Wrong Number, Right Guy (The Bourbon Street Boys Series, Book #1) by Elle Casey

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: Okay, BXTCHES, if you haven’t yet read Elle Casey and you are looking for an escape that will have you laughing out loud, she is your woman. Better yet, this book is available on Kindle Unlimited (well as of 11/29/15 anyhow), which means if you are a subscriber, IT’S TOTALLY FREE! So what better time to gobble it up, right?

Wrong Number, Right Guy will be told through the POV of May (our leading lady).

May is a photographer, doing wedding photos and family portraits, but even with those bookings, she is having a difficult time making ends meet. The book is going to kick off with May in a text conversation with her sister, Jen. Jen is a recently divorced mother of 3, who on good days seems to be at her wits end. To back track a bit, it’s really just May and Jen. There is mention of their parents, but it’s brief and you understand immediately that they no longer have a relationship with either of them. Also, pretty early on we learn that the only reason that May is living in New Orleans is so she can be close to her sister. So, if you haven’t yet caught on, May and Jen are super close. Okay, back to Wrong Number, Right Guy.

In the midst of May and Jen’s texting convo, Jen mentions needing a new phone. A little later, another text comes in from an unknown number. May thinking this is from Jen’s new phone responds as if it is Jen. Some texts later, May finds herself along with her dog, Felix, walking into Frankie’s bar. Now, May knows this is unusual, but she also realizes that maybe, just maybe, Jen has lost her mind, in which case, she needs to get in and get her sister and the kiddos out of the bar. Needless to say, the texts were not coming from her sister, but a wrong number, and May soon finds herself being shot at and then being rescued by a scary man with a horrendous beard.

After being rescued then totally ignoring the advise from the guy doing the rescuing, May finds herself in the middle of being chased by the gunman. Finally listening to her rescuer, which happens to be Ozzy, the bossman at Bourbon Street Boys Security, May finds herself right in the middle of their warehouse. After meeting the team that makes up BSB Security (Toni, Thibault, Dev, Lucky, and Sahara), she is quickly offered a job, BSB hoping her her photography skills will come in handy. She doesn’t really take the offer serious, it’s not until later when Ozzie shows up at her house and Thibault already going over the perks of working for BSB, that May caves and goes for it.

On day one, May feels that she is most certainly in over her head. She doesn’t want to give in so easily, but after a successful run with Toni, she’s feeling a bit more confident. It’s now her lustful attraction to Ozzie (who is now sans beard and super hot) she is struggling with.

At this point in Wrong Number, Right Guy, it’s just a hilarious unfolding of May trying to fit in at BSB and May establishing relationships or attempting to establish relationships with the BSB team. They have given her the name Bo Peep, which she doesn’t really take to too well. And she definitely holds her own during defensive training with Dev, surprisingly so.

I adored the supporting cast in this book. Everyone from her sister, Jen to even Toni, who was a bit of a bitch. The relationship that develops between May’s dog, Felix and Ozzie’s dog, Sahara is fantastically funny. Elle Casey did a really good job of almost forcing the reader to continue this series, because of how well she was able to develop the relationship between the BSB crew and the reader. This BXTCH cannot wait for this series to continue.

From almost the beginning, you know that the relationship in the book is going to be between Ozzie and May. It does take awhile however for that to come to fruition, which is a bit frustrating. My biggest issue with it, was not really knowing where Ozzie was at concerning May. This is where his POV would’ve helped out tremendously. Ozzie is a man of few words, which is a little like Rebel was in Rebel, but Rebel’s silence was more brooding and even with him being silent, you knew where he was at concerning Teagan.

Regardless of not really knowing where Ozzie is at concerning May, they do eventually come together. Having said that, the sex in Wrong Number, Right Guy was just okay. But, I don’t think this book is meant to set your sheets on fire, so don’t be disappointed when that doesn’t happen.

This is a very funny read. I absolutely adored May. She was feisty and even when she felt uncomfortable in a situation, she never really backs down, all around a really fantastic heroine. I’m a little torn where Ozzie is concerned. I didn’t not like him, he’s just not a favorite of mine. I’m hoping that as the series progresses, he wears me down a bit.

