BXTCHES Gotta Warn: So, fun fact. Complicated was released November 7, 2017. . .I did my one click on November 12, 2017, dove right in and for a reason that I cannot identify, I didn’t take right to the keyboard with my thoughts. I decided to give it a re-read (not really a chore) but once again, for unknown reasons, I procrastinated. Third time’s the charm and I’m finally in front of a computer ready to gush all of my feelings about this book. While I haven’t read every word that has come from KA’s imagination, I am a huge fan. Motorcycle Man is one of my absolute favorites (of any author) and if you have yet to fall in love with Tack and Tyra and motorcycles and the Choas MC. . .I digress. . .just check out my review here. Trust a BXTCH, that book will have you feeling it all. While KA is pretty much close to perfection, there is a downfall. . .her books are addicting, almost Intervention worthy, her books are also very long (this one is 576 pages), so the conundrum. . .do I let my imagination go where KA wants to take it and escape or do I do adulty things like cook dinner and do laundry? Well, surely it’s not gonna take a whole helluva lot to figure out which path I chose. #laundrybedamned

Complicated will be told through the first person POV of Greta and the third person POV of Hix. Not my favorite way to get inside the mind of an alpha, but KA does it well.

Complicated kicks off with Hixon climbing out of Greta’s bed, after having a pretty great fucking night or a great night fucking, you can take it either way. The problem? That’s all it can really be. . .just one night. Hixon has just finalized his divorce from his wife of many years. The woman that he thought he was gonna grow old with. . .enjoy grand babies with. . .the one he thought he would be sitting with as his children said their “I do’s”. . .but for reasons unknown to him, Hope decided that the future they had planned together was no longer the one she wanted to see through to the end. So even though his loyalty is no longer tied to anyone, getting his needs met is one thing, but offering up his heart is a bridge he is not willing to cross. But sometimes all it takes is hearing the girl of your dreams, the one that gave you the best sexual night of your life, singing to you from across the bar, for you to see things a bit differently.

It shouldn’t take much to decipher that Complicated is in fact a complicated love story between Hixon and Greta. However, it’s not the love that’s the complicated part, not really. It’s everything that surrounds Hixon and Greta that has this book living up to its name. Even though Hixon and Hope have been living separately for about one year, their divorce is just weeks old. Adding to that complication is the fact that their love did produce three children (Shaw, Corinne, and Mamie). Hix is the sheriff, and being the sheriff of a small community, one where everyone knows everyone and everyone’s business, his actions, both professional and personal, are always being scrutinized. Hixon’s list may be long and may be complicated, but Greta’s will give him a run for his money and the majority of her list is occupied by her mother.

Not to dive too deep into this complicated journey, but Greta is somewhat new to the small Nebraska town and her motivation for relocating is her younger brother, Andy. Her younger brother who lives in a home. Her younger brother who was in a drunk driving accident when he was just 15 years old. An accident that caused a traumatic brain injury. An accident that was caused by his mother. And because of the recklessness that mama caused, Greta is Andy’s guardian. Now you can understand why it is that mommy dearest takes up so much of Greta’s complicated list.

Now it’s just time to uncomplicate things.

Kristen Ashley is never a simple BXTCH. It’s never gonna be a girl meets boy, girl and boy fall in love, they get married and ride off for their happily ever after. First, KA doesn’t write boys, she’s gonna give you an alpha that you’re gonna be trippin’ over your own two feet to fall in love with. He could be an asshole or he may be lovable from page one, but rest assured he will be alpha and you will fall, asshole or otherwise. Also, KA writes movie-esque books, she will give your imagination an investment and you will be living the moments right next to the characters she has created. Get ready, there will be a lot to unpack within the covers of this complicated book.

