Beautiful Player (Beautiful Series, Book #5) by Christina Lauren

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: We are now on book #5 and with every book in a series, the same question is asked. . .Can this be read as a stand alone? I suppose it can, but you should really take this series in the order they have been written. Player is going to give us Will and Hanna’s story, while getting us caught up with Bennett and Chloe as well as Max and Sara. So, unless you’ve already enjoyed their stories, you’re not going to enjoy the full Beautiful experience. Again, for those taking notes here is the order so far, Bastard⇒Bitch⇒Stranger⇒Bombshell⇒Player

Player will be told through the POV’s of both Will and Hanna.

Hanna Bergstrom is a workaholic. So much so, that her family, her brother (Jensen) and dad in particular, are becoming increasingly concerned about her social life or lack thereof. Hanna is in New York along with Jensen’s friend from college, none other than. . .Will Sumner. So, Jensen arranges for Hanna and Will to hang out, really just an opportunity for Hanna to increase her social circle. Will spent a lot of time with Hanna and her family while he and Jensen were in college, even interning one summer for her dad. But, little does anyone know, Hanna harbored a secret crush on Will for years. Needless to say, things should get real interesting.

We met Will in Stranger and got to know him a little more in Bombshell. He is the science half of Stella and Sumner, the business he and Max run. One thing we learned about Will. . .he likes the ladies, in fact, he constantly gives both Max and Bennett a hard time for getting tied down to just one pussy, so surely you know where this is going, right?

Things start going really well with Will and Hanna. He has her running with him almost every morning, he’s introduced her to Chloe and Sara and enlisted their help in sort of making Hanna over, not that she really needs it, she just spends so much time in the lab (she is also on the science side) that her wardrobe kind of takes a back seat. With everything going so well, it doesn’t take too long for Will to start seeing Hanna as Hanna and not Ziggy (her childhood nickname). Not just her childhood nickname, but the only  name Will actually knew her by, he didn’t even know her name was Hanna.

One of the things that Will loves about Hanna is her lack of a filter. She tends to just say what is on her mind, whenever it pops in. She is especially curious about sex. She’s not a virgin by any means, but she also knows the reputation that comes along with Will. It only takes one night at a party for the relationship to quickly go from friends to the kind of friends who fuck.

That’s really the gist of Player. There is of course some drama that will come along with Will and Hanna, I mean Will is fucking a close friends little sister, so there’s that stress and not to mention whenever you have one person who lacks a ton of experience and another who has passed the experience around, things will get tense. But like always, I certainly don’t want to ruin any of the fun that comes along with the journey. You gotta walk through that yourself.

Like I said at the beginning of this post. . .we get caught up with both the Bastard and the Stranger in Player, so that’s why I feel it’s really important to have read this series in order. But anyway, Bennett and Chloe are in the middle of wedding planning hell while Max and Sara are still busy ravishing one another and will have some important news of their own. Again, this is a really good ensemble series and Player really highlights why. The camaraderie between Will, Bennett, and Max is on point and if you loved the relationship between Chloe and Sara before, adding Hanna to the mix is certainly going to have you falling even harder. The entire Beautiful cast is so well written, you will almost feel like you’re a part of them, that’s how well it sucks you in. I know, cheesy, but true.

We’ve gone through a couple of different kinds of fucking with these Beautiful men. Bennett and Chloe gave us some very aggressive, albeit super hot, fucking. We got to create a fuck-it list with Max and Sara, so really, how much hotter can it get? Well, his name is Will and get ready to lose the panties ladies, because Will and Hanna’s sexual relationship is all about education. She’s not a virgin, just inexperienced, but man oh man, once Will opens those floodgates, Hanna realizes just what it is she has been missing. With any great series you think one couple is definitely going to be your fav, until you read the next book in the series and fall even harder for that couple. Well, that is my world, because this BXTCH loves her some Will.

I can usually determine my addiction to a book by how often I find myself cracking open the iPad. If I find myself waiting in the school pick-up line reading OR telling my husband that he can run into the store without me, just so I can read OR escaping to the bathroom just to get in a couple of pages, then I’m quite certain I have become addicted. Christina Lauren has a very special gift of being able to really captivate you and make it almost impossible to put down, that’s why I insist on reading this series in order, because it is that hypnotizing. One-click, dive in, escape, TRUST, it’s worth it.

We’re about to move on to book #6 and it’s THE WEDDING!! On a side note, I thought this series had only 9 books, but I just realized on Amazon, that a book #10 is coming out in October (2016) and will actually be the series finale. So, my original plan to finish all 9 books this month is still on track, I’m actually halfway through book #7, so look out BXTCHES, I may actually accomplish something that I have started. Beautiful Bombshell (Beautiful Series, Book #4) by Christina Lauren

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: Let’s see if I can confuse the fuck out of you for a minute. Before you read Bombshell, you MUST first read Bastard (#1) and Bitch (#2). Now, you should also read Stranger (#3), but that one’s not as necessary as the first two. Max and Sara are prominent in Bombshell, but Bombshell is Bennett’s bachelor party, so you should probably have his full story before you take on this book, hence the suggestion to first read #1 and #2. Never mind, just read the books in order, trust a BXTCH, it will bode well for your entertainment. Because this series is more of an ensemble series, and while each couple gets their own book, they all play a part in each other’s books as well. So, in order to get the full blown Beautiful experience, just read the books in order. For those of you taking notes here you go. . .Bastard⇒Bitch⇒Player⇒Bombshell. We’ll continue this chain as we continue this series.