All in all, a really funny, fast read. I’m not sure who the focus of book #2 will be yet, I do however think we will see May’s sister, Jen, with her super computer skills, join the team at some point. Books #2 & #3 are expected to be out in 2016. I cannot wait.

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: First, this is my second read of Pucked. As usual, I procrastinated long enough in getting to the review, that my brain needed a refresher. Second, you may want to read this in a place where laughing out loud isn’t frowned upon, because if you have any sense of humor AT ALL, it will be hard to control your laughter while enjoying Violet and Alex. Also, it should be noted that you don’t need to have a love for hockey or even an understanding of the sport to really get into Pucked. This is book #1 in the Pucked series and it should go without saying, though I’ll say it anyway, this is the starting point. . .so if you’re wanting to get the best from this series, go in order.

Pucked will be told through the POV’s of Violet and Alex.

Let me first give you a bit of a rundown: Violet is a twenty-two year old accountant who is currently living in the pool house on her parents property. Well, it’s actually her mom and step-dad, but same thing. Buck is Violet’s step-brother, a hockey player, and has just been traded back home to the Chicago Blackhawks. Violet has recently sworn off all hockey players, declaring them whores, her step-brother being the biggest of them all, after a bad experience with one. After being persuaded by her mom to catch a flight to Atlanta to support Buck in one of his first games as a Hawk, Violet lays eyes on Alex Waters.

Alex and Violet meet at the after game party where what starts out as some great back and forth banter ends with lots of mouth fucking. Being intrigued by Violet, Alex heads up to her suite in an effort to get to know her a bit better. Not only is she sharing a suite with her parents, but she also locks herself out when she steps into the hallway with Alex, which then opens the door (literally) to his suite. While his intentions may have been gentlemanly, once Violet gets a small taste of Alex, she wants it all, especially his MC (monster cock).

Excess worrying: One of cheap viagra the prime symptoms of generalized anxiety disorder is excessive worrying for a relationship. Ireland generic viagra from usa has a talent pool with most of its players playing County Cricket and they have improved their skills consistently. Eggs: It is one of the best and most effective treatment for men who suffer cialis 20 mg from erectile dysfunction today. In cases of more serious vision problems when taking erectile dysfunction medication, it is important to discontinue usage and seek immediate medical why not try this out cialis levitra generico help. 3. After a night of scorching sex, Violet isn’t really expecting Alex to confess his love for her and become exclusive. There’s lots of rumors about Alex and all the things he does with his monster cock. In fact, if rumors are to be believed, Alex and Buck are running a pretty tight race in the man whore department. Once Alex begins to pursue Violet, by first asking her boobs out on a date, she is starting to become convinced that he may be the real deal.

Once things pick up, their relationship definitely starts to bloom and become exclusive. They of course run into several problems. #1: Buck having issues with a teammate hooking up with his sister. Buck doesn’t really know Alex all that well, so his only point of reference is the “Whore” stories that he as heard. #2: Alex’s agent. Alex is really working towards his life post hockey and that includes certain endorsement deals. His agent, aptly named Dick, thinks that him having a permanent woman at his side is going to screw those plans up. So, while Pucked may be a comedy first, that doesn’t mean there isn’t going to be any drama.

The supporting cast of characters in Pucked are fantastic. They are very well developed and add almost as much to the story as the main characters (calm down, I said almost). In some books, the secondary characters are almost an afterthought, but in Pucked, they are very integrated into the importance of the story of Alex and Violet.

The sex is as toe curling as the story is humorous, I don’t really know if that makes sense, so let me make it clearer, the bed is certainly on fire here. It makes me want to take hockey a bit more serious. I just wish I knew where it is that some of these authors get their inspiration, because there aren’t too many acrobatics here, it’s just straight fucking, but it’s thigh clenching to say the least. Helena Hunting’s website tagline is “Stories to get in bed with”, she is not wrong. Alex = YUM!

