BXTCHES Gotta Warn: This is book #3 in the Freebirds series and it is super important that this series is read in the order in which it was written. I started my introduction to Lani Lynn Vale with the KPD SWAT series and while that wasn’t a horrible idea, I do wish I would’ve started at the beginning with the Freebirds series and here’s why. Lani Lynn Vale’s series tend to run into one another. And she is now writing second generation series, so the babies born during this series (Freebirds) are now grown and getting their own books. And while you won’t be confused if you read another one of her series prior to this one, you will get curious. For example, Peyton (our leading lady here) has a teenaged brother, Bennett. . .who we meet during this book. Bennett gets his story told in book #7 of the KPD SWAT series, but his backstory is laid out during this book. So, even though I’m not saying it’s necessary to start from her very first series (Freebirds) and go from there. . .I am saying that things will flow better if you do.

Another One Bites The Dust will be told through the POV’s of both Peyton and Max.

If you started this series from the very beginning, then you’ve already met and know Max. He is Ember’s brother and the best friend of James. He’s also a member of Free. I’m pretty certain that we met Peyton during Ember’s book (Highway Don’t Care)-though it has been a while since I’ve cracked that one open. Either way, this book is all about Peyton and Max.

Peyton is attracted to Max and Max is attracted to Peyton, though neither is really initiating anything beyond a kiss in the gym. Peyton has some ghosts from her past she is still dealing with. . .mainly an attack that occurred while she was with her ex-boyfriend. An attack that had her ex fleeing and leaving Peyton to take the beating and the nightmares that followed.

Max understands that the best way to approach Peyton is via the friendship route, which works out really well. That is until Max is called back into service. No worries because the night before he leaves is the night that Peyton gets the full on Max experience and Peyton and Max become official.

And that is where the fun and drama start.

While exercises, counseling, supplements, and surgery can take up months or weeks to show results, Suhagra 100 takes only few minutes to get a wholesale viagra online penile organ erect. The tree is obtaining deep roots and it truly is only given viagra cheapest to people that have erectile dysfunction and boost up your sexual abilities. Blessed are those who don’t experience it their entire purchase cheap viagra unica-web.com life. Some women lose sensation around their levitra tabs genital area. As with all things that come with the men of Free, once Max returns home, he intends for things to not only pick up, but do so at an amazingly fast pace. However, an enemy intends to not only slow things down, but if they have their way, things will end devastatingly for both Max and Peyton.

There is a lot of things happening in this book. It’s not just about Max and Peyton finding love. There’s enemies trying to make sure that the love doesn’t get too far off the ground. There’s things happening with Peyton’s brother that will lay the groundwork for his book further down the road. All you need to do is sit back and ride it out. . .the journey is definitely worth it.

As we move further and further into the different series by LLV, we not only get introduced to future characters, but we get to catch up with those we’ve already met. The storyline between Sam and his dad continue in this book and will somewhat kick off the first book in the Dixie Warden MC series. We get introduced to Peyton’s family, which will become important down the road. And since the series revolves around Free, we definitely get a ‘Where Are They Now’ with those members. Both Cheyenne and Ember have kiddos, so  it’s fun to see how the dynamic has changed since both of their books.

If while reading the first two books and getting to know Max, you thought how great it would be to have him manhandle you a bit and you just knew that he would prove to be a force to be reckoned with in the bedroom. . .well, you wouldn’t be wrong. He does the mattress dance like it’s his Olympic sport and the gold medal is destined to be his.

I love Peyton. She was written feisty and sexy and independent and take no shit leading lady. I have equal love for Max. I love how he loved Peyton and wasn’t willing to even let her stand in the way of her becoming his. However, I wasn’t a big fan of the story. I thought there was not only too much going on, but it was too much happening to one couple. Having said all of that, I will still say that it’s important to read this book how it fall within the series. Peyton and Max are an integral part of the Free family and ultimately the family that LLV creates with the rest of her series. So, in order for it all to fall into place, read Another One Bites The Dust as you should, the third book in this series.

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: We’re onto book #4 and if you haven’t read the first three books, please stop, go back and do that first. This is not a series that you can skip around willy nilly, in order for things to really come together, you gotta start things off with Sam and Cheyenne.

Last Day of My Life will be told through the POV’s of both Jack and Winter.

We don’t know too much about Jack. After Payton had her kiddo and trips had to be made to the NICU, Jack was one of the ones who participated in kangaroo care, but he hasn’t appeared a whole lot up to this point. Well, I guess he’s appeared, he’s just silent. Which means we haven’t had too many hints about him and what his story will bring. Turns out, that is the hint.

