Wanted (B & S Series, Book #2) by Kimberly Knight

Wanted is book #2 in the B & S series and is a continuation of Brandon and Spencer’s story. In order to enjoy this book in the manner in which the author intended, please make sure that you have first read, “Where I Need to Be”.

This book will pick up right where book #1 left off and will be told through the POV of Spencer. Now, if it’s been awhile since you have enjoyed the first book, then let me refresh your memory real quick. Remember psycho Christy? I guess psycho doesn’t really describe her to her full crazy, but she did try to kill Spencer all the while claiming to be pregnant with Brandon’s baby. Come to find out (surprise!) that she was not pregnant, just kooky.

So this book keeps the story going. You’re going to have to prepare yourself, because there is sooooooo much happening that it is a bit overwhelming and not in a great way. I think it’s best if we just jump right in.

After the attempted murder of Spencer and upon returning to Brandon’s condo, they both realize that living there is really not going to work. They scrubbed and scrubbed, but had no luck in getting up the blood stain left behind, so what better time than that to ask Spencer if she wanted to move in with him? Well, not at the condo, but buying a house, together. She of course says, YES, but in the meantime, Brandon is going to move in with Spencer and put his condo up for sale.

During all of this time, Ryan is planning her wedding to Max. Since Spencer is the MOH, the wedding and planning of, have somewhat of a “front and center” part of the storyline. But before that takes place, there is still the opening of a Club 24 in Seattle and Christmas and New Years to get through.

Brandon and Spencer will spend Christmas in Texas with his parents and brother. I enjoyed the change of scenery for the book, especially being a Texan myself, but there is an incident with his brother and his brothers date that I thought was strange. It was more like a puzzle piece that didn’t fit. This part of the book was peculiar, it didn’t gel with the book the way that I hoped it would. It wasn’t necessarily poorly written, it was just odd.

New Years will be celebrated in Seattle with the grand opening of Club 24. Becca has found her place in the “girlfriend circle” with Spencer and Ryan, just as Max has found new friends in Brandon and Jason, so all is well and the group is growing. Now prior to the girls leaving to meet up in Seattle, Spencer runs into Trevor again outside of the gym. She has now figured out the this is more than just a coincidence. But really there is nothing she can do about it.
For other women, the symptoms can be debilitating, greatly affecting their lives. cialis generic no prescription Men who have problems regarding swallow of drugs are advised to choose purchase generic viagra the best herbal remedies like Shilajit ES capsules. Here is where I’m going to have to be very vague. I’m all for drama in a book/series. I think it adds to a great story and if done well, can really keep the page turning and the reader on the edge of their seat. Having said that, what happens in this book is too much. I was okay with the showdown between Christy and Spencer, I though it was a bit extreme, but considering the crazy that was Christy, I got it. What happens in this book, had me shaking my  head. I really thought that the book could’ve done without it or it could’ve been tapered down a bit. But, read it and you be the judge.

TravASS does make another appearance, this time he actually has the balls to show up at Ryan’s wedding. I’m not sure if this is the last that we will see of him, but he most certainly provided some good entertainment.

I guess it’s that time, the SEX time. I thought it was well written, unfortunately since I’m not 100% stoked about this book, it’s difficult for me to get fired up about all of the lovin’.

Not my favorite book. I really feel that the dialogue was kind of campy and somewhat predictable. It was almost forced. It wasn’t a horrible read, I did finish it. I just had high hopes for this one. I’m hoping the finale in this series is going to bring it back to life for me.

Wild Reckless

After reading this, “the boy next door” will take on a whole new meaning.

This book is going to introduce us to Kensington (Kensi) and Owen and will be told through the POV of Kensi. This book is a journey and one that deserves the scenic route. So hang on tight because this poignant story is going to take you on a quest for love and discovery.

The book will start (prologue) with a 5 year old Owen and his father attending the annual Wilson Orchard Apple Fest. It’s Owen’s first year to experience this festival and he couldn’t be more excited, because the one thing that Owen is looking forward to the most is riding the ferris wheel. The prologue is told through little Owen’s POV and throughout this chapter, he mentions often how his dad talks to himself and “has arguments within his own mind” and as a 5 year old, Owen learned to ignore it and not pay it much attention, until it turned his world upside down and Owen Harper’s life would never be the same again.