Bombshell will be told through the POV’s of Bennett and Max.

We’ve made it through the hate fucking, the break-up, the make-up, the falling in love, and even the part where Chloe is pissed because Bennett beat her to the proposal. Now, we are getting ready for the actual big day (which is actually still several months away) and we find Bennett, Max, Henry, and Will in Vegas for the one last hoo-rah.

We kick it off in none other than the strip club, okay not a strip club, more of a high end club that exudes a very sexual vibe. It’s not so shocking when you realize that it’s Max who has planned the getaway. Regardless, Bennett is not amused. Surprisingly it’s Henry, the married one, who’s having a great time. Now, Max is almost having to force Bennett to the private room for his own private dancer. Once Bennett begrudgingly makes his way to the room he is quite surprised to find out who his dancer actually is. . .Chloe. That’s right, the ladies are supposed to be in the Catskills for her celebration, but have detoured their way to Vegas. I’m gonna leave the private dance just right here. . .trust when I say that you are going to want to uncover that experience yourself.

Where there is a Chloe, you should probably expect a Sara and boy does she deliver. All I will say about Sara’s visit is this. If you have read Stranger (and if you haven’t, you should now be motivated to do so) just remember Sara and Max’s sex club visit(s) and that’s all I will say about that.
On the contrary, a plant-based diet boosts virility/fertility, is known for enhancing athletic performance, and supporting optimal health and viagra store in canada a youthful physique. How to gulp down it? cialis professional effects Ingest the pill using one complete glass of water. But if you search everywhere for sexual benefits as firmer installations, higher libido, more sperm manufacture and etc., then the Volume Pill is buy cialis a clear choice for you. Probably the most side effects viagra considerations to bear in mind like a first-generation college student.
Sara and Chloe aside (they make several appearances in Bombshell) the fun of the story is the relationship between the Beautiful Bastard (Bennett), Stranger (Max), Player (Will), and Henry (sorry, just Henry). Their friendship is so funny and super refreshing. There’s the strip club, there’s a bit of auto theft, there’s kissing a transvestite (don’t really like that word, sorry), there’s a card counting scandal. Bombshell has everything you’d want in a book that takes place in Vegas.

Let’s talk about the cast. It’s really just the core of men. We’ve already gotten Max’s story and you may fall in love just a little more when all is said and done. But I must warn you to get ready for Will. Will is Max’s business partner and the perpetual bachelor (or so he thinks) and really it’s just warming us up for Player, book #4. And I will go ahead and say that after reading Player, Will may very well be my favorite of the series thus far.

While the sex in Bombshell is minimal compared to the other books, the little bit that is there is well. . .the bomb. With the hate fucking that Bennett and Chloe are so good at giving each other and the voyeuristic sex of Max and Sara, all angles get covered and if anything will leave you wanting for more. Regardless of how much fucking there is (or isn’t) in Bombshell, Christina Lauren does not disappoint. Whether the lovin’ is taking place in an actual bed or somewhere in a high end club in Vegas, it’ll all get your heart pumping and loins wanting.

That’s it. Bombshell is short, sweet and to the point. More like a glimpse into “what’s happening” with the Beautiful crew and a way to get us all ready for Will’s story (and boy what a story it is) and the nuptials of Bennett and Chloe. This series is really starting to make this BXTCH very happy and longing for this series to maybe hit the T.V. screen, could you imagine, it would be so fantastic. Anyway, a BXTCH can dream. Christina Lauren. . .you have sucked me in and I am so excited to see where this series takes me. It’s now May 9 (2016) and it’s four books down and five to go. Beautiful Stranger (Beautiful Series, Book #3) by Christina Lauren

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: Can you read this as a stand-alone? Yes, I suppose you can if you’re that desperate to dive into Max and Sara’s story. Do I recommend it? Not really. I know that there are 9 books in this series and technically I have only read a total of 4 of them (though, I still need to re-read book #4, so that one may not count) so I may not really know what I’m talking about here, but just go with me for a sec. For me, this is more of an ensemble type of series. While each book may focus on a particular couple, other couples play a part in each book (as far as I can tell anyway), so I really think in order to get the full “Beautiful” experience, you should go in order. Now having said that, I now need to say the following. . .If you do go in order and start with Beautiful Bastard, DO NOT move onto Beautiful Stranger UNTIL you have read Beautiful Bitch. I had already read Beautiful Bastard, Beautiful Stranger, and Beautiful Player a very long time ago, which is why I decided to just start from the beginning, I needed to refresh. I re-read Bastard then went to move onto Stranger and was super confused, straight from the first page. The beginning of Stranger finds Chloe and Bennett along with Sara living in New York and I was 100% convinced that Bastard took place in Chicago, so along with other things that had me out of sorts, I went back. . .purchased Bitch. . .then everything fell into place. So, once again for the cheap seats. . .Bastard⇒Bitch⇒Stranger. We’ll cross the other Beautiful bridges when we get there.

Beautiful Stranger will be told through the POV of both Max and Sara.

If you read Bastard, you will remember Sara. She is one of Chloe’s BFF’s. Upon completion of the graduate program in which she was enrolled, she actually leaves RMG for another opportunity. With RMG opening up an office in New York, Bennett offers Sara a job, but with her life in Chicago, she declines. Well, she declines until she realizes her asswipe fiancee has been cheating on her. With that life changing news, Sara decides to take Bennett up on his offer and moves her newly single ass to the Big Apple.