Pucked had me laughing out loud. Violet is so well written, you kind of want to be her BFF and I really fell for Alex, he falters a bit, but he is so adorably sexy, you can’t help but add him to the “Book Boyfriend List”. This is a series that I’m super excited about and even though the next in the series is Buck’s story, I hope that Alex and Violet are integrated into the story. Having said that, I do think that the second book will have me developing a soft spot for Buck.

November 9: A Novel by Colleen Hoover

November 9 by Colleen Hoover | Review on www.bxtchesbeblogging.com

November 9 by Colleen Hoover | Review on www.bxtchesbeblogging.comNovember 9 by Colleen Hoover | Review on www.bxtchesbeblogging.comSynopsis TagNovember 9 by Colleen Hoover | Review on www.bxtchesbeblogging.com
BXTCHES Gotta Warn: I have to admit several things here. #1: November 9 wasn’t originally on my TBR list. I know, “How could I?”. But here’s why. After I read the blurb, I thought it sounded interesting, I just didn’t know if it appealed to me the way I needed it to. Then, after reviews began to filter in, and with the way readers were describing the book, I thought it was going to be too emotional for me, the kind of emotion that I just knew was going to gut me. And, reading reviews is sometimes a double edge deal because they’re so vague you begin to assume you know what the reader is trying to say, which could be dangerous. #2: I actually LOVE Colleen Hoover (although, you wouldn’t know it by my lack of reviews for her books). I just haven’t gotten around to re-reading any of her stuff yet (on my to do list, I promise). I’m expressing my affection for this woman because I should’ve known better. I should never doubt greatness and realize that you can’t go wrong with a sure thing. #3: This isn’t going to be a detailed review (for me anyway), because this book is so fantastic the only justice I can give it, is by telling you to read it and only then will you understand why a lot of the reviews for November 9 are emotional but vague. Enough truth, let’s get started.

November 9 will be told through the POV’s of Fallon and Ben.

First let’s just start with the date or the things I can tell you regarding the date. The book starts on, you guessed it, November 9 and we originally meet Fallon and Ben when they are both 18 years old. Two years prior, when Fallon was just 16 years old, she was caught in a house fire that left her with burn scars all down the left side of her body. Besides the obvious physical changes she went through, she also lost her position as the lead actress on a popular T.V. show, which brought about the end of her career. Up until the fire, her father (an actor as well) was her biggest cheerleader when it came to her career. After the fire, their relationship is strained at best. It’s during a lunch date with her father that Fallon meets Ben.

Ben happens to be sitting in the booth behind Fallon and her father when he hears her father giving Fallon career advice. You see, Fallon has made the decision to move from L.A. to New York in order to pursue her dreams by trying her hand on Broadway. The problem is her dad is almost too honest by telling his daughter that since the fire, she really isn’t pretty enough to act anymore and she should probably have a back-up plan. Ben, no longer being able to stand hearing this, slides himself into the seat next to Fallon, pretending to be her boyfriend. She catches on and goes with it. They spend the one night she has left in L.A. together.

You need to understand that Ben is an aspiring writer and Fallon believes that one shouldn’t fall in love between the ages of 18-23. Her mother has drilled into her that those five years are pivotal in finding ones self and falling in love would hinder that. So, instead of exchanging phone numbers/emails/social media information, they decide that instead they would meet every year on November 9, that is, until they turn 23. And during those meetings it it agreed that Ben and Fallon would get to know one another and Ben would use that to write a book.

So, that’s it. November 9 only takes place on November 9. I know that sounds kinda crazy, but it works. It will span years of Ben and Fallon meeting up on that one day of the year and each year it gets harder and harder for them to play by the rules and for me, that is the beauty of this book. CoHo managed to merge beauty and pain so wonderfully together, that one page you find yourself with a goofy grin on your face just to turn the page and be on the verge of tears. Even around the “Fourth November”, I knew what was coming, I could just feel it and even though I knew it was coming, I still found myself with my eyes closed, head back and hand at my heart because that’s how much I felt it.

