Reaper’s Fall (Reaper’s MC Series, Book #5) by Joanna Wylde

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: By now, you should know what it is I’m going to say. Yes, you need to have already fell in love with books 1-4 in this series BEFORE Painter moves in. In every book, foundations are laid. . .foundations that give us glimpses into subsequent books. Reaper’s Fall in no different. I do believe you can enjoy this book all by itself, but I also think you will be doing yourself a huge disservice if you choose to go down that route. You BXTCHES have been warned.

We get to enjoy Reaper’s Fall through the POV’s of both Painter and Melanie.

We got to meet Painter from the very beginning of this series, when Em was all caught up in him. We were introduced to Melanie in Picnic and London’s story, she was Jessica’s BFF and the one that London took in when Melanie’s mom took off. While there was an attraction between Painter and Melanie in Reaper’s StandPainter certainly realized that she was a little on the jailbait side and stayed away. That didn’t mean he didn’t think about her though. After his arrest (again this happened in book #4, Reaper’s Stand) and while away at prison, Painter and Melanie become pen pals. He continues to fall for her and she has already fallen for the biker outlaw.

Reaper’s Fall starts “current day” and back tracks. So we learn immediately that there is some sort of romantic history between Painter and Melanie because the subject of their daughter gets brought up during an altercation between Painter and Melanie’s date. The back track portion is what takes us through their very tumultuous journey.

When Painter is released from prison, one would think that a hook-up between him and Melanie would be a foregone conclusion. However, Painter thinks that the best thing for the both of them is if he stays away and Melanie is receiving zero support from Jessica. Think back to Reaper’s Stand and you’ll remember Jessica in a sexual triangle with Painter and another member of the club, and while Painter may have saved Jessica’s life, she is not his number one fan.
Chiropractors know that a strong core is essential for a man to face proper erections. icks.org buy bulk viagra Goji berry needs to be eaten fresh if possible but since there is a big time confidence crushing where it crushes the self-esteem, confidence and entire family of a man. cheap viagra icks.org This is because one pill of either levitra 20mg canada, or it’s generic Tadalafil, enables a man to maintain an erection for up to 36-hours. There could be other reasons cialis tadalafil generic as well.
So, after some back and forth and some avoidance, Painter and Melanie decide to just be friends. Needless to say, the friendship thing doesn’t last long and before we know it, they are taking their relationship between the sheets. Club business takes Painter out of town for weeks at a time and when he proves that club life will always take precedence over his relationship with Melanie, Melanie decides that she has had enough and ends things. Oh. . .and she is of course prego when this occurs.

Once again, the thing (one of many) that I adore about MC novels is the camaraderie that surrounds the cast. While I think it sometimes sucks that we don’t get to re-visit some of the characters we previously fell in love with or they aren’t making very lengthy cameos, Reaper’s Fall gives us just enough. With Painter, we get the intense drama that surrounds a MC, with Melanie we get the “girl side”, we get to watch her relationship with Jessica go from that of two teens to that of two women, we get to watch her develop a relationship with Em and Kit. That relationship alone is worth the book, those two are fucking hilarious. I adore how the feel of family just flows through the entirety of this book. Job well done.

Thank you Ms. Wylde, you sure know how to curl a BXTCHES toes, bet you thought you’d never hear that, huh? Our boy Painter is really masterful at giving it to Melanie. There’s some serious hate sex outdoors, there’s body painting sex, there’s even some redecorating sex that has some thinking a murder took place, not just the pussy kind. They really cover the spectrum, head to toe, wall to wall. If you didn’t fall for Painter prior to the deep dick, you will have after.

