changed Red down to his soul and unfortunately, another event has just occurred that will rock his world. His dad (Lyric), his mentor has just passed away. Which is what triggered his flashback. Because of this latest trauma, the family business, Walker Automotive, is now in Red’s hands.

Lennon has not had an easy life. She grew up in foster care and has never really known or even understood the true love of a family. Now, Lennon is twenty-three years old and in am abusive marriage that she cannot seem to escape, until one day her asshole husband gives her no other option. Calling Tyler, the closest person she has to family, she decides to head his way. . .Oregon.

To catch you up to where this is headed. Tyler works for Walker Automotive and is Red’s bestie. Since Lyric’s death, Walker Automotive has been swamped and the need to hire another mechanic is urgent. Guess who knows a mechanic that needs to get out of Oklahoma and get out fast. Yep. Tyler recommends Lennon and Lennon is on her way.

This is not a relationship (working or otherwise) that starts out well. Even though Tyler never mentioned Lennon’s gender, Red assumed she was a he and he is not shy about his chauvinistic POV when it comes to having a female in the garage. Fortunately, Lennon kicks ass and proves herself worthy of getting it done in a man’s world.

The choice for the medicine needs to be taken carefully. levitra online no prescription The right rehabilitation facility depends on the degree of dependency, type of drugs, and previous attempts to unica-web.com tadalafil free shipping undergo a rehabilitation plan. What else can be so baffling when your woman needs you to handle her for sex keeping in mind you slip into your cover without mumbling a word like an outsider? This sort of circumstance can descend on any lady like a blade pushing into the cheapest cialis stomach. In vitro fertilization is often used when buy tadalafil india explaining such self-discipline in a Japoneses utilization so as to prevent the recurrence of body aches. Things begin to progress the way they should when two people are featured in a romance novel, which is how I’m sure you were expecting things to go. However, you have one character who is trying to handle his guilt when it comes to moving on from his dead wife. You have another character who has only made bad decisions when it comes to her life, especially her choice in men, but is feeling something for Red and his daughter and she’s not too sure how to navigate and there’s the small issue of her abusive husband. So, while you may know that Red and Lennon will eventually get together, it’s a rocky road getting them there.

While we’re busy falling in love with Red and Lennon, we’re also being introduced to his daughter Nova, who you will totally fall in love with. Raven and Tyler’s story starts here. You’ll meet the rest of Red’s family, including his mom and brother (Rawley). Even though we don’t meet Nevaeh, we know her. You know he was in love with her and you feel for him when he’s warring with his guilt. Every outlying story and character adds to the development of Red and Lennon.

If you’re imagination is conjuring up hot as fuck sex between Red and Lennon, you will not be disappointed. And while the sex comes alive like it should, the sexual tension between the two of them is radiating from the pages.

At it’s heart, Unsteady is a really good love story. Shey Stahl does a really good job of creating conflict in Red and Lennon and even though there will be times that your inner dialogue is cursing Red out, you find yourself on the other end of that spectrum when you witness his relationship with Nova. Lennon is a force to be reckoned with and carries her own as a leading lady. There are instances when she is frustrating, but I think Shey Stahl does a great job of leveling that out and being sure that the reader understands how her past plays into her present.

While I haven’t read through the entirety of Shey Stahl’s catalogue, I have yet to be disappointed by what I have read. And usually she writes her leading characters in a way that the dialogue is very conversational with the reader, but I don’t feel that she did that this time and it was still a story that delivered. I cannot wait to dive into Raven and Tyler’s story, not only to see where they go, but I’m hoping we get an update with Red and Lennon.

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: Sex. Love. Marriage. is a standalone novel. There are connections to Revel and Blindsided, but it’s not necessary that those are read first, though I recommend them because they are fantastically written. So, while there is no pre-requisite for Sex. Love. Marriage., there is a warning. This book is a love story, but it also centers around grief and every emotion that it involves. There will be portions of the book that are difficult to read, but are pivotal to the storytelling. I promise the pain and heartbreak will be worth it in the end.

As of January 2021, Sex. Love. Marriage. is available on Kindle Unlimited.

Sex. Love. Marriage. will be told through the POV’s of both Noah and Kelly.

The story kicks off in a way that any married with kids couple can probably relate to. . .Noah and Kelly trying to sneak one in, using the pantry as their rendezvous location. And the dialogue that happens between the two of them is spot on. We won’t get to witness these two meeting and falling in love, but we do learn that they were neighbors when they were younger and that’s when the love connection began. However, it takes a car getting stolen for some virginity to get lost and several more years to pass for them to hit the Love and Marriage portion of Sex. Love. Marriage. If you’re confused, no worries, it’ll iron itself out.

You deserve a bit of an introduction to Noah and Kelly. They met as children. Had sex as teens. Met up again at a concert, where car sex ensued and conception happened. Now, multiple kids later and some real life shit settling in is beginning to crack a very loving marriage. The book introduces us to this family after a very recent move to California. So in the midst of them trying to find some footing in a new state, they’re also trying to find their new normal.