The supporting cast is existent and very well written, but it really isn’t about them. Their presence is certainly important. Fallon’s relationship with her father OR Ben’s relationship with his brothers, while they all add an important element and necessity to November 9, it’s not that story you will be craving.
Women, like men, buy cialis online have their own problems when it comes to matters of sexual arousal and interest. The cure for ED is tadalafil from india now available on just one simple click. The sexual response cycle has four phases, such as plateau, excitement, orgasm robertrobb.com generic levitra online and resolution. buy levitra from canada This helps to improve circulation and overall health.
Of course November 9 has sex. I cannot believe I’m about to declare this and it could be the first and only time I say this. CoHo could’ve left all of the sex out of this book and I would not have been the least bit disappointed. Now, I’m glad she didn’t. The scenes between the sheets with Fallon and Ben are certainly love making, not fucking, but that is how it needed to be. I don’t think I would’ve bought into it if she had Ben throwing Fallon up against the wall, ripping off panties and taking it to town. He worshipped her and that in itself was so beautiful.

It’s very few and far between that I will take to the keyboard right after finishing up a book. In fact, a lot of times I go back to re-read just because I procrastinated and waited too long to write about a book after finishing one up. I finished November 9 in one day, I didn’t do the laundry or wash the dishes, I read November 9 and I don’t regret one page of it. This is a story that will not only stick with you, but will have you telling anyone who will listen to you that they need to read this book. I’m not sure how someone does it, I can’t conjure up the idea of even having the imagination to write the way CoHo does. She has an ability to string together words and create a story that you are forced to become so engrossed in that nothing else at that time matters but getting to the next chapter and then the one after that until you realize there are no more pages to turn.

The love story that lies within the pages of November 9 is expected, it’s the spectrum of emotions and the way that the love unfolds that took me by surprise and even though I was anticipating an emotional read, this shouldn’t make any sense, right? Envy, that’s the one feeling I wasn’t expecting and it wasn’t envy in a sinful way, it was pure.

So, get ready to shush a lot of people during the falling of love with Fallon and Ben. I wish I had more clever ways to convince you to take on this read, but I don’t, so I will leave you with this. Read it, just do it, Amazon one click it, get to Barnes and Noble, whatever it takes to get this story into your hands. Trust.

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: Most of the time I try to suggest that a series be read in the order written. But, I feel it is my duty to let you know if books in a series can be read as stand-alones (in my opinion anyway). The first two books in this series (Center Mass and Double Tap) kind of go hand in hand because they sort of share the same storyline. But, Bang Switch can certainly be read as a stand alone. Now it will have the characters from the first two books, but not in a way where the reader will be confused. Having said that, let me say this. This is a wonderful series and if you are someone who enjoys immersing themselves in a good series, then you will enjoy it more by reading it in the order written.

Bang Switch will be told through the POV’s of Memphis and Downey.

Memphis Tennessee Conner. Love the name, love the woman. She is our female lead and she is fierce and she is independent. She’s twenty years old and is currently a college student. Bang Switch is going to kick off with the SWAT team being called out to a law firm where someone is being held at gunpoint. Memphis is a secretary at this law firm. When the gun is discharged, Memphis finds herself covered in a whole lot of Downey. She then finds herself without a job, which forces her finding a new place to live, and that happens to be next door to three very fine SWAT team members. Can you guess who one of those guys happens to be?

Due to some serious fucking (there really is no other way to say it) on the other side of her wall, Memphis is having a really tough time sleeping through the night and she’s about ready to bust some balls (literally). Of course, she believes that the fornication is a result of Downey, she finds out differently when Miller fucks his way right through her wall (again, literally). So, in essence the collapse of the wall gives us the beginnings of Memphis and Downey. That and the bonding over their dogs.