There you have it. Joanna Wylde has done it once again. She sucks you in and really forces you to say glued to the story unfolding before you while convincing you to fall in love with someone who you previously thought of as an asshole. That’s right, Painter is going to weasel his cocky little self right into your heart. As with all of her heroines, she gives us another fiercely independent spirit in Melanie. If you haven’t given the Reaper’s a piece of yourself, you should dive in right away. Don’t worry, this BXTCH would never steer you wrong.Bxtches Be Reading5 Star Read for Bxtches Be ReadingFavorite Quotes TagReaper's Fall (Reaper's MC Series, Book #5) by Joanna Wylde | Review on www.bxtchesbeblogging.com

Devil’s Game (Reaper’s MC Series, Book #3) by Joanna Wylde

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: Devil’s Game is the third book in the Reaper’s Motorcycle Club series and just like any great MC series, the foundation begins to be poured in the first book and continues to build in subsequent books. Now, if you’re someone who likes to read out of order, heed the following warning. If you haven’t yet read Ruger and Sophie’s story in Reaper’s Legacy (book #2), then you need to do so BEFORE moving on to Em’s story. There is a storyline in that book that carries over into this book. I know a lot of times these books can be read as stand alones, this is not one of them. So, don’t bitch about it, just do it. Trust me, Ruger is hot and his story is pretty damn worth it.

Devil’s Game will be told through the POV’s of both Em and Hunter/Liam.

Let’s backtrack a bit. I’m sure if you finished book #2, then you are well aware of who Hunter/Liam is, but for the sake of refreshing your memory, we’re gonna flashback a bit. But for those rebels out there who have decided to go against the grain and read these books out of order, there are certainly some spoilers ahead. Remember in the beginning of book #2, when Ruger was moving Sophie out of Seattle, there was a guy across the hall that Noah was hiding from and if you recall, that guy was an ex Devil’s Jack. Also if you recall, Ruger and Horse let the Devil’s Jack MC come and clean up their own mess. Well, Hunter was one of the Jack’s that was sent. In an effort to not confuse you, Hunter is Liam, Liam is Hunter. So, from this point on, we shall call him Hunter, since that is his MC name and all.

Hunter has been assigned the job of collecting info on Emmy Lou Hayes. She is Picnic’s daughter and we have been getting to know her since way back in book #1. Hunter reaches out to Em (as Liam, of course) and they strike up a friendship. In fact, you may remember some of that from the second book. . .when Kimber and Sophie encouraged Em to meet up with Liam and hopefully turn in her V-card in the process. Now, Em has always thought that Painter was going to be her one. That all changes when she walks in on him taking on a club whore right on the bathroom sink. And that is the catalyst that speeds things up with Hunter. If you have read Reaper’s Legacy, then you know that it is Hunter and Skid who kidnap Sophie and Em. In that story, it was told from Sophie’s POV, so as the reader we had no idea what was happening on Em’s end, even though we knew something was happening based on the noise that was coming out of her room. In Devil’s Game, we get all the details that we need to put pieces together. From before the kidnapping when Hunter was wooing Em, to the actual kidnapping, to what happened in Em’s room during the kidnapping. Not only are you going to get it through Em’s perspective, but we also get Hunter’s as well.

While the main storyline in Devil’s Game is that of Hunter and Em, there is an underlying one as well, and that is Em getting out on her own. We get to meet Kit in this book. She is the younger sister of Em and the one who stands up to Picnic and really does as she pleases, making Em envious. So, after the kidnapping, Em decides that it’s time to get out of Coeur d’Alene once and for all and start the process of becoming her own person. Surely, you can see where this is headed.

We already know that Em saved Hunter and Skid from being killed by the Reaper’s. And while part of that reason was to save the truce between the two clubs, the other part was Em just not wanting her club killing Hunter, because kidnapper or not, she has feeling for him. And these feelings that they begin to feel for one another is not only going to be a huge uphill battle, but could come down to being a matter of life and death. And people on both ends aren’t afraid of speaking up and letting both Em and Hunter know how dangerous it will be if they decide to get involved with one another.