Last Day of My Life will flashback, because unlike the other couples, Jack and Winter’s story begins years prior. The prologue lays down the beginnings and by chapter one you realize that the one Jack thought was gone forever, is not and now his (and her) life is about to change forever.
It has the capability to manage over the amerikabulteni.com buy viagra commotion of this enzyme. Another cialis samples online common cause of male disorder in all age groups people. Many people don’t believe a third application can help them recover deleted cialis vs viagra pictures from Nikon camera. Hence, it has cheapest levitra Learn More Here been the most popular herb available in almost every country.
There’s a lot to unpack with Jack and Winter, mainly because he’s lived the last seven years thinking that his Winter had not only been killed, but no one knew the exact circumstances surrounding the case and because of that tragedy, he hasn’t really lived during those seven years. But now she’s back and the past isn’t quite done fucking with her future.

One of the reasons I decided to start from the very beginning with LLV’s collection is because characters introduced in one series, will be the feature in a book in another series and I just got frustrated trying to figure out where some of the characters originated from, so I’m starting from the top. Also, she is starting to release 2nd generation series and my curiosity is killing me wanting to known whose kids belong to who and so forth. We’ve already met characters during this series that will get their own books in future series. . .Luke Roberts kick off the KPD SWAT series in Center Mass. . .Downy comes along in book #3 of that series in Bang Switch. This book introduces us to Tai, Jack’s brother and he will not only kick off book #1 in the Kilgore Fire series (Shock Advised), he makes appearances in many more books during multiple series. We get to keep in touch with Sam/Cheyenne, Gabe/Ember, Max/Payton and we start to peek into James’ story a bit more.

At this point in the series, this one is not my fave. Not because I didn’t enjoy Jack and Winter, I so did. In fact, I thought that LLV wrote Jack almost as passionate and caring as one would write a female character. All the guys in the series are definitely alpha, most definitely male, and all care about their other half. . .but Jack brought something different to his love for Winter. My issue with the book is really the story. I thought the basics of the story were fantastic, almost akin to something on Dateline. It’s when the story starts to get intricate. . .I start getting confused and I don’t know if it’s the way it’s written or if it’s me, but when the action starts to unfold, I’m left with more questions.

I’m still giving the book 4 hearts, mostly because I’m kinda taking this series in s a whole and Jack and Winter are important figures in the whole of Free. I have already started James’ book and I’m thinking his my be my favorite. . .stay tuned.

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: This is book #2 in Freebirds series, which means that you should read Boomtown (book #1) before you move onto Gabe and Ember. Trust a BXTCH when she tells you that it is imperative that you read these books in the order in which they were written. LLV’s stories tend to move from book to book and even though you won’t necessarily be confused if you go out of order, doing so won’t do the series justice. My love for LLV came with the KPD SWAT series, but as I’ve moved from series to series I realized that it may have been more beneficial for me to start her books from the very beginning, which is why I’m reading (for the first time) a series that was written in 2013 and it’s 2020.

Highway Don’t Care will be told through the POV’s of Ember and Gabe.

We got to know Ember really well in Boomtown, which made flowing into Highway Don’t Care really easy. With all the danger that was going down in Sam and Cheyenne’s story, Gabe was the one assigned to watch over Ember and as it all unfolded, we knew that it was gonna be him that was hitched to her when her story came around. Highway Don’t Care will pick up around where Boomtown left off for Gabe and Ember, and if you remember correctly, Ember came charging into Free complaining about seeing Gabe walking intimately with another woman, which will lead to one of the main storylines in this book.

Even though seeing Gabe with another woman has Ember not speaking with him, she soon finds herself in a dire situation where she needs him to rescue her and rescue her he does. This life altering event is also the catalyst Gabe needed/used to stake his claim. . .on Ember.

All these ingredients in right ratio https://www.unica-web.com/archive/wmmc/wmmc90.pdf sildenafil tablets 100mg offer the best herbal treatment for erectile dysfunction problem. Ask your doctor about the current medications you are taking. https://unica-web.com/result2009excel.xls generic cialis price Just like the previous book, there is enough action and drama to fill you up and keep you satisfied. Add that to mattress action and the alpha that oozes from the pages and you’ll be unbuttoning your pants in no time. Interpret that however you see fit.

This series is most definitely an ensemble type series, though I think that her entire collection is close to being an ensemble collection. Even though Highway Don’t Care is centered around Gabe and Ember, we continue to dive more into the other characters in this series. Since Ember and Max are siblings, we see more of him, which is a good thing, since his book is next. We also get introduced to Payton (Max), our first introduction to Downy (KDP SWAT series) and more of Luke (KPD SWAT series). So you can see just from two books in, how she slowly brings in characters that you will see somewhere down the road, which is why reading in order is extremely helpful. Since this is an ensemble series and since Ember and Cheyenne are BFF’s, we are still following along with and catching up with Sam and Cheyenne.