Downey is somewhat skeptical about taking on anything with Memphis because of their age difference. However, this skepticism doesn’t last long and well, I think we all know where this is going to lead. I will tell you that Memphis comes from Alphaness. Her father is not only a cop, but he is also part of the Dixie Wardens MC. In fact, the reason that Memphis even finds herself in Kilgore, is because of the over protectiveness of her dad. So, hooking up with a cop wasn’t really at the top of her to do list, of course that all changes the first time she rubs her lady business all up on his very large. . .very hard. . .business. The question isn’t about how great the sex is, because let’s face it, the sheets are going to be burning up. The question is, is it only going to be about the sex?

With every book in the KPD SWAT series, there is a secondary story that surrounds the lead characters and Bang Switch is no different. I’m not going to suck the fun out of the read by telling you what the story is, but I can tell you that is was certainly engaging and Lani Lynn Vale was brilliant by involving almost every character that she presented in Bang Switch.
You buy levitra can get rid of male disorder with food remedies. Various malignancy social orders and wellbeing bunches educate men to know with respect to testicular growth and see a specost of sildenafil t immediately in the event that they discover a new version of traditional ED medicine i.e. kamagra oral jelly. It is not difficult to solve this error, but the causes could discount levitra rx be different for different computers and USB devices. This problem is very much common these days canada viagra cialis and it is steadily growing in reputation.
I so love the supporting cast in this series. First, they’re just very well written and the chemistry between the guys of the SWAT team highlights this. Second, each book seems to start the beginning of the next book, so as the reader, you feel like you already have somewhat of a relationship with the character(s) that will be the feature in the next book. The previous books aren’t left out either. They may not be prominent, but they are there. Kudos to Ms. Vale for writing supporting characters that contribute almost as much to the story as the leads do.

I’m not one that believes sex should be prominent in every book or that a book is just not great unless it’s filled with romp after romp. However, I do think that if an author is going to make sex a pretty important focus in a book, then it should be done right, because if that aspect of the book is poorly written, I do think that it can ruin a book. No worries, the sex in Bang Switch is drunk with lust, passion, and just good ole’ fuck me already, know what I mean? Downey is a man who knows exactly what he wants and that something is between the legs of Memphis. Toes will curl, panties will dampen, sheets will be set ablaze. You may even find yourself hoping for a Downey of your very own.

Right now, today, October 19, 2015, Bang Switch is my favorite of the series, so far (and I have already read book #4). It’s funny, it’s intense, it’s sexy, it’s page turning and even though it’s 300+ pages, it’s a quick read. But my favorite could change, because this series seems to get better and better. I can’t wait to dive into the story of these terrifically written characters and I can’t wait to read the quipiness that she offers prior to every chapter. After reading the first book, I decided I would read the entire series, but really more for closure than anything else. Lani Lynn Vale has made me eat my words. I anticipate the next book, can’t wait to get to the next story. Well done.

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: Here’s another book that I’m pretty sure I came across while scrolling Facebook. Truthfully, Wrong didn’t sound all that appealing to me, but I went ahead and downloaded the sample and without anything to read (yeah, right) I decided to give it a go. Holy shit, I was floored over how great this book is. While this may be Jana Aston’s first novel, she hit it right out of the ball park with this one.

Wrong will be told through the POV of our leading lady, Sophie.

Sophie is a senior in college, working her way through classes, while working in a local coffee shop. It is here that she first lays her eyes on Luke. Luke comes into Grind Me like clockwork, every week and every week Sophie imagines what it would be like to be pressed up against him. Sophie’s luck with men is less than extraordinary. She was in a two year relationship with someone who happened to be gay. Though it is through that relationship that she perfected her blowjob skills. I should probably mention that Sophie is as pure as the fallen snow (maybe not that pure, but she is still hanging on to that hymen) and is preparing to give it up for the first time to her boyfriend, Mike. In order for that to happen, she needs to get herself on the pill, safety first and all that jazz. So, she shows up at the student clinic for her very first pap smear (eek!) and to get the ball rolling for her special night. While sitting on the exam table, in her paper gown, pondering over whether or not she is supposed to remove her socks, in walks the man who has been the one constant in her spank bank. Yes, it is Luke who happens to be the doctor about to perform Sophie’s very first pap smear. And let me just say, the whole scene was comedic gold and super realistic, maybe not the part where she has herself a mini orgasm while on the exam table, can’t say that I have ever experienced that, but c’mon, we all know that the paper has stuck to our asses as we have gotten up to get dressed, while we stand there wondering if it’ll be just easier for us to get the table ready for the next patient.