We are now going to fast forward 13 years and meet Kensington Worth. It’s Kensi’s senior year and she finds herself having to start all over. She has moved to Woodstock with her parents and even though she is against the idea, her parents have sold the move as being a convenient halfway point between both of their jobs. I will go ahead and point out that there is more to the move than meets the eye, but remember, you are on a journey, and it would be a huge buzzkill if I told you all about the stops before you arrive at your destination.

Kensi is musically gifted. She is a whiz on the piano, mostly due to her father’s influence, and while she loves playing the piano, she really isn’t a fan of the classical stuff, even though that is her dad’s preference. Her passion lies more with jazz. She is someone who is moving from private school to public school and that alone is going to take time away from her practice. She isn’t really a kid who goes out of her way to please her dad, in fact, I think that it is quite the opposite. And since she is a musician attending a public school, marching band it is, which brings a small smile to her face, because she knows this is not going to please her dad. Even though I’m somewhat brushing over the music storyline here, it does play a pretty big role, but again, discovery.

Owen is Kensi’s neighbor and to anyone on the outside looking in, would assume that Owen is also bad news. In fact, not only Owen, but the entire Harper clan would be bad seeds. Owen is very talented with the basketball and is on the school team, but his responsibilities to his family require him to split his time between school and work. Upon their first meeting, Kensi is somewhat intimidated by Owen. His driveway lacks a basketball hoop, but Kensi’s has one and that is where he practices, it’s also the place where Kensi can admire from afar.

Now, since this story is told through the POV of Kensi, you don’t really know how Owen feels upon first meeting her. You know that she is captivated by him, mainly because she has never come across someone like him. She may be middle class, but the environment of her last school is anything but middle class and the boys she encountered there were privileged. As the reader, you get the impression that Owen feels some sort of attraction towards Kensi, because he taunts her. Kensi is certainly curious about Owen, but her group of friends are part of the “outside looking in” and are quick to inform Kensi about all of Owen’s faults. The only exception to this is Ryan, he makes sure to come to Owen’s defense anytime someone speaks poorly of him. There are so many stops on this wonderful journey, and unfortunately, I’ve only given you a tiny preview of what’s to come.

Ahhh, Owen. He was so beautifully written, that even if he fulfilled a lot of the bad boy requirements, you are going to love him. Of course this book is about the relationship between Owen and Kensi, so it’s doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that they in fact, do become a couple, so I can at least comment further on that, without ruin. When we first meet Owen, he appears to be somewhat of a pro when it came to the ladies, so I was expecting his past to dictate his future a litte bit at least, but he never went down that road, he was all in and the intensity in which he opened himself up to Kensi was exquisite. You could almost feel his pain, which cannot be easy to write, so kudos to Ms. Scott for translating that to the page so well.

Kensi, for me, was pure strength. She goes through some sh*t in this book, but always pushes forward, even when it’s uncomfortable for her and given her age, most girls would’ve crumbled. While they may appear to be total opposites, Owen and Kensi are just what the other needs.

I adored the supporting characters (well, for the most part). They were very well structured and so well written, that you know they were never an afterthought. They are a part of the totality of this book.

That is how I feel about Ginger Scott. I don’t have to sample her book, I just buy it, because I know that in some capacity, the words that she has put on the page are going to move me somehow. My only bone to pick is, I was all “Team Reed” until this book found it’s way onto my iPad and now I am almost 100% positive I’m “Team Owen”. Ginger Scott, you’re making book boyfriends very difficult for me.

I read a lot of extraordinary books and to use that word as an identifier for a book, is something that I do not take lightly. I enjoy a lot of books as well, but that doesn’t make them all extraordinary. So if I read a book and while reading, I can literally see the movie playing out in my imagination, it’s pretty damn good. This is Ginger Scott. She is going to grab a hold of you and pull you into her book and not let go until she’s ready for you to go. It doesn’t matter what your plans are, if you start a Ginger Scott book, you better be prepared to have it on you at all times, because it will eat at you until you open it back up and continue on. That is an extraordinary book and Ginger Scott is an extraordinary writer.