Lots of things to love about this book. It’s the first where LLV introduces her chapters to witty quotes, which if you haven’t experienced that yet, you’re in for a treat. The chemistry between Ember and Gabe is pretty fantastic, but so is the chemistry between Ember, Cheyenne and each new female introduced . They bring a humor and friendship that balances very well with the action that all is involved in. Jump on and stay course, the journey is worth it.

The next book (Another One Bites the Dust) features Max and Payton and just when you think the action was good, it’s about to get better.Bxtches Be ReadingLani Lynn Vale

Loved the book and fell in love with the author, but the more I continued with her books, the more I realized that I probably should’ve started with her very first series. I usually always advocate for readers to read series in the order in which the books are written because the overall story flows better. In this case, a lot of her series bounce off of one another. Characters introduced in a book in one series will show up as a main character in a book in another series. For example, in Boomtown, we get introduced to Luke Roberts (the lead in Center Mass) and we are now (in 2020) well into the 2nd generation series and there are so many characters at this point, I need a chart, but I figured the best way for me to sort it all out is to start from the very beginning, which is where I’m at with Boomtown.

Boomtown will be told through the POV’s of both Sam and Cheyenne.

This book kicks off on Cheyenne’s 25th birthday and since everyone in her life is unavailable to celebrate, she is on her own, which leads her to a bar where Sam spots her. Drinks are purchased and pleasantries are exchanged and a one night stand ensues. A first for Cheyenne. . .sex that is. . .one night or otherwise. For Sam, he knows without a doubt that he has found his one and only. For Cheyenne, she is definitely interested, but her lack of experience prevents her from taking that leap and since Sam is a bit stubborn when it comes to the pursuit of women, we’re at a standstill.

While we’re busy following the “what’s gonna happen with Cheyenne and Sam” storyline, lots of other drama is starting to take place. And while it wouldn’t be fair for me to expose the spoiler here, what I can say is this. Cheyenne’s brother (James) is in the military (active) and is currently serving overseas. Sam and the whole group at Freebirds (Sam’s business) also served in the military and small spoiler, they served with James in the military, though it does take a hot minute for the connection to appear. Sam is certainly optimistic that things between him and Cheyenne are going to get going, however, drama starts happening within the group. . .drama that involves the group of friends who served. . .drama that involves Cheyenne. . .and drama that involves time that was spent serving the country. So, go ahead and jump on the train, it’s going to take you on a pretty interesting journey.

The reasons could be genetic, substance abuse, drugs, djpaulkom.tv cialis prescription alcohol, or even some disease. Men don’t need to go to the gym for viagra prices cardio, either.
One of the things that I love about LLV books is her ability to create a well rounded cast. While you will most likely fall for those who lead the storyline, in her books, you find yourself anticipating the stories that the supporting cast will eventually get to tell. She has this gift of doing just enough with each character that leaves you wanting to know more. James (Cheyenne’s brother) doesn’t make an appearance until well into the book, but we meet his toddler daughter very early on and there is a sliver of drama involving the baby mamma, but the dangling was just enough in giving me something to look forward to. Sam is just the beginning and once the backstory of the Freebirds is revealed, you’ll realize there is so much more to this group to learn and fall in love with. Ember is the BFF and her story is next, deservingly so. So if it’s Cheyenne you fall in love with, she gets her turn to support in Ember’s story.

I’m not sure I would’ve every cracked this series open if not for my need to sort out all of the characters that LLV has written. I think this is her first book and if so, color me impressed, it gave me everything I have come to expect with a LLV book, except for her quirky little words of wisdom prior to each chapter. But you get the fiesty leading lady who brings humor and wittiness and passion, but more importantly a leading lady who can stand toe to toe with an (sometimes) overpowering alpha.

Going through all of my Kindle books recently, I discovered that I own more LLV than any other author and I must admit, I was surprised. I thought I would at least own more Kristen Ashley, but nope, LLV won out. And now that I’m looking to add to my collection, that number is about to leave all others in the dust. That doesn’t mean that it doesn’t read well by itself, I think it will (I can’t say 100% because I’ve read them all and in order). But having said all of that, I can say with absolute certainty that this series is worth the entire read, books 1-7, and in order. It flows well from book to book and the relationship that develops between the characters and the reader is so worth it.

Coup De Grace will be told through the POV’s of both Michael and Nikki.

We were first introduced to the idea of a Michael and Nikki back in book #2 (Double Tap), which happens to be the book that features Nikki’s brother, Nico. We also got the introduction to Nikki in that book since she and Georgia are BFF’s. In the books that follow, Michael gets dangled a lot, but he’s more shrouded in mystery and all it does is leave us wanting more, which comes through loud and clear in Coup De Grace

We know Michael is a member of the Kilgore SWAT team, we know that while the other guys consider Michael a brother, they also don’t know too much about him. We also know that Michael’s torso and arms are covered in tattoos, which would usually not be a talking point in an alpha heavy book, but it’s something that has been brought up in almost every storyline, so we know there is some significance to his body art and now we finally get to find out what it represents.