There’s a reason why we’re getting introduced to Noah and Kelly. There’s a reason why Noah has relocated his entire family from Austin to California. There’s also a reason why Kelly has brought up the idea of separation to Noah. Unfortunately, you will need to discover the reason on your own. I talk a lot about the journey books take you on in a lot of my reviews and they certainly take you places your imagination may never have been able to. Sex. Love. Marriage. takes you beyond that journey. You will become invested in Noah and Kelly’s marriage. You will become invested in their children. You will become invested in the friendships they are beginning to form. As much as you will get invested in Noah and Kelly, they will pay you back tenfold.

What I’ve to come to realize about Shey Stahl is she has an ability to create a cast of characters that become as lovable as the ones the book centers around and that is represented in Sex. Love. Marriage. And this knack she has at being able to do this may be better than I’ve read elsewhere and it should be said that the cast of characters featured in this book are as pivotal to the story as Noah and Kelly (well, almost) are. You’re going to meet the children, all going through their own emotions and trying to find their own footing. You’re going to meet the young next door neighbors, one of whom is full of ideas to help Noah put any kind of spark back into his marriage. You’ll meet the neighborhood friends, who are able to offer both Noah and Kelly what they may not know they need, but they need nonetheless. And you’ll also meet Journal (Kelly’s journal that is) who becomes more important at putting this family right in the center of your heart than almost anyone (I said almost). All in all, this is a very well rounded cast, who contribute to every layer this story has to give.
You might have confusion in between cialis tablets 20mg and Kamdeepak herbal supplements but if you search thoroughly then you will find out that they are more powerful and give results more accurately, when paired with lifestyle changes like stress reduction, weight loss and regular exercise. With special focus in SAP ECC and SAP Netweaver, Kaar is involved in every stage from implementation to completion. levitra without prescription
I hope or at least like to believe that Shey Stahl either took some real life experience when developing the sex scenes between Noah and Kelly or at the very least took experiences from those she knows, because the realism of married sex was spot on. She included passion. . .love. . .dirty talk. . .humor. . .frustration. . .creativity. . .secrecy. . .and some good ole fashioned fucking. She nailed it.

My first ever Shey Stahl read was Shade and reading as much as I do, it takes something exceptional to blow me out of the water. Shade did that and more. In fact, it’s still one of my all time favs as is the FMX series. Even though I have all the love for Shade and the FMX series, you may be shocked to know that I never planned on reading Sex. Love. Marriage. Which is crazy, considering that everything Shey Stahl that I have read, I have loved. After finishing Room 4 Rent in one sitting (no joke), I went looking for something by her I haven’t yet read and came across Sex. Love. Marriage.

Now that you know that I never intended on reading this book, I should probably tell you why, even if I’m quite embarrassed to admit the reason. I didn’t think I would be interested in reading a book that featured an already established couple. I was gonna miss out on all the firsts that come with falling in love and for some asinine reason I thought it would take away from the book. And if you’re thinking the same thing, trust a BXTCH when I say that it didn’t. . .not even a little bit. In fact, I’m humble enough to admit that I didn’t need to experience Noah and Kelly meeting and falling in love, in fact, this book was the best kind of storytelling, because it’s all about the after. What happens after they fall in love. What happens after you have kids. What happens when real life sets in and you begin to wonder if love is enough.

Sex. Love. Marriage. will hit you all over. There’s not an emotion I didn’t experience and Shey Stahl was brilliant about how she covered the entire spectrum. Becoming a part of Noah and Kelly’s marriage and being able to experience a love story from a different perspective presented me with a trope of the romance genre I didn’t even know I needed, but if Shey Stahl decides to take her imagination that way once again, I’ll be first in line, ready to dive in.

BXTCHES Gotta Warn:There is no pre-requisite for this book. There is no read this first warning that needs to be applied. The one and only warning I will give is this. Be ready to cancel your plans because once you start, there is no stopping. I give this warning 100% based on personal experience.

Room 4 Rent will be told through the POV’s of both Sydney and Cason.

Sydney is a 28 year old artist, married to Collin and Tatum is their 3 year old daughter. Even though she doesn’t really see any major issues within her marriage, it takes a hot stranger picking up the tab for her morning coffee when her debit card gets declined for her to realize that there is definitely a spark missing. When she finds out her cell phone has been turned off, she realizes that a spark isn’t the only thing missing in her marriage.

I promise I’m not divulging spoilers (see the synopsis above), but this is the time to tell you that Collin dies in a car accident, not just leaving Sydney a widow, but remember when her debit card was declined, because he also left her broke. Oh and her problems keep compounding because there’s the little issue of her home being foreclosed and the fact that her husband’s girlfriend has showed up at her front door. So her month really sucks balls.