We didn’t get a huge introduction to Max Stella in Bitch, but he was the one who loaned his French villa to Bennett and Chloe. Max certainly has a whorish reputation around New York, one that he will admit he has earned, but will not really apologize for. Just to kinda set you up to understand the “Beautiful Tree” if you will. . .Max knows Bennett from school (college in England). . .Max and Will (book #4) are in business together. . .RMG (Bennett’s company) and Max and Will’s company, do business together.

After Sara’s move to New York, she has made the decision to somewhat let her inhibitions free and go against her typical behavior. She puts her new found self to the test when a girls night out, turns into Sara gettin’ down to the business with a beautiful stranger in the recesses of the club. Turns out the beautiful stranger is none other than Max Stella. Thinking her wild adventure was a one time thing and not really expecting to see the beautiful Brit (ohh yes. . .he is British. . .yummo) again, she is certainly shocked when he shows up in her office.

After running into each other several more times, one of which finds Sara back down on a table with Max pounding pretty hard into her and her really loving the idea that at any time someone could walk in and observe her sprawled out and getting it pretty good. So, eventually it’s decided that Sara is really enjoying the voyeuristic sex with Max and since neither of them are really wanting to dive into a relationship, a monogamous fling is the way to go. . .but with rules. So, what are the rules? Well, Friday is the chosen day, never will they ever meet at one another’s residence, and it will be Max’s duty to send a text to Sara with instructions, if you will, of where to be. With the rules in place, Sara is about to take a walk a bit on the wild side and trust this BXTCH, it is certainly a journey.
Thus, generic Tadalis makes it possible for the man to have a better love making session. price of viagra tablet The use of technology in the classroom can serve as a unique aid to the students and teachers to notice and comment without judging or putting a value on a child’s achievements. viagra order canada As for diet, it is actually pretty simple. cipla viagra On the http://icks.org/n/data/ijks/1482461222_add_file_3.pdf soft cialis pills brighter side, the head noise could be completely removed when stopping the drug.
Surely you know where this story is headed. I mean. . .a notorious playboy. . .a jilted, somewhat inexperienced almost bride. . .no relationship rule. . .do we really expect for feelings to not get involved? While we may know where this is going, Max and Sara will make sure you have so much fun getting to the happily ever after.

As I said earlier, I do believe that this is an ensemble type of series and we do get a great dose of the cast of Beautiful characters that this series brings, ones we’ve already been introduced to and ones that Stranger will bring to us for the very first time. I do think that Max and Sara could certainly carry this story all on their own, but the way that the entire cast interacts with one another takes Stranger to the next level. This cast offers lots of laughs, love, anticipation, really, just an all around wonderful set of characters that will have you longing for the next book in the series.

Well, if you’ve gotten through the first two books in this series, then you already know that the sex between the characters in these books will curl the toes and ignite the sheets and Max and Sara do not disappoint. In fact, get ready to create yourself a “Fuck-It” list after tagging along on their sexual adventures. And one of those adventures may just involve a camera, some good lighting, and a really fucking sexy Brit (or your significant other, whichever). Like I said earlier, Sara is wanting to come out of her shell a bit and something that gets her juices flowing is the idea of getting caught, so Max’s mission is to set up scenarios where that could certainly become a reality. The only sexual partner she’s had is her ex-fiancee, so her experience is the bedroom is really non-existent. So, enter Max and her world is about to be blown up and yours is about to get introduced to some new adventures. Every lady could use a hot, sexy, and willing Brit. Sara is one lucky lady.

We’re well into this series and next up is the Bennett’s bachelor party in Bombshell and then Will gets his shot in Player. So, it seems like the more we move into this series, the better it gets and the more captivating it becomes. The storylines are fantastic, the characters are hilarious, and the Beautiful ones are definitely book boyfriend material. Beautiful Bitch (Beautiful Series, Book #2) by Christina Lauren

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: I’m thinking I need to clear something up. . .if you find the Beautiful Series on Amazon, then you will see that Beautiful Bitch is numbered 3 in this series, if you look on Goodreads, then it is numbered 1.5, so of course, that could be somewhat confusing for someone who is just beginning the series. If you remember in my review for Beautiful Bastard, I said that I had already enjoyed the first 3 books in this series (Beautiful Bastard, Beautiful Stranger, and Beautiful Player) and my goal was to finish the entire series (9 books) in the span of a month (I know, pretty lofty), so when I began my re-read of Beautiful Stranger (#3), I quickly realized that I needed to rewind and read Beautiful Bitch. Beautiful Bitch picks up around a year or so after Beautiful Bastard left off, with flashbacks that take us back to when Bennett and Chloe get back together and Beautiful Stranger starts after Beautiful Bitch, so long story short, read Beautiful Bitch after Beautiful Bastard and before Beautiful Stranger. Clear now? Good, let’s get started.

Beautiful Bitch will be told through the POV’s of Bennett and Chloe.

We know how we left Chloe and Bennett in Beautiful Bastard, but for fun, let’s recap. After the San Diego fiasco, where Chloe leaves Bennett. . .hearts are a  hot mess. Bennett is torn up and Chloe isn’t fairing much better. She quits RMG and moves to a smaller company to finish her internship. Once she’s getting ready to make her big presentation, who shows up? None other than Bennett. . .to the rescue. Apologies given, apologies accepted, presentation aced, all is good again. And, now that they have reconciled, Bennett can’t wait but make things right again the only way he knows how. . .between the sheets.