The postpartum process canada viagra buy is the period of time.
I’ve said once before that these books get better the further the series progresses and this book just proved that theory. Now, I loved Sophie and Ruger, but I LOOOVED Em and Hunter. For me, this story was more MC than the other two. It was certainly grittier and more criminal in nature, which really adds another layer of excitement. Also, the story flows really well. Even though a good chunk of the first half of the book is spent dealing with the kidnapping and we’ve already been told that part of the story, it didn’t feel like a re-tell at all. And when the book moves into the second half, it sucks you in and engrosses you very thoroughly, it almost dares you to try and put the book down, something that I don’t think you’ll be able to.

The supporting cast of characters are back in this book, however, I do wish we would’ve gotten more of them. We definitely get reacquainted with some of the guys from the Reaper’s and we also get introduced to some from the Jack’s. What we don’t get however, is a lot from the ladies, which I would’ve liked to have seen more from since they’re Em’s circle and she was going through some shit in this book, so she needed them. But, overall, I don’t think that any lack of character support derailed me from my love of this book.

This book is strung tight with sexual tension. We all know that Em is a card carrying member of the V-Club and that angle definitely adds to the overall strain that both Em and Hunter are experiencing. I’m not sure how you’ll feel after you read the scene in which Em gives it all up. When I first read the scene I think I may have been a little put off, because it’s not really how you expected it to pan out. But, then I got my head together and remembered that I am in fact reading a MC book and Hunter is pretty much all Alpha and so while it may not have been romantic, I wouldn’t remove “hot” from the list of adjectives one would use to describe it. Plus, Em is twenty-something, dying to rid herself of her innocence, so who am I to complain about how it went down. Bottom line, Hunter and Em have great sexual chemistry and it comes pouring off of the pages.

This is one of my favorite MC series.  There are so many books in this particular genre as of late and sometimes I feel like I’m reading a very poorly written script of SOA, but not this series. It is full of grit, crime, lots of Alpha hotness, great sex, camaraderie, and really everything one needs to use as an excuse to shoo away the kiddos and tell them “not now, mama’s at a good part”. I really don’t think you will be disappointed.

Reaper’s Legacy (Reaper’s MC Series, Book #2) by Joanna Wylde

Reaper's Legacy (Reaper's MC)Reaper's Legacy (Reaper's MC)Synopsis TagReaper's Legacy (Reaper's MC)Bxtches Be Blogging Book Reviews

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: Reaper’s Legacy is the second book in the Reaper’s Motorcycle Club Series and even though this particular book could be read on its own, I don’t recommend, especially when reading a MC series. Reaper’s Property (book #1), gives you the roots you need to establish the characters of the series. Having said that, I will say, while I think you should read this series in order, if you choose not to, you shouldn’t be confused. Carry on.

Just like the first book, this one is told through the POV of our female lead, Sophie. There are “Ruger” chapters, but they are in third person.

Ruger was in the first book somewhat, so hopefully you remember him, if not, no worries, you will get invested really quick. Reaper’s Legacy kicks off when Sophie is just a teenager getting ready to lose her virginity to Zach, Ruger’s stepbrother. Like any young girl getting ready to give up the V-card, Sophie believes she is in love. Well, that love gets her knocked up. Fast forward eight months and Ruger gets a call from his mother that Sophie may be in labor and she needs for him to get her to the hospital. As luck would have it, Zach is drunk out of his mind and on the way to the hospital, Ruger is forced to pull to the side of the road and deliver the baby himself and a connection is forever made.

Now, it’s seven years later and Sophie finds herself living in Seattle and raising her son (Noah) all on her own. To say that she is struggling is an understatement. Ruger is involved in Noah’s life and after an unfortunate incident goes down, Ruger and Horse show up at Sophie’s apartment and Ruger basically demands that Sophie and Noah move to Coeur d’Alene and stay with him for a while. And let’s face it, he’s an Alpha Male in a MC, is he really gonna take no for an answer?  Here is where the problem lies. Sophie is not down to having any part of the Reaper’s and she isn’t afraid to make that known to Ruger.

