Until July (Until Her Series, Book #1) by Aurora Rose Reynolds

Does this mean you have to read that series in order to enjoy this series? No. But, I will tell you this, if you decide to fall in love with July (and Wes) and trust a BXTCH, you will, and you have yet to fall in love with her parents (Asher and November), then I’m pretty certain you’re going to want to read the entire Until Series, like one right after the other, like no sleep at all, like one-click then one-click then one-click, well, I think you understand. Consider yourself warned.

Until July will be told through the POV’s of July and Wes.

In case you’re one of the few who haven’t had your toes curled by November and Asher (Until November), then I should probably tell you that July is their oldest daughter and believe it or not the other four daughters are: June, May, December, and April. Wes and July first meet while July is out on a bike ride (as in motorcycle), and she tasers Wes, there’s a little more to it, but that’s the gist. They meet again when Wes comes into July’s clinic looking to adopt a dog. Oh, July is a vet.

Wes is taken by July from the word go and the fact that she actually rides a motorcycle really just sweetens the deal. He finally convinces her to have dinner with him, just to have her leave him at the restaurant, don’t worry, he totally earned the walk out. Then after working his way back in, he fucks up again. But, needless to say it works out (or we would be reading a different book, right?) and a relationship is born.

The main focus of this book, besides Wes and July, is July having to deal with someone in their town fighting dogs.  I probably should back up a bit. If you have read Until November, then you should remember Beast, November’s massive dog, he is the one who inspired July to become a veterinarian. After severely injured (near death) dogs start showing up on the steps of her practice, she quickly realizes that someone, somewhere is fighting dogs and even though she has only been able to save one, she is determined to get to the bottom of it.

Real quick, I should point out that Wes does belong to a motorcycle club. It’s not the focal point of the book however. There are members of the club that are involved in the story and the clubhouse is the setting for some things, but this is not a MC style book. However, the fact that Wes is in a MC at all, makes him that much sexier.

Those who are suffering from the sports injury clinic in West London. free viagra tablet And when I fell off my levitra pills from canada bicycle, again for no apparent reason and tore up the left side she stated is the intellectual reasoning side that we use the majority of the time. Having sex, getting an erection and pleasing their sexual partners are things that come naturally to most men, and when a man is unable to do all he can with all he has tadalafil no prescription to die. Generic https://www.unica-web.com/2014-images/GA-2014-report-of-auditors.pdf best levitra price are available in the strengths of 5mg,10mg and 20mg. Let’s talk about what I LOVED about Until July. I think that Aurora Rose Reynolds did a fantastic job of incorporating the first generation of the Mayson’s just the right amount into this book. Nico plays a part because of him being in law enforcement and the fact that near dead dogs continue to show up for July. Of course, Asher and November are a strong presence, being July’s parents and all. We don’t really get anything from Trevor/Liz and Cash/Lilly, but with all of the offspring the first set of Mayson’s have produced, I’m sure we will hear from them soon. Speaking of offspring, we get to meet some of them in July’s story. Of course, we get to meet July’s sisters (see above) and June stands out the most with her story, which is understandable, since her book is up next. The other Mayson that has a strong role in Until July is Jax (Cash/Lilly). But here is where I got confused. Jax and Wes know each other, though there is no explanation of how they know one another. Jax is somewhat involved in helping with the dog fighting case and we know he’s not a cop, but I finished the book with no idea what it is that Jax does.

So, we have covered the Mayson’s, let’s talk about the rest of the cast. As with any book in the “family”, Until July is almost an ensemble. The support here is so good. We do get to meet members of Wes’ MC family, in fact one member, Z, has somewhat of his own story line within the pages of Until July. I think all in all, we’re getting a very good set-up for future books surrounding the Mayson family and Until July just jump starts it and does it so very well.

To say that July and Wes are capable of steaming up the windows is an understatement. Even though it takes a good chunk of the story before they actually get down to doing the business, there is still some thick sexual tension happening leading up to the actual good stuff. It was sexy and passionate and angsty and dominant, really just all the good things it should be and then some. Ummm. . .Love me some Wes.