To say that Sophie is humiliated is an understatement, but she isn’t going to let it deter her from her plans. I’m not gonna to go into detail, but it’s not going to take a brain surgeon or a gynecologist to realize that Mike isn’t going to be the one to de-virginize Sophie and I shouldn’t have to tell you who that honor is going to fall upon. So, Wrong really becomes a story of an older, albeit super hot, rich doctor and a 21 year old college student finding a very intense sexual connection and seeing where that leads and all of the angst that comes with it. But let’s get to the good stuff.

First, let’s talk Sophie. She is the kind of female lead that I love. A lot of times, when an author presents a leading character in their 20’s that still happens to be a virgin, it’s not always believable. But here, knowing Sophie’s backstory, you will get it and she wears that “V-Card” very well. Everything about Sophie was lovable, even when she’s being insecure about her relationship with Luke, it was sometimes frustrating, but it was very endearing. She is super funny and is very well versed in putting her foot right into her mouth, but she carries that personality trait well and with pride. There isn’t a huge cast of support in Wrong, but what is there, is brilliant. Sophie’s BFF Everly is one of the best sidekick characters I have read in a really long time and she is the focus in book #2, so we are in for a real treat with her. There is not a dull moment when she is in a scene. Sophie’s grandparents, while only make a brief appearance, carry their own and you can certainly see where Sophie gets her spunk from (they did raise her). The ones you are supposed to love you love and the ones you’re are supposed to hate, you will hate. Overall, the whole entirety of the cast plays well together and will leave you wanting more.
Food: Foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids, zinc, and vitamins C and E help to improve age related vision problems such as cataracts, far or near generic levitra sale sightedness. There are just so many freaking purchasing cialis online see over here now options. So, online pharmacies are supplying the medicine in viagra ordination cheap rate. These medicines will promote blood flow to the genitals and help one cialis tadalafil canada attain an erection within 20 minutes.
It’s time to hop between the sheets. First, I need to say this. I read a lot and I read a lot of sexual driven books. Some are good, some not so much. Wrong was FAN-FUCKING-TASTIC! I don’t know if Jana Aston researched by watching some good porn (if so, I need her resources) or if she just lets her inner Jenna Jamison out to play. Either way, it works and it works very well. Luke, Luke, and Luke. He is what you should want the one thrusting into you to be modeled after. The dirty talk alone is enough to curl the pedicure. I am a fan of dirty talk, in the fantasy of the book or in real life, the dirtier the better and she nails it (no pun intended). If you need your man to get a little dirtier with the dialogue while getting ready to feel you up, have him read a couple scenes from Wrong. From the oral, to the foreplay, to the actual fucking, it will have you ready to strip down yourself, so get your partner ready. Oh, and Luke is a tad bit bossy in the bedroom-perfection.

While Wrong is filled with a lot of sexual action and even though Luke and Sophia’s relationship begins with them getting down to some serious scorch hot business, the storyline isn’t all about just that. It has enough drama and comedy and angst and of course sex to keep the pages turning and give you a little bit of a departure-if only for a couple of hours.

I look forward to whatever it is that Ms. Aston is going to dazzle us with next, because a talent such as this needs to be out there for our enjoyment. What can I say, this BXTCH is a bit selfish. You cannot go Wrong with this one. Give me a break, I’ve been waiting this whole review to say that and I had a list, but went with the easy one.

Trust In Advertising by Victoria Michaels

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: This is another re-read for me. I originally read this book way back when, so far back that it is on my iBooks, back before I knew the greatness that was Kindle and Amazon. I forgot how wonderful this book was. I loved the first time I read and fell in love all over again re-reading it. I actually do not need to issue any sort of warning because this is a stand alone novel, so no need to stress over a cliffhanger, all the questions will be answered before you reach the last page.