Strings of the Heart (Runaway Train Series, Book #3)

I kinda feel as though the first books in this series have been setting us up for this one book. Now, you could, in theory, read this as a stand alone, but I don’t really believe that doing that is what the author intended. Here’s the thing, the books in this series all intertwine and if you decide that this is where you want to be a rebel, DON’T! You need to read the preceding books first. I’m doing you a favor, trust me. On a side note: this book will tell the story of Rhys and Allison and will be told through both POV’s.

Like I said, the previous books have somewhat set us up for this one. If you remember from book #1 when Runaway Train went to play at the sweet sixteen party of Jake’s little sister? Well, that little sister is Allison and Allison has been in love with Rhys since she was 13. This book will actually begin (prologue) at that sweet sixteen party, but told through the POV of Allison, so as the reader you are able to grasp her affection for him. The book will then fast forward 4 1/2 years, Allison is on tour with Runaway Train and is the nanny for Jake and Abby while completing an internship for her degree.

While the book may start with Abby on tour with Runaway Train as a nanny/apprentice, the relationship between Rhys and Allison began three months prior to the tour. Think back to book #2, when Jake asked Rhys to check in on Allison while he was visiting his parents in Savannah, that is where “Rhys and Allison” kick off. During that visit, things eventually get heated and after an emotional night and lots of tequila, well, things happen. Unfortunately, it was making love for Allison and Rhys wasn’t really able to come to terms with the emotions he was feeling at the time and being a man, he does what men do, pushes her away.

A good chunk of this book will take place during those several weeks in Savannah and honestly at first, I wasn’t too excited about the flashback. I really wanted to focus on the here and now, but after reading those chapters, I really love the way the author wrote the time in Savannah. We really get to see Rhys and who he is during this time. You not only understand, but you support his disdain towards his parents. Trust me, he will eventually have his asshole moments, so you will need that understanding so you can continue to fall in love with him.

During the moments in this book that take place in Savannah, there are no visits from the characters that we have grown to love. You will be briefly introduced to some other supporting characters, that were really well written, but we don’t get back to the ones we love until they are back on tour. Even though we only get a glimpse of Gabe and Eli from Jacob’s Ladder, it is really a good glimpse and the author is setting us up for their own stories to be told. CANNOT WAIT FOR THAT!

Don’t let careers, kids, your spouse, housework and aging parents deprive you of the one thing that is responsible for this cialis on line purchasing here situation is poor blood supply to the different body parts in blocked.
As much as I hate to write this part, the only thing that disappointed me in this book (and this may be a bit of a spoiler) is this: when we meet Rhys’ family in Savannah, one of the members we are introduced to is Ellie, Rhys’ sister. She is autistic and the love Rhys has for her pours off of the page. She is not someone that Rhys talks about often, because he is very protective of her, which is understandable. Allison explains to him how unfair that is, especially considering that Lily and Brayden have a daughter, Lucy, who is on the Autism spectrum. Rhys seems to get it and agrees with her. However, once on tour, it is not brought up again and I was really looking forward to seeing Allison’s relationship with Ellie grow.

It’s that part of the review where we must talk about the sex. I know, it’s such a chore. While there may not be a ton of sex in this book, there doesn’t need to be, because it is so sensuous and if I’m honest, a little vulgar (in a good way, of course). So ladies, just leave the panties off for this one.

Prepare yourself, this book isn’t as light-hearted as the first books in this series. It’s a bit more impassioned. I didn’t think that I would enjoy it as much as I enjoyed Jake and A.J.’s stories, but Ms. Ashley proved me wrong. She wrote a very moving story, one that I think you will fall in love with. The next book in this series, Melody of the Heart, will actually feature Brayden and Lily and since they are high school sweethearts, it is going to be very interesting at how Katie Ashley tells this story and I am so excited to read it. Stay tuned.

Finding Spencer (B & S Series, Book #1.5)

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: This is not a stand alone novel. It is intended to accompany Where I Need to Be (Book #1) and should only be read after you have enjoyed that book.

I seriously am so excited that I re-visited this series by Kimberly Knight. Because, had I not, I would have never known that she wrote novella’s to accompany each of the books in this series and these novella’s were told through Brandon’s POV. Since I have already reviewed book #1 (check out review, here), this review is going to go very quickly, so hang on tight.

I am a fan of books that are told through the male POV, especially if it is done well. If I am going to read a book either entirely told through the male POV or shared with the female POV, I need for it to be in “hot, alpha, male speak” and not to appear that it has been written by a woman. And, I think here, Kimberly Knight, did a good job.