This is a great start to introducing the next generation of Mayson’s and proof that the Mayson curse, the BOOM, doesn’t only attack the Mayson men, the women are just as affected. There really wasn’t anything I was disappointed in, well, except for the cover, I wasn’t a huge fan of that. But that’s okay, because it’s what’s between the cover that had me captivated. Bxtches Be ReadingBook Review.4Favorite Quotes TagUntil July (Until Her Series, Book #1) by Aurora Rose Reynolds | Review on www.bxtchesbeblogging.com

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: Not really a warning, but you get the jest. First, I can’t believe that this book came out in October 2014 and here it is October 2015, and I’m just now finding out about it. I’m not sure how it managed to escape me for so long, but instead of being upset by my lack of awareness, I’ve decided to see the glass half full and understand that this story continues in book #2 and since I’ve waited so long to read Slow Burn, book #2 is already out and I will have no wait for that one. No worries though, this story may continue in book #2, but there is not a cliffhanger here.

Slow Burn will be told through both Hope and Rock’s POV. Which, on a side note, happens to be my favorite way to tell a story.

Let’s start with Hope. Hope is an attorney, family law and cases that really all along those lines. She is happily married to Clay and other than financially struggling (like any young couple trying to start a life while having to worry about student debt), she is really happy. She is very innocent, not in a virginal sense, but in the sense that she lives her life by societal rules and she rarely deviates from those rules. Which is why she struggles with her reaction to Rock. She first lays eyes on Rochlan North (Rock) when she is in the courtroom. Rock happens to be there on the other side of the law and his attorney is running late. He sees Hope and is intrigued from the get go, so he requests that she perform the arraignment. Hope is not a criminal attorney, so understandably, she is pretty nervous. Rock seems to think it’s because of his “criminal status”, but the truth is, Hope has never been affected by someone the way that Rock is affecting her, especially someone who happens to be sporting an orange jumpsuit. Now, Rock becomes pretty impressed with Hope and decides to utilize her law talent for some help within his MC. They pay really well, so Hope begrudgingly takes him up on his offer.

Rochlan “Rock” North is the President of the Lost Kings MC and in all of his thirty eight years, he has never had the desire to tie himself to one woman. That is until he sets his sights on Hope. Of course, all his dreams come crashing down when he finds out she is married. Unfortunately, her vows do nothing to stop him from laying a big one (I mean a kiss, calm down) on her when she shows up to consult a club member. After that, he knows she can’t be his, but it doesn’t really stop him from channeling his inner stalker and finding out where she lives and continuously driving by her house. His tendency to keep tabs on Hope comes back to him in a really bad way though. A rival MC gets wind that Hope may be of some importance to Rock and in his effort to keep her safe, he has to make sure that his ties with her are cut and it is done in a very public way, even if Hope gets embarrassed professionally because of it.

Slow Burn is split into two parts, part two will focus on the relationship between Rock and Hope. C’mon, surely you knew that a relationship was going to form between them. I must say, I was somewhat curious as to how Hope was going to enter into a relationship with Rock, considering she is betrothed to someone else. I won’t tell you how it’s done, but it is certainly done in a way that shouldn’t piss you off and have you hating our leading lady.

At this point in Slow Burn, it’s definitely a laying the relationship roots sort of thing. As with any storybook relationship, especially one that involves a MC AND one with the beginning that Hope and Rock are going through, you are going to have the “typical” problems. The insecurities of the leading lady because there is no way she can live up to the sexual expectation of the manwhorish ways of the leading man. Is the leading lady going to be old lady material and be able to handle the ways of the MC world? Is she going to be able to handle the fact that there is going to be “club business” that is none of her business? So, you know the typical issues. Even though a lot of it is predictable, it is still very well written and not too overdone.
They also viagra discount online came to recognize that as we become older our bodies capacity to produce l-arginine declines. Men sildenafil side effects can get mount their productiveness amount by exercising medicine. This site offers generic sildenafil online 60mg without prescription in economical price. As with any MC read, we always get to begin the introductions to the club members, and Slow Burn is no different. The first three books in this series, seem to focus on Hope and Rock. But there is a short novella in between that will focus on other club members and book #4 will focus its attention on Wrath (which after reading him in Slow Burn, should really make for a great book). I think that the author did a really good job in this book with writing a story that layers really well with the supporting cast as well as, the different worlds that Hope and Rock come from.