Unfortunately, his plan becomes a bit put off when he finds out that Chloe has made celebratory plans with Sara and Julia. But, all is good when Bennett is invited to tag along and all is better when Bennett and Chloe cut out early and celebrate in private.

This ensures that the muscles inside the penis do not get erect even though whole body is sexually active. sildenafil generic india http://amerikabulteni.com/2016/09/27/clinton-ve-trumpin-ilk-acik-oturumundan-notlar/ Focusing on his health condition Both diseases of male reproductive organs viagra generic sale and other diseases affect men’s sexual ability, such as diabetes. But, if you are embarrassed to cheap no prescription viagra do this, however. Therefore, Shilajit capsules and NF Cure capsules generic levitra 5mg are best herbal remedies for seminal discharge. Fast forward about a year and hectic doesn’t even begin to describe Bennett and Chloe’s current situation. RMG is getting ready to open up an office in New York and Bennett and Chloe will be transferring there, so with all of that happening, little time is left for an actual “Bennett + Chloe”. So, Bennett does what Bennett does best. . .take charge. He reaches out to a friend. . .borrows his friend’s French villa. . .plans a three week, romantic vacation for two. . .all in the name of love (and I’m quite certain some fucking).

So, this is the gist of Beautiful Bitch. It’s bringing the reader up to date with Bennett and Chloe, while providing flashbacks of what happened when we left them last. This story is really just about Bennett and Chloe. We do get some glimpses of Sara and Julia and we get to meet Max (French villa loaner friend), which is good, because he is book #2. Since this is really a novella (I’m not sure if it actually falls under those qualifications, but it is a really quick read) you only need some Bennett and some Chloe,  it’s not necessary to fill the pages with supporting characters.

Since the relationship was born from pure sexual desire, it only stands to reason that the fire is still burning, even though Bennett’s cock and Chloe’s puss aren’t seeing each other nearly as much as they would like. But in the short amount of time that it’s gonna take to finish the book, you’re literary mind will be sexually satisfied.

This BXTCH is now moving on to Max and Sara (book #2). My goal is still intact. . .and achievable, I will finish all 9 books within the month. Beautiful Bastard (Beautiful Series, Book #1) by Christina Lauren

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: Let me state the obvious here. . .I am super behind on this series. Okay, I have read the first 3 books, in fact, I have read this book alone about 4 times (because I’m a huge procrastinating BXTCH and kept reading then failing to review). My goal is to try and get all of the books in this series read in the next month, I’m not sure what it will say about my life if I complete the goal, but I say “fuck it”, I’m sure I’ll enjoy the escape. Interestingly, Beautiful Bastard started out online as Twilight fan fiction and eventually was re-written to become what it is now, and this BXTCH is certainly glad Bennett and Chloe came to be.

Beautiful Bastard will be told through the POV’s of both Chloe and Bennett.

I guess the best way to kick off this review is to just start from the beginning and with Chloe. Chloe Mills is a graduate student working toward her MBA and an intern at Ryan Media Group. Chloe has worked for Ryan Media for about six years, but has had the pleasure (insert sarcastic tone here) of working with Bennett Ryan for the last nine months or so. To say that Bennett is an asshole would be complimentary. But, if there is one person that can handle the likes of Mr. Ryan, it is definitely Chloe.

Ohh, Bennett Ryan, well here’s what you need to know about him. . .he’s a bastard albeit a beautiful one, but a bastard nonetheless. After living in Paris, he has returned home and joined the family biz and the powers that be (daddy-o) feel that he would the perfect mentor for Chloe, she is almost as tenacious as he is, so a match made in heaven. Who knew that under all of that aggression and hate towards Chloe was really just a hard cock wanting to come out and play?

After a day from hell, Chloe finds herself in a conference room preparing for a presentation one minute and getting fucked up against a window the next, by none other than. . .The Beautiful Bastard. Sexual tension, aggression and hate, all in the same when the clothes are being ripped off. Once the sexual seal was broken, there is no turning back.

Even though Bennett and Chloe try to end it, you know, with the “this is the last time” lie, it just doesn’t work. The downside is, Chloe is worried about her career. She has worked extremely hard and has earned everything coming her way, the last thing she wants to be labeled as, is someone who slept her way to the top. Unfortunately, the more Bennett and Chloe get tangled up between the sheets, well not sheets as much as. . .elevators. . .dressing rooms. . .offices. . .conference rooms. . .bathrooms. . .you get the idea, the more they begin falling for one another. But like all great romance novels, communication is not at the top of the priority list when your special parts are drawn together like magnets.
These tools can be nebulous, as in software, or material, as online order for viagra in hardware. Pomegranates A man gets benefits from consuming healthier, making efforts to get a better quality sleep, cialis women find that and decreasing or managing the stress levels.
The supporting cast in Beautiful Bastard is well written, but you definitely come to realize quickly that the meat of the story is really just Chloe and Bennett. The main support comes from Bennett’s family and Chloe’s BFF’s and those are somewhat minimal. I do feel that the supporting characters are certainly going to grow as the series moves on.

Beautiful Bastard is a very sexually driven book. I mean the whole relationship between Chloe and Bennett is platformed on their sexual chemistry, so it stands to reason that this book is going to send your B.O.B into overdrive. While Bennett may be an asshole bastard, he is an asshole bastard that knows his way around a pussy, so the sex scenes here are the kind that may have you taking notes and sharing with your other half.