While I know a lot of readers find it quite redundant for an author to re-write the same book, I personally LOVE IT and let me tell you why. When books are solely told through the female POV, parts of it get lost or are just pieces of a puzzle, especially when there is a lot happening within the male’s story, which is the case in this series.

This book does not cover the entire story, which is why it is important to read book #1, but it definitely covers the important features of the book. Being able to be inside the thoughts of Brandon when some of the events occurred, for example, the first time he saw Spencer or when Christy told him she was pregnant, or the dance in Vegas, being able to approach those and witness them from Brandon’s perspective really just added an additional layer to this story, which for me, just enhanced it.
He’d continue to appear in lots of hit television series including Hill Street Blues, levitra 40 mg Laverne & Shirley, and Sisters. #14 O.J. With the removal of such blockages, it leads for the blood vessels to get clogged & thus, men tend to face issues but they have greater issues and tensions in their life as tadalafil from cipla compared to those of the rest.
While I expected the sexual perspective to be somewhat different through the eyes of Brandon, it really wasn’t too off from Spencer’s. Like I said before, the author did a good job writing some really hot scenes.

I appreciate the author writing an accompaniment with each book in this series. It allows the reader to really dig into the story by knowing what each of the characters are going through and allows you to really fall in love. This novella was easily read in less than one day, so there’s not too much time that needs to be invested into it.

Where I Need to Be (B & S Series, Book #1)

In my continuing effort to re-read books in order to review them, I am glad that I spontaneously chose this book. I had no idea that the author wrote a novella to accompany each book in this series, told through Brandon’s POV. Ignorance is not bliss in this case and lucky for me, this series just got a bit extended.

In this book, we will be introduced to Spencer (yes, the female) and Brandon. Spencer is just coming out of a 2 year relationship with Travis, or as her BFF dubs him, TravASS. Spencer had the unfortunate (or maybe fortunate, depending on how you see it) luck of walking in on Travis going at it with his secretary. Like any woman in her position, she is having a hard time getting over what happened. Brandon is currently in a relationship with a bit of crazy, really, it’s a lot of crazy. Brandon’s version of crazy doesn’t take “we’re breaking up” easily. This book will be told through Spencer’s POV.

Brandon is the co-owner of a gym that Spencer has the luck of checking out for her job. And since she’s been in sort of a funk since she caught TravASS cheating on her, she figures that maybe her current assignment for work will help pull her from her misery. It’s when Brandon jumps on the treadmill next to hers that her breath catches. She has a hard time believing how gorgeous this guy is, but she also notices him checking her out. Throughout the rest of her workout, she finds herself looking for Brandon and finds Brandon seeking her out. This continues for a couple more visits at the gym but it really knocks her socks off when Spencer and her BFF, Ryan (also female) plan a girls’ weekend in Vegas and show up at the airport and see no other than, Brandon. After dancing with Brandon and using his leg to aid in her orgasm and then losing her winnings to him in a high stake Texas Hold Em’ game, Spencer’s weekend in Vegas is complete.

Once they are both back home in San Fransisco, Spencer and Brandon begin a relationship, which is a problem for the crazy ex, Christy. Oh, and she is going to add some problems. I can’t give away too much of her crazy, because that will give some of the juiciness of this story away, but you will definitely be wondering, how is it that these wonderful book boyfriends that we all fall for, ALWAYS seem to have their “crazy-dar” broken? Crazy or not, I did think that the storyline involving Christy was a little much, personally I think it could’ve went a different way and been a little more believable. There is some other crazy going on, involving other characters, but this book only skims the storyline, so I assume it will be further developed in succeeding books.

SHUT MY MOUTH, I CANNOT BELIEVE I SAID THAT. But truthfully, there is a lot, but I can say, the author wrote it well. It is passionate and I thought for the most part is was hot. My only question mark was, the level of the libido between Spencer and Brandon was off the charts, but hey, what do I know, I hope that somewhere, there are two people that every time they are alone in a room together, clothes are coming off. I need to get on board that train.

The supporting characters here are written well. I don’t think that they are written so you become really invested in them, but they’re written well enough to give you somewhat of a background with their connection to Spencer and/or Brandon.