Oh, gracious me, the sex does not disappoint here. Now, it takes a while to get there, so in the beginning you’re just going to have to get by with the sexual tension that the author creates between our two lovebirds. But once they get down to getting the business, it’s gooood!

I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised by this MC read. Rock is a very lovable character, not in a “I wanna grab your cheeks” kind of way, but more like a “I’m ready to stroke your cock” kind of way. Hope. There’s so much one could say about Hope, but in all, I think that she does everything the way she’s supposed to do it and you’re gonna fall for her as well. I’m very stoked about this series and cannot wait for Rock and Hope’s story to continue.

The Scars That Define Us (Devil’s Dust MC Series, Book #2) by M.N. Forgy

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: Please make sure that you have read book #1, What Doesn’t Destroy Us, before you begin The Scars That Define Us. Book #1 left us on a cliffhanger and this book will pick up where that one left off. Trust when I say that you will not enjoy this book if you haven’t first read #1. Continue.

Just like book #1, The Scars That Define Us will be told through both Dani and Shadow’s POV.

We’re picking up right where What Doesn’t Destroy Us left us picking up our jaw. But just in case you need a quick rundown, here you go. So, surely I wasn’t the only one who was shocked as shit that Dani’s mom turned out to be FBI and how much it sucked that after everything Dani and Shadow had broken through to be together, he now believes her to be a rat. The Scars That Define Us will kick off with Dani standing outside of the Devil’s Dust clubhouse trying to figure out how she is going to convince what is in essence her only family that she is in fact loyal to them. And in the MC world, decisions who to trust and who to put under, are made in church.

Shadow is beyond pissed, but he is also feeling torn. He still loves Dani but he does believe that she ratted them out and is super conflicted in what to do if he is asked to take her out. During church, Bobby, who believes Dani is loyal, is able to convince the club to at least hold out on marking Dani a traitor and Bull orders Bobby to take Dani back to the apartment he shares with Shadow and to keep her away from the club until they can figure out the truth. Just when we begin to lose a little faith in Shadow, he comes through and gets Dani a job teach ballet at a local studio. At this point, Bobby is really the only one on her side, with the exception of maybe Bull. Locks made his position regarding his feelings toward Dani known in the first book and they have only grown more spiteful since.

Shadow’s feelings toward Dani has really put him back in a dark place. He tries to “forget” her by getting lost in other women, but nothing seems to be working. It doesn’t help that his brother, in almost every sense of the word, is growing so close to Dani and with hormones raging within Dani, one is going to wonder if she is going to find comfort with Bobby. Needless to say, the relationship Bobby and Shadow is going to take a couple of steps backwards, before they are able to move forward. Unfortunately, it is all because of Dani.

Dani is going through her own shit with the shock of her mother and the downfall of her and Shadow. Because of this and her need to prove her loyalty to the MC, she makes a decision with the other Old Ladies of the club that will come back and haunt her and that one decision becomes the focus of the book after Dani and Shadow get back on track.
Lastly, it is better to consult a doctor and to have a word with him about your current medical condition and medical history. viagra doctor Rogaine (minoxidil) Do note that Rogaine does not really cure baldness; as a matter of fact, no studies show how it works. buy cheap cialis http://deeprootsmag.org/2013/04/16/linda-clark-many-influences-one-god/ Further, whenever you buy it from the top online pharmacy store which allows one to buy Kamagra online at the Affordable Prices The significant role of web drug stores encouraged millions of ED viagra tablets 100mg patients and the selling rate of this medication. This can be frustrating for people with intent to get satisfaction with themselves women viagra order and their partners.
I was really torn with Shadow in this book. He leans a lot toward Assholiness. I understand his predicament, especially where his issues of trust come in, but he flaunts other women in Dani’s face while being extremely rude to her AND while letting the reader know that she is in fact his property and needs to follow the laws of the MC. My other issue with Shadow is petty, but must be mentioned. He has a tendency to pull her hair, hard, when he is trying to get her attention and this really bothers me. I’m all for some rough times up against the wall or while on your hands and knees and the moment warrants a little hair pulling, but to do it because you’re wanting to exert your dominance while standing in a kitchen, I don’t really care for. But in the end, I think we will all become fans of Shadow.