However, sometimes, the condition of male impotence is caused when a man cannot keep an erection enough for sexual contact. cheapest cialis canada Sadly, cialis 10 mg the list of these ailments doesn’t have many bounds. When taken Look At This viagra 100 mg in excess, alcohol can increase your chances of getting pregnant. From these, the cialis 20 mg Discover More researcher’s isolated 16 patients with symptoms of hyperthyroidism. Greta and Hixon are the ones who take center stage, but it’s the ones that surround them that give the book layer after layer. Each supporting character adds the necessary ingredient that Complicated needs to come together. Even though you know where the book is headed with Hixon and Greta, Hixon tends to be frustrating when he tries to keep things super casual and just friend zoned between him and Greta, but then you see the relationship between him and his children and even the non-relationship between him and Hope, so even though you may be frustrated with Hix, you understand. The supporting cast comes at you from all angles. . .there’s those who work with Hixon. . .there’s those who work with Greta. . .there’s the kiddos, both Hixon’s kids and Greta’s brother. . .there’s Hope. It all comes together in a beautiful and very well told story.

While KA does it all very well, the one thing that she is usually heads and shoulders above the rest is when she brings the imagination into the bedroom. And it’s not just the actual sex that will set your sheets on fire. It’s the tension that she creates, it’s the romance and the passion and the dirty talk. I think that’s where KA gets you, it’s the alpha combined with the romance, combined with the passion, combined with the dirty talk that will not only hypnotize you, but will have you salivating for more.

Here’s the deal, if you have never cracked open a KA book, Complicated is a pretty good start, though I would recommend you go back and catch up on some pretty fantastic stories. When I tell you that KA is moviesque in her writing, I’m talking get the popcorn ready, because you’re gonna be captivated from the get go.

Complicated brings all the elements. Romance and love and passion and humor and heartache and even a murder. So just sit back, pour some wine (or tequila), block out your world and get ready to fall deep into Hixon and Greta’s. It’s gonna be worth the escape.

Vodka on the Rocks (The Uncertain Saints MC Series, Book #3) by Lani Lynn Vale

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: I think our first order of business is a BXTCH Moment of Silence, just to appreciate the glory that is this cover. I’m not sure who these guys are that grace the covers in this series, but a major thank you to Lani Lynn Vale and her genius when it comes to her selections. This is the 3rd book in the Uncertain Saints MC Series and I will once again reiterate the fact that I think you should read the books of this series in order, however, I don’t think it’s absolutely necessary in the case of Vodka on the Rocks. Vale does a really good job of giving you any background you may need on the previous books within the story of Vodka on the Rock, so there won’t be any confusion, if anything, it’ll make your desire to read the other books in the series that much greater.

Vodka on the Rocks will be brought to us from the POV’s of both Tasha and Casten.

Even though I say that you can read Vodka as a stand-alone, we did first meet Tasha and Casten in Jack and Coke (book #2). Tasha is Annie’s little sister and of course, Casten is a member of the Uncertain Saints MC. So see, they all tie together somehow. But again, no worries, Vale gives you enough history to really enjoy this as a stand-alone.

As with every book in this series, we usually learn early on that one or both of our main characters have experienced something in their past that is tethering them and preventing them from moving on and enjoying their future, Vodka is no different. In Jack, Annie refers to Tasha as “Tornado Tasha” because of her ability to use and lose guys. In Vodka, we learn why it’s difficult for Tasha to commit herself to any one man, I’m not really going to go into it here, it’s really a discovery you need to make on your own, however, I will be a BXTCH and tell you that it is tragic.

Casten is ex-military, ex-cop, current private detective. His military days are really what haunts him and what also keeps him to himself, Tornado Tasha is just making it more and more difficult for him to do that.

It doesn’t take much for Casten to stake his claim. It starts with a little appendicitis and culminates at his mother’s wedding. All of this is moved along with the fact that Tasha has earned herself a stalker somehow and because of that crazy fuck, she is “forced” to move in with Casten, his dog, and two sisters.

It also reduces vigor and ordine cialis on line vitality. Vacuum pump, penile implant, ICP therapy, testosterone therapy, ED drugs, psycho analysis, reconstructive surgery are a few example of effective and latest treatment for all symptoms of ED and allows men to have harder erection and more discharge. sales cialis I was blessed to cialis from india tadalafil be born into a great family. Of course, it is a click here now uk viagra online serious matter of life and unforeseen heart failure. It’s gonna be somewhat of a bumpy road for Tasha and Casten to truly come together and get their ever after, but the quest you go on to get them there is a really good journey.

You should know that Vale isn’t going to disappoint us in the telling of Tasha and Casten’s story. Of course she gives us the humor we are so accustomed to, we get the suspense that each of these books brings to our imagination, she still delivers the “alpha”ness with perfect precision, and of course there is the sex.