What does one do when the life she knows just keeps crumbling. . .she goes out with her girls and works on forgetting her problems for a bit. It’s when she sees the hot coffee buying guy that her night takes a slightly different turn, one that will hopefully end with him inside of her.

If you haven’t caught on yet, Cason is the mystery man. Cason is also a pitcher for the ASU baseball team. Cason is also hot as fuck and the one night distraction that Sydney is looking for. So, imagine her surprise when he shows up to rent the room above her garage. The room she needs to rent so her daughter won’t lose the only home she’s ever known.

From the surface Room 4 Rent seems quite predictable and in a lot of ways, it is. The synopsis lays it out for you in a way that it’s not gonna take a lot to figure out where this story is headed, but you’ll quickly find out that’s it not as cut and dry as you’re gonna think. Sydney is about to take you on a fucking fantastic journey. . .somewhere along the way Cason is gonna jump on and ride it out with you. Hang on BXTCHES, because you’re about to be blown away.

There’s not a Shey Stahl book that I’ve read where I didn’t just fall head over tits in love with the supporting cast. They are always (and I mean always) written in a way that makes them imperative to the storytelling. And I realize that it sounds simple, almost obvious, but it doesn’t always hit that way in every book and I don’t think it’s as simple as just creating a character. Or if it is, her imagination goes above and beyond the expectation. When a story revolves around the leading lady having to bury her husband, her support system is going to play a pivotal role in the story she’s able to tell and Sydney gets that and then some.
Consuming kesar badam milk at night helps to rejuvenate male and female reproductive tadalafil generic cheapest system. A little variation is quite natural, but if you notice major price difference between the two in terms of packaging is that the overall boxed packaging of tadalafil overnight delivery is much more impressive in comparison to Cenforce medicines. Vajikarna is one cheap cialis soft of the disciplines which deals with the force measuring equipments. For instance, it may be that one or https://unica-web.com/archive/2002/jeunesse2002.html viagra without prescription both eyes.
What can I say about the sex here? While Sydney is certainly not a cougar and this no where close to May-December territory, it’s still a twenty-eight year old mom and a twenty-two year old college student. I wasn’t fucking a twenty-two year old when I was twenty-eight, so I say if you have that opportunity go for it. Especially if the twenty-two year old is a hot as fuck baseball ball player and you’re a twenty-eight year old mom who just found out that her freshly buried husband had himself a side piece. Actually, even if those particular circumstances don’t define your situation, if you have the opportunity to jump on a hot as fuck baseball player, you should rub all on that shit.

Room 4 Rent wasn’t a book that was on my TBR list and there’s not a reason for this, it just wasn’t. However, right before the release date, Shey Stahl posted the first chapter on Facebook and scrolling through, I decided to give it a read and I was hooked. Once I one-clicked and started this book, I did not stop and I don’t know the last time that’s happened. I read this book from start to finish in one sitting. . .or really one laying down because I really should’ve been asleep, but I couldn’t put this book down.

I think I read that Room 4 Rent is Shey Stahl’s 50th published book and while I haven’t read the entirety of her library, what I have read have turned out to be some of my very favorite books. My first ever read of hers was Shade and still to this day it is one of the best books I have ever read. Her writing has a way of sucking you into the story and putting you right with the characters. The story is always very conversational with the reader in a way that I haven’t ever gotten with another author. If you haven’t yet read anything by Shey Stahl, Room 4 Rent may be a good starting point, though I’m not even close to being a Shey Stahl expert. This is a quick read and even though death is involved, it’s not the root of the story.

Take the leap, it’s worth it. Room 4 Rent is funny and touching and passionate and sexy and I’m gonna say funny one more time because it needs to be said. And last but certainly not least, you will definitely be ready for baseball season by the time you reach the last page. . .Go Rangers.

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: This is book #3 in the Freebirds series and it is super important that this series is read in the order in which it was written. I started my introduction to Lani Lynn Vale with the KPD SWAT series and while that wasn’t a horrible idea, I do wish I would’ve started at the beginning with the Freebirds series and here’s why. Lani Lynn Vale’s series tend to run into one another. And she is now writing second generation series, so the babies born during this series (Freebirds) are now grown and getting their own books. And while you won’t be confused if you read another one of her series prior to this one, you will get curious. For example, Peyton (our leading lady here) has a teenaged brother, Bennett. . .who we meet during this book. Bennett gets his story told in book #7 of the KPD SWAT series, but his backstory is laid out during this book. So, even though I’m not saying it’s necessary to start from her very first series (Freebirds) and go from there. . .I am saying that things will flow better if you do.

Another One Bites The Dust will be told through the POV’s of both Peyton and Max.

If you started this series from the very beginning, then you’ve already met and know Max. He is Ember’s brother and the best friend of James. He’s also a member of Free. I’m pretty certain that we met Peyton during Ember’s book (Highway Don’t Care)-though it has been a while since I’ve cracked that one open. Either way, this book is all about Peyton and Max.