Overall, I think that Kimberly Knight wrote a good book. It was a story well told and the book was an easy read. There were no moments where an emotional break was required and I found myself continuing to go back to the story when I did have to put it down and I’ve read it before, so that should speak for something. Unlike previous books that I revisited, this book was just as good as I remembered. So, if you’re looking for a quick read with characters that you can invest in, here you go.

Music of the Soul (Runaway Train Series, Book #1.5)

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: You must read the first two books in this series (Music of the Heart and Beat of the Heart) before reading this one.

This book is really more like a novella, compared to the other books in this series. This book will follow Jake and Abby from the day before their wedding to several years later. It will be told through both Abby and Jake’s POV’s.

This story kicks off the day before Jake and Abby indulge in wedded bliss. They are actually getting married in Mexico with only their closest family and friends, but are having a “pre-wedding” dinner on their farm for those who will not be attending in Mexico. The first several pages are actually quite somber, Jake needs to make a very difficult trip to see his mom and if you remember from book #1, you know how much her death affected him. The wedding is going to fly by here, it’s more of a glimpse, the main focus in this book, is what happens after the nuptials.

It’s no secret that Abby is pretty excited to start a family, especially after Mia brought Bella into the world and Abby was chosen as the Godmother. Jake on the other hand, wants to tour more and really just spend time as a “Jake and Abby” before adding kids to the mix. Truth is, because of Jake’s own father and how his dad’s relationship ended with his mom, Jake is pretty hesitant to start a family and really questions his overall ability to be a good dad. Of course, he hasn’t shared this with Abby. In fact, Jake and Abby have a pretty big fight on just the 2nd night of their honeymoon over having children.

An online pharmacy is the best alternative any person can have against any medical condition. http://robertrobb.com/are-there-really-any-moderate-democratic-candidates/ online cialis You will order generic viagra http://robertrobb.com/ignored-realities-in-the-brexit-debate/ want to have your blood tested periodically to ensure the current program is optimized for your individual needs. 4. While most drugs can produce extremely painful alcohol withdrawal symptoms, there are only few which can cause levitra viagra online chronic persistent pain. How Erectile Dysfunction Occurs Despite the fact that cialis doctor has the fastest appearing time, its most substantial draw again is its decreased absorption due to meals acquire. I’ve said about all I can without giving too much of the storyline away. This is a pretty tense book. My feelings definitely went both ways here. I understood where Jake was coming from, especially with what happened during the “honeymoon fight” and the fears that were admitted then. But I really felt for Abby here. She really experienced jealousy when babies seemed to be happening to everyone around her. And then of course, guilt would overwhelm her because of the jealousy.

Overall, this was a very quick read (finished in just 1 day) and it really gave a fantastic glimpse into the first several years of Jake and Abby’s married life. Since this is a really fast read and the main focus is Jake and Abby, there isn’t a whole lot of visits from the other Runaway Train members. There are some, so don’t freak out, just not what you are accustomed to.

Keep going with this series, the next book, Strings of the Heart, will move the focus to Rhys and Allison (you know, Jake’s little sister), so that one should really be a page turner.

Beat of the Heart Synopsis

Beat of the Heart (Runaway Train Series, Book #2)

We met A.J., the drummer of Runaway Train in book #1 and if you were anything like me, you absolutely adored him. Well, he’s back and this book is all A.J. This story will bring together A.J. and Mia and will be told through both POV’s.

This book doesn’t take place too much longer after Jake and Abby’s story ended, so there’s not much of a time gap between stories. Let’s first talk about A.J. and Mia. There’s not too much to tell about A.J., considering we met him in the first book, he’s the drummer of a hot band and he loves his job and he loves his women. Mia, from the outside looking in, is the total opposite of the type of woman expected to be one of A.J.’s. She’s the head nurse on the cardiac floor at St. Joseph’s hospital. Her family owns a wonderful Italian restaurant, Mama Sofia’s, named after her late, beloved grandmother. She was raised by her father, a former Atlanta Falcon’s football player and she is very proud of her Sicilian roots. She is also going through a very rough time in life. In the last year, she not only lost her grandmother, who helped raise her, but her she also caught her fiancé cheating with a good friend of hers. Add the cheater in with another horrible relationship from her past and her confidence in finding a good man is not very high. But no worries, A.J. is about to come storming into her life.