This is the first book in the series where the featured couple not only previously knew one another, but had a relationship as well, but a relationship that is no longer intact when the book begins. It doesn’t take too terribly long before Nikki decides to give Michael another shot and we’re off on the journey we’ve been dying to take.

Michael and Nikki getting back together is the easy part, it’s the staying together that will have you glued to the page. There’s the ex-wife, Joselin-which you somewhat met in the last book-and who also happens to work at the same hospital as Nikki, there’s disapproving parents (his, not hers), there’s Michael’s personal demons, and there’s the reason why they broke up in the first place. Take all of that and add in some crime and suspense and you got yourself a pretty damn good story.

What’s more, males tadalafil purchase suffering from infertility may also take it as studies have shown that it can provide a substantial skin lightening effect while remaining harmless to the melanin-producing cells.
Coup De Grace is the final book in the Code 11-KPD SWAT series, but no worries, the 1st book in the 2nd generation series is about to be released (January 2020), which I’m sure will have us revisiting all the ones we fell for in this series. Even though the last book (#6) didn’t revisit a lot of the characters from this series, this particular book does, while giving us some new ones in the form of Michael’s family. Not only do they all come back around, but we get to also catch up on the happenings in their lives. What I love about this series is it gave us characters that we were able to fall in love with as well as look forward to revisiting time and time again, starting all the way back with Luke and Reese. That’s why I think it’s so important to read the series in order. You miss out on that connection if you don’t start from the very beginning. Every character written for this series brings something to the story, whether it’s a character that you love or that you love to hate, they will add something that will captivate you.

Time for some truth. Going into this book with the knowledge that Michael and Nikki had an established relationship and we kept getting tickled with it throughout the whole series, had me thinking that the sexual chemistry between them would be through the roof and while it was pretty hot, other couples in the series singed just a bit more. However, just like all the books in this series, it was all written well, it just didn’t curl my toes the way I was anticipating.

There is going to be a lot going down in this book with a lot of moving parts and while I enjoyed this entire series, this book was probably my least favorite, though that’s not in any way saying that it’s a bad story, it’s definitely not. However, I just thought that there were plot lines dropped throughout the book that didn’t tie up enough in the end. I actually thought that all the characters in the book were very well written. I loved Michael, I loved Nikki, I even loved them together, I just thought that some of the side stories were rushed in being tied up and because of that, there wasn’t enough closure. Having said all of that, if I were to re-read this series tomorrow, I would re-read this one as well.

I started this series a long, long, long time ago, but never got around to this particular book. With the 2nd generation series coming out soon, I decided to give the whole series a re-read and I’m so glad I did. Lani Lynn Vale does a wonderful job at keeping the storylines fresh and interesting and the characters never bleed into one another, they all have very distinguishing personalities and give you different reasons for why you fall for them. She knows how to cover the spectrum and tie the humor to the angst to the passion to the suspense and present it all in a way that has you bouncing from one book to the next. I cannot wait for the next generation and all that it promises to give. Since this is the final review for this particular series, I do think it’s important to bow our heads and say a bit of praise for all the hotness that is on the covers on each and every book and to say a little prayer that if you ever need the SWAT team knocking down your door, that the real world is a tiny bit comparable to the fantasy in which our imagination lives. Bxtches Be Reading

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: Here we go again. We are now six books into this series and it just keeps getting better and better. Once again, I feel it is my absolute duty to go ahead and let you know that Kill Shot is a book that can be read as a stand-alone. This book is going to feature Bennett and Lennox. And truth be told, Bennett is not someone who has been featured a lot in previous books. So, while the rest of the gorgeous gang and their woman do make appearances in Kill Shot, the true focus is on Bennett, Lennox, and the people that surround their lives. While I may say that it is okay to read this book as a stand alone (and I think you will enjoy it if you do), the only reason that I don’t necessarily recommend it is because I feel like this series features a family of sorts and it does the heart good to get to know them all. I can also only assume that Lani Lynn Vale wrote them the way she did for a specific reason and her expectation was that the readers were going to enjoy them in the proper order. But, to each his own and all that. This BXTCH is for sure not going to tell you how to live your life.

Kill Shot will be told through both Bennett’s and Lennox’s POV.

I usually start with the lady when I head into my reviews, but this time I’m gonna start with Bennett. Bennett is part of the Kilgore SWAT team and is the single father of an 8 year old daughter (Reagan). His daughter was conceived when he was just 17 years old and she was very much unwanted by her mother, Corrinne. In fact, if Corrinne had it her way, Reagan would’ve never even seen the light of day. Bennett however, was prepared to do whatever it took to make sure that his daughter was brought into this world and was surrounded with love. Unfortunately he had enlisted in the military prior to her birth, so he came to rely heavily on his family during his time away. So now, he is a member of the SWAT team, he has a very witty albeit somewhat of a she-devil (not my words) 8 year old, a wonderful family, so life is good.