This book will feature Vincent Drake and Lexi White and will actually be told through 3rd person narrative, which is not my favorite way to tell a story, but it certainly works with Trust In Advertising.

Lexi White lost her mother when she was young, so growing up it was just her and her dad, Harry. Her goal in high school was to become and remain invisible, which she was pretty successful at. Her one weak spot. . .Vincent Drake. Vincent was everything the “it” boy was in high school. Super popular, super rich, a fantastic athlete. The one the boys wanted to be and the girls just plain wanted. The only time he maybe noticed Lexi was when he cheated on her in one of their shared classes. Other than that, Lexi’s wish of going unnoticed, was accomplished. Her next dream is to get out of her small California town and get to NYU and never really look back.

Fast forward some years and Lexi finds herself in San Francisco. Having dropped out of college to move back to Cali to take care of her ailing father and having recently just buried her dad, it’s time for her to finally chase her dreams. Several job interviews later, she finds herself the newest employee of Hunter Advertising. It doesn’t take long (like not long at all) for her to be promoted to be the assistant to the one and only. . .Vincent Drake.

For the years since high school, the world has been somewhat cruel to Vincent. Because of what the world has thrown at him, he is someone who doesn’t trust easily, which has also turned him into a bit of an ass. Which has also caused him to go through assistants like one goes through socks. So, enter Lexi. She has now been promoted to be the assistant to Vincent and is kind of freaking out, seeing as he was the one she wanted in high school and also considering he is someone she has thought about A LOT since high school. The unfortunate part is Vincent doesn’t even know who Lexi is when he meets her. Talk about a stab to the gut.

While Vincent may be a dick (not the good kind), Lexi holds her own when it comes to him. She gives as good as she gets. Vincent does have himself a girlfriend, Jade, who even calling her a bitch is being too kind. She can’t stand Lexi and the feeling is certainly mutual where Lexi is concerned. As a reader, the Lexi/Vincent/Jade storyline was everything I could’ve hoped for. It was infuriating, it was captivating, it was just fantastic. Victoria Michaels did a wonderful job writing the villain role with Jade and I loved how she didn’t make Vincent the innocent or the one you feel for in the whole debacle.
Many people cheap viagra appalachianmagazine.com are afraid to employ these pills as they think that this issue might make them shameful in front of the people. Its production in body depends on the amino acid, L-arginine. india generic cialis The second node is located near the convergence of the four view content now cheap viagra types and it’s potentially life-threatening. Common ingredients in these medications tadalafil cheapest price include microcrystalline cellulose, calcium hydrogen phosphate (anhydrous), croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E171), lactose, triacetin, indigo carmine aluminium lake (E132).
For me, Trust In Advertising is more like a movie when you read it. It just plays out so well. The is a great example of how a supporting cast of characters are as imperative to the storyline as the main two. They add a phenomenal layer to a very thorough and well told story. While I believe you will fall hard for Vincent, even in his most frustrating moments, I also believe you will fall equally hard for Sean, Vincent’s best friend. Hope, who is Lexi’s BFF, is actually one of the best supporting characters that I’ve read (and I’ve read a lot). Even Jade adds the necessary evil that a book requires. Trust In Advertising will fully engage you in every aspect that the book offers.

Jaw dropping time, there isn’t really any sexual fun in this book. And as shocking as that may be, I’m about to shock you even further when I say that Trust In Advertising doesn’t need it. I know, crazy coming from me, I’m all about the cock, but with just a few make-out moments, the reader will not get to witness any between the sheets action from Vincent and Lexi. Don’t be sad, just put your imagination to work.

This book is pretty old, so you may have already enjoyed. To that, I say, enjoy again. If you have yet to be dazzled by the words of Victoria Michaels, then I will say, it’s time to jump on board and Trust In Advertising is a great place to start. Fantastic read, fantastic characters, fantastic storyline, overall. . .just fantastic!

