It's Reality BXTCHES | The Bachelorette | Weekly recap on www.bxtchesbeblogging.comIt's Reality BXTCHES | The Bachelorette | Weekly recap on www.bxtchesbeblogging.comBXTCHES Gotta Warn: First thing. . .we are blessed with two episodes this week, but all that really indicates is we’re just getting one really long ass episode, cut in half. So, as great as tonight was, we have to wait until tomorrow for the continuation. I know that I compared The Bachelorette (the show, not the actual person) to the equivalent of a modern day soap opera, tonight’s episode just really hammered that point home even further. We do get some drama tonight, ABC wasn’t gonna overfill our bowl, they did need to leave some shit for tomorrow, what tonight gave us was some heat and get ready BXTCHES. . .a couple of these guys are most definitely not afraid to go after what it is they want.

Last Week On: We said goodbye to Brady, Diggy, and Bryce and to prove to you how uneventful those losses were. . .I bet you BXTCHES didn’t even recall watching those guys walk out. Dean got the one-on-one, Josiah won the spelling bee, and Peter rapped. Kenny and Lee ended the episode with a showdown that will carry over to tonight.

This Week On: Tonight the gang moves from Hilton Head, SC and take this gig international. They will kick things off in Norway and we will get (1) one-on-one, (1) group date, and (1) two-on-one. . .let’s get started.

We pick up where we left off and that’s the feud that is brewing during the group date cocktails. The feud in question is between Kenny and Lee. Now, it’s really just a bunch of he told on me and now he must be set straight nonsense. When ABC left us with a serious case of blue balls last week, we were all under the impression that Kenny was about to lay one on Lee, and I ain’t talking about love either. Kenny addresses the aggressive issue, Lee continues to goad him while twisting some words around. Kenny calls him a snake and it was all very disappointing, akin to watching the air deflate from a balloon. C’mon, the game needs to be stepped up, we got good doses from Chad and Alex, we expect more from the two of them. The issue of being too good to be true comes up during her discussion with Bryan and that motherfucker lays it on thick. So, he is either the real deal and she needs to scoop him up quick OR we’re gonna be calling him an asshole in the end. Good thing we are not forced to pick a door. . .yet. But on a positive note, when Bryan goes in for a kiss, he goes all in. I am super shocked that clothes have stayed on up to this point, because there is not a doubt in my mind, that if those two were alone, the make-out session would have a totally different outcome. When it’s time to hand out the rose, everyone has high hopes, but Bryan (and his tongue) must’ve worked her over good, because he’s leaving the date in a very good place. And with him now being on the receiving end of two roses, the other guys are starting to realize how crazy the chemistry is between the two of them, but right now either the jealousy is non-existent or Kenny wanted it to appear that way so he could take a jab at Lee, which had Lee responding with an impressive “Fuck you.”. On a side note: When Rachel gets up to leave a group date, why is there not one guy up, offering to walk her out? Dean made the offer once and she accepted, but it just seems like the perfect time to get a couple minutes alone with her, while offering some sort of normalcy. That’s what one would do in a regular setting, right? I’m gonna lay this one on Bryan, he should’ve made the offer. Mainly so we could watch them kiss again, but partly because it’s the gentlemanly thing to do. Some points are gonna have to be knocked off for the Casanova.

In case our memory has failed us, it has been a long seven days, but Jack was awarded a one-on-one date last week, but we’re just now getting to it. Let me digress for just a bit. When the cast was revealed, Jack was one of my favorites. Not only was he handsome, but they are both attorneys and are both from Dallas. He also has a really good backstory, which maybe shouldn’t factor into a relationship, but it helped him win points on my scoresheet. Having said all of that, his appeal has lost some of its luster along the course of the show, so I’m hoping that this one-on-one would shine him up a bit more. The beginning of the date even has Rachel admitting how perfect they are on paper. They kick things off with shucking some oysters and it looked about as disgusting as it sounds. My favorite part of the date is when they got themselves some shag lessons, because there isn’t a woman alive above the age of 30, who hasn’t watched that movie about 100 times. Now, I know that some say that you can tell how well a man moves in the bed by how well he moves on the dance floor, if this fact rings true. . .then Rachel’s belly button is in for a world of hurt. The conversation that should flow easy, is painful. Jack is making an effort, but his effort is becoming embarrassingly hard to watch.

Back at the Hotel: Lee and Will are in the midst of discussing the drama that is unfolding between Lee and Kenny. Every single time that the issue of drama comes up and the issue of the guys talking to Rachel about said drama, the ball always gets thrown back to Rachel. Lee has told Will that it was Rachel that asked him about the issues with Kenny. It’s almost like some of these guys have no idea that Rachel will in fact watch these episodes. . .Lee does feel as if he is providing a service to Rachel, but it is starting to take its toll on him. . .oh the pains of being a racist. Will tries his best at educating Lee and how it gets translated when you use the word ‘aggressive’ so freely as an identifying descriptor towards black men. Staying true to his racist form, Lee turns it around and accuses Kenny as playing the race card. It was all very “Remember the Titans”. While Will wasn’t and still isn’t my favorite, he gained a bit of ground tonight.

Dinner time has approached and if we were just gonna go with Jack’s perception of the date up to this point. . .he is not only all in, but he is starting to fall. The conversation kicks off well enough, but Rachel is missing passion when it comes to Jack. Unfortunately for Rachel, she wears every internal expression she goes through on her face. Jack may have yet to pick up on it, but Rachel is our girl, so we know when she just ain’t feeling things and I gotta say, she may be sitting through this portion of the date, but going by the looks on her face, Jack won’t be sticking around. The nail in the coffin for me was when he talked about bringing her back to Dallas. She asked him what they would do and being from the DFW area myself, he could’ve rattled off a list of things, this motherfucker went with, locking the door and hanging out. Well, color me stupid, but isn’t that what the two of them are doing on this date? C’mon Jack, you gotta bring it better than that. Unfortunately, Rachel lays it all out and tells Jack that he is missing the X-Factor and cuts things off with him before any more time is invested. I really think that for Rachel and Jack, they are better off as friends. And I gotta admit that I do feel a bit of pain for any future belly buttons that he may come across if this is his “look”:

As you can see, Lee continues to stay on life support. But once again, Rachel seems very reluctant to pin it on him. Thank fuck that this two-on-one date is about to go down. Now that the roses have been handed out, it’s time to take this shit international. First up is Oslo, Norway

I guess Rachel is an eager beaver and wants no time wasted when it comes to spending it with all of her boys. She meets up with the guys and quickly moves in to take Bryan on their one-on-one. Now, I may be super excited about this date because let’s face facts, Rachel and Bryan’s relationship is kinda playing out like a really good romance novel. But, either Rachel is really wanting to solidify her chemistry with Bryan or the last week has pushed her past her point and she is really wanting to just have some fun and a little sexy time. Regardless of the cause, the other guys are really starting to take notice of the electrifying chemistry she shares with Bryan and to settle down the jealousy, Dean throws around the ‘what if’ of Bryan not returning. Now, we all now that would be an even bigger shock than the Falcons losing the Super Bowl, but I found it commendable that he would try to calm some nerves.

Rachel does confess (to the camera) that the reason Bryan was her first choice in Norway, was because of the ‘too good to be true’ dynamic he brings when they’re together. She acknowledges the heat that ignites when they are in one another’s company, but she just wants to be sure that there is more there than sparks. She does go on to point out that Bryan is the complete package: looks, older, great job. . .but what is the catch. Why is he still single? On a quick side note: Am I the only one who finds some resemblance between Bryan of The Bachelorette and Bryan from Color Me Badd? Only the 90’s version of him, not the current one. Maybe this is why I’m fanning myself constantly when he’s gets himself from screen time.

They kick things off by rappelling down an Olympic ski jump. Crazy as fuck if you ask me, but what better way to become even more connected to your future spouse than by possibly plummeting to your death. Once they finally find their way off the side of the ski jump, things start to rappel quite quickly (no pun intended), they even have time for some lovin’. They briefly discuss Rachel’s concerns, but not in great enough detail that slams the gavel in one direction or the other. We can only take from what we see and from what I can gather, these two are starting to develop something. . .it could certainly be purely physical, but maybe the one-on-one is what was needed to start in on the intellectual level.