Lennox is a physicians assistant and is doing well. Her two BFF’s are keeping her life full of laughter and her mom and dad are both surgeons and very well respected in the medical world. The only prickly think hindering her well-being is a pesky person from her past. In fact, she has had to move, change her phone number and upend her life whenever this person makes the decision to come lurking back around. The problems started in college when the two of them were roommates and Lennox tried to warn a guy away from her. Ever since then, the problems have just escalated. But other than that, Lennox doesn’t have too many complaints.

Bennett comes barreling into Lennox’s life via the hospital. After finding himself on the wrong end of a bitch attack, he finds himself on the receiving end of some sutures and one very feisty physician’s assistant. They don’t immediately hit it off and things get strained further after Lennox’s crotch was hit by a french fry covered in ketchup by Bennett’s daughter (see, she-devil). It settles down after Lennox invites Bennett to her house to have his sutures removed (after a second incident). After that encounter. . .all bets are off.

And, we want to recognize if these enhancement products claim tadalafil tablets prices better sexual performance during intercourse.
Like I said earlier in the post, we don’t get a lot of the previous KPD SWAT couples in Kill Shot, we get more from Michael than anyone, but most likely because his book is next. I did enjoy the supporting cast in Kill Shot though. Bennett has a wonderful family and a enviable relationship with his sister Peyton. His daughter Reagan isn’t a prime presence in the book, but she certainly plays a pivotal role and makes herself known. Lennox has a wonderful circle surrounding her as well. She has her two BFF’s, Paxton and Melissa. Her parents and the whole SWAT crew, which she does a really good job of inserting herself into. So all in all, a very rounded out cast.

Once again, Lani Lynn Vale has done a great job in creating a very explosive sexual relationship between two characters. The sexual chemistry between Bennett and Lennox is dynamic. They bring everything needed to stroke the flames. . .dirty talk, passion, love. . .it’s all there and it’s all fucking hot.

Kill Shot is going to throw a lot at you and it’s not going to take a lot to piece the puzzle together, but the journey to get there is a fun ride. This story has it all. . .drama and suspense and angst and humor and camaraderie and Lani Lynn Vale does a superb job in putting it all together, cover to cover, to keep you captivated until the very end.

I loved Bennett and Lennox, they aren’t my favorite couple of the series, but Kill Shot was my favorite story to date, though I do think Michael and Nikki are about to blow me away. This series keeps the creativity going and each story offers another glimpse inside a family that I for one am growing to love more and more.Bxtches Be Reading5 Star Read for Bxtches Be ReadingFavorite Quotes Tag

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: I first read this book back in May 2015 and I have re-read several times since, which leads me to updating this review. Truth? This was my very first crack at LLV and had I known then what I actually know now, I would’ve done a bit more research before diving into this book, but look at that cover, this BXTCH got a little handsy. However, what I wished I knew was how a lot of her books seem to intertwine and I pretty sure this is one of them. I’m not sure what book this story flows from because I haven’t cracked every single story open, but I’m quite certain it has to do with Reese’s family. Having said all of that, I can genuinely say that me starting with this book (and not the others) doesn’t diminish this story, I just missed out on a little history. Center Mass will kick off a series of books that follow the men of the Kilgore SWAT team. And while I think you should read the books in order, you should definitely read books #1 and #2 in this series in order because the storyline that starts in this book, continues in book #2, otherwise if you’re feeling a bit rebellious, the other books can stand on their own.

Center Mass will be told through the POV’s of Reese and Luke.

Reese is an elementary school nurse in Kilgore, TX. She recently relocated there and took a job that was much more conducive to her being a single parent to her five year old daughter, Rowen. She’s not working there long before she gets the pleasure of meeting Luke Roberts, assistant police chief, SWAT team captain, ex-Marine, single father, and of course, super gorgeous.

Luke Roberts is drawn to Kilgore to get away. He needs to get away from a failed relationship and away from a woman who has no interest in helping raise a child that doesn’t belong to her. In case you didn’t catch on, Luke is a single father, which is actually how him and Reese actually come face to face. . .an allergic reaction. . .an epi pen. . .Reese is the school nurse. . .now our story takes off.

Now, it doesn’t just happen for them, it does take some time and it does take some random meet ups, where they happen to be in the same place at the same time, which helps encourage things alone. The chemistry is evident and with some witty banter, the story flows well prior to Reese and Luke coming together. Reese is pretty damn funny and regardless of the alpha essence that rolls off of Luke, it doesn’t faze her, which in his eyes, makes her even more appealing. Reese’s only previous relationship experience is Weston, the baby daddy, and it’s not particularly pleasant. She lost her virginity to him, just to have him not step up and be the dad that Rowen needs. So her confidence in another relationship isn’t high, but we’re talking about an ex-Marine. . .cop. . .badass. . .single father, so needless to say, it doesn’t take long for Reese to hop on-board the Luke train.