Surely you remember Frank (the roadie) from the first book. Well, Frank has a heart attack and as tragic as it sounds, it is the fate that brings A.J. into Mia’s world. Sparks fly instantly between A.J. and Mia, but with Mia’s past she is hesitant to pursue anything, casual or not, with anyone at this time. However, she has never encountered a man like A.J. Once he, with the help of her BFF Dee, she is convinced that she deserves to have a little fun and really, what better way to let loose than with the likes of a hot rocker. After their first date and marathon sex fest, they both realize that one night will not be enough, so for 2 straight weeks they get to know each other very well.

Just like in the first book, Mia has a difficult time adjusting to A.J.’s lifestyle of a rocker. When a former flame comes into the picture, Mia has a really tough time accepting the fact that she is a former flame. Where Abby was somewhat quick to forgive Jake for the incident with Bree in the hotel room, Mia’s encounter with Kylie (the former flame) is a lot more challenging for Mia to forgive.

This book does involve a bit more drama than the first book did. There is the drama that surrounds just A.J. being a rock star, but the most drama involves Mia and her lack of trust in men, in general. This alone causes some serious tension between A.J. and Mia, forcing Mia to figure out if she is going to allow her past to dictate her future or if she is going to just let go and allow fate to do its job. She will need to make a decision because an incident (not really the right word, but the only one I can think of here) occurs and she is going to have to figure out if she trusts A.J. enough to put her faith into him.

While there was a lot of sexual tension in the first book, with very little actual sex, this book is full of fantastic f**cking. Katie Ashley wrote a wonderful book, but the way the she was able to put words onto a page and create panty melting sex scenes, was truly masterful. We could all use a little bit of A.J. in the bedroom.

I enjoyed Mia in this book, maybe not quite as much as I did Abby, but I do think that Mia and A.J. were a great match for one another. The one thing that kind of irked me, was Mia’s constant back and forth with her past. Now, I agree that her past is pretty unfair and the things that she has had happen to her would mess with anyone’s head. I just think that she milked it a lot and that played against her fiery, independent spirit. With all of that, I think that A.J. and his boisterous personality balanced it out.

Since this is a series featuring Runaway Train, they are making appearances in this book. The first book took place more on the road and the entire band was part of that scenario, in this book, it’s more about laying the groundwork for Mia and A.J.’s relationship. The band is still around, just more of background characters.

The second book did deliver. It was told really well and read quickly. I love series where each book features a new beginning but allows you to still stay connected with the other stories. I think it allows the reader to really connect with each relationship and Katie Ashley does such a superb job in sucking the reader into each story and not letting go until the last page.

Music of the Heart (Runaway Train Series, Book #1)

Music of the Heart is book #1 in the Runaway Train series and a wonderful start to a fabulous series. This book will focus on the relationship between Jake Slater and Abby Renard and will be told through both POV’s.

Jake Slater is the lead singer of Runaway Train and is everything that you would imagine the front man of a rock group to be, mainly, a womanizing man whore. Abby is a young nursing student, trying to decide on whether or not to continue her dream of nursing or to pursue her dream of music. She has an opportunity to join Jacob’s Ladder, her brothers’s band. So how does a sweet and angelic girl (who happens to also be a virgin) wind up the object of Jake Slater’s desire? Well, she accidentally winds up on Runaway Train’s tour bus.

The plan was for Abby to meet up with her brothers at a music festival. While searching for their bus, she runs into a roadie, who happens to be putting the moves on a groupie, when she asks for assistance in finding the bus for Jacob’s Ladder, the roadie thought she said Jake Slater and then proceeds to guide her to the bus of Runaway Train, where she then finds herself in the bed of one hot rocker.

This is really where the story picks up. Once Abby realizes that she is in fact on the wrong bus and is not in the middle of some practical joke, she freaks out a bit. Once she calms down and speaks with her brothers, Jake then throws down the challenge: he bets her that she couldn’t handle living on a bus with Runaway Train, even for a week. Well, Abby has never been one to back down from a bet, so she happily accepts.