Meanwhile back at the hotel: Our resident motivation speaker (but really Debby Downer), Eric, is beginning to question Rachel’s connection with the remaining black guys and takes the concern even further when he wonders aloud that “maybe dating brothers might not be her choice at this time”. His thoughts have lead him down this path because out of all of the ‘brothers’ in the house, Anthony is the only one who has been blessed with one-on-one time. Funnily enough, Eric is pondering these concerns with Anthony. Anthony may understand where Eric is coming from, however, he doesn’t agree with him. Anthony kinda puts it all in perspective and it seems that Eric may leave the discussion reading from the same page and book as Anthony, but only time will tell.

Going into the nighttime side of the date, Rachel is really wanting to put her fears to rest and either hear or feel something from Bryan that allows her to stop doubting in what he offers and to start believing in his words. We did get an ‘aha’ moment when Rachel begins to reveal a bit of her past. We learn that her older sister was always the pretty one and Rachel was always the cool one and it wasn’t until college that she started to turn some heads, which made it difficult to take compliments and believe any goodness from men. . .so now we know and so does Bryan, now we just wait to see what he does with the information. He does relate to her a bit with his own awkward high school story. We finally get a past relationship story from him, in which we learn that he was in a four year relationship, but when it came time to discuss the serious stuff with his ex, he deflected, he then realized that he needed to strap one on and be a man. His lesson from that was never leaving a situation without the other knowing where he stands. It wasn’t a deep, dark story, but we did learn a bit more. He does lay it down when he admits that is is “truly, falling in love” with Rachel and since she wears every thought almost as well as she wears her MAC (though I’m not sure where I stand with the gold eye color). It was very apparent that she had to fight back the urge to scream “ME TOO!” She later confesses to the camera that she believes him when he confesses his love and that she “likes Bryan a lot. A lot.”

Meanwhile back at the hotel: While they sit around and wonder how Bryan’s date is going, the date card arrives. Once the names are read, Kenny and Lee realize that a showdown starring The Wrestler vs. The Racist is about to commence.

Group Date: “I’m looking for a guy, who’s good with his hands.” -Rachel. Adam, Dean, Anthony, Peter, Matt, Will, Alex, Eric, and Josiah are up. Handball is the name of the game and laughter is the name of the uniform. It’s Red vs. Blue and even Rachel gets in on the fun. It gets especially frisky when Peter decides to remove his hand from the ball and place them on Rachel’s ass. This does not go unnoticed by Josiah, who chimes in with “. . .he picks her up and he has a handful of ass. I’m talking about a handful of ass.”. . .”Damn, I wish that was me.” Now, he could be referring to Peter or Rachel at this point, who knows? Will comes out as the MVP, which really forced Rachel to pay attention to what Will can bring to the relationship. The cocktail party comes along and Will uses his time to really show some vulnerability, he also lays on a couple of kisses. Alex has written down his thoughts, which seemed a bit strange to me, but he makes up for it when he takes control of the kiss. . .yeah it was pretty hot. Matt gifts her with some song lyrics and Eric is still placing himself in the friend zone. Now, just as Rachel is confessing to the camera that she doesn’t see how the night could go wrong, ABC edits in her sitting down with Josiah and anyone who watches the show, knows that things are most likely not going to bode well for Josiah. The discussion starts out with Josiah laying it on super thick. He tells Rachel how beautiful she is and how his dad knew on just the second date with his mother that he was going to marry her, he then continues the proverbial finger diddle when he tells her that he believes that she is the woman of his dreams and he just wants to grow old with her. Now, at this point I think that Rachel is fighting with her instinct to run, but she holds it together. She fires back when she tells Josiah that she wants him to ask questions about her, not just things that he has read about her. Instead of Josiah jumping aboard that boat, he compliments her again with how perceptive and amazing she is. She then tells the camera that “he sounds very disingenuous” and makes her feel as if he is “more fascinated with the idea” of her “than really getting to know who Rachel is” Of course, Josiah believes it was the most “real conversation” he has had with Rachel up to this point. It’s now time for Peter to put them all to shame. Even in the short time that he has known her, he has picked up on the fact that she gives visual cues. And while I’m usually all about the conversation that goes down between Rachel and whatever guy, tonight is not the case. As soon as the two of them move things to the balcony, things begin to heat up. . .in more ways than one. The hot tub in the corner is just taunting them to take advantage and take advantage they do. Before we know it, they have stripped down and Rachel is giving Peter one hell of a lap dance. How his dick came back from that, we will never know. I’m sure it was a mean one-on-one session between Peter and his balls later that evening. His time away from the guys was certainly pointed when Peter joined them and somebody mentions “Mr. 3 1/2 hours”, just imagine what the mumbling would’ve been if one of them had interrupted the rodeo in the hot tub, because if Josiah thought that Peter had his hands full of Rachel’s ass during the game, he would’ve gotten an eyeful out on that balcony. Oh, and the hot tub idea was all on her. As much as I thought she would be pinning Peter with the rose tonight, that honor went to Will, which leads Peter to start second guessing hisself and allows some doubt to creep in.

Two-On-One: “Kenny and Lee, your fate is up in the air.” -Rachel “Two men, one rose. One stays, one goes.” -Chris Harrison | I guess we are where we thought we would be, it just pisses me off that Rachel had to keep Lee around for the sake of ratings, but without further ado, let’s get to this date. If it were me, I would just sit at the table with both of the guys, and put it all out there. Let’s courtroom this bitch. But, Rachel being the lawyer she is, decides to separate the two and takes Kenny away first. Kenny puts it out there and tells Rachel that he is looking for a “forever thing”, now he immediately hits Rachel with the idea of wanting someone who his daughter can emulate. I get it, BUT. . .I don’t really think the way to go is to start talking about the role she is going to play in his daughter’s life. Also, isn’t that what her mother is for? He covers the Lee debacle by telling Rachel that he believes Lee thought he was losing ground where his relationship with her was concerned and needed to lash out. BXTCH side commentary: Okay, this is where this show gets a bit muddy for me. I get it’s entertainment, I get that ratings are involved, BUT. . .if Rachel is someone who is as perfect on paper as she is in person (Kenny’s analysis), then what difference does it make where Lee stands with her? This is why I am Team Peter and Team Bryan. I don’t know enough yet to know if they are The One, but at least they stay out of it. They allow the villain to shoot himself in the foot. This tattle telling that these guys go through is exhausting. I prefer Kenny over Lee, but now Kenny is irritating the fuck out of me. Dude, just sit with her and talk, you have made a child, surely you know the steps. If the discussion needs to move towards the drama, then let her guide it. All of this, just so ABC could step up the drama. That’s insulting. It did seem that Kenny did a decent job of convincing Rachel that the drama is being led more by Lee and even Rachel confesses that her gut tells her that Kenny is telling the truth. Kenny backtracks (where I’m concerned) when he joins Lee and starts up with the constant babble. Just shut the fuck up and let Lee do Lee, a true asshole can’t keep that shit buried for long. When Lee is put on the stand, I don’t have the first clue where the vile that spewed from his mouth came from. Now, there was truth in Kenny calling Lee names, but am I the only one who doesn’t remember Kenny pulling Lee from a van? Regardless, Lee does tell Rachel that it occurred, he then tells her that the unfriendly side of Kenny only comes out when he (Kenny) drinks and that Kenny has confessed to him that he has a dark side. I haven’t witnessed any of this, but that’s not to say it hasn’t happened, but I don’t think it happened. Lee is definitely laying on the victim card and it may be confusing Rachel, but her look is saying that she doesn’t really believe him. She does pull Kenny away again, to address Lee’s accusations, this is the time where I would put them together and let the argument ensue, but Rachel being the diplomatic one, goes a different route. Kenny of course denies Lee’s accusations and it seems that Rachel believes him, but it also appears that Lee did exactly what he set out to do, which is to rile Kenny up. Whenever you begin having a conversation with thin air, things are probably not going to end well for you and Kenny is all up in the air’s business and even though Lee is just yards away, it seems as if Kenny is more content complaining to no one. What happens next you ask? Well, I don’t fucking know because we have to wait for Tuesday night to roll around for the conclusion. I guess I should be grateful that it’s just one day and not seven.