Like with each book in this series, we get just a glimpse of previous characters. In Vodka, it’s mainly Annie, Mig, and Vitaly (book #2) that re-visits, with other characters sprinkled in just enough to wet our palette. We also get some new introductions, such as Rhea and CeeCee (Casten’s sisters), which I personally would love to get more of a “CeeCee story”, I feel like there is some good shit behind her. As much as I would like to get updates on the cast we have already fallen in love with, Vale really does a good job redirecting that love into the ones you’re currently tripping over. One can hope that maybe one day we get a “Where Are They Now” story and have the opportunity to catch up on all that we fell for to begin with.

Oh lordy lou, Lani Lynn Vale, you sure know how bring in the big guns. . .and by big guns, I mean big cock. There is no shortage of chemistry, sexual or otherwise, when Tasha and Casten take it between the sheets. They fuck with passion, they fuck with need, they fuck with love, they fuck with rage, they really fuck with just about every emotion you can think of and they do it well. Thank you Lani Lynn Vale for giving us a little something something to add to our playbook.

I swear, these books really have me hooked. My addiction started with the Code 11-KPD SWAT series and truthfully, I just started that one because it sounded interesting enough, it really wasn’t the type of book that I usually went for, but thank goodness I said “fuck it” and dove right in, because my fantasy world would not be complete without the stories created by Lani Lynn Vale. She is able to combine humor, suspense, drama, sexiness all together in a way that is truly appetizing.

It took me less than 24 hours to finish this book, which is becoming a tradition with this series. I would say I’m a little ashamed that my focus was diverted, but I’m going to spotlight the positive, which is the fact that I was able to start a task and see it to completion. Score one for the BXTCH!

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: First, I HIGHLY recommend book #1 in this series, Whiskey Neat, however, if you decide by chance, to dive right into Jack and Coke first, then believe it or not, you will be just fine. While Griffin and Lenore (Whiskey Neat’s couple) are a part (somewhat) of Jack and Coke, it’s not too much that the reader will be confused. Even though I have said all of that, my feeling is that this series is going to blow me out of the water and with all great series, you certainly want to start at the very beginning. No worries, Whiskey Neat has a great alpha, who happens to be a Texas Ranger (the law enforcement kind, not bat swinging kind), feisty heroine, a sex toy shop, and phenomenal between the sheets action, so you really are missing out on the action by not falling in love with Griffin, Lenore and everything that is Whiskey Neat.

Jack an Coke will be told through the POV’s of both Mig and Annie.

Let’s start with Mig. Mig is a DEA agent stationed in Uncertain, Texas to help control/watch over the drugs that are filtering in through the local river. Mig is married to Jennifer, but it’s super important to understand how Mig and Jennifer began. Since there really is no smooth way for me lay it out for you, I’m just gonna go for it. While at a club party, Jennifer drugged Mig, then proceeded to rape him, in the process, becoming pregnant. Now, there is a reason behind that craziness and the reason will certainly add to the drama that makes up Mig and Annie’s story, but you will not find out that reason here, you’ll need to crack open some Jack and Coke and enjoy it for yourself.

Annie lives next door to Mig and Jennifer and has been far gone ever since she laid eyes on him. Her marriage to her ex-husband was a marriage not filled with passion or excitement or the kind of sex that had her craving more and more, which is why it ended. But, just seeing Mig has Annie’s body reacting in a way very new to her, but in a way that has her taking notice and recognizing what she finally wanted in her man, so why settle? The obstacle in her way is the little gold band uniting Mig to Jennifer.

Mig has wanted Annie just as long as she has wanted him. Mig may be a lot of things, maybe even a lot of bad things, but he is not a man who turns his back on his responsibilities. While his baby may have been conceived not with an ounce of love, but full of deceit, his values do not allow him to ignore the mother of his child, so he does what he thinks is the right thing and marries her, which in hindsight, just delays his inevitable union with Annie.

Of course, Mig and Annie get together. It does take quite a few hoop jumps to make it happen though, but thank goodness that is when we really get to the meat of the story and if you thought it was hard to turn your back on Jack and Coke up to that point, just settle in, because once it gets going, it will become impossible.