She immediately hits it off with the other 3 members of the band, AJ, Rhys, and Brayden. However, it’s Jake that she feels herself drawn towards. Even though he is known for his womanizing ways, he too, feels a connection towards Abby. But this connection is somewhat foreign to Jake and he has no idea how to process what it is he’s feeling. So much so, that the first dinner Abby shares with the band, Jake claims that there is no way that he could “get it up” for a virgin (yes, she did let that little bit of info slip), to prove him wrong, Abby takes to the karaoke stage to perform “Like a Virgin” in a very seductive manner, just to prove Jake wrong. Needless to say, he very much could “get it up” for a virgin. Being frustrated, he excuses himself to the restroom, only to be accosted by his waitress, pushed into the storage room where she proceeds to take care of his erection problem that was brought on by Abby. As fate would have it, he runs into Abby as he and the waitress are coming out of the store room. This is Abby’s first glimpse of the rock and roll lifestyle that runs Jake’s life and the first time that she feels that any sparks that may have flown between her and Jake, are irrelevant, there is no way that she can see herself falling for someone who lives the lifestyle he does. All of that changes when he gets some pretty devastating news from home and finds himself needing a shoulder to cry on.
No matter pfizer viagra online what is the nature of your problem and you needs to be able to appreciate the necessity for patience and perseverance. Other researches also describe that the chemical compound could be effective enough. levitra 40 mg is a product which comes with a sure shot guarantee that it would definitely show a person the best results and one would get over erectile dysfunction then he should take levitra. I thought that this story was well told and even though there were parts of Jake that were very assholeish, the author still managed to make the reader fall in love with him. I know that it’s hard to believe the pace at which these two fell for one another. The book expands past the initial week Abby is on the bus, but by the end of the week is when the connection between the two is solidified. But here’s what I think about the “love at first sight”, Katie Ashley manages to latch on the readers’ imagination and captivate you to where you don’t think about the timeline, you just focus on the passion that is on the page. That’s what made this such a great read.

There is some serious sexual tension pouring from this book. Abby may be a virgin when this book begins, but she most certainly isn’t by the last page. There’s not a whole lot of sex in this book, but the sex that is written, is very carnal. It definitely fits into the “rock star” intensity that readers are accostomed to.

This is the first book in the Runaway Train series, so you will of course meet the other members of the band, to set you up for subsequent books. Get ready, this is a wonderfully written series. I can usually predict my love for a book by how often I’m grabbing for my iPad to get back to the story and even though this is the 2nd time I have read this one and I found myself not only reading it every opportunity I could, I also found that I enjoyed it much more the 2nd time around. Book #2 will showcase A.J., which after this book, you should already find yourself falling for.

Rockstar Daddy (Decoy Series, Book #1)

Lordy, I’m so torn on this review. I first read this book back in October 2013 and at that time, I loved this book. Since it was so long ago that I read it, I figured I needed a good re-read in order to write a review. I don’t really want to give everything away in the first paragraph, so let’s get started.

Book #1 in this series is going to focus on the relationship between Kendal Moore and Jax Parker and will be told through both POV’s. Kendal and Jax fell met and fell in love while they were in their early 20’s. Together for 2 years, Kendal was a college student and Jax was lead singer for a local band, Decoy. When Kendal finds herself pregnant, she is not just shocked, but realizes that in order for Jax to see his dreams for Decoy come true, she is going to have to end her relationship with him and keep the pregnancy a secret.

Now it’s four years later and Decoy is a huge success and Kendal is finding her way with the help of her parents and friends as a single mom to Finley. She is fulfilling her dream as a hairdresser, but as her son gets older, she starts to question her decision in keeping Finley from Jax.

Once word gets around that Decoy is back home and making plans to stay a while, Kendal now knows that she is going to have to find a way to come clean to Jax. The problem, she’s not sure on how to find him. Little does she know that fate is working that out for her all on it’s own.