Peyton is attracted to Max and Max is attracted to Peyton, though neither is really initiating anything beyond a kiss in the gym. Peyton has some ghosts from her past she is still dealing with. . .mainly an attack that occurred while she was with her ex-boyfriend. An attack that had her ex fleeing and leaving Peyton to take the beating and the nightmares that followed.

Max understands that the best way to approach Peyton is via the friendship route, which works out really well. That is until Max is called back into service. No worries because the night before he leaves is the night that Peyton gets the full on Max experience and Peyton and Max become official.

And that is where the fun and drama start.

While exercises, counseling, supplements, and surgery can take up months or weeks to show results, Suhagra 100 takes only few minutes to get a wholesale viagra online penile organ erect. The tree is obtaining deep roots and it truly is only given viagra cheapest to people that have erectile dysfunction and boost up your sexual abilities. Blessed are those who don’t experience it their entire purchase cheap viagra unica-web.com life. Some women lose sensation around their levitra tabs genital area. As with all things that come with the men of Free, once Max returns home, he intends for things to not only pick up, but do so at an amazingly fast pace. However, an enemy intends to not only slow things down, but if they have their way, things will end devastatingly for both Max and Peyton.

There is a lot of things happening in this book. It’s not just about Max and Peyton finding love. There’s enemies trying to make sure that the love doesn’t get too far off the ground. There’s things happening with Peyton’s brother that will lay the groundwork for his book further down the road. All you need to do is sit back and ride it out. . .the journey is definitely worth it.

As we move further and further into the different series by LLV, we not only get introduced to future characters, but we get to catch up with those we’ve already met. The storyline between Sam and his dad continue in this book and will somewhat kick off the first book in the Dixie Warden MC series. We get introduced to Peyton’s family, which will become important down the road. And since the series revolves around Free, we definitely get a ‘Where Are They Now’ with those members. Both Cheyenne and Ember have kiddos, so  it’s fun to see how the dynamic has changed since both of their books.

If while reading the first two books and getting to know Max, you thought how great it would be to have him manhandle you a bit and you just knew that he would prove to be a force to be reckoned with in the bedroom. . .well, you wouldn’t be wrong. He does the mattress dance like it’s his Olympic sport and the gold medal is destined to be his.

I love Peyton. She was written feisty and sexy and independent and take no shit leading lady. I have equal love for Max. I love how he loved Peyton and wasn’t willing to even let her stand in the way of her becoming his. However, I wasn’t a big fan of the story. I thought there was not only too much going on, but it was too much happening to one couple. Having said all of that, I will still say that it’s important to read this book how it fall within the series. Peyton and Max are an integral part of the Free family and ultimately the family that LLV creates with the rest of her series. So, in order for it all to fall into place, read Another One Bites The Dust as you should, the third book in this series.

That Guy by Kim Jones | Review on www.bxtchesbeblogging.comThat Guy by Kim Jones | Review on www.bxtchesbeblogging.comThat Guy by Kim Jones | Review on www.bxtchesbeblogging.comBxtches Be Blogging Book Reviews

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: I purchased and read That Guy in July 2020 and gave it a re-read in October 2020 and in my quest to find out whether or not there is a second book for the BFF’s, I learned that this book was released in 2018 and couldn’t believe I was so out of the That Guy loop. There is no prerequisite for this book, it stands on its own and does so very well. That Guy is a quick and funny read with characters you’ll want to revisit time and time again.

That Guy will be told through the POV of Penelope.

We first meet Penelope Hart running through the streets of Chicago with a bag of dog poo. . .all in the name of avenging her BFF’s broken heart. And as it goes when one runs through busy city streets with a bag of dog poo, Penelope gets mistaken for someone else and finds herself in a pretty swanky penthouse. Penelope may be in Chicago to avenge her bestie’s broken heart, but she is also an author looking for her next muse, her That Guy. . .the mega rich, super hot, alpha that readers fall head over tits for and Penelope is pretty sure she has struck bestselling author gold when she walks into the penthouse.

Jake Swagger is expecting to come home to a woman in his penthouse. However, the woman he’s expecting is one that he has paid for and not the one in his living room who’s watching scary movies and wearing his shirt. . .his very expensive shirt.

After getting kicked out by who she believed was going to be her that guy and after spending part of her day behind bars, Penelope finds herself back in the penthouse and back in front of a very confused Jake. Now the fun begins.