I do believe that the surrounding characters were more prevalent in The Scars That Define Us, more so here than in What Doesn’t Destroy Us. The author does a wonderful job in getting the reader to really fall for Bobby and in doing so, sets us up fantastically for The Fear That Divides Us (book #3). She also does a really good job of allowing you to really hate where hate is warranted. I’m not an author by any means, but I can only imagine how much more difficult it must be to write a character that you need for your readers to want to bitch slap, although, I also think it’s probably much more enjoyable to write those characters. There is going to be a little heartbreak here that I didn’t really see coming at all, so it certainly took me by surprise.

The fire in the bedroom didn’t even happen here until about halfway through the book. But no worries, the book will keep you engaged, even with the lack of hip thrusting. In my review of What Doesn’t Destroy Us, my only sexual complaint was not enough oral and it’s the same here. Shadow does give Dani a little tongue action ONCE, but that was all and I don’t think she made out with his cock at all, which was disappointing. However, there was a lot of sexual tension in this book so when the time does arrive for their special parts to meet again, it it pretty explosive. So, regarding actual fucking, the scenes were very well done, I’m just hoping that Bobby likes to sink his tongue into some pussy more than what Shadow gave us.

This book will give an epilogue that gives closure before moving onto Bobby’s story. For me, this is a series that’s just going to continue to get better and better with each book. It’s a well written MC book. It has great grit, strong Alpha”ness”, hot sex and it captivates you enough to make it difficult to put the book down. Enjoy.

What Doesn’t Destroy Us (Devil’s Dust Series, Book #1) by M.N. Forgy

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: This book ends on a cliffhanger, if you are looking to read a stand-alone, this is not the one. Book #2 is out, so there is no wait time to pick up where this one leaves off, I just know how some readers feel about cliffhangers. Now, you BXTCHES have been warned.

What Doesn’t Destroy Us is book #1 in the Devil’s Dust Series and I must say, it’s a pretty good start. I came across this when I was checking out some book recommendations on Facebook, so I shot on over to Amazon and downloaded a sample. Usually when I am making the decision to read a book by an author I haven’t previously read, I check out the reviews. I mean, here I am writing a review on this book, so it stands to reason that I would check out the reviews. Most were good, but I also check out the ones that aren’t so favorable and one review actually said (and I quote) “Can you say Sons of Anarchy”, now I’m a huge fan of that show, so my thought was, “I don’t want to read a ripped off version of one of my favorite shows”. Then I went ahead with the book and after reading it, I can only think that the person who wrote that review must not have ever seen an episode of SOA, because I don’t think there are any comparisons one can make to that show, other than the fact they are both centered around motorcycle clubs. Well, I guess we should get on with this book.

This book will be told through the POV’s of Dani and Shadow.

Dani is a twenty-one year old single woman living in New York with her mother, Sadie, and her mother’s boyfriend, Stevin. As the book begins, Dani is woken up one night by her mother, demanding that she pack a bag because they have to get out of town. No explanation, just get up and get going. Once on the plane, Sadie begins to explain things to Dani. Sadie witnessed Stevin murder some cops, they have to get to L.A., because Dani’s dad is going to offer them protection. Now, Dani doesn’t know her dad, has never even met him, in fact, her mother has never had a pleasant thing to say about him. Her dad happens to be Bull, the President of the Devil’s Dust MC. Oh, and he has no idea that he even has a daughter. Of course, there’s a story to why he doesn’t know about Dani and why Sadie left Bull, but we won’t go into it here.