This book certainly has a lot going for it. . .Hot Alpha Male? (check). . .Sassy, Strong, and Equally Hot Female? (check). . .Laugh Out Loud Humor? (check). . .Throw You Up Against the Wall Fucking? (check). Can you really go wrong with Beautiful Bastard? I don’t think so.

The things I love most about my favorite reads is the ability to escape, if only for an hour. Christina Lauren gives that and more in Beautiful Bastard. My other favorite thing?. . .Is being able to almost imagine the video version, a movie if you will, looping in my head while I read (I hope that makes sense). Christina Lauren gave me that in Beautiful Bastard. There’s was never a disconnect between the reader (well, me) and the characters and that to me takes a true talent.  So, thank you, Christina Lauren for providing that little bit of fantasy in a very chaotic reality.

I may have said that I have already enjoyed the next two books in the Beautiful series, and I have, but I will certainly have to re-visit so I can refresh. This is a wonderful start to a fantastic series, one that I believe would do great on television (are you listening HBO?). Go ahead and dive in, all books in this series are now out, so there is no sitting around, anxiously biting your nails waiting for the opportunity to one-click. And the best part? We’ll be enjoying them together.Bxtches Be Reading5 Star Read for Bxtches Be ReadingFavorite Quotes TagBeautiful Bastard (Beautiful Series, Book #1) by Christina Lauren | Review on www.bxtchesbeblogging.com

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: Here we go again. We are now six books into this series and it just keeps getting better and better. Once again, I feel it is my absolute duty to go ahead and let you know that Kill Shot is a book that can be read as a stand-alone. This book is going to feature Bennett and Lennox. And truth be told, Bennett is not someone who has been featured a lot in previous books. So, while the rest of the gorgeous gang and their woman do make appearances in Kill Shot, the true focus is on Bennett, Lennox, and the people that surround their lives. While I may say that it is okay to read this book as a stand alone (and I think you will enjoy it if you do), the only reason that I don’t necessarily recommend it is because I feel like this series features a family of sorts and it does the heart good to get to know them all. I can also only assume that Lani Lynn Vale wrote them the way she did for a specific reason and her expectation was that the readers were going to enjoy them in the proper order. But, to each his own and all that. This BXTCH is for sure not going to tell you how to live your life.

Kill Shot will be told through both Bennett’s and Lennox’s POV.

I usually start with the lady when I head into my reviews, but this time I’m gonna start with Bennett. Bennett is part of the Kilgore SWAT team and is the single father of an 8 year old daughter (Reagan). His daughter was conceived when he was just 17 years old and she was very much unwanted by her mother, Corrinne. In fact, if Corrinne had it her way, Reagan would’ve never even seen the light of day. Bennett however, was prepared to do whatever it took to make sure that his daughter was brought into this world and was surrounded with love. Unfortunately he had enlisted in the military prior to her birth, so he came to rely heavily on his family during his time away. So now, he is a member of the SWAT team, he has a very witty albeit somewhat of a she-devil (not my words) 8 year old, a wonderful family, so life is good.

Lennox is a physicians assistant and is doing well. Her two BFF’s are keeping her life full of laughter and her mom and dad are both surgeons and very well respected in the medical world. The only prickly think hindering her well-being is a pesky person from her past. In fact, she has had to move, change her phone number and upend her life whenever this person makes the decision to come lurking back around. The problems started in college when the two of them were roommates and Lennox tried to warn a guy away from her. Ever since then, the problems have just escalated. But other than that, Lennox doesn’t have too many complaints.

Bennett comes barreling into Lennox’s life via the hospital. After finding himself on the wrong end of a bitch attack, he finds himself on the receiving end of some sutures and one very feisty physician’s assistant. They don’t immediately hit it off and things get strained further after Lennox’s crotch was hit by a french fry covered in ketchup by Bennett’s daughter (see, she-devil). It settles down after Lennox invites Bennett to her house to have his sutures removed (after a second incident). After that encounter. . .all bets are off.

Like I said earlier in the post, we don’t get a lot of the previous KPD SWAT couples in Kill Shot, we get more from Michael than anyone, but most likely because his book is next. I did enjoy the supporting cast in Kill Shot though. Bennett has a wonderful family and a enviable relationship with his sister Peyton. His daughter Reagan isn’t a prime presence in the book, but she certainly plays a pivotal role and makes herself known. Lennox has a wonderful circle surrounding her as well. She has her two BFF’s, Paxton and Melissa. Her parents and the whole SWAT crew, which she does a really good job of inserting herself into. So all in all, a very rounded out cast.

Once again, Lani Lynn Vale has done a great job in creating a very explosive sexual relationship between two characters. The sexual chemistry between Bennett and Lennox is dynamic. They bring everything needed to stroke the flames. . .dirty talk, passion, love. . .it’s all there and it’s all fucking hot.

Kill Shot is going to throw a lot at you and it’s not going to take a lot to piece the puzzle together, but the journey to get there is a fun ride. This story has it all. . .drama and suspense and angst and humor and camaraderie and Lani Lynn Vale does a superb job in putting it all together, cover to cover, to keep you captivated until the very end.

I loved Bennett and Lennox, they aren’t my favorite couple of the series, but Kill Shot was my favorite story to date, though I do think Michael and Nikki are about to blow me away. This series keeps the creativity going and each story offers another glimpse inside a family that I for one am growing to love more and more.Bxtches Be Reading5 Star Read for Bxtches Be ReadingFavorite Quotes Tag

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: I’m sure you’re able to figure out that this book is certainly part of a series (Code 11-KPD SWAT) and as usual, I feel like I’m pretty straight forward when it comes to letting you know whether or not a book in a series can stand on its own OR if it needs to be read in the order in which it was written. When it comes to this fan-fucking-tastic book, I think you will enjoy it much better if you have at least read Execution Style. Charlie Foxtrot tells Foster’s story and Execution Style tells Miller’s (Foster’s brother). Things happen in Execution Style that kind of carry over to Charlie Foxtrot. So, I’m not necessarily saying that you MUST read Execution Style first, I just think you would enjoy this book much better if you do.