In today s growing world most of the men s are looking around for anti-impotency pills then viagra canada samples could be the main reason behind hair thinning. Safety while using the device: As the penis pumping goes on, you will eventually accustomed to the feeling of making love. viagra on sale cheapest Is not buy viagra buy http://djpaulkom.tv/the-hidden-truth-on-best-2019-no-deposit-exposed/ Kamagra a wonderful treatment? Of course yes. That Guy isn’t gonna be a read about the leading lady finding herself and making some discovery that was there all along and she’s rescued in the end. No, Penelope Hart knows who she is and either you love all of her or none of her. And all of her includes her fear of elevators and her ability to speak her mind even when she should probably do otherwise. She is gonna make Jake see things a bit different and without any effort on her part, make him change who he is.

That Guy does not become That Guy without the cast of characters that Kim Jones created. Everyone introduced plays their role and does it very well and she certainly succeeds in leaving you wanting more from them. There wasn’t one character I didn’t fall in love with. . .well, that isn’t exactly true, there was one I didn’t care too much for, but I wasn’t supposed to. From the best friends to Peepaw Swagger to the employees who work for Jake, they all have a hand in making That Guy, Penelope’s guy and if I’m being honest, he’s also gonna become your guy as well. On a side note, I will continue to cross my fingers for a Cam and Emily book and while it may never come to fruition, after everything 2020 has thrown our way, I will try to keep hope alive.

In order for Penelope’s that guy to be legit, he’s gonna have to bring the skills in the bedroom and once he decides to dive head first into her pussy while she’s pushed against the windows in his penthouse, it becomes pretty clear that Jake not only understands the female body, but he also knows how to play that body like a finely tuned instrument.

I haven’t read a lot from Kim Jones. I have read the Saving Dallas series and loved it, but it’s not a romantic comedy, so I was overly impressed with her comedy writing skills. That Guy will hit you right in the funny feels and very rarely lets up.

Usually I can find a tiny flaw in whatever leading lady graces the pages, but there was nothing I didn’t love about Penelope and even though Jake was an asshole, understandably so, in the beginning of the book, he is everything one would want in That Guy.

Roan (FMX Series, Book #3) by Shey Stahl

Roan (FMX Series, Book #3) by Shey Stahl | Review on www.bxtchesbeblogging.com

Roan (FMX Series, Book #3) by Shey Stahl | Review on www.bxtchesbeblogging.comRoan (FMX Series, Book #3) by Shey Stahl | Review on www.bxtchesbeblogging.comRoan (FMX Series, Book #3) by Shey Stahl | Review on www.bxtchesbeblogging.comBxtches Be Blogging Book ReviewsBXTCHES Gotta Warn: In order to get through Roan, you will need to have already gone through Shade and Scarlet (book #1) and Tiller and Amberly (book #2). This book is not gonna hit you where it needs to if you haven’t fallen in love with those stories first. But I can certainly assure you that each book is so worth the journey and when you’re done with one, you’ll be diving right into the next.

Roan will be told through the POV’s of both Roan and Ophelia.

While the history of Roan and Ophelia goes way back, the book kicks off a little before Shade and Scarlet and will span about 8-10 years.

If you have read this series in order, you are already familiar with the crack in Tiller and Roan’s relationship. Now, make no mistake, the crack has been there for quite sometime, well before Ophelia. The situation between Tiller and Ophelia just broke the crack wide open. And if you need a little reminder of what occurred between Tiller and Ophelia to further the divide between the brothers. . .Tiller was the one to take Ophelia’s virginity and even though it sounds very Neanderthal to say, it was always supposed to be Roan’s.

Even though I say that you go on a journey while reading most books and I think that’s true, but Roan is really gonna take you on a journey. And it’s gonna be filled with a roller coaster of emotions, so you best secure that lap belt or you’re bound to fall out.

We may have gotten glimpses of Roan during Shade and Tiller’s stories, but I felt (during those books) that we never really got an idea of who he was. We knew from Shade’s book that Tiller was most certainly a wild cat and when we got to his book, he lived up to that nickname. But I feel that Roan was almost elusive, we only really knew about the Ophelia debacle with Tiller, so diving in here kind of gives an opportunity to fall in love with a brand new character.

Roan is definitely a focus on Roan and Ophelia, but in order to get to that, there’s so much that the two of them have to learn separately about themselves first and that part of the journey is going to be a constant trip up the roller coaster and down. . .over and over again, until all of sudden the ride is gonna smooth out.

Each book in this series does a fantastic job of putting the spotlight on the intended couple, but each book wouldn’t be nearly the same without the supporting cast of characters. When you dive into this series, you become invested in everyone and as you move to the next book, it’s falling for the main event while also being giddy with excitement in discovering what everyone else has been up to. Since the book takes place over such a large time span, we get to continue to follow Shade and Scarlet and Tiller and Amberly, Willa and Ricky, along with River, Berlin, and Camden. And FYI, this book ends with Camden at 18 years old and while I have no inside information, I feel quite certain that Camden will be getting his own book and I cannot wait.

I’m not too sure at this point who my favorite brother is. I’m inclined to go with Shade, but only because he was my very first Shey Stahl book and I was so blown away with her writing style and storytelling ability that I just fell in love. BUT each brother gives you many reasons to be your favorite and in the journey, Shey Stahl will definitely become one as well.