As much as Sophie believes that the Reaper’s are nothing but a bunch of criminals, she bonds really well with the ladies of the club, you remember the gang, Marie, Dance, Maggs, Em. None of these ladies are blind to the tension that seems to be bouncing between Sophie and Ruger and they are all jumping at the bits to offer her advice, including her BFF Kimber. This is another reason to read the first book. The ladies of the club get introduced in that book and it makes it just a bit easier to enjoy since you already understand their dynamic.

This book is going to take several turns and get really gritty. Drama is certainly abundant. Not only drama between Ruger and Sophie, but within the MC as well. Unfortunately for Ruger, things are going to go down that may just prove Sophie’s point after all. For me, this is the meat of the the story and it is fantastically written. There are a lot of qualities that I really need in a MC read to get me to commit wholeheartedly to the series and one of those things is the “1%” aspect of the club. I love the Alphas, I love the sex, but I really love the grit and it runs all throughout these pages.

The medicine will work effectively if you have a genuine heart online viagra check to find out more or liver issue* If you have noticed, the medicine contradicts some of the major root culprits to male impotence. It also generates new tissues to boost length and girth of penis as order cheap levitra https://unica-web.com/ENGLISH/2014/GA2014-honours-for-arie+stani.html well as sexual stamina. With a background cialis without prescriptions mastercard unica-web.com in special education, Laurie now works with schools as well as nonprofit and youth organizations internationally. Since the condition is why not try here buy viagra online related to reproductive organs. Another quality of a great MC read are the supporting characters. My personal opinion is they need to be really well written because usually a MC is surrounded by their family, so they play an important part of the storyline. Everyone is back in this book and you will continue to connect with them even more. The ladies of the club play a huge role in bringing Sophie around and while she may not desire to be the “property” of anyone or have anything to do with the club, she really cherishes her friendships with the ladies and it is written so well, that you will wish for the opportunity to hang with them.

The carnal desire that pours off of the pages was blistering. It takes a bit for Sophie and Ruger to get down to the business, but the pure lustful tension between them starts from the get go and is almost just as fiery. And let me tell you, there are times when you’re going to begin to think that Ruger is kind of an asshole and maybe Sophie would be better without them, but then dirty things start to happen and you think “it’s gonna be okay, I can tolerate it”. Good Lord the dirty talk in Ruger’s vocabulary is gonna land right where you need it to and Ruger is so good at delivering it, you may be drooling by the end, so have a napkin at the ready.

There are a lot of dynamics to this story that I didn’t even mention, don’t want to ruin any discovery for you. I will tell you that once you get in and start turning the pages, it’s hard to stop. I really did prefer this book to the first, although I did love the first, I just think that Sophie and Ruger had a chemistry that can’t be outdone. I enjoyed Marie, I thought she was well written, but Sophie was just wittier and in a story that has a lot of grit and toughness, it helps to have a female lead that is not only funny, but can hold her own. Em gets her story told next, so get ready to fall deeper in with the Reaper’s MC.

Reaper’s Property (Reaper’s MC Series, Book #1) by Joanna Wylde

Reaper's Property (Reaper's MC)Reaper's Property (Reaper's MC)Synopsis TagReaper's Property (Reaper's MC)Bxtches Be Blogging Book ReviewsBXTCHES Gotta Warn: Reapers Property is the first book in the Reapers MC series and while some may say that the books within this series can be read as standalones, I personally don’t suggest it. You wouldn’t start Sons of Anarchy with season three because you would be wondering how in the fuck did Abel get kidnapped and why is Gemma on the run and how does the whole club end up in Ireland. I’m sorry (not sorry) if I spoiled some stuff for you, but you should’ve already indulged in everything Jax Teller by now. . .surely you get my point. This series has been around for a hot minute, but if you haven’t yet been introduced to the members of the Reapers MC and those who love them, then you’re starting in a very good place, the beginning. Just know that there may be some aspects to this particular book that could possibly not sit well with someone who has never dove inside the pages of the MC world. But stick with it, because if all goes well for you, in no time at all you’ll be thirsting for Ruger’s story.