**This review will contain spoilers from Execution Style, if this is going to affect you in any way, you’ve been warned**

Like all other books in this series, Charlie Foxtrot will be told through both Blake’s and Foster’s POV.

We should probably back up a bit and re-visit Execution Style. Without going into too much detail, remember Mercy’s ex-boyfriends mother? You know, the one who had a few screws loose and well. . .was batshit cray? Start thinking, she hit Foster during her “I have to kill Mercy” rage and he wound up loosing his leg. Fast forward a bit and we find him in a diner getting the stink eye from a young lady who was pissed because Foster had written her grandfather a ticket. Well, that young lady is Blake Rhodes (you have to be loving these names that Lani Lynn Vale is coming up with) and she will have you won over by the time you have turned the first page.

Blake’s family is somewhat of a legacy in Kilgore. Her dad, Louis “Shank” Rhodes is a state trooper, with a stellar reputation that precedes him wherever he goes. Her grandfather was a cop for 50 years. And, if you are a fan of the series, her uncle is the Chief of Police, Chief Rhodes. Even her ex-husband is a cop. Her ex-husband, David, who cheated on her for 2 of the years of their short marriage. Her ex-husband who is a complete dickhead, not only because he cheated on her, but just because he is. Blake is ready to somewhat join the ranks of her family’s legacy, not by strapping a gun to her hip, her contribution is going to come by the way of the dispatch room.

The key ingredient is sildenafil citrate that is tadalafil without prescriptions recommended by doctors to treat both erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation if taken according to your doctor’s advice. These prescribed drugs are known to have a lot of men that have ended up using ED medicine usually do so as they tadalafil 20mg no prescription djpaulkom.tv are either older or completely out of the shape. But the main performance is declined sexual desire or even no sexual appetite ordering viagra online djpaulkom.tv at all. If this software manipulation doesn’t work out, you could “brick” your iPhone, leaving viagra shops in india view over here it entirely dysfunctional. In true badass form, Blake takes it upon herself to confront Foster about the ticket he wrote her grandfather the day before she starts her brand new job. In true Alpha form, Foster is turned the fuck on by the little spunky firecracker, of course it doesn’t help his loins when he’s lucky enough to hear her voice coming through on his radio. And if you’re a follower at all of this series, you should be able to figure out what comes next. And if you’re not a follower of this series then I will let you in on this little secret. . .when a member of the KPD SWAT team sets his mind on something, whether it’s re-qualifying for the team after losing a leg OR being so turned on by a feisty little blond that you know you have to have her in your bed. . .the word “no” is never an option.

It doesn’t take long for Foster and Blake to become a Foster + Blake. And the reality is, Blake is really good for Foster. Not that he lost confidence after losing his leg, he just lost something and Blake comes barreling in and really completes that part of him. Of course this love story isn’t going to come easy for either one of them. While I can’t give too much away (what’s the fun in the spoiler?), it does involve Blake’s previous marriage. No worries, as with every previous book in this series, Lani Lynn Vale does a really good job on intertwining the love story with the drama that hits hard in every book of the series. Oh, it’s gonna keep you enthralled.

I really can’t consider the KPD SWAT books a real ensemble series or at least my idea of one. I mean, previous (and what I assume will be future) characters certainly re-appear in each book, but in my opinion, each book is very busy focusing on that particular books couple and not really taking a lot of time playing the “where are they now” game, which is why some of these books can be read out of order (though, for the life of me I don’t know why you would want to do that). But, let’s talk about the supporting characters in Charlie Foxtrot. First up, Blake and her peeps. I am so glad that this book brought us more from Chief Rhodes. He’s been in every book up to this point, but in Charlie Foxtrot we get to know him more and I gotta say, I’m digging Uncle Darren. Blake’s parents play a pretty pivotal part in the story and even her spunky grandfather does his part in bringing the laughs. As far as the guys and their women, they make their appearances (especially Miller and especially during the drama), but this is really Blake and Foster’s story to tell.

You will not be complaining when the clothes start coming off. I say it with each book, so I’ll say it again, Lani Lynn Vale does not disappoint when it comes time to introduce cocks and pussies to one another. The sexual chemistry between all of her couples rings in at the top of the Scoville scale, but I don’t know what it was with Foster and Blake that had the sheets burning a bit more. Maybe it was because Foster hadn’t seen any bedroom action since before his accident and Blake just brought something out in him that was electric OR maybe it was because Blake had only had one previous lover (her ex-husband) prior to Foster and it was about time to let the inner slut come out and play. Well, whatever it was, it worked and I for one say. . .thank you.