Except that there is also a facility of penis enlargement service around the globe but it can not soft cialis be compared to any one drug. cheap sale viagra This specific component nullifies the effect in about 40 minutes. cialis generic cheap Masturbation is quite common especially among young adults. Many people lack in a number of things these days and that cialis vs levitra is the reason they fail to achieve their goals in life. Once their relationship gets rolling, the story really starts to get busy. I can’t say too much without giving a ton away, so let me skim over what I can. Lydia, who is the “I don’t want to raise another woman’s baby” bitch, shows up in Kilgore, so drama will of course, ensue. Weston (baby daddy) is going to be a huge surprise, but will bring more drama. Having said all of that, let me wrap it up by saying this, there is an underlying story line here that will involve the majority of the characters. I enjoyed this aspect of the book, my only issue was it took some re-reading on my part, because it got somewhat confusing. But it was adventurous and added some pleasantly surprising mystery that kept me captivated.

While we fall in love with Luke and Reese and they do a phenomenal job in kicking off this series, the supporting cast ensures that you will be salivating for what comes after Luke and Reese. The secondary characters in this book, will eventually become the leading characters in the subsequent books, which is why I think the series should be read in order. But, focusing on this book, you will get to know the SWAT team (which is kinda the point) and those that are important to Luke and Reese. There’s Reese’s family, who add their own element to Center Mass. There’s Luke and Reese’s girls, who we do get to really meet in the 2nd Generation series. All in all, every character we meet, brings a necessity to the book and rounds out a really well told story.

You can’t create an alpha character as dominating as Luke and not expect it to carry over into the bedroom. So, needless to say, if you’re looking for your toes to curl and your sheets to ignite, you’re in the right spot. LLV brings the stuff good. . .really, really good.

I remember first reading this book and thinking that the criminal storyline was a bit confusing and even after rereading it several times, it still somewhat is. However, some of it comes together in the books that follow. But one thing you should know before going in, is that there are a lot of connected relationships here that can get confusing, but I think that’s because I haven’t read any previous works by this author and that’s where a lot of those connections come from.  So, if you’ve read other books by her, you should flow right into this one with no issues. And now that I have finished the series, I can say that the relationship that the reader develops with the characters grows from book to book and leaves you eager in going from one to the next. Lani Lynn Vale does a wonderful job of casting the bait and hooking the reader.

Consolation (The Consolation Duet, Book #1)

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: THIS BOOK CONTAINS A DOOZY OF A CLIFFHANGER. BOOK #2 WILL BE RELEASED ON MAY 27, 2015. I SAY THIS BECAUSE, IF YOU ARE THE READER WHO NEEDS TO READ BACK TO BACK, THEN JUST WAIT. BUT TRUST ME, THIS BOOK WILL STAY WITH YOU UNTIL THE NEXT ONE IS RELEASED. WARNING OVER.

Usually when I finish a book, it takes me a couple of days to get my thoughts in line before I sit down and put a review together. I am not joking when I tell you that I finished this book five minutes ago, oh and, I started this book yesterday. I could probably end the review right there and you would know just how good this book was, but I will go ahead and dazzle you with what I actually thought about this story. FYI: This story is told from POV of both Lee and Liam (but mostly Lee).

This book will introduce us to Natalie (Lee), who from the very first page you will find yourself carving out some room in your heart for. She is the wife of an ex-Navy SEAL, is pregnant with their first child and she has just received the news that he has been killed. All of this happens within the first pages of the book and will have you wiping away tears. Aaron (the hubby) was on assignment overseas for his job when his life was cut short. He and Natalie were high school sweethearts and to say that the news of his death rocked her to her soul, would be an understatement. She does give birth to their daughter, Aarabelle, which is helping heal her heart at the same time that it continues to break, because she knows that not only will Aaron not be around to see the growth of his daughter, but her daughter will never know the man her father was.

Liam is Aaron’s best friend, fellow Navy SEAL, and all around brother. He shows up when Lee needs him the most, although she doesn’t know it at the time. His main purpose is to just really start to tie up loose ends that were left when Aaron died, that Lee continues to put off. However, his constant presence in her life is starting to make her feel again. Not only her, but Liam is feeling things towards Lee that is causing an internal struggle for him. Wives are supposed to be off-limits, there is a code, but he can’t change the way he feels about her.