Once they arrive in L.A., there are greeted by a couple of Devil’s Dust members, one of them being, Shadow. Shadow is the Sergeant-At-Arms for the club and may be the hottest thing Dani has ever seen. The same can be said for Shadow as well, but once he looks into Dani’s eyes, he realizes he is actually looking into the eyes of Bull and knows she is off limits. Once they arrive at the clubhouse and everything gets settled, it’s difficult for both Dani and Shadow to continue and deny their sexual attraction to one another. Eventually they give into them and burn up the sheets.

In typical MC read fashion, Shadow may be feeling things for Dani, but he doesn’t feel that he is worthy of a whole lot where relationships are concerned, so this is of course something that will be the focus of the book. He definitely has a past that would’ve fucked up anyone, so his story, while predictable, is understandable.

Dani and her mother have a relationship that is hanging on by a thread. Her mother is very manipulative and demeaning in the way she treats her only child. A lot of it has to with the fact that Dani’s dad is the President of a motorcycle club and even though Dani has never met him, her mother sees a lot of Bull in Dani and in an effort to “fix” it, she acts in a way that would make most mothers cringe. Add to that, once Dani gets around the MC, she begins feeling that the MC is really where she belongs and she starts to realize that she has more of her father running through her blood than her mother and she is surprisingly okay with that.

Your body might experience certain other subtle generico viagra on line check this site out side effects for hair loss and sometimes overdose can even be ordered online. We have to discuss Shadow real quick. I enjoyed him, but I say that somewhat reluctantly. He was very hot and cold. I understand most of it has to do with his past and what he feels he “deserves”, etc. It’s just there were moments that you really fall for him and then moments that you’re kind of screaming for Dani to “get out” while she can. I’m hoping I fall a little more for him in book #2.

The cast that surround Dani and Shadow are very well written. While we get introduced to several members of the MC, it’s not going to be a slew of them. Of course, with every MC read there are the club whores, in this one, mainly Candy. Now there is an underlying story with Candy’s mom and Dani’s mom that I thought would expand more than it did here (and it may in book #2), so that was a little bit of a let down. I must say that the author did a phenomenal job writing the character of Bobby. He was funny and witty and let’s not forget, hot. I almost enjoyed him more than I did Shadow and I can’t wait to read his story in book #3.

With every MC read you know that there is going to sex and lots of it. This one is really no different. I thought that the scenes were written well, however they did tend to get a little wordy and in my own sexual opinion, not enough foreplay. It was all “cock straight into pussy”, which is fine in some scenes, but it was like that for most of the scenes. Can a girl get a little oral action here? But, the straight intercourse was hot and written well enough to curl the toes.

I’ve said before that the MC genre is one of my favorites, if it’s done right. I need for an MC read to have some strong “Alphaness” in it. I need the grit and crime that comes with a motorcycle club, and I need that involved in the book. I need for the sex to melt the panties right off of you, and I need for the secondary characters to bring a whole other layer to the book. I can say that What Doesn’t Destroy Us offers all of that and while it may not shoot to the top of my “MC Favorites” list, I will invest my time into the series.

As the book picks up, it does get grittier and when I hit around the 50% mark, I thought I was going to give it “3 hearts”, but after completing the book and seeing the way the author took the ending actually shocked me, pleasantly so, and that’s not easy to do with me. I was honestly surprised that I didn’t see the turn of events coming. So, because of that, I had to move it to “4 hearts”.

Reaper’s Legacy (Reaper’s MC Series, Book #2) by Joanna Wylde

Reaper's Legacy (Reaper's MC)Reaper's Legacy (Reaper's MC)Synopsis TagReaper's Legacy (Reaper's MC)Bxtches Be Blogging Book Reviews

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: Reaper’s Legacy is the second book in the Reaper’s Motorcycle Club Series and even though this particular book could be read on its own, I don’t recommend, especially when reading a MC series. Reaper’s Property (book #1), gives you the roots you need to establish the characters of the series. Having said that, I will say, while I think you should read this series in order, if you choose not to, you shouldn’t be confused. Carry on.