Again, this series is really doing it for me. I FUCKING LOVE IT! And the funny thing is. . .I wasn’t too terribly thrilled with the first book in this series. It was good, sure, but as this series continues to move on, it continues to get better and better. I’m not sure how much better it can actually get, but I am certainly excited to see. Bxtches Be Reading5 Star Read for Bxtches Be ReadingFavorite Quotes TagCharlie Foxtrot (Code 11-KPD SWAT Series, Book #5) by Lani Lynn Vale | Review on www.bxtchesbeblogging.com

Stuck-Up Suit by Penelope Ward & Vi Keeland

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: This is not part of a series, it is a standalone novel, however, it does get a cameo from Chance, the leading man in Cocky Bastard (which I have purchased, just not read yet) and unfortunately it does give away that books ending. But, I didn’t really think it was that big of a deal, considering I expect most of the books that I read to have a HEA. So, that is the only warning that needs to be given. Enjoy.

Stuck-Up Suit will be told through the POV of Soraya and Graham.

Let’s start with Soraya. First, love the name. Soraya is a twenty something beauty living in Brooklyn. She is the assistant to an advice columnist and has had some pretty shitty luck lately with dates, one actually takes her to a funeral. Her best friends in the world are Delia and Tig (married to one another) who own a tattoo shop. When Soraya was just a young girl, her dad hooked up (while still married to her mom) to a woman who lived in the same neighborhood and who happened to have a daughter around Soraya’s age. Her dad eventually left her mom for the woman and took in the daughter as his own, leaving Soraya, her sister, and her mom behind, without ever really looking back. Soraya never really ever gave that life changing event any credit for fucking with her adult life, but she soon comes to realize that it is playing a bigger role in her life than she realized possible.

Graham is a very successful businessman (in the financial industry). But he is also a giant dick and not the good kind that brings you orgasm after orgasm. More like the kind shoved up your ass without any lube or preparation. I mean, Soraya and her friends even nicknamed him “Mr. Big Prick”. His mom passed away when he was just a teenager and the only person left in his family is his beloved Meme and his dog, Blackie. He was once engaged, but that ended horribly (you’ll need to make that discovery all by yourself) and like Soraya’s lack of a relationship with her dad is playing its part in her adult life, Graham’s failed engagement is playing a part in his.

Soraya happens to notice Graham one day while taking the train to work. While she certainly takes stock in the way he looks (mighty fine), his asshole demeanor is what she really notices. After he exits the train at his stop, she goes to exit at hers and notices that he left his phone behind, without it being password protected. . .what’s a girl to do? Well, she does attempt at doing the right thing by calling the first name in his contacts, but that person was nothing but a bitch and absolutely no help at all. She is able to track down Graham’s office and makes the effort to bring the phone to him. Graham is a big ole dick remember, so since he couldn’t be bothered, Soraya takes a couple of photos of herself and texts them to Graham, thus the beginning of a beautiful thing.

The pictures certainly get Graham’s attention and he and Soraya begin texting back and forth to one another, which eventually leads to meeting one another, which eventually leads to dating one another, which eventually leads to dropping to ones knees and burying ones face in nirvana, so life is good.

It kinda forces me to really just stick with the basics. Trust a BXTCH when she tells you that you definitely don’t want to know too much, the journey to the discovery to all that is great here, is too fun to ruin. So, having said that, let’s talk about my usual.

The supporting cast in Stuck-Up Suit is written well. This is not really an ensemble type of book. The ones that support Soraya and Graham are definitely important to the storyline, I just don’t think any of them are strong enough on their own to get their own story. What I’m trying to say (just not very well) is these characters do their job in lending the support to Soraya and Graham’s story, they just don’t really stand on their own (except one, but it’s about discovery people, discovery). But, it all works very good together and certainly makes Stuck-Up Suit all the better.

The sexual chemistry between Soraya and Graham was so thick, that it could’ve been a character all on its own. I have come to the realization that I will never be disappointed in these two authors and their ability to sex it up. Once the important parts of Soraya and Graham’s anatomy were finally introduced, it was pretty explosive between them. I love it when an author can realistically and successfully infiltrate a character to be a dirty talking dominant force in the bedroom, emphasis on the “dirty talk”. Now, Soraya certainly holds her own, but Graham knows what he wants and isn’t afraid to ask for it, regardless of the “where” they are at or the “who” that is around. As far as appearances and really personalities go, Soraya and Graham couldn’t be more opposite, but once they hit the bedroom and get to the business between the sheets, they quickly realize how much they were made for one another.

Ahhh. . . the things that I loved about this book. I loved how the advice column played such an important part in Soraya and Graham’s journey to one another. I loved the texting back and forth between them. I loved how Soraya dyed the tips of her hair to match whatever mood she was in. I loved how even though Graham was Mr. Big Prick, he went all in with Soraya and it really made him a much happier person. I loved how Soraya never really held back too much and gave Graham just as much “smartassyness” as he gave her “assholyness”. I loved the unexpected turn the book takes, even though I was waiting for something to happen, I just wasn’t sure what was coming and when it was going to hit. I really, really loved how they were truly each other’s missing puzzle piece (I know, sappy).

I just wish we could’ve met Soraya’s mom and sister. Especially with how impactful her childhood is on her adult life. But the lack of mom and sister is not enough for me to be like “damn, I was gonna give this book 5 hearts, but now I’m only giving it 3!”

Read this book, it is that good. This BXTCH would not steer you wrong, trust! Oh, I almost forgot. . .Stuck-Up Suit was read in less than a day, so either I have absolutely no life or it is a really, really good book and for the sake of my self-esteem, I’m going with the latter.Bxtches Be Reading5 Star Read for Bxtches Be ReadingFavorite Quotes TagStuck-Up Suit by Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland | Review on www.bxtchesbeblogging.com

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: Okay, there really isn’t a warning here “per say”, but can we take a moment real quick and really admire the fuck out of that cover? I’m not sure what this bundle of hotness is pondering over, but. . .can this BXTCH be the one to put him at ease? I mean, if I wasn’t married of course. Let’s carry on, shall we?