Lee is being encouraged by her BFF, Rae, to go for it. She has the permission from Aaron to fall in love again (through his “If you’re reading this” letter, which you should have tissue ready for), but moving on is a war she is constantly battling. She does eventually decide that she wants to move on and Liam is the one she is falling for. Their relationship will move at a very slow pace and about halfway through this book, an event will rock Lee’s world and will force her to either shut down again or let it set her free. That’s all I can give you for now, so let’s talk about it.

I actually came across this book on my Facebook feed. I always try to at least check out books that come across my page, although, I may not always be pulled to them. This is the second book that has come across my feed that has absolutely blown me away, the first was Normal (Danielle Pearl). Not only blown me away, but has been written by an author that I have yet to experience. If an author can have you shedding tears almost immediately, before you have even invested in the characters, then that’s pretty special. I’m not in the military, nor do I have any experience with the military, so I only know how the story made me feel and I think that the way Ms. Michaels wrote the role of a SEAL wife, was with compassion, strength, grit, honesty, and pain. I’m usually not one for death when I read, not that I am here either, I just think while reading this story play out, I had so much sympathy for Lee. The pain she experienced from his death, the pain of having his daughter without him there, the pain of not knowing how to move on, it was very tangible. So well done.
The order generic viagra appalachianmagazine.com chain slings offer a great strength and reliability. You could be having a viagra cipla 20mg genuine symptom of sildenafil. The improved ability to ejaculate and achieve orgasm was seen despite the severity of viagra cheapest online a man’s erectile dysfunction, according to the researchers. For example, if you run a pub or bar which tends to attract an older clientele, filling your machine with condoms and sex related products with the company estimated to be a staggering $50 Billion yearly – and that’s just for the viagra generika sake of earning money.
There was some development with supporting characters. More so with Lee’s BFF, Rae. I adored her. She played a very pivotal role in the beginnings of “Liam and Lee”. She was definitely an “I’m going to tell it like it is, even though you may not want to hear” kind of friend, which is the exact kind that Lee needed. After getting the news of Aaron’s death and having her world fall apart, it was so good to see that she had someone to lean on. There was some interaction with Aaron’s group. Lee does go to work for the same security company that Aaron worked for. And when those men make appearances in the book, they are a strong presence, they just don’t show up often.

You will fall for Liam. Everything about how he was written was spot on. Almost flawless. It was written in a manner that you will root for him, even with him being the best friend who is falling for his “brothers” wife. And if your imagination is anything like mine, forget hot, this guy is off the charts, fan-fucking-tastic! Here’s what I love about how the author wrote him. She didn’t add any unnecessary drama with him. Usually when the heroine is going through so much, some authors create more drama for her with the hero, which is sometimes overwhelming for the reader. Here, Ms. Michaels wrote a character that eased the pain for Lee and it fit perfectly.

There, of course, is sex here. My personal opinion is that the sexual tension/foreplay scenes were written better than the actual sex. Don’t worry, it’s done well. Liam is sex on legs, so there isn’t going to be any want to be desired, the flame was there, just not burned as much.

Everything about this book will have you glued to the page. It’s a very tragic story that will teach us that maybe, just maybe the way things are, are the way they were supposed to be. You just have to get through all the suffering, so you can get your HAPPY.

Unexpected Fate (Hope Town Series, Book #1)

BXTCHES Gotta WarnWe first met Cohen Cage in the Security Corps Series (Cage). After reading this book, I don’t think that it is absolutely necessary to read that series first, although I have no idea why you wouldn’t read it, just for the pure joy it will bring you, but whatever. I will say this, a lot of the characters that we love from that series, will make an appearance (or more) in this book. So, really if you want to get the full on Corps Security experience, you should check out that series first. Trust me, it’s well worth it. Don’t believe me? Check out my review of the series here.

I know you must remember cute little Cohen Cage from the Corps Security series, right? Well, cute is out the window. The boy is now a man and he is HAWT! Dani Reid, yes, Axel and Izzy’s little girl, has been in love with Cohen since she can remember, and it’s now time to make him see what it is he has been missing out on. This book will be told through the POV of both Dani and Cohen.

Cohen has known that Dani (or as he calls her, Dani-girl) has been in love with him since she was 15 years old and in a defining moment for Cohen, she whispered her feelings to him. Over the years, he pulled that memory to help him get through some of his toughest times. The problem however, is Dani is almost 5 years younger than Cohen, so Cohen knew that because of the age difference there wasn’t much he could do then. Now, fast forward 6 years, Dani is now 21 and reveals once again to Cohen how she feels. Now in all fairness to Dani, she was extremely ill and drugged up on some high potency cough syrup. But for Cohen, it certainly stirs something in him.

Here is where the problem lies. Cohen has followed in his father’s footsteps and is in the military, and is getting ready to deploy once again. Not knowing how long this tour will take him, he doesn’t want to start anything up with Dani until he has a stronger and more stable hold on the future. Of course the other problem comes in the form of a very over protective father, who will stop at nothing to protect his only daughter AKA Axel Reid.