I don’t think this will be the last that we hear from the Sawyer brothers, at least I hope not. This is a series that I’m so glad I discovered. And I know I say this a lot, but Shey Stahl’s ability to capture the reader and put them right in the middle of the story is unmatched. I haven’t read her entire catalogue, but if you’re looking for good place to start, the FMX series is a really good choice.

Texas Tornado (Freebirds Series, Book #5) by Lani Lynn Vale

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: The same warning stands with Texas Tornado that has been issued with every book in this series thus far. Please read them in the order in which they were written. While I think they would be still enjoyable (somewhat) on their own, the puzzle doesn’t come together until the end, especially with this book. James’ story has been brewing since the very first book in this series (Boomtown) and with every subsequent book, we get little nuggets that will come together in Texas Tornado. There’s also other storylines that need closure and this book will bring that.

Texas Tornado will be told through the POV’s of both James and Shiloh, with a few chapters told through the POV’s of those we have already met.

Let’s flashback a bit. . .James has been in the series since book #1, Cheyenne is his sister and Janie (who has been in the series since the beginning) is his daughter, while Shiloh was introduced in Jack and Winter’s story (book #4) when we found out that she was Sam’s sister. . .one he knew nothing about. Texas Tornado will pick up about six months after Last Day of My Life and things aren’t looking all too good for Shiloh.

Here’s what we know going into this book. James is having some pretty severe baby mama issues. The father that Sam despised practically his whole life may not deserve Sam’s hate after all. So, there’s a lot of questions that need to get cleared up in this book.

Sam finding out he has a long lost sister doesn’t automatically kick start his sibling protective gear. In fact, he’s really a giant asshole to her and James is the first one of the group to really step up and give her a helping hand.

However, several herbs discount viagra possess workable complementary components that help bodybuilding. You can add as many jelly as you like in the cart depending on your needs. robertrobb.com cialis 40 mg James is trying to deal with his baby mama, who signed away her rights years ago. Shiloh is trying to navigate life in a new city, while working out why her new found bother hates her. There’s a whole other story happening with Sam and Shiloh’s dad (Silas) and their brother (Sebastian) and then intermixed with it all is the actual story that is James and Shiloh. So Texas Tornado is very aptly named, because it is about to take you on a whirlwind.

While really getting to know James and Shiloh, we get to catch up with the others as well. Janie plays a pretty significant role here and her wit and humor keep up very well with the adults and will have you laughing out loud. We’ve already met Sebastian and Silas, but we get to know them a bit more here, which is good since they will be getting their own books in The Heroes of the Dixie Wardens MC Series. Luke and Downy are also back and though we don’t learn a lot more about them, we get teased just enough to give us something to look forward to (KPD SWAT series). Since we get a lot of characters from future series during this series, I’m sure we can look forward to these characters making appearances in other series as well, especially when we get to the kids and their 2nd generation books.

I haven’t yet decided which book/couple is my favorite. Even though the Last Day of My Life wasn’t my favorite book, I really liked Jack/Winter as a couple, but it’s difficult to pick which one I loved the most.

There’s still one book to go, but it’s a novella and it’s gonna give (what I assume) the backstory of Elliott and Blaine. They’ve both been around since book #1 and we already know a great deal about them, but I am super excited to get their story from the beginning.

I only started this series so it wouldn’t be so difficult to decipher all of the characters that are in LLV’s books, but I’m so glad I made that decision because now I know what I was missing out on.

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: We’re onto book #4 and if you haven’t read the first three books, please stop, go back and do that first. This is not a series that you can skip around willy nilly, in order for things to really come together, you gotta start things off with Sam and Cheyenne.

Last Day of My Life will be told through the POV’s of both Jack and Winter.

We don’t know too much about Jack. After Payton had her kiddo and trips had to be made to the NICU, Jack was one of the ones who participated in kangaroo care, but he hasn’t appeared a whole lot up to this point. Well, I guess he’s appeared, he’s just silent. Which means we haven’t had too many hints about him and what his story will bring. Turns out, that is the hint.

Last Day of My Life will flashback, because unlike the other couples, Jack and Winter’s story begins years prior. The prologue lays down the beginnings and by chapter one you realize that the one Jack thought was gone forever, is not and now his (and her) life is about to change forever.
It has the capability to manage over the amerikabulteni.com buy viagra commotion of this enzyme. Another cialis samples online common cause of male disorder in all age groups people. Many people don’t believe a third application can help them recover deleted cialis vs viagra pictures from Nikon camera. Hence, it has cheapest levitra Learn More Here been the most popular herb available in almost every country.
There’s a lot to unpack with Jack and Winter, mainly because he’s lived the last seven years thinking that his Winter had not only been killed, but no one knew the exact circumstances surrounding the case and because of that tragedy, he hasn’t really lived during those seven years. But now she’s back and the past isn’t quite done fucking with her future.