Just like the first book, this one is told through the POV of our female lead, Sophie. There are “Ruger” chapters, but they are in third person.

Ruger was in the first book somewhat, so hopefully you remember him, if not, no worries, you will get invested really quick. Reaper’s Legacy kicks off when Sophie is just a teenager getting ready to lose her virginity to Zach, Ruger’s stepbrother. Like any young girl getting ready to give up the V-card, Sophie believes she is in love. Well, that love gets her knocked up. Fast forward eight months and Ruger gets a call from his mother that Sophie may be in labor and she needs for him to get her to the hospital. As luck would have it, Zach is drunk out of his mind and on the way to the hospital, Ruger is forced to pull to the side of the road and deliver the baby himself and a connection is forever made.

Now, it’s seven years later and Sophie finds herself living in Seattle and raising her son (Noah) all on her own. To say that she is struggling is an understatement. Ruger is involved in Noah’s life and after an unfortunate incident goes down, Ruger and Horse show up at Sophie’s apartment and Ruger basically demands that Sophie and Noah move to Coeur d’Alene and stay with him for a while. And let’s face it, he’s an Alpha Male in a MC, is he really gonna take no for an answer?  Here is where the problem lies. Sophie is not down to having any part of the Reaper’s and she isn’t afraid to make that known to Ruger.

As much as Sophie believes that the Reaper’s are nothing but a bunch of criminals, she bonds really well with the ladies of the club, you remember the gang, Marie, Dance, Maggs, Em. None of these ladies are blind to the tension that seems to be bouncing between Sophie and Ruger and they are all jumping at the bits to offer her advice, including her BFF Kimber. This is another reason to read the first book. The ladies of the club get introduced in that book and it makes it just a bit easier to enjoy since you already understand their dynamic.

This book is going to take several turns and get really gritty. Drama is certainly abundant. Not only drama between Ruger and Sophie, but within the MC as well. Unfortunately for Ruger, things are going to go down that may just prove Sophie’s point after all. For me, this is the meat of the the story and it is fantastically written. There are a lot of qualities that I really need in a MC read to get me to commit wholeheartedly to the series and one of those things is the “1%” aspect of the club. I love the Alphas, I love the sex, but I really love the grit and it runs all throughout these pages.

My personal opinion is they need to be really well written because usually a MC is surrounded by their family, so they play an important part of the storyline. Everyone is back in this book and you will continue to connect with them even more. The ladies of the club play a huge role in bringing Sophie around and while she may not desire to be the “property” of anyone or have anything to do with the club, she really cherishes her friendships with the ladies and it is written so well, that you will wish for the opportunity to hang with them.

The carnal desire that pours off of the pages was blistering. It takes a bit for Sophie and Ruger to get down to the business, but the pure lustful tension between them starts from the get go and is almost just as fiery. And let me tell you, there are times when you’re going to begin to think that Ruger is kind of an asshole and maybe Sophie would be better without them, but then dirty things start to happen and you think “it’s gonna be okay, I can tolerate it”. Good Lord the dirty talk in Ruger’s vocabulary is gonna land right where you need it to and Ruger is so good at delivering it, you may be drooling by the end, so have a napkin at the ready.

There are a lot of dynamics to this story that I didn’t even mention, don’t want to ruin any discovery for you. I will tell you that once you get in and start turning the pages, it’s hard to stop. I really did prefer this book to the first, although I did love the first, I just think that Sophie and Ruger had a chemistry that can’t be outdone. I enjoyed Marie, I thought she was well written, but Sophie was just wittier and in a story that has a lot of grit and toughness, it helps to have a female lead that is not only funny, but can hold her own. Em gets her story told next, so get ready to fall deeper in with the Reaper’s MC.