The Bachelor | It's Reality BXTCHES | Episode Re-Cap on www.bxtchesbeblogging.com

“I don’t give a damn about Kenny and Lee. Unless someone starts throwing punches, I ain’t getting involved. That said, I will watch.” -Will

“I wish Lee’s dad would’ve instilled a little bit more manhood in him. But maybe Lee’s dad was like ‘nah, that’s a bitch, I’m good. He can go out into the world and let somebody else whip his ass.’. . .”I feel sorry for Lee’s parents, because they gotta be like ‘damn, that’s our son’.” -Kenny

“I would like to lay my cock on your fucking chin, because you’re a bitch.” -Kenny                     *I actually had to put the pieces of this quote together, good thing I know all about being a BXTCH and speak it fluently.

“I love parents.” -Jack

Brah, she likes Bryan.” -Josiah

Well, we most certainly are getting somewhere. I know I have been beating this Lee thing over and over again, but I’m a wordy BXTCH and I just don’t find the issue to be nugatory-shout out to Ryan Skidmore for schooling a BXTCH on a new word. Much love!-It’s no secret that those who run these reality shows like to pit a good guy against a bad guy, I get that, but this situation is getting a bit dicey. We are dealing with someone who we now know is a racist, consistently trying to egg on a black contestant. We can argue points all day long, but what really cemented Lee as a bonafide asshole is when he confesses to the camera that he was gonna “get his girl” and he wasn’t referring to himself, he was saying that he was gonna get Kenny’s girl. That alone clued me in to Lee’s true mission and it’s not to give Rachel his last name. C’mon, he has to know that Kenny is not leading the field when it comes to his relationship with Rachel, so really he’s just being a d-bag. I’m certainly not excusing Kenny, I think this would be the perfect time to educate him on how to walk away. If Dean is able to recognize Lee’s less than noble ways, then surely Kenny should’ve identified it. I’m not suggesting a run to Rachel to tell her that Lee is racist, but let the chips fall and I can guarantee that they will land where they are supposed to.

Do we think that the sexual chemistry she has with these guys are going to play a big role in her final pick? While I think it’s important, do we believe that she will lean towards someone that she has an intellectual spark with, but has yet to get a rise in her libido with? Because for the love of the reverse cowgirl, let’s talk about the sexual tension that is brewing between Rachel and Bryan AND Rachel and Peter. Just when I jump on one team, I’m forced to switch positions, because the other one then brings in their tongue game. My top four are: Bryan, Peter, Anthony, and Alex. I’m a bit shaky about Alex, but after the kiss he laid on her tonight, I may keep him around a bit. I do have Peter being the one on bended knee in the end and after that hot tub scene tonight. . .girl, you better be ready to take that for a ride. But, Good Golly Miss Molly, I love the way Bryan takes control of the kiss and goes all in. . .and if he’s that good with working the lips on her face, can you BXTCHES just imagine. . .But hey, we were all witnesses to the way Peter used his hands on her ass in the water, I ain’t mad at that. I guess the conclusion is, we’ll just have to wait and see.

The Bachelor Re-Cap | www.bxtchesbeblogging.comIt's Reality BXTCHES | The Bachelorette | Weekly recap on www.bxtchesbeblogging.com

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: I feel like I need to offer up some sort of disclosure and I’m sure I’ve said this before, but I’m gonna go ahead and vocalize once again. This is my first go at Nick. Now, I caught a bit of him on Paradise last summer, but that show was too much for my Bachelor innocence. I mean, my cherry was lost with Ben, so going from Ben/Jojo straight to Paradise was like losing your virginity and two hours later going right to anal. You gotta let the vajayjay get used to be intruded upon before you go back door. I needed a little more exposure to the mansion before I moved onto the island. I say this because I realize a lot of you BXTCHES out there have a bad taste in your mouth when it comes to Nick and from what I understand, he played the villain on his Bachelorette seasons. I haven’t seen that side yet. I can feel it a little, because the frustration is starting to bubble, BUT we are not at a rolling boil yet, so I’m still on the #ilikenick side. I guess we’ll see where it gets me in the end. As for tonight’s episode, it had moments where it was looking good, but it quickly began to resemble the shit that was scooped up last week and the shit all came down to Taylor and Corinne.

Last Week On. . .ABC is beginning to make a (very bad) habit of leaving us wondering “what the fuck?” and last week was no different when they hit us AGAIN with a “To Be Continued”. C’mon ABC, get it together, Jerry Springer never pulled that shit. But to catch you up, Corinne decided to pull Taylor outside to have a bit of a chat. Let me repeat that. . .CORINNE pulled Taylor outside, you’re gonna want that to swish around in your memory. To use a line from Corinne “I literally can’t even”, that’s about how I feel when the two of them sit down to hash it out. Summing it up: Taylor feels that Corinne lacks the emotional intelligence to be Mrs. Viall. Corinne questions whether or not emotional intelligence is even a real thing and believes that Taylor is calling her an idiot and reminds Taylor that she runs a multi-million dollar company. In my re-cap last week, I pointed out that the girls needed to be careful where Corinne is concerned, because if they don’t tip-toe around her broken glass, she is going to run to Nick and pull the bully card. Well, I hate to say I told you so but. . .

This Week On. . .Tonight will give us (1) one-on-one; (1) group date and (1) two-on-one. Now remember when a two-on-one is presented, it’s Nick and the two girls of his choosing, but in the end only one will survive.

It's Reality BXTCHES | The Bachelorette | Weekly Recap on www.bxtchesbeblogging.com

Taylor and Corinne are still going at it and truth? It feels like this conversation has been going on for a fucking week. Thanks ABC, you could’ve ended it all last week, but no. . .someone needed to carry it forward. Unless those two BXTCHES are really going to fight it out and I’m good with either mud or jell-o, then you should have wrapped up the longest and not to mention most boring girl fight in the history of your show (well based on the one complete season I’ve seen). At this point, you can really tell that Taylor is fresh out of her master’s program and hasn’t really had the opportunity to establish much of a client base, because it’s about right here in the war of words where I wouldn’t be surprised if she whipped out a card, handed it to Corinne, and asked her to follow-up with her office next week. The only thing Corinne is hearing is “blah blah blah. . .emotional intelligence. . .blah blah blah. . .idiot” and I’m not even sure Taylor used the word “idiot”, it’s just what Corinne heard. The conversation (I use that term very loosely) quickly goes from Corinne’s emotional intelligence and Taylor calling her an idiot (but didn’t really) to Corinne calling Taylor a bitch for not being outgoing enough in the house. BXTCH side commentary: This is the worse kumbaya, campfire moment EVER. Lots of words are being said without actually saying anything and the mother in me wants to send them both to their room without their phones or nanny. But, if I were to psychoanalyze (thank you Raven) the situation, it seems that Corinne is trying to tweak Taylor in just the right spot, to see if she can cause her to lose control, if anything, just to confirm her claim of Taylor the Bully. There is a lot of “you’re not here for him” going around this marshmallow roast and I hate to play the villain (not really) but who the fuck cares if someone is there for the wrong reasons? Surely if that was the case, then you are now looking even better in the veil, right? I gotta agree with Rachel on this one, and no wonder, she is the adult of the group, just focus on you. Now, unfortunately for Taylor, she has already had her time with Nick, remember she interrupted Danielle L., and since Corinne has yet to talk (or suck) Nick’s ear off, he will get her side first. Once again, Corinne is well on her way to White Girl Wasted when she runs to daddy. . .ahem. . .Nick to tattle and tell him that Taylor is “not nice” and isn’t really there for the end game of being a bride. Nick rewards her courage with a kiss and encourages her to continue to show her maturity. I’m sorry BXTCHES, but we gotta stop the fucking bus right here. If my 36 year old boyfriend has to ever commend and then encourage me for being mature, then he’s not my boyfriend, he’s my dad. If the advice to the women is to just focus on their relationship with Nick, then the advice to Nick should also be to just focus on his relationship with the woman he is currently spotlighting and unless the problem they are having with each other directly involves Nick, then his words of wisdom should be “work it out yourself”. Soon they all gather in the barn, whilst freezing their nipples off, to find out who gets to move on to the next round. Ending the evening with smiles on their faces and shivers in their cooters are: Whitney,  Danielle M., Jasmine, Rachel, Jaimi, Josephine, Vanessa, Alexis, Corinne, and Taylor. That leaves Sarah and Astrid squeezing the peach all on their own. Remember, last week, Kristina got the group date rose and Danielle L. and Raven both received the roses on their one-on-one’s. Nick has now whittled it down to just 13. My top four is still alive and they are all off to New Orleans.