The period where order cheap levitra the bodybuilder is not using is to get the body back to having a normal function. Yes buying them online will help you to better your sexual execution. Not only do you fall head over heels for Mig and Annie, but they’re surrounded with a certain kind of camaraderie that adds a rich layer to an already full story. When you get a series like the Uncertain Saints MC, you need each book to peel back more and more and allow the reader to become familiar with future characters, Jack and Coke will do that for you. There’s also characters in Mig and Annie’s story that we will only get here. For example, Annie’s family and Mig’s parents, who give just enough to complete this book. So, all in all, while this may not be an ensemble type of cast, they certainly add what you need to leave you longing for the next story.

It shouldn’t be surprising when I tell you that the mattress dancing in Jack and Coke will leave you actually needing a jack and coke. It’s everything you want and expect from an Alpha/Law Enforcement/Take Charge type of man. Dressing rooms, poolside, hospital bathrooms, there are no apologies on where or when. . .and there doesn’t need to be. Light the cigarette, pour the drink. . .you’ll certainly need it. Thank you Lani Lynn Vale.

One of the things that Lani Lynn Vale does so well is the balance she brings between humor and suspense/drama. She can have you pissed off at your alpha on one page, the edge of your seat on the next, then have you laughing out loud, all in the span of a chapter. There’s not many stones left unturned. So, regardless what tickles your fancy, she offers you a buffet of different types of excitement. On a side note, please take a moment just to honor the hella hotness that is that fucking cover. Well done.

Vodka on the Rocks is book #3 in this series (look for it July 2016) and that will bring us Casten. We get a bit of him in Jack and Coke, again, just enough to have you anticipating what the next book will bring.

This series just keeps getting better and better. I’m not sure if it’s just because each book is actually better than the last or because I have become so invested in each story. Doesn’t really matter, as long as she writes them, I’ll read them.Bxtches Be Reading5 Star Read for Bxtches Be ReadingFavorite Quotes TagJack and Coke (Uncertain MC Series, Book #2) | Review on www.bxtchesbeblogging.com

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: I know it’s the same warning each and every time, but once again. . .this series NEEDS to be read in the order in which they were written (Rock Chick, Rock Chick Rescue, Rock Chick Redemption, Rock Chick Renegade, Rock Chick Revenge, Rock Chick Reckoning, Rock Chick Regret, Rock Chick Revolution, and Rock Chick Reborn). While I’m sure you can still get your fill if you were to read out of order, TRUST a BXTCH when she tells you that it’s not the same.

Rock Chick Revenge will be told through the POV of Ava.

KA had done a pretty great job thus far introducing us to our next leading lady by the end of the previous book. For example, at the end of Indie’s story, we got somewhat of an introduction to Jet, we didn’t get to meet Roxie, but at the end of her book, we met Jules when she was in a tire shootout right in front of Fortnum’s. It is at the end of Jules’ story that Ava walks into Nightingale Investigations looking for Luke and that is where the beginning of her story begins.

We also already know Luke. While we didn’t meet meet him during Indy and Lee’s story, he did have a bit of a story line in that book. He was the one who was shot in the gut. We really got to know him during Roxie and Jules stories. And those particular relationships may throw wrenches into what he is building with Ava. So, there is definitely angst and drama with Luke and Ava and it’s the kind of drama that we haven’t really been introduced to yet in this series.

At this point in the series, Indie and Lee are the only couple that have a history and their history is pretty long. Jet didn’t know Eddie. . .Roxie didn’t know Hank. . .and Jules may have heard of Vance, but had yet to meet him. Ava has known Luke since she was eight years old (he was twelve) and has possibly been in love with him since then. There are a few things to know before diving in. Ava has two sisters (Sophia and Marilyn), who along with her mom, are better known as “The Barlow Bitches”. . .Her father (whom she adored) left when she was young. . .Her best friend in the entire world is Sissy. . .The last time she laid eyes on Luke was at this father’s funeral and she was 75 pounds lighter.