Whiskey Neat will be told through the POV’s of Lenore and Griffin. Which, I must say is my favorite way to tell most stories. I love being able to get inside the head (figuratively of course) of the male, especially this one.

The prologue is going to kick off six months prior, which is when we meet Griffin. Unfortunately we meet him right as he is about to bury his six year old son. Yeah, I know, sucks balls. His son, Tanner, was the victim of a drive-by shooting. One that took place in front of Tanner’s school. One that most likely was intentional, what I should say is, the intent was to kill Tanner. It would help you to know that Griffin’s ex-wife, Noreen was now married to a state Senator. I’m gonna leave that right there, we may come back to that later. If not, go ahead and draw some conclusions.

Lenore owns Uncertain Pleasures. The only sex toy shop in Uncertain, Texas. This is where she happens to be one night when Griffin shows up looking to buy some batteries. Unfortunately the only batteries the shop carries are packaged with the dildos, which leaves very little options for Griffin. Now, Griffin does leave the dildo on Lenore’s car with a note. Very taken by Griffin and his overwhelming hotness, Lenore uses that very same toy to bring her a bit of pleasure later that night.

Griffin is a Texas Ranger (not the bat swinging kind either), he is also a member of the Uncertain Saints MC. Now, this is a pretty small MC and was really formed by guys who were brought together by certain happenings in their lives. They’re not really the 1% kind. Now, that doesn’t mean that they’re not out to serve up their own brand of justice, in this case, trying to get the assholes who are responsible for Tanner’s death. They still represent brotherhood at all turns. MC books are one of this BXTCHES favs and while the focus of Whiskey Neat isn’t on the MC, it still plays an important role, one that I hope grows as this series grows.

Lenore is having her own issues. First, she is having some health problems and has a BFF that is married to her high school nemesis. I should probably clarify and say that her BFF is Remy who happens to be male and the bitch nemesis is female. I won’t go much further into that, it’s definitely worth the discovery. I really just wanted to give a little insight into Lenore, who you are going to absolutely adore. Adore Lenore, look at that, I didn’t even try to make that happen.

Lenore + Griffin evolves or I should say kicks off when he finds the dildo he discarded on her bed and knows immediately where it had been. What starts out as very hot sex, turns into much more.
So, men can generic cialis price overcome a lot of sexual complications by consuming this capsule. Diabetes can cause some considerable ramifications cheap viagra in usa including diabetic foot, sores and vascular diseases. As soon as he was given the proper support and appropriate work for his strengths, he grew less apathetic and at least gave a good day’s effort. cheapest cheap viagra The body is interconnected and often when a problem exists which prevents foods from getting into cheapest levitra generic the mood can be resolved in different ways, some of the recommendations that doctors give is to exercise regularly, set up a nice place for love making, avoid worrying, be confident with one’s body, and explore each other’s desires and fetishes.
When it comes to a supporting cast, Whiskey Neat is no different than any other Lani Lynn Vale book. She really does a great job of forcing you to invest in all of the characters in this book, hell all of her books for that matter. The story that’s presented in Whiskey Neat requires a range of characters and they are so well developed that I was able to really have the book almost play out in my imagination, which for me, is the best kind of storytelling. Lenore couldn’t have been better written. Everything about her screams fierce (she even has red hair for crying out loud). She is what I want in a heroine, she knew what she wanted and didn’t take no for an answer. When I expected her to hide certain aspects of her life from Griffin, she jumped right on the honesty train and took it for a ride. Adored, adored, adored Lenore (there I go again). With Griffin, he certainly fills the role of Alpha Male VERY WELL. While I didn’t really enjoy the fact that his son was murdered, I did love the vulnerability it brought out in him. All in all, Griffin could certainly make my “favorite Alphas” list.

The fucking in this book is AVN award worthy (that’s the Oscar equivalent for porn, just in case you were wondering). I’m not sure if the scenes in this book are getting pulled from real life (though I may have to try some in my real life) or if it’s the work of a fantastic imagination. Either way, applause to you, Lani Lynn Vale. Griffin is going to knock your socks off, melt your panties, have you looking for your dildo and making sure your man knows exactly what he is to do with it, just get ready to rip the clothes off and get to the business. Yes, it’s pretty scorching.

Now, this book has everything in it. It has the suspense of Tanner’s death and Griffin trying to find those responsible. It has the tragedy of a parent losing a child and the grief he must work through, which is really fucking sad. It has the drama of bitches causing problems and just being bitches. Reading Whiskey Neat is comparable to watching an entire season of your favorite show on Netflix, except all of the angst and sex and drama and LOL’ing and tragedy, is all rolled into one book. But like any good show, you still binge on it and are left with a bit of a hangover in the end.

When I “one-clicked” Whiskey Neat and saw that it was 400+ pages, I expected it would take several days to finish. So, imagine my surprise, when I started this book in the morning, while the kids were getting ready for school, and finished it by early evening. I was so shocked when I turned the last page, that I had to re-check on Amazon for the page count. I’m actually still a bit skeptical on that number. Either way, I finished this book in less than a day and my belief is this. . .if a book is so good that you can’t even put it down to “adult”, then you have no choice but to give it the 5 hearts it deserves. So, thank you Lani Lynn Vale for giving me the escape (even if it was for one day) and forcing my husband to play both roles, it was so worth it.