The ladies aren’t in the hotel long before Chris Harrison shows up to give them a rundown of the week. This is where they learn that someone will get a one-on-one, there will be a group date, and then two unlucky BXTCHES will be put together to fight it out to the bitter end or what is better known as the dreaded two-on-one. He leaves the first date card which will reveal the one-on-one date.

One-on-One Date: “Rachel, Where have you beignet all my life?” According to the clue, Nick is the mastermind behind those words. If that is the case, I now know why he is a single man. If not, then ABC you have done it again, Hallmark must be missing out on a hell of a gem. I’m sure whoever it is that’s working tirelessly to come up with these clues must be an animal in the bedroom. How hard would it be to say. . .“Rachel, it’s you and me girl. Meet me in Jackson Square and be sure to bring your appetite. Dress nice and cool because Louisiana weather can get hot and sticky.” There’s just enough innuendo in that message to have her mouth watering and her panties melting, geesh, do I gotta do everything? Just a reminder ABC, I am available. Back to the date. Rachel did receive the first impression rose and their connection has been pretty tight since then, so I’m glad she is up for the one-on-one, since we’ve only really seen them interact on group dates, so them spending the entire day with just one another, will put their chemistry in perspective. I gotta hand it to Nick, love him or hate him, this date is going really well. He even mentions in his confessional that his “chemistry with Rachel is probably the most explosive I (Nick) have at this point with any of the women.” They shop a little, kick back some oysters, visit Cafe du Monde and they even get to join a Second Line and I gotta say Nick had some moves, and if I’m being completely honest, that bodes well for him in the bedroom. #yougowhiteboy The best part of the date is when the girls hear the Second Line and decide to have look and whaddya know. . .they got to see Rachel and Nick jigging it up. While I picked Rachel to land in my final four, I didn’t pick her as the final one. I still stand by that, however, watching them in the streets of New Orleans, looked like you were watching a couple in love on vacation. That is how well they meshed. Everything about the date said “easy”, “comfortable”, “love” while also saying. . .“you better be ready to go all night”. Is it too early to start the campaign for Rachel to be the next Bachelorette? #itstimeABC

The nighttime dinner, that’s not actually dinner, continues the easy flow from the earlier part of the date. The conversation starts immediately with Rachel explaining to Nick about the Second Line, which then leads into Nick asking Rachel about her family and we learn that her parents are still married (30+ years) and that her dad is a Federal Judge (I don’t know if that’s supposed to be capitalized, just trying to be respectful). Where the exchange gets interesting is when Nick asks Rachel if he has to call her dad “sir”. Of course, he says he will regardless and her response is to just not call him Sam. What was compelling to me is the fact that he’s actually talking about meeting her parents. Something to stew over for sure. Anyhow, the discussion then turns to Nick’s insecurities and how the one issue that causes his self-doubt is the fact that he has already asked (two fathers) permission for their daughter’s hand in marriage and both times it ended in a heartbreaking experience for him. Vulnerability was on display, connections were deepened and Nick even expressed to Rachel that he was really into her. Needless to say, she not only received the rose, but the make out session that commenced after accepting the rose, almost had Rachel out of her seat and showing Nick just how Dallas girls ride a horse. I’m sure he rubbed a good one out later that evening, which had me wondering, do you think these ladies are packing some “incentives” in their luggage? I mean, c’mon. . .there is some pretty heated action happening above the waist that is inevitably causing some good times to be stirring below it.

Meanwhile at the mansion. . .All the girls are just sittin’ on pins and needles waiting for the arrival of the group date card AKA who will be stuck dueling it out to take a ride into the sunset. Really? Like those BXTCHES didn’t know that it was going to come down to Taylor and Corinne. I mean, HELL-O, did we forget about Olivia vs. Emily or Chad vs. Alex, they all had issues with one another. BXTCH side commentary: ABC certainly knows how to drum up the drama, but I was a little disappointed that Nick chose those two. First, it was just too obvious. Second, you’re pinning it down to a She Said vs. She Said and who will come out more believable. But, Nick, I shouldn’t have to remind you that you are a 36 year old man, who may be fine as fuck, but you should be old enough to not fall into a trap set by a 24 year old child on the cusp of becoming a woman. If you are already having to sort out a cat fight, send them both home. #aintnobodygottimeforthat So, if you’re someone who still has yet to clue in. . .everyone but Corinne and Taylor will be on the group date.

Group Date: “Till death do us part”. . .well if that’s not cryptic. This date will include: Josephine, Kristina, Alexis, Raven, Jaimi, Vanessa, Danielle M., Whitney, Jasmine, and Danielle L. The girls arrive at Houmas House, which turns out is a haunted plantation. . .so yeah, “death doing us part” seems about right. Upon arrival the girls run to greet Nick, with Josephine jumping (and maybe knocking the breathe out of him a little) into his arms. BXTCH side commentary: What is with the jumping in his arms all the time? Do you think that they discuss it prior to arrival and straws are drawn? I have never jumped into someone’s arms, where I am literally swept off of my feet. It could very well be that I have always been about three feet taller than any man I have been with, so it would be more appropriate, albeit very strange, if they were to actually jump into my arms. I get the excitement, but it just seems like they are sometimes striving for attention, inelegantly so. Their visit starts with an introduction to the house by none other than, Boo, who is a jack of all trades. Not only the caretaker, but the bartender. . .and while I could be enticed to take a tour, alcohol would certainly make it better and we all know that nothing is done on The Bachelor without liquid courage. Tonight it came in the form of a Mint Julep. Boo begins to tell the story of May, who was born in 1840 and died from yellow fever, at the tender age of eight. Unfortunately, she has been searching for her favorite doll and has yet to find it, hence the haunting. Just like a fucking kid. . .can’t find anything, even after searching for 170 years. I guarantee you that damn doll is going to be in the most obvious place. Trust a BXTCH, my kids lose shit all the time and all it takes is about a five minute hunt from me and VOILA it appears. If her mother was the one looking, that haunt would be done in no time. And I can say this, because during the tour, the creepy ass doll is laying right there on her bed. . .proof that kids don’t look for shit! After getting a tour of the plantation and a list of what to do and what not to do. . .they are all pretty freaked out. So, of course that leads them to a Ouija board, because when you’re scared as shit, why not try to conjure some spirits. I don’t know if I really believe in the power of the Ouija, but I wouldn’t recommend fucking with that. . .just in case. I’m a child of the 80’s, I remember the movie Witchboard and that freaked me out enough to keep my fingertips away from that planchette. #hellnaw While playing around with the devil, the lights start to flicker and the atmosphere changes. This would naturally draw one to set out and explore on their own or in this case, Nick taking two of the ladies (Raven and Whitney) with him, it’s as if they have never seen a horror movie before. They quickly discover that the doll is actually missing, not ever occuring to them that, that is how fuckers like Jason and Michael slice up your ass. The others are still at the Ouija and instead of asking the good questions, like “What is really in Corinne’s cheese pasta?”, they go for things like “Who is gonna get the date rose?”. They should’ve popped Witchboard into the DVD player, that would’ve scared them right out of that house and Jasmine would’ve been believing in May then.