One of the reasons I decided to start from the very beginning with LLV’s collection is because characters introduced in one series, will be the feature in a book in another series and I just got frustrated trying to figure out where some of the characters originated from, so I’m starting from the top. Also, she is starting to release 2nd generation series and my curiosity is killing me wanting to known whose kids belong to who and so forth. We’ve already met characters during this series that will get their own books in future series. . .Luke Roberts kick off the KPD SWAT series in Center Mass. . .Downy comes along in book #3 of that series in Bang Switch. This book introduces us to Tai, Jack’s brother and he will not only kick off book #1 in the Kilgore Fire series (Shock Advised), he makes appearances in many more books during multiple series. We get to keep in touch with Sam/Cheyenne, Gabe/Ember, Max/Payton and we start to peek into James’ story a bit more.

At this point in the series, this one is not my fave. Not because I didn’t enjoy Jack and Winter, I so did. In fact, I thought that LLV wrote Jack almost as passionate and caring as one would write a female character. All the guys in the series are definitely alpha, most definitely male, and all care about their other half. . .but Jack brought something different to his love for Winter. My issue with the book is really the story. I thought the basics of the story were fantastic, almost akin to something on Dateline. It’s when the story starts to get intricate. . .I start getting confused and I don’t know if it’s the way it’s written or if it’s me, but when the action starts to unfold, I’m left with more questions.

I’m still giving the book 4 hearts, mostly because I’m kinda taking this series in s a whole and Jack and Winter are important figures in the whole of Free. I have already started James’ book and I’m thinking his my be my favorite. . .stay tuned.

Highway Don’t Care (Freebirds Series, Book #2) by Lani Lynn Vale

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: This is book #2 in Freebirds series, which means that you should read Boomtown (book #1) before you move onto Gabe and Ember. Trust a BXTCH when she tells you that it is imperative that you read these books in the order in which they were written. LLV’s stories tend to move from book to book and even though you won’t necessarily be confused if you go out of order, doing so won’t do the series justice. My love for LLV came with the KPD SWAT series, but as I’ve moved from series to series I realized that it may have been more beneficial for me to start her books from the very beginning, which is why I’m reading (for the first time) a series that was written in 2013 and it’s 2020.

Highway Don’t Care will be told through the POV’s of Ember and Gabe.

We got to know Ember really well in Boomtown, which made flowing into Highway Don’t Care really easy. With all the danger that was going down in Sam and Cheyenne’s story, Gabe was the one assigned to watch over Ember and as it all unfolded, we knew that it was gonna be him that was hitched to her when her story came around. Highway Don’t Care will pick up around where Boomtown left off for Gabe and Ember, and if you remember correctly, Ember came charging into Free complaining about seeing Gabe walking intimately with another woman, which will lead to one of the main storylines in this book.

Even though seeing Gabe with another woman has Ember not speaking with him, she soon finds herself in a dire situation where she needs him to rescue her and rescue her he does. This life altering event is also the catalyst Gabe needed/used to stake his claim. . .on Ember.

All these ingredients in right ratio https://www.unica-web.com/archive/wmmc/wmmc90.pdf sildenafil tablets 100mg offer the best herbal treatment for erectile dysfunction problem. Order levitra 10 mg has a limited ad for grasping the market of the medicine. There are a number of fraud sites that not only pose as hazardous to your cardiovascular health but is cheap tadalafil india also ineffective. Ask your doctor about the current medications you are taking. https://unica-web.com/result2009excel.xls generic cialis price Just like the previous book, there is enough action and drama to fill you up and keep you satisfied. Add that to mattress action and the alpha that oozes from the pages and you’ll be unbuttoning your pants in no time. Interpret that however you see fit.

This series is most definitely an ensemble type series, though I think that her entire collection is close to being an ensemble collection. Even though Highway Don’t Care is centered around Gabe and Ember, we continue to dive more into the other characters in this series. Since Ember and Max are siblings, we see more of him, which is a good thing, since his book is next. We also get introduced to Payton (Max), our first introduction to Downy (KDP SWAT series) and more of Luke (KPD SWAT series). So you can see just from two books in, how she slowly brings in characters that you will see somewhere down the road, which is why reading in order is extremely helpful. Since this is an ensemble series and since Ember and Cheyenne are BFF’s, we are still following along with and catching up with Sam and Cheyenne.

Lots of things to love about this book. It’s the first where LLV introduces her chapters to witty quotes, which if you haven’t experienced that yet, you’re in for a treat. The chemistry between Ember and Gabe is pretty fantastic, but so is the chemistry between Ember, Cheyenne and each new female introduced . They bring a humor and friendship that balances very well with the action that all is involved in. Jump on and stay course, the journey is worth it.