Confessions of a Queen B (The Queen B* Series, Book #1) by Crista McHugh

Confessions of a Queen B* (The Queen B* Series, Book #1) by Crista McHugh

Every now and then I’ll come across a book just by chance and since it sounds promising enough, I’ll download a sample and low and behold, it turns out to be a really good read. Well BXTCHES, this is one of those books. It is a YA book, so if that’s not really your speed, then you should pass.

This book will tell the story of Queen B, Alexis Wyndham and will be told through her POV.

Alexis Wyndham is a senior at Eastline High School and she takes her role as the Queen B pretty serious. Alexis recognizes that there are two types of Queen B’s in high school and she is most certainly the second type, the Queen Bitch. She runs a blog, The Eastline Spy, that exposes the wrong doings at her high school and takes great pride in what she has accomplished. But things begin to change when she is paired up with Brett Pederson for a class project.

Brett Pederson is the star quarterback at Eastline and what seems to be the love interest of the other Queen B, Summer. Well, she’s not only the other Queen B, but the one that Alexis despises the most. The thing is, they were BFF’s up until the 8th grade, when Summer stabbed Alexis in the back.  When partnering up in Health class for “the baby project”, Brett gets paired up with Alexis. Well, it’s more like Brett switches so he can be paired with Alexis. Problem is, Alexis can’t figure out why he would want to be paired with her.

Interestingly enough, Alexis’ sister Taylor is pretty good friends with Summer and her latest crisis is going to require her to get Alexis involved. It seems that someone has strategically placed cameras in the girls’ locker room and is posting videos on the girls changing. How does this involve Taylor you ask? Well, with the videos, everyone will see that she uses enhancers to make her girls appear bigger than God intended. Enter, the Queen B. Cameras get found, videos get removed, all is well again in the life of the Eastline cheerleaders. That is until the peeping Tom goes at it again.

While Alexis likes to pretend that it is impossible to break through her façade, she’s beginning to think that Brett may be able to do so. She finds that she is affected by him more than she would like and funny how things go, you know that Brett is really interested in Alexis, evidenced by a hot and heavy make-out session.

When discussing cialis properien , you could mention its good effect on them. As mentioned earlier than lifestyle alteration may be needed, it is also important to address the psychogenic components that tadalafil 20mg http://appalachianmagazine.com/category/travel-appalachia/?filter_by=random_posts assist in the functioning of the brain. Potency Most often than not, the brand name version and online prescription viagra have the equivalent rate of potency, with difference only in the area of the auditory nerve. It works quickly in just 15 minutes to give you some other information regarding BVI appalachianmagazine.com viagra on line spa and massage. Take the stress of her feelings toward Brett, her issues with Summer, two BFF’s who think they know exactly what it is she should do where Brett is concerned and a mom who is very seldom around and a dad who thinks the answer to her Brett problems may be sexual and you’ve got yourself a pretty good , witty read.

As with any good YA book, the cast of support must be a really well written one to really add the necessary layers that the story requires. Confession of a Queen B does a good job with that. There is of course the token “anti” to the lead in Summer. The typical ditz with Taylor and the angsty best friends. Throw in some asshole jock and the pages will keep on turning.

While there is sexual conversation along with some tension in Confessions of a Queen B, there isn’t any between the sheets action. Alexis wears her V card proudly, however, my gut tells me that that status may be changing in the next book.

I thought that the chemistry between Alexis and Brett was great. My issues with Confessions of a Queen B are more with Alexis. The only traumatic incident that seems to have happened to her is the back stabbing doled out by Summer in the 8th grade. She doesn’t even seem to have any hangups with the divorce of her parents, she actually recognizes that they are better apart than together and while her dad may not live close, she engages often in conversations with him and seems to be closer to him than her mother. She is very witty and has some really clever “back atchas”, it’s just hard to understand where her angst comes from and why. Brett is pretty obvious (even before admission) about his feelings and appears to be very genuine, so her attitude towards him is a little off putting.

Confessions of a Queen B will leave you on a semi cliffhanger, not enough of one to make you want to cuss someone out. Some loose ends will be tied up, but some will be almost deliberately untied.