Meanwhile at the mansionIt must be nice to live in Corinne’s bubble. We first find her sitting on the edge of the tub, in her bikini, while giving herself a facial. She then pops open the bubbly while enjoying a bubble bath. No one can tell me that she hasn’t brought along at least the Jackrabbit, that BXTCH has too much fun with herself, to leave any part unsatisfied. This brings her to dinner and a meal fit for a girl with a nanny. This fine feast included: Steak/potatoes/salad/mac n’ cheese/wings/dessert and not one bite was shared with Taylor. Who was having a Zen moment with candles and oils. The best part came when Rachel began to give advice. Why was it the best part? You gotta know Rachel was thinking that no matter what happens on the finale of Taylor vs. Corinne, neither of them have the connection with Nick that she does.

Back at the haunted mansion. The only brilliant thing about this date was it allowing Nick to get in some one on one time with each of the girls without being interrupted. Because apparently when you put a Ouija board on the floor and surround it with just the right women, there are better things to do than seek out your future baby daddy. I gotta say, that around the middle of the date, I was hoping that Jason Vorhees would show up and kick start the process of elimination. Oh, good and plenty. . .this date was just too fucking much. Some of these girls are really starting to grate on a BXTCHES nerves. Now, I like (or maybe liked) Danielle L., but when she sits down with Nick and gushes over him like he is Baby Jesus, “I literally can’t even”. She AGAIN tells him how she can see herself falling in love with him. And with the two sentences that she uses to convey this message, she used the work “like”, like 57 times. Why is it so hard to just. . .talk. I’ll help you along. “What do you do for a living?” OR “Do you cook?” OR “What is your go to, I need to sing at the top of my lungs, song?” OR “If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?” OR “When you give head, do you like to gives the balls a little tickle or put em’ in your mouth and suck on em’ a bit?” Ask anything that will force you to learn more about the one you’re hoping to grow old with. Because the reality is at this point, you should be able to see yourself falling in love with him and if you can’t, bow out, it ain’t gonna happen. So again I ask #doyoutickleorsuck? Nick uses his time with Danielle M. to try and get closer to her and both of them confess (not to each other) that while their one-on-one was strong, they haven’t felt the closeness with one another since that date. Oh, my gracious. Our favorite Arkansawyer is up next and even though the words are flowing and conversation is good, she then goes and puts her Converse clad foot right into her southern made mouth. Yep, she did it. . .she slipped and told Nick that the moment she fell in love with him was when he sang “Kiss the Girl” from The Little Mermaid. Yes, you BXTCHES read that right. She said “FELL IN LOVE”, it is a good song though. Oh, Hoxie. I’m sure it was a slip of the tongue and girl, you did good when he tried to halt the discussion and you just kept on talking over him. When all else fails, keep talking, you may be able to fit both feet in your mouth. I guess Nick did rekindle whatever it was he had with Danielle M., because she is walking away with the rose. BXTCH side commentary: We have got to talk about this fuckin’ date. First, I think it became painfully clear that Nick is not in his element during a group date. To say he’s awkward would be kind. I don’t know if it’s because too many beautiful women at once give him hives, but adding in a haunted house, did not soothe things. It’s almost as if he tongue is tied, well when he’s not tying his tongue to one of the ladies. Of all the things that New Orleans has to offer. . .that was the best you guys could do? You could’ve taken a haunted tour around the city. That would’ve at least incorporated some cajun culture. You could have visited the St. Louis Cathedral, I’m sure some of those ladies would’ve done well with some confession time. Hell, you could have even just walked and soaked in everything that is New Orleans. But instead, y’alls asses are on a floor trying to get a Ouija board to tell you if Nick comes out of this thing engaged. What the fuck, ABC? Nick is already having a tough time trying to sell himself as a believable Bachelor, help a brother out. He took ten steps forward with Rachel, but about 112 steps backwards with that ridiculous date. And yes, it was very weird to watch.

Two-on-One: “Corinne and Taylor, meet me in the bayou.” What a clue. Let’s get on with this shitshow. The ladies take a ride through the swamp, because nothing says “please pick me to love forever” like hair that has been ridden hard by the Louisiana humidity. For the love of Monica Bing and Barbados, has anyone been to Louisiana, you’re clothes stick to you. Did we think a swamp was going to make it sexier? Regardless, that is where they meet up with Nick and once again, an escapee (this time Taylor) runs into Nick’s arms, while wrapping her legs around his waist. I’m quite certain, her and Corinne did not plan that out. They meet up with a voodoo priestess, who introduces them to a tarot card reader. What started out as a three way read, ended quickly because the energy was too tense, so that puts Taylor in the hot seat first and either this woman was that good at her gift or someone slipped her some notes prior. This convenience allowed Corinne to get first dibs at Nick. So, Corinne did what she seems to do really well. . .pussy blinded Nick (more on that later). She proceeds to tell Nick that she has been emotionally attacked by Taylor and that Taylor has called her stupid. She also tells Nick that Taylor is a different person with Nick than she is without him. When Nick gets his time with Taylor, he confronts the situation. Unfortunately, Taylor used the power of her brain and not her pussy when defending herself. . .and that was her downfall. Meanwhile, Corinne is busy asking the reader for a voodoo doll. When Taylor gets back to Corinne, she calls her out on her lies, but in the end, it was all worthless because Corinne winds up arm in arm with Nick and Taylor is left with the gators. . .or so we think. It’s when nighttime arrives and Nick and Corinne go out for their non-dinner, that Taylor decides she may be going home, but Nick needs to know the truth about Corinne. Between you and me. . .I don’t really think Nick cares whether or not Corinne is a liar, after all, it’s hard to lie when your mouth is full of dick and you’re trying to figure out if you should tickle or suck. If you’re beside yourself with anticipation with what happens next, well join the fucking club, because the one thing that ABC is consistent with is this “To Be Continued. . .” crap, so we’re stuck waiting till next week before we can witness Taylor channel Chad and hopefully show Corinne what “signs of intelligency”, really means. But I’m sure it’s just gonna be a lot of “I never said that” and “un huh” and “nanny nanny foo foo’s”, you know the stuff mature women discuss.

The best part about this episode was Rachel. The worse part? Everything else. I’m still not anti-Nick, even though after a little fun on Google, I did find out that he and Kaitlyn did a little mattress dancing at the end of a one-on-one date, evidently all instigated by her. I’m not quite sure yet how I feel about that. It’s not like they’re gathering around to have Bible study, so I feel like I shouldn’t be shocked. Actually, who am I kidding. If I was young enough, single enough, skinny enough, and gorgeous enough. . .I can’t say with honesty, that I would be the only one warming up my sheets.

It’s time to put this whole Taylor/Corinne debacle to bed. I’m sure there was a collective gasp across America when Nick handed that rose to Corinne. But, were we really shocked? I can’t say for sure that Taylor even had a shot to come out of this thing hand in hand with Nick. But, if she did, she fucked it up herself. I admire her for being so young and ambitious. The BXTCH has a master’s degree at 23 years old. But, I would ask her, as smart as you are, why are you seeking the ever after with a 36 year old? And I’m not giving the cold shoulder to Nick, #ageaintnothingbutanumber, but she seems to have an unlimitless road ahead of her, there is plenty of time for a husband and babies later. I can say this because it is apparent she is constantly in counselor mode. Her career means something to her. Let me talk straight to you for a minute, Taylor. You’ve analyzed everything from Corinne to the type of woman you are certain Nick wants. By doing this, you removed any spontaneity from the relationship you were trying to build. Now it’s time for me to put on my counselor hat. Girl, you are fighting some shit from your past. I reckon some true bitches were quite cruel to you, hence your issues with Corinne. If you ever want to have a man worship you (and you deserve no less), then you are going to have to stop allowing your past to dictate your future. You can’t take notes on love. You can’t even take notes on lust. You just gotta let it unfold the way it’s supposed to. Corinne always had the upper hand, because Nick is using his dick to guide him. I ain’t mad at him, if I had 15 hot as fuck men vying for whatever attention I could give, my puss would be like a beacon of light. I have no idea who it is Nick will get down on one knee for, but I know it won’t be a 23 year old, it won’t even be a 24 year old. Corinne is fun, Corinne is going to suck your dick under the table at a restaurant and will probably let you fuck her while your best friend looks on. While Corinne may scream adventure, she does not scream “in sickness and in health” and “till death do us part”. Taylor. . .Nick was not ever going to be the man for you. Go get yours girl.