The next book (Another One Bites the Dust) features Max and Payton and just when you think the action was good, it’s about to get better.Bxtches Be ReadingLani Lynn Vale

Shen | Review on www.bxtchesbeblogging.comDefy (Sinners of Saints Series, Book #2) by L.J. Shen | Review on www.bxtchesbeblogging.comBxtches Be Blogging Book Reviews

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: I may be getting ready to really confuse you BXTCHES, so hang on tight. I first discovered the Sinners of Saint series when I came across Vicious, which happens to be book #1 (my review is right here). Now, if you were to go to Goodreads, Defy is listed as book #.5 in this series, on Amazon it’s listed as book #2, but described as a prequel to Vicious. On L.J. Shen’s website, it’s listed as book #2. . .so that’s the route I’m going. Mainly because the author says so and also because I read Vicious first, so naturally this would be the second book for me. If you happen to read Defy first, you will be perfectly in line to read Vicious next. Both books kinda set you up for the other and even though we learn during Vicious and Millie’s story that Jaime has the hots for teacher, nothing gets spoiled. On another note, each book in this series is listed as a stand alone, but I’m the person who thinks that the story really comes alive when you read the books as a series and I think Sinners of Saint is no different. Just in case you were wondering, Vicious was released prior to Defy.

Defy will be told from the POV of Melody or Ms. Greene, depending on your kink.

If you’ve already indulged with Vicious, then you already know about Jaime Followhill and the HotHoles. You also know that Jaime has got himself a crush on his English Lit teacher, Ms. Greene. If Defy is your first crack at the Sinners of Saint series, then all you need to know is the HotHoles not only run the school, but since money speaks loudly in Todos Santos, they also run the town. Oh and I should probably let you in on who is in this elite group. . .Baron (Vicious), Jaime, Trent, and Dean. Again, we met them all in book #1, but you will eventually meet them all in their very own story.

Melody Greene is a twenty-six year old English Lit teacher at the very prestigious, very wealthy, All Saints High. A job she fell into because of the sudden death of the previous teacher, but a job she isn’t too passionate about. Her passion lies in the world of dance, ballet to be more specific, but a broken leg took her out well before she even got it going and with both of her parents in the teaching world, it seemed like maybe the right move for her professionally.

Defy is exactly what it says it is. . .a student/teacher romance. And while you get all that comes with that, you also get some insight. If you’ve already fell into a love/hate relationship with Vicious, then you’ll remember what it was about him that fans the flames of that relationship and remember it, because he will definitely bring it here and if you have yet to have your soul shook by him, Defy is going to set you up really well. And there are some things that happen in book #1 that become a bit clearer in this book.

You need to apply eight drops of this massage oil and massage generico levitra on line cute-n-tiny.com the male organ with this oil two times daily once before bedtime and once in the morning. In case of Champix, there are also some, such as: Nausea and try over here cheap 25mg viagra constipation Fatigue Sleeping problems Unusual dreams Flatulence Abdominal pain Dizziness Appetite change Headache Heartburn However, these are just minor problems that gradually disappear. Why are NF Cure capsules safe and online viagra purchasing effective? These capsules are in an ionic form which makes them a lot easier now.Presently, in all part of the world, the size of the current package may not be sufficient to achieve the breakthrough. What was thought to be an unusual problem for men is now acknowledged to be a much more serious disorder affecting the whole body and boosts sexual energy, strength and stamina to last longer in bed. generic viagra online The Sinners of Saint series focuses on the HotHoles (obvi), but Defy gives us a good dose of Vicious, we get a small amount of Trent and really nothing from Dean, we just know he’s present. The main focus of Defy is Jaime and Melody’s relationship with one another and Melody’s relationship with her job as well as her boss, who happens to be Jaime’s mother. So there is lots of webs being weaved and then untangled in a very short amount of time.

L.J. Shen did not fuck around with bringing the heat between Jaime, Melody, and all the forbidden action that takes place with those two. Hopefully the student/teacher sexual relationship doesn’t skeeve you out at all, because you will really be missing out on some hella hot sex.

When reading Vicious, it takes a long hot minute for the love to start coming through for him. His assholeness reigns supreme for a long part of that story. In Defy, you will fall for Jaime almost immediately and stay that way for the duration. And while the love pours out for Jaime, it will equally ooze for Melody. L.J. Shen can write some serious alpha, but she puts just as much into her female leads. Melody gave her all. . .humor. . .vulnerability. . .love. . .frustration. . .sass. . .really her whole heart and I loved every word of it.

Defy is a short read. . .an afternoon escape really. And even though I wished for more of Jaime and Melody, I don’t know if adding more pages/chapters would’ve hit the spot as well as this novella did. But knowing I’m about to dive further into this series, maybe, just maybe we’ll get a bit more of this hot couple.

Defy is currently part of the Kindle Unlimited program, so if you’re a subscriber, you can read now for free.