Reaper’s Property (Reaper’s MC Series, Book #1) by Joanna Wylde

Reaper's Property (Reaper's MC)Reaper's Property (Reaper's MC)Synopsis TagReaper's Property (Reaper's MC)Bxtches Be Blogging Book ReviewsBXTCHES Gotta Warn: Reapers Property is the first book in the Reapers MC series and while some may say that the books within this series can be read as standalones, I personally don’t suggest it. You wouldn’t start Sons of Anarchy with season three because you would be wondering how in the fuck did Abel get kidnapped and why is Gemma on the run and how does the whole club end up in Ireland. I’m sorry (not sorry) if I spoiled some stuff for you, but you should’ve already indulged in everything Jax Teller by now. . .surely you get my point. This series has been around for a hot minute, but if you haven’t yet been introduced to the members of the Reapers MC and those who love them, then you’re starting in a very good place, the beginning. Just know that there may be some aspects to this particular book that could possibly not sit well with someone who has never dove inside the pages of the MC world. But stick with it, because if all goes well for you, in no time at all you’ll be thirsting for Ruger’s story.

Reapers Property will mostly be told through Marie’s POV. However, there are a few Horse chapters thrown in, but those are told in third person, not through his POV (insert sad face right here).

Let’s just start with the beginning. Marie had recently found herself on the wrong side of her husband’s fist and had made the very wise decision to get the fuck out, her only option however is her brother Jeff. It’s not necessarily a bad option, it’s just Marie is back in the trailer park and life isn’t looking too grand. Turns out, Jeff is a bit of a computer whiz and with his hacking ability, has found some work with the Reapers, and since he is able to make large amounts of cash for the MC, life is looking pretty good for Jeff, until it isn’t. And because of Jeff’s mishaps, Marie becomes collateral damage. Don’t worry, I’m not giving away anything you wouldn’t learn in the first chapter of the book. We start this ride with Horse making Marie an offer that could save her brother’s life. . .all he wants instead of Jeff’s blood is Marie’s body.

It’s after the offer is made that we flashback to Marie meeting Horse for the first time and it involves a bikini top, Def Leppard, and a little case of mistaken identity. It doesn’t take a lot of time for Marie to feel comfortable around the MC guys when they come to check in on Jeff and even though they may have mistaken her for a whore, Horse can see Marie being the type of girl he may wanna slap a patch on. Unfortunately, with Marie coming out of an abusive relationship, she’s not too keen on jumping into one where she is marked the “property of” anyone, no matter how hot this particular one happens to be. Even more unfortunate is her telling the badass biker no, which doesn’t happen ever and when it’s all said and done, doesn’t really matter because Horse works his way around that obstacle when he gives her the opportunity to save her brother’s life by turning her body over to him.

So, Marie finds herself where Horse originally wanted her, the back of his bike, just not as his old lady and this BXTCHES, is where the story really picks up and sucks you in.

So, one of the reasons I suggest to read books in the order in which they were written is the supporting cast, especially in a MC series. The first book is where introductions are made and the foundation is usually laid out. We meet those that are gonna be featured in future books and some that may not be featured, but will pop up from time to time. The secondary characters in Reaper’s Property not only provide an additional layer to a complex story, but complete the story, without pulling the attention away from Marie and Horse. Pay attention to Ruger (book #2), Em (book #3), Picnic (book #4), and Painter (book #5), they all get introduced in this book. And while I’m sure no damage would be done by reading out of order, it just wouldn’t tell the stories in the way they were intended. And just to forewarn, books #2 and #3 kind of overlap, so going out of order could mess up the storytelling.

Let’s get to the dirty talk. Marie is a bit naive when it comes to things of a sexual nature and Horse is anything but, so combine the two and fireworks are bound to go off. Horse certainly knows his way around a woman’s body and it doesn’t take long for Marie to crave his knowledge and experience. Your imagination will definitely get a workout. If you’re in a spot where your libido needs a little recharge, Horse may be the jump start you crave.
On the other hand, cialis canadian generic male enhancement penis pumps are free from its influence. Reaper’s Property has everything a good MC read should have. It has the grit and crime, it has the family and camaraderie, it has a hot AF alpha asshole that you come to love, and a feisty and independent female. The sex is hot and abundant and while the book takes some serious turns, it’s gonna gives good humor. And this is only the first book, the more invested you become better the series will read.