ABC, I need better. I don’t want to see Nick become hated (more than he already is) and that’s the road he’s headed down. Our mouths watered and our loins quivered when you dangled Luke as the next Bachelor and from what I understand, y’all kinda fucked him over. Make this season worth it. Right now, we are all having to turn away from the screen. I’m embarrassed for some of these girls. I get the ratings hunger and the need to make it all interesting, but I think y’all should sit down with Corinne and review Webster’s, because there is a misunderstanding of words all the way around. I’m okay with villains, but everybody needs the fantasy of the book boyfriend. We tune in so we can yell shit at our spouses like “Why didn’t you think of this on our first date?!” AND “I want a do-over!” We tune in because even though we know he can’t hear us, we’re gonna continue to scream our opinions at the screen, because we obviously know what’s best. We tune in because we’re fucking girls and even though we can be BXTCHES, deep down we still believe in fairy tales and happy endings. The puzzle pieces are there, it’s your job to make sure they fit together.

Dear Raquel, I would like to use this time and tell you that I hope Corinne isn’t a real live reference for your nanny abilities. Because while I’m sure you’re a very lovely person, if she is representative of your work, you may need to seek another career path.

One of the other best parts about the episode was the Enchanted Evening with Josh Gad and Luke Evans. It’s time to step up the game ABC.

Remember, The Bachelor airs on ABC Mondays at 8pm EASTERN | 7pm CENTRAL.

It's Reality BXTCHES | The Bachelorette | Weekly recap on www.bxtchesbeblogging.comIt's Reality BXTCHES | The Bachelorette | Weekly recap on www.bxtchesbeblogging.com

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: As you know, well, as you should know, it’s been a very long two weeks waiting for tonight. In hindsight, I should’ve started a low-carb diet at the beginning of the two weeks because if I would’ve know how difficult the past fourteen days were going to be, I could’ve went all out with the misery and lost a few pounds in the process. On another note, if missing The Bachelorette brings me this much anguish, I really need to step up my parenting game, geesh.

Two weeks ago on. . .Let’s just call the last episode what it was, The ChadBear Show. He and Alex got the two-on-one date and Alex ran to Jojo and ratted Chad out. Jojo didn’t like what Chad had to say and she sent him packing. The last we see of Chad is him hiking his way back to the house. And this week on. . .

We kick this week off with a celebration. The removal of Chad’s suitcase gives the guys all the clues they need that the beast is not returning and Alex did his job (their words) and Chad is gone. The guys, minus Alex who is still with Jojo, gather ’round outside with James T. on the guitar and Wells with the protein powder, to bid farewell to the ChadBear. If you think that sounds corny, you should’ve seen it happen. They each get a handful of protein powder and throw it in the air. I’m not sure why I ponder how so many good looking individuals could be single and looking for their ever after on T.V., they answer that question week after week. You guys are literally throwing fucking protein powder in the air because the guy who hurt your feelings got eliminated and you wonder why no one will attach their ball to your chain? I’m embarrassed for you guys.

We knew Chad wasn’t gone and him showing back up at the house was anti-climatic to say the least. Once again I would like to thank ABC for taking us right to the brink of the promise of pleasure and yanking it away as if we were the ones who have misbehaved, it’s like reality tv blueballs. He made some sort of explanation to the guys regarding the date and the outcome. Jordan offers apologies and wants one from Chad as well. Chad refuses to offer his apologies and Evan still wants his shirt replaced. Then the whole ordeal is over. In the end, I hope Jojo sees that Chad really wasn’t all that crazy. I don’t think he made the best decisions, but I also think that the guys provoked him as much as he threatened them.

Once Alex finishes up his date with Jojo, which is nothing for me to really write about, because it wasn’t that great, he arrives to the house a hero. And while that word may be a bit strong, the welcome the guys gave him was super douchey, over the top. They smashed cupcakes in his face for crying out loud. Perfectly good, edible cupcakes-just wasted! But the guys should’ve been careful of what they were wishing for, because with enemy #1 out of the house, someone will have to fill that role and the little sister (my little sister) and Wells said it best when they said “They no longer have a common enemy” Chad was the one who ultimately bonded the guys together and now that he’s gone. . .

It’s time for the cocktail party and another round of who can kiss Jojo’s ass the best. Chase gets the first crack and he somehow gets some KnockerBalls and they have a bit of fun, not the kind of fun I would want to have in an evening dress and heels-but Chase gets an A+ for creativity. Robby steals Jojo away and I think they have some heated chemistry, I just don’t know if Robby gives me the feels yet. He’s taking things a little too far with the “I’m falling for you” and he believes that he is miles ahead in his relationship with Jojo than the other guys are. I guess he has yet to see her with Jordan. All of the guys witness Robby laying one on Jojo and that really shakes the confidence in the guys. James F. writes her a poem, which was really sweet, but his moment is cut short when Alex interrupts and takes her away (insert eye roll right here). I don’t think I like Alex too much. He does nothing but kiss her ass every time he is with her, so I suppose he’s playing the game well and truthfully, I could be a bit over dramatic. Kudos to Daniel for telling Luke to hold his horses a bit, he ain’t done. Of course, when Luke does get his chance he turns it on by telling Jojo that he has done nothing but think of her since their date and he is falling for her, and not just falling for her, but the falling for her that makes his heart beat a lot faster when he’s with her and when he’s not with her but thinking about her-so, that may be a lot of words, but they are straight from the hotties mouth. I do think Jojo is feeling the same about Luke, so good job cowboy. I don’t understand Evan at all. He is not aggressive enough to insist on time alone with Jojo, even when Luke asks him if he’s had a turn and he says “no”, Luke tells him that he better go because Luke was going back for seconds and Evan stands there just being a weenie. I’m one baffled BXTCH where Evan is concerned. Jordan does his thing and swoops in and pushes her against the wall, not aggressively but in a “I’ve read a bit too many books and maybe thought I was about to see a scene play out right in front of me” kinda wayA wall that the guys were just on the other side of and Jordan does a great job reminding Jojo of why she may be keeping the “former pro-football player” around. Does Evan ever get his shot? Nope. Chris shows up and it’s time for the. . .

It's Reality BXTCHES | The Bachelorette | Weekly Recap on www.bxtchesbeblogging.com

Several of the gents are a bit worried because they either got zero time with Jojo or their time was very limited. Remember our rose holders (if that’s a thing) are: Jordan, Alex, and Luke. When there are no more roses to be had, James F. and Daniel are left to pack their bags and try their luck elsewhere. So, that means that Jojo is headed to Uruguay and taking with her the final eleven guys: Derrick, Robbie, Chase, Wells, Grant, Vinnie, James T. and even Evan the Weenie (I know, I was shocked too). And we are headed to South America.

This week will give us (2) one-on-one dates and (1) group date.

