BXTCHES Gotta Warn: We have finally gotten to Nico’s story (YAY!), but before you start, let me tell you this. Technically you can read Until Nico as a stand-alone, but if you haven’t yet fell in love with Asher, Trevor, or Cash, stop, go back, and do that first. Each book in this series does focus on a different couple, and you will definitely need to feel the dynamic of the Mayson family but in order for that to properly happen, these books need to be read in order (my opinion). It’s especially important if you plan on reading the Until Her or Until Him series, which focuses on the next generation of Mayson’s. This is not coming as a recommendation from the author, again, this is just my personal opinion. You have now been warned.
Until Nico will be told through both lead POV’s.
Sophie Grates has had a tough life. She lost her mother when she was just a teen and shortly after was almost raped by a man that her dad invited into their home. She became emancipated shortly after and then joined the Job Corps. Her recent move to Tennessee was her trying to start her life, one that she was really living inside of a box, afraid of the outside world. Of course that all changes when she loses her cell and it is found by the one and only Nico Mayson.
If you remember from the previous books, Nico was the one who didn’t really believe in the curse. He was perfectly happy with one night bed warmers and wasn’t looking for “the one”. Once Nico lays eyes on the beautiful librarian, he knows that the Mayson curse is true because he just found his BOOM. He may have found his BOOM, but trying to convince Sophie of this is going to take a lot of work.
Sophie is certainly more than a little afraid of jumping into a relationship. For starters, she’s a virgin, then add in the loss of her mother at such a young age and you have her fear of getting too close to someone just to have them taken away and Nico’s job doesn’t help alleviate that fear (he’s a bounty hunter). But, you know them Mayson boys, once their mind is made up, they are going to get what they want and while it may have taken Nico some time to get Sophie to understand that not only will he protect her, but that the idea of Sophie and Nico is a good one and will happen, things speed up.
Because of Sophie’s inexperience, she doesn’t really recognize when she is being hit on. Case in point. . .David. He is a teacher at the middle school where Sophie is a librarian and once Nico shows up to really stake his claim, David informs Nico that Sophie doesn’t date, so really Nico shouldn’t waste his time. Nico is able to see David motives, but Sophie really believes that he is just being friendly. However, David may just come back to haunt the happy couple.

At this point, I suggest you hang on tight, because it may become bumpy road, but it is definitely going to be an adventurous one. And like the previous installments, drama is aplenty.
Well, if you have red all of the Until books up to this point, then those couples from the past books will be making appearances in Until Nico, along with a few new characters. This is one of the things I do love about most series, I enjoy falling in love with one couple and having them reappear in subsequent books. I feel that my connection with them warrants updates and for the most part you get that with Until Nico. Sophie and Nico’s relationship starts shortly after Cash and Lilly (book #3), so they are almost side by side and their two stories are going to intertwine further into the book as well.
Get ready to have your fire started because Nico in between the sheets is the stuff you want porn to be made of. I did like how Aurora Rose Reynolds had Nico wait and really get Sophie ready before going the distance sexually. It also created some serious sexy sexual tension between the two of them. Let me just say this, if it’s some panty ripping, sheet scorching, drop to you knees, sex you are looking for, then you will find it here.
A little truth. I first read this book in June 2014 and have probably read it at least 3 more times since. I was probably looking forward to Nico’s story more than any of the other Mayson boys, I mean c’mon, for starters, look at that cover, I didn’t even need to see any more of him, my imagination is creative enough. Until Nico was a really great bookend to a really great series. What’s even better? Well, we are going to be re-visited by all of these characters in the next generation and the first books in the Until Her and the Until Him series are both available now.