Reapers Property will mostly be told through Marie’s POV. However, there are a few Horse chapters thrown in, but those are told in third person, not through his POV (insert sad face right here).

Let’s just start with the beginning. Marie had recently found herself on the wrong side of her husband’s fist and had made the very wise decision to get the fuck out, her only option however is her brother Jeff. It’s not necessarily a bad option, it’s just Marie is back in the trailer park and life isn’t looking too grand. Turns out, Jeff is a bit of a computer whiz and with his hacking ability, has found some work with the Reapers, and since he is able to make large amounts of cash for the MC, life is looking pretty good for Jeff, until it isn’t. And because of Jeff’s mishaps, Marie becomes collateral damage. Don’t worry, I’m not giving away anything you wouldn’t learn in the first chapter of the book. We start this ride with Horse making Marie an offer that could save her brother’s life. . .all he wants instead of Jeff’s blood is Marie’s body.

It’s after the offer is made that we flashback to Marie meeting Horse for the first time and it involves a bikini top, Def Leppard, and a little case of mistaken identity. It doesn’t take a lot of time for Marie to feel comfortable around the MC guys when they come to check in on Jeff and even though they may have mistaken her for a whore, Horse can see Marie being the type of girl he may wanna slap a patch on. Unfortunately, with Marie coming out of an abusive relationship, she’s not too keen on jumping into one where she is marked the “property of” anyone, no matter how hot this particular one happens to be. Even more unfortunate is her telling the badass biker no, which doesn’t happen ever and when it’s all said and done, doesn’t really matter because Horse works his way around that obstacle when he gives her the opportunity to save her brother’s life by turning her body over to him.

So, Marie finds herself where Horse originally wanted her, the back of his bike, just not as his old lady and this BXTCHES, is where the story really picks up and sucks you in.

So, one of the reasons I suggest to read books in the order in which they were written is the supporting cast, especially in a MC series. The first book is where introductions are made and the foundation is usually laid out. We meet those that are gonna be featured in future books and some that may not be featured, but will pop up from time to time. The secondary characters in Reaper’s Property not only provide an additional layer to a complex story, but complete the story, without pulling the attention away from Marie and Horse. Pay attention to Ruger (book #2), Em (book #3), Picnic (book #4), and Painter (book #5), they all get introduced in this book. And while I’m sure no damage would be done by reading out of order, it just wouldn’t tell the stories in the way they were intended. And just to forewarn, books #2 and #3 kind of overlap, so going out of order could mess up the storytelling.

Let’s get to the dirty talk. Marie is a bit naive when it comes to things of a sexual nature and Horse is anything but, so combine the two and fireworks are bound to go off. Horse certainly knows his way around a woman’s body and it doesn’t take long for Marie to crave his knowledge and experience. Your imagination will definitely get a workout. If you’re in a spot where your libido needs a little recharge, Horse may be the jump start you crave.
On the other hand, cialis canadian generic male enhancement penis pumps are free from its influence. In Berlin, Jackson brought his newborn son buy levitra canada on the balcony in November 2002, as fans stood below. generic sildenafil It is also a method to show your partner how much you care about them. These are an excellent way to use Nitric acid, which quick active chemical which keeps up the Vascular And Erection Health The benefits of cardiovascular exercise generic viagra pills assist to enhance the blood vessels on the regular basis.
Reaper’s Property has everything a good MC read should have. It has the grit and crime, it has the family and camaraderie, it has a hot AF alpha asshole that you come to love, and a feisty and independent female. The sex is hot and abundant and while the book takes some serious turns, it’s gonna gives good humor. And this is only the first book, the more invested you become better the series will read.