ONE-ON-ONE Date: Once the guys arrive at their hotel suite and good job ABC, that was a helluva suite, they go right for the date card. “Jordan, let’s seal the date.” Jordan gets ready and is off, much to the chagrin of the others in the house. Now, I’m not sure why they’re so upset, Jordan has not had a one-on-one yet, but I suppose tensions are running a bit high. The date kicks off with Jojo, Jordan, a yacht, and lots of making out. They get a little time in the ocean to get to “know one another”. The nighttime brings out Jordan’s tender side, he even confesses that he is falling in love with Jojo-yes, another one-what has it been, a month tops and guys are already “falling”, someone needs to bring Chad back ASAP. Once at the “non dinner”, Jojo confronts Jordan with something that’s been tickling the back of her thoughts. So, here’s the deal. Jojo met a girl in Dallas, before filming, that dated Jordan on and off. Now, I should probably tell you, if I haven’t already, that Jojo knew prior to filming that Jordan was going to be on the show. According to her (well, the internet), the info was leaked (he is the brother of Aaron Rodgers after all) and that was all she knew. Anyway, she met this girl and according to the mystery woman, Jordan was not all in with her and Jojo brings this up because she needs to know if Jordan is for real when he says he is looking to wife up. Clearly this is not the convo Jordan thought he would be having on this date and you can see the uneasiness when she brings it up. I’m assuming he knows exactly who Jojo is talking about because a name is never mentioned. His retort is, during that time he was focused on being the best football player he could be and he basically never made her a priority and he admitted to being an awful boyfriend. When Jojo asks him if he cheated on her, he was very quick with the “no”, although he did admit that while he didn’t physically cheat on her, he did talk to other girls more than he should. Our boy recovers quick though because he almost immediately brings up his pastor and you know when the church is brought into it, shit gets real. His pastor told a young Jordan that “Don’t say you love somebody, unless you’re willing to put a ring on their finger.” That should’ve been the song you wrote Beyonce. Jordan does good because he admits his faults with that past relationship and what he’s learned from it. The QB is ready to put a ring on it and Jojo is convinced and he gets the rose. I’m telling you BXTCHES, Jojo is feeling it and by it, I mean Jordan. Look out guys, Jojo does confess that her date with Jordan was one of the best dates of her life.

Meanwhile, back at the hotel: Okay, these guys are seriously upset that Jordan got picked. As Wells puts it “He got the first impression rose, he got the group date rose. That’s why everyone considers Jordan the front-runner is ’cause Jordan had a very strong relationship with her without even having a one-on-one.” Once in their confessionals, the guys start to pick Jordan apart, again, Chad was the common enemy and now that he’s gone. . .well, we knew it was coming. Vinnie has his own barbershop set up and the guys are hanging out, and while Vinnie takes a little off the top for Alex, Wells picks up a tabloid. Derrick reads the dirt to the guys, which basically accuses Jojo of getting back with her ex (the one that disrupted her Dallas date with Ben) then dumping him again when she was offered The Bachelorette. I have to just ask-how in the fuck did the guys get their hands on this magazine? Was it intentional? I’m confused because I was under the impression that the contestants on this show, have no true access to the outside world, in a manner of speaking. Regardless, they read the article and it has them going full on, hot topic round table discussion. The article was written by Jojo’s ex, Chad, and claims that while The Bachelor was filming, they were sneaking around together and she is still in love with him, which then sparks the guys to ponder whether or not she is and if she is, then why are they even there? Christ on a fucking cracker, pull out the Cosmos and start braiding each other’s hair, are you kidding me with this shit!? Even though the date card arrives right smack in the middle of their “pillow fight”, not really, but if the pussy fits. . .but no one is super excited, you know-because of the article her ex wrote slandering her-that he was probably paid a handsome amount of $$$ to do-by a tabloid magazine-yeah, that has them all down in the dumps. Just break out the Midol already.

Still at the hotel: Jojo is in her interview/confessional, just going on about how great her date was and how great she is feeling, when the prick interviewing her hands her the magazine. Now, maybe Jojo knew in advance that this was coming and she is a really good actress, but once she sees the article and then learns that the guys, her guys (her words) have seen the article, she kinda breaks down. This sends her to the guys suite so she can set the record straight. In the meantime, the guys are filling Jordan in on the situation with the ex and after they have sat and thought about it, they seem to be more #teamjojo than #teamdouchebagexboyfriendwhoonlywantsmoney. No guy can really turn their back on a crying woman, right? And while both Jordan and Robby have both said that they were falling in love with her and Luke has said that he is falling for her, not one of them or even the other eight guys in the room offer to walk Jojo, who is obviously distraught, to the elevator. Every single one of those guys, including Evan the weenie who hasn’t had hardly any alone time with Jojo, does the chivalrous thing and gives her a hand to hold. Even if you wanted to just take advantage of the occassion-but, you’re falling in love? I believe we may be reading from two different dictionaries.

Group Date: Luke, Derrick, Chase, Evan, James, Vinnie, Grant, Wells, and Alex

“I can’t sand to be away from you.” ABC keep the clever ones coming. The guys find themselves on sand dunes, maybe, I don’t know, it’s lots of sand and they are going to sand surf. Yay! We get to watch Evan face plant, woohoo! The surfing ends early when the rain starts coming down. We get to the cocktail portion of the date and Luke gets his time first. Basically, he tells Jojo that the magazine is absolute shit (my words) and everything she needed to hear at that time. Their chemistry would put a high school science class to shame. All guys seem to be hitting it off with Jojo, with little awkwardness. While Jojo is away with whoever the lucky fella is, Luke begins to discuss the awkwardness of group dates with the rest of the guys, this seems to set something off in Derrick. I think he is feeling a little insecure in where his progress with Jojo is, he doesn’t think that it’s picked up much since their one-on-one and it’s starting to shake his confidence. When he interrupts Vinnie’s time, he kinda lays it all out there, which works, because he gets the rose, with Jojo basically saying that she is giving the rose to someone who needs the reassurance, which is more fuel for for these guys to use against Derrick, who in defense of Derrick, never mentions to Jojo that he needs to be reassured. When Alex gets his moment to shine, he rambles on about how great this is and how you can never get this kind of thing through texting one another and then he lays down this bomb-“Yeah, it’s as real as it’s ever been in my life.”-Stop the fucking car-this is the realest? You’re 26 years old and the realest relationship you have had is with a woman, who is currently in a relationship with ten other dudes AND she is someone you have only known for a month, tops AND you have yet to really have alone time with her, but it’s the realest? Your relationship with Jordan is deeper right now than the one you have with Jojo. And you were calling Chad out? To speak “Alex” for a moment-“c’mon bro?”. Alex, if you are being 100% truthful and this semi-relationship that you have with Jojo is the “realest”, then you need to bow out of this charade and re-evaluate your life, because you at least deserve a girl who is giving you everything you are giving her and this is no way knocking down Jojo, I’m very much a fan of #teamjojo, but you should certainly experience the real life way that relationships come together before trying it ABC’s way. On a side note-I do think that Alex was saying whatever he thought he needed to in order to get the group date rose. You have to know what time it is BXTCHES-that’s right, it’s time for some. . .

BXTCH Side Commentary: I’m about to be all over the place, just go with me. First, let me address Alex. I have never been Go Alex!, but I haven’t really rooted against him either, until tonight. He seems to have some sort of double standard happening, that is really beginning to piss a BXTCH off. He ratted on Chad and told Jojo that Chad threatened others in the house, but never once mentioned that he threatened to beat Chad’s ass as well and this got Chad eliminated, when everyone declares Alex some sort of dragon slayer, it’s really just by default that he got to stick around (thanks again, little sister) because if Chad would’ve said the right things and even if he would’ve lied to Jojo and denied the allegation that Alex used against him, Chad would be in the house and Alex would not. In fact, he wanted to show Jojo Chad’s true colors and wanted to egg him on, but used Evan the weenie to do it (during the uncomfortable sex session show). Then during his alone time with her, he spews some bullshit about how real his relationship is with her, but then later in his confessional basically says that he was vulnerable and if that doesn’t get him the rose, he doesn’t know what else to do. But now he’s pissed because Derrick was equally vulnerable and got the rose and since Jojo used the word “reassurance” that makes Derrick weak? C’mon Alex, you are better than that-well, I hope you are. I cannot go any further without addressing the “falling in love” that has plagued these guys. Okay, I get it, you guys are in a special circumstance, Jojo is the only girl as far as the eye can see. She’s beautiful, seems pretty charming, good sense of humor, but after a month you’re falling in love? If it was only you and her-secluded from society-for a straight month, I might still question whether you are really in love. But, you guys are with ten other men (more prior to this episode) and your time is divided and not even equally, and you can say you are falling in love?! This blows my mind. I’ve said this before, and I know that these episodes are edited, so we see what ABC wants us to see, but even given that info, you still don’t really know squat about one another. For example, the ex-boyfriend. If you guys knew anything about her at all, you wouldn’t have been worried about that article and her feelings for that asshat. You would also know that after Ben, she befriended him because she didn’t want to see him hurting. That doesn’t make you raise an eyebrow? And not that every relationship hinges on sex, well, okay it hinges a lot on sex and that type of chemistry. In the last episode, Jojo confessed that sex is a very important part of any partnership (sorry, but the word “relationship” is wearing me out) and I couldn’t agree more. I get it, the sexual tension is there every time some of y’all lay eyes on her (Jordan, we can all feel it), and while I’m sure Jojo looks great minus her clothes, what else do you know. What if, she doesn’t like to be on top? What if she can only fuck with the lights off? What if when she goes down on you she only licks it like a lollipop should be licked (thank you Salt n Pepa), no sucking of any kind. All I’m saying is this-it’s okay to have feelings for her, it’s okay to be hopeful that love isn’t too far off, but to declare love after a month and in this type of situation, is complete bonkers. Robby, you even said that saying you love someone is a hard thing for you to say, you went on about how you ended a 3 1/2 year relationship, but you’re feeling it already enough to say it? Bullshit. At least Chad had the right frame of mind when it came to his feelings for Jojo.