Of course there’s a reason why she’s shown up at Nightingale Investigations. Her BFF Sissy is married to an absolute dick (Dom) and Ava needs some help digging up dirt on “Dom the Dick” so Sissy can make out great in the divorce. The problem, once she arrives at Nightingale, she realizes what a mistake it was. Unfortunately she is too late, Mace is blocking her exit and everyone else wants to see how this plays out. Trust me, you’ll want to see it too, bets are about to be placed and for the first time, Shirleen is able to get in on the ground floor.

It’s a long story, so it’s easier to just cut to the chase because there are two separate “dramas” working at the same time and both involve Ava. Here we go: Luke finally shows up at Nightingale and confronts Ava about any problems she may have, she denies it, but later that night finds herself in the middle of some gunfire while trying to get the goods on Dom the Dick. Luke of course is there to shield her and now has the catalyst he needs to get her into his loft. Since Ava has been in love with Luke since she was 8 years old and has dreamed of the moment she would once again be face to face with him (75 pounds lighter of course), she soon realizes she may have gotten more than she bargained for. Luke being the fine, fine, alpha male that he is, takes a page out of Lee’s handbook and not only decides to take something other than money for his services, but also brings handcuffs into the mix. We all know where this is going to end up, but interruptions right before the good stuff and quipy remarks between Luke and Ava are pretty priceless.

Here’s where the first part of Ava’s drama comes in. The reason that Sissy has decided to divorce “Dom the Dick” is because he made a pass at Ava (with tongue) and Sissy walked in on it. Dom is actually the one in trouble and he has unknowingly pulled Ava into his situation. So, in typical Rock Chick fashion, there will be kidnappings and tasers and well, you know the drill.

The other drama that Ava gets involved in is actually a little more on the serious side. Ava’s past history with men has not been very successful, before or after the weight loss. There was the cheater, the porn addict, and the one who cleaned out her bank accounts and stole her dead aunt’s jewelry. Because of her devotion and commitment to her collection of vibrators, Ava has decided to pull out the full bitch (at times) on Luke. This isn’t the Ava that Luke remembers and he sort of vows to get the old Ava back from the assholes who chipped away at her. That is where the drama will unfold and it will get pretty ugly. Can’t say anymore however, I would hate to spoil it for you.

One can now order Kamagra online tab viagra 100mg within a few clicks. These all forms viagra 100mg for sale come with different dosages, amount, and price. As much as I love the main characters in these books, I must admit that one of my favorite parts about reading KA is the cast of support that she creates. They are all back in this book, though I felt not as prominent as in the others, they still are able to really bring the story around. All the Rock Chicks are back. Shirleen is as funny as ever and has actually claimed Ava as hers. Smithie makes a brief appearance, but it is memorable. And adding to the crew are Ava’s people. Sissy, Riley, The Barlow Bitches, the Mom’s, you will not be left wanting for any outside help.

Get out the fan, because the sex here is going to be scorching. I’ve said it over and over, but I’m somewhat convinced that KA may get some inspiration from watching the naughty stuff, which is certainly fine by me. Now, it takes a while for Ava and Luke to “do the business”, which is being bet on by the entire gang of Rock Chicks and the Hot Bunch. But, when the business finally gets seen to, it is toe curling. My advice is this: Ladies, if you’re having a little difficulty getting inspired between the sheets, just read a couple of the scenes and turn them into some live action shots. Your man never has to know where inspiration hit you.

I have honestly read this book about 4 times, twice this year alone. Each time I read/re-read an installment of this series I think that one is my favorite and I am thinking the same thing with this book. The one thing that I really did love about this book, is with the exception of Lee and Indy’s story, Luke and Ava have know each other for most of their lives, so I felt that their story had more of an investment. This isn’t to say that I don’t love the other stories, because I do, but for the chubby girl who lives inside all of us and for that untouchable crush you had, this one kind of gets you.

There’s just something about reading a really good Kristen Ashley book that takes you away from everything surrounding you and allows you to really fall into what it is she sets out to accomplish. You know, books get made into movies all of the time, some do well, others don’t. I personally would LOVE if someone would take this series and turn it into an actual T.V. series, HBO style of course. I mean, c’mon, who wouldn’t love to actually see the ass of Luke, or the abs of Lee, or the whiskey eyes of Hank, or really, what in the hell Tex would really look like. I think a revolution needs to begin.