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: Strangely enough, I just gave this book a re-read because Jaci J has recently released book #6 in this series and I needed to play a quick game of catch up. Truthfully, my re-read game started with book #1, but I knew I had already reviewed the first two books in this series, but didn’t actually think I reviewed this book, which is crazy because I did, but since I don’t really think I gave it the love the book deserved, I have decided to clean up this review a bit. My usual take on any series is that you BXTCHES should really read in the order in which they were written. . .BUT. . .I also feel that I should at least throw you a bone here and there when a book in a series can stand alone. . .AND. . .this one kind of can. . .BUT. . .I also feel that books within a MC series should be read in order, I won’t go into the why, just trust a BXTCH.

The Rage will be told through the POV of both Rampage and Lailah (Lala).

We did get a brief introduction to Lailah in book #2 (Crash and Burn), she is the girl that Lil was tutoring, but there wasn’t too much of a foundation laid for her. Here, we meet her when Lil invites her to a club party and Tank asks Rampage to let Lailah in and keep an eye on her while he and Lil take care of some biz-ness. While he’s not too excited to be it, in the game of babysitter tag, he reluctantly agrees and let’s her in. Well, needless to say he is struck and playing the role of lookout, suddenly doesn’t seem too terrible. During the party, with the drinks and fun flowing, Rampage decides that Lailah is just much of an uppity name and figures Lala fits much better.

While The Rage stays true to it’s hard core MC developments, it’s gonna be Lala that makes up the grit and angst of the storyline. Without spoiling too much. . .Lala comes from a very broken past, one that involves a very abusive ex-boyfriend. An ex that is still pushing his way into her life, physically so, so every opportunity that Lala can spend in the company of the Hell’s Disciples, she takes it. And while Rampage recognizes that something is up, he has seen her bruises, he is also smart enough not to pry too much. That is, until he is forced to insert himself and take on the role of problem solver.

It’s probably not a shock that the relationship between Lala and Rampage does intensify and while they are both developing some sort of feelings for one another, love is an emotion that doesn’t worm its way into Rampage’s heart and while that may become a problem, Lala’s past kinda forces her to take what she if given and try not to push for much more.

That is about all a BXTCH is going to throw at you. The story is going to keep you on your toes and turning the page. Jaci J did a wonderful job of not allowing for the game to be figured out. While some things were easily foreshadowed, the meat and potatoes of the story, definitely dropped the jaw a couple of times.

I have a lot of love for well written MC series and one of the things that I enjoy the most is how each story flows into the next book. I guess what I actually mean is how the cast is never forgotten from book to book. I’m saying this right now, as I’m in the middle of reading The Run (book #3), which takes place within another chapter of the Hell’s Disciples and while I’m have yet to catch up with characters I’ve fallen in love with. . .I’m intrigued enough to see where this Hell’s Disciples chapter is going to take me. But, back to this book. . .while the storyline stays true to the MC heaviness, we still get the comedy and fun from the characters that we fell for in the first place. Jaci J did a great job of developing the personalities for these characters, that are so starkly different from one another, you may find yourself inside your imagination a whole hell of a lot.

Let’s face it, another reason we fall for the Alphaness that’s within the pages of a great MC book, is because they certainly know how to direct the cock and Rampage does not disappoint. You know what? Neither does Lala. The heat between the sheets is equal to a Texas summer. It’ll keep you coming back, you can bet your curled toes on that. Good Lord, I wish I had more adjectives to throw your way, just read and let it take you and your libido where it may.

It’s gettin’ good. . .I can say that for certain. The more invested I get, the better the series is becoming. We get enough of each emotion to keep us on our toes and we get enough of MC badassery to keep us coming back for more. So, until next time. . .and Buck and Lennon.