Meanwhile, back at the hotel: The only two people not on the group date are Jordan and Robby and we find them getting facials and pedicures. While I could certainly use this time to maybe joke and say things like-“I thought we were watching The Bachelorette not The Bachelor” OR “See, I wasn’t far off with the hair braiding and cosmos remark, was I?” I’ll refrain, because I am a BXTCH who believes that it’s important for a guy to keep up appearances-hear that hubby? There’s no shame in getting those feet rubbed out, not by me, but by someone you pay. Now, these two guys do take the time to discuss who may get the group date rose and the why’s and how’s of that happening. Annnddd, we are back to hair braiding. With Robby being the only one without a date thus far, the one-on-one date card arrives and “Love is within our reach”.

ONE-ON-ONE Date: Since love is within their reach, let’s get this one-on-one with Robby started. They meet up at the beach and then take a trip through town, where they actually bite into a sandwich, it looks like just one bite though, but it’s a start. The daytime portion of there date ends on a cliff. And in a metaphorical (but very real), Bachelorette moment, they jump off the cliff-hand in hand. She also took that same metaphorical (but also very real) leap with Ben and look where we are today. The nighttime date takes them out to dinner and Robby tells Jojo the story of his friend since childhood passing away and how it sorta forced him to re-evaluate his life decisions and one of those being, him breaking up with his long time girlfriend. So, once again we have Jojo shedding some tears (it was a sad story) and we have Robby confessing his love to Jojo, even though he feels that type of confession is not one to take lightly. And Jojo does what every one does when someone puts their love on the table like that-she says “thank you”, that BXTCH is the Bachelorette for a reason. Of course, his continuous surprises and his “I love you” made Jojo’s “heart very happy” and she offers him the rose. Robby recognizes that Jojo didn’t say those three words back, but she did give him the rose which, according to him, is the equivalent to an “I love you”. Oh good grief, what is the name of Olivia’s book? They end the night like all first dates should end (minus the I Love You), with fireworks and who doesn’t love a good firework show. Oh, the metaphorical dates ABC, y’all are really deep.

Meanwhile, back at the hotel: Jordan is leading a power discussion of how the rose ceremony may play out, which is rich coming from him, considering he is safe from elimination. I guess throwing a football isn’t his only strength-or weakness-depending on how you look at it, because he is doing some super math with how many roses there could be for Jojo to hand out. With only eleven guys remaining and three with roses already, leaving eight guys in the water without life jackets, I think any 1st grader could’ve done that math and gotten an A+, but good job QB. Once again, these guys are really upset that Derrick got the group date rose and I have no clue why, even though Alex describes Derrick’s rose as a “pity rose”, which I guess is a better word selection than “dude” or “bro”, so maybe we are making progress. Alex and Chase then question Derrick on why or what he said to Jojo that convinced her to give him the rose. They are spending so much energy on this topic. I’m starting to think that Alex needs to be in politics, because he can really make a mountain out of a molehill. They should really be questioning Jojo on why she gave the rose to Derrick. I’m just bummed that Chase got in on Alex’s bullshit and I’m starting to think that Alex is the real villain.

The cocktail party starts off all doom and gloom, with each guy professing to the camera how important time with Jojo is. Derrick is really getting the “Mean Girl” (his words) vibe from Chase, Jordan, Robby, and Alex and decides to call them outside for a friendly, male bonding chat. He calls them out on their clique and even though he is only speaking from his behalf, he knows the rest of the guys are feeling it too. The guys were not very welcoming of this type of conversation and they end it quickly. Luke being the inquisitive rancher he is, would like to know what was happening, Jordan fills him in, Wells is the diplomatic one and agrees with Derrick without really agreeing with Derrick. The bitchfest gets cut short when Chris arrives to inform the guys that there will be no kisses, no talks, no one-on-one time with the bride in waiting because Jojo has decided to forgo getting tipsy and just to get on with it and put some guys out.

The guys without roses are freaking out since there will not be any alone time. But really, when all the roses are handed out, there was really no shock. The guys know who has the connection with her and who doesn’t. Jojo shows up and gets right to it. Of course, Derrick, Jordan, and Robby are all going to survive another week, as well as: Luke, Chase, Alex, James T., and Wells. We say goodbye to Grant, Vinnie, and Evan. This rose ceremony seemed to hit Jojo hard, especially Vinnie’s departure-but the quest for matrimony must go on.

My final three pick continues to be: Jordan, Chase, and Luke.

The Bachelor/ette | Quotes of the show | www.bxtchesbeblogging.com

“We’re taking a bunch of his protein powder that’s left over and spreading those protein ashes. I’m super happy. Sayonara Chad.” -Evan

“I just wasn’t the type of guy for her and fair enough. She obviously going for personality and obviously my personality was [bleep]. If this was based solely on looks, there’s a good chance I’d still be here. My body had nothing to do with this because obviously she doesn’t care about that because she picked guys like Evan and Wells, you know? These guys aren’t on my level, bottom line. No one’s on my level. I know I’m a great catch. I’ve had more experiences than all of these guys have combined. But there’s millions of people in the world and you know, the chance of her falling for me, I got a better chance of getting struck by lightning. . .while. . .you know. . .shaving my face.” -Daniel

“I’m in love, I’m in love, I’m in love!” -Robby

Bachelor(ette) Re-Cap | www.bxtchesbeblogging.com

Once again, what kind of make-up are we using on this show? Jojo jumps off of a cliff-into the water-and the only difference is her hair is now wet. No mascara smudges, no lipstick smears. I walk out in the stifling heat for 2 minutes and my fucking make-up is running down my neck. That make-up is the shit you need to be advertising ABC.

Is it just me or is this season eerily similar to Ben’s season? At the end of tonight’s episode, they of course, showed scenes from next week and then scenes from what appears to be the finale. Once again, the final rose seems a bit controversial, with Jojo not sure. Things seem to be developing a little in the same manner as they did last season (Ben). Either it’s a sheer coincidence or we’re running out of ideas. Let’s take this bus down a different path ABC, I know there’s some creative juices somewhere in there.

Maybe it’s the mom in me, but I cannot handle this, titty baby, tattle telling bullshit. Alex, if you can’t charm Jojo all on your own, then step down. You seem to want to win Jojo by getting other guys eliminated instead of earning her love just because you’re the right guy. You seem to be more of a bully than Chad ever was. And it seems to only get worse the more into the season we move. James T. is going to rat on Jordan, I think someone is going to rat on Robby. C’mon guys, you undermine her intelligence when you feel you need to “inform” her of another guys “true intentions”. She’s smart enough to figure it out on her own and you should let her. I don’t want to get all “Chicken Soup for the Soul” on you, but I promise, if it’s meant to be, it will be.