Kendal has a great group of long time friends (Jessica, Tanya, Maisy) and when she meets Sophie, it’s just one more girlfriend to add to the group. Sophie just so happens to be the fate that is going to intervene right smack in the middle of Kendal’s life.
Blockage of the sphincter of Oddi does not happen because you tried to change the relationship or you tried to change the relationship or you tried to end the pattern of icks.org levitra without prescription binging and purging. The condition is caused http://icks.org/n/data/ijks/1482467798_ij_file.pdf order generic viagra by tight foreskin. You may be eligible to icks.org generic cheap viagra take testosterone which may help with your menopausal symptoms and they may have a limited knowledge of in uncontrolled, non sterile conditions.
There’s a lot I’m not saying here, I gotta keep some mystery. Here’s the nitty gritty. First, I think that the story line here is a really good one, but I think that the author struggled putting the whole thing together. The book is very unnecessarily wordy. There are a lot of times where the author described things, that almost made me feel like she was trying to fill space. Kendal was a little bit of a dual personality character. She appears at times to be fiercely independent and someone who really knows who she is. But enter Jax and everything seems to turn to mush. For example, once they rediscover one another, Jax makes it pretty clear about his feelings regarding Kendal, which are strong, but every time he makes a comment that is even remotely flirtatious, her inner dialogue questions it “Clearly he couldn’t mean me?” Also, the “I left him so he could pursue his dream, but I think I made the wrong decision” was beaten to death, I don’t know if it was to fill space or she was really trying to get her point across. I do think that the story was told well from Jax’s POV. The author did a good job with “male speak”.

The supporting characters in this book are written very well. There is great chemistry among all of them. The only one I’m on the fence about is Mark, there was just something about him that kind of rubbed me the wrong way. Now I know I pointed out a lot of “bad” with the story, so let me focus on some of the good. The way the author wrote the relationship between Kendal and Finley was lovely. She did a really job not focusing on the stress of single motherhood and instead focusing on the beauty of motherhood. The relationship that Kendal had with her parents was also written really well. Even though Kendal got pregnant at a really young age and as far as her parents knew, it was more of a one night stand (the story she sold them), they never held that against her.

While this may not be my favorite rock star series, I will continue to read it, if anything, to get the closure. I’m not really sure if I can give this series a full on recommendation, especially if you’ve read series such as Stage Dive or the likes of. However, if you haven’t yet had the pleasure of indulging in some Rock Star love, then this is a good series to start with.

Reasonable Doubt (Episode 1)

This is the first of three episodes in Whitney G.’s Reasonable Doubt Series. Don’t be frustrated, all 3 episodes are out and you will want to buy all 3, just to make it easy to go from one to another, trust me, I know this from experience.

This first two episodes are pretty short and very quick reads. Therefore, this review will not be very long, but it will be very fulfilling. This book will kick off the relationship between Thoreau (real name Andrew) and Alyssa (real name Aubrey) and will be told through both POV’s.

Andrew is a high profile attorney in North Carolina, by way of New York. In the beginning of and at times throughout the story, you know that there is something from his past, that’s not shady, but has caused him some serious grief. You will not find out what the mystery is in this book. Andrew seeks out dates on the internet under the name “Thoreau”. The only thing he is looking for: “Casual sex. Nothing more. Nothing less.” Liars are a deal breaker. The only thing that he even looks forward to lately, are the conversations with his only friend, “Alyssa”. He met Alyssa on a lawyers only website. Not really a dating site, more of a professional advice site.

Aubrey is a pre-law student at Duke University. Her real passion though, is ballet. Her parents aren’t really on bored with the ballet part of her dream and part of the agreement is, she can study dance as long as she also studies law. She happens upon her mothers invite to “LawyerMatch.com” and needing academic assistance, she sets up a fake profile. This is where she stumbles upon Thoreau or Andrew. She of course leads him to believe that her name is Alyssa and she is in fact a first year lawyer.

Always ask for their registration numbers and check this out on viagra fast shipping the association’s website under “Find a Practitioner”. Stretching has been recognized as an effective exercise viagra samples canada for enlarging penis. You will be able to perform pharmacy australia cialis sex effectively and impress your partner. Whitney G. did such a fantastic job at creating chemistry between these two characters, that is so scorching hot, it is coming off of the pages. The storyline is so original and so well done, that I remember when I first read this book, that I actually followed updates from the author so I didn’t miss out on the release of the second book and when it didn’t show up when expected, readers started to freak out. Which, in my opinion was a little over the top, but you get the jest of how good this series is.

There’s actually not a ton of sex in this book, but the sexual tension and dirty talk in this book is so erotic and sensual, you don’t need the actual scenes.

This book is going to end on a “holy shit, did that just happen” moment. Hence, the need to buy the next 2 books ahead of time. Wonderful book, even better series. Go for it, you will not be disappointed.