Dani will take Cohen however he comes, overseas or not and gets her wish after a particularly emotional going away party. Surely you can figure out now that Dani gets her guy. They make the decision to wait it out and once Cohen returns from overseas, that they will really give a relationship with one another a real shot. It wouldn’t be a true Corps Security book of any kind if there wasn’t any drama involved, right? Shortly after Cohen deploys, Dani starts to receive flowers every week. Thinking that they are from Cohen, she of course falls in love even more. Once she realizes that Cohen is indeed not the giver, hell will break loose. Dani has crazy after her and Cohen being overseas, can’t do a thing about it. While I didn’t think that it was too difficult to figure out the culprit, it was certainly a page turner and easy to figure out or not, it was well played.

By uncovering these behaviour patterns it is therefore possible for the individual to compensate for them through personal improvement. levitra properien thought about this
There is other drama involved, that I can’t really say too much about without giving it away, but as I read it and things unfolded, I will honestly say, I thought “again?”. But, after reading it, my exasperation was very short lived. You are going to be introduced to a whole new generation of Corps Security. Some will appear way more than others, but it was a joy to read these characters who were first introduced as babies.

You know what’s next. Oh multiple orgasm, Harper Sloan very seldom disappoints in the sex scene area. Once again, she wrote some fierce, throw you on your back, rip off your panties, sex. The sex was fantastic, if you didn’t pick that up by my description, but the other thing she did well and I need to thank her for, she made Cohen a great dirty talker. I am an advocate for dirty talk in the bedroom (real or fiction) and she made it “bite your lip” worthy.

I will confess that I read this book in 1 day. It was that good. I am someone who gets car sick when I read in an automobile, but today, I read in the car until I started to feel it come on. When we stopped at the store and my hubby ran in, I read. So, yes, I think that this book is wonderful. It does appear that this will be a series, which makes me super excited. So stay tuned.

Tattered Love (Needles Kiss, Book #1) by Lola Stark

Tattered Love (Needles Kiss Series, Book #1)

This is book #1 in the Needles Kiss series by Lola Stark and will focus on the relationship between Scarlett Garcia and Mace Torres. This book will be told through the POV of Mace and Scarlett.

There are a few things in life that Scarlett Garcia loves fiercely: her car, her friends and her tattoo shop. With no desire to be in love at the moment, she is quite content in the life that she has made for herself. That is until Mace Torres walks through her door.

Mace is the older brother of Trip, who works at the tattoo shop with Scarlett. He is returning home for good from the military and his first destination, to see his little brother. What he gets is a little more than a “welcome home”.

The chemistry between Mace and Scarlett is apparent from the very beginning. What starts out as something maybe a little casual, turns into more than either of them expected. Mace is staying with his brother Trip for the time being and conveniently, Scarlett lives right across the street. The author wrote Scarlett going against the usual stereotype for a leading lady, which I love. She loves cars, helped her dad rebuild hers, she loves ink and piercings and is just a downright anti-girly girl, who happens to have a fondness for sexy underwear and great shoes. She has a crazy BFF in Teeny and what you see is what you get. There’s not too much drama surrounding her, which is good because Mace is going to have enough for both of them.

Mace is fresh from the military and instantly is attracted to Scarlett. After lots of serious back and forth flirting, a date is agreed upon and well, their relationship is kicked off. I liked Mace, I thought he was well written, loves his family, very protective and of course, HOT. He does carry some pretty heavy baggage, though. I won’t give it away, only because I think the author intended for it be more of a reader reveal. I will however tell you that there is a crazy ex involved. Honestly, crazy may be too nice of a word for her. It always humors me when the Alpha male is a serious military type, but can never see crazy when it’s right there in their face. Just a flaw, nothing too off putting.

Is there really “the one”. There will be setbacks for them along with some drama, but all in all, it’s just fun to read it unfold and develop what was casual fucking into something that is meant to last a lifetime.

I thought that this book blended the right amount of funny, sex, and drama. The characters here were very well written. They weren’t overly done up and they had just enough side story to set you up for the next book.

The sex in this book was fantastic. My only problem with it, was the amount of times they were doing it. I’m all for young love and you can’t keep you hands to yourself, but really, what vitamins are you taking to go hours, non stop? But, the fact that Mace is a dirty talker and there is a funny shower scene (that could totally happen in real life) makes up for that slight flaw.

Overall, great and quick read. I was able to get through it in about a day and a half. This is my second time through the series, but it’s been so long since the first time I read it, it really was like reading a new book all over again. According to author’s website, there will be a book #3 (Forbidden Love) which will focus on Haven (the little sister to Mace and Trip) as of now, there is not a release date, keep an eye out.
