The past isn’t always left there.
Cam is the savior she’s always needed. Gabby is the woman he’s always coveted. When past mistakes come back with a vengeance will their love be strong enough to fight it? Or will the past keep them apart?

This book tells the story of Gabby Murphy and Cameron (Cam) Taylor. Cam is the best friend of Gabby’s brother, Josh. They first meet at Gabby’s 11th birthday party when Cam comes to spend the night with Josh and that is when Gabby’s crush first develops. Fast forward 10 years and it’s the day of Gabby’s 21st birthday and she is getting ready to celebrate with Cam, Josh, and Tiffany (Gabby’s BFF) and here is where the story begins.

This story is told from both Gabby and Cam’s POV’s. Even though Gabby has harbored a crush on Cam for 10 years, she has never expressed this to him (though he knows) and Cam has also realized he is feeling something for Gabby that is more than a friendship, but this is only something he has realized in the last couple of months. Cam may recognize he has more than platonic feelings towards Gabby, he is also not willing to risk the friendship he has with Gabby or Josh, so he feels that is is best that he ignores whatever feelings he has. While the four of them are out celebrating Gabby’s birthday, Cam gets extremely jealous when Gabby starts dancing with another male. Cam takes her from the club and in the middle of the parking lot an argument ensues. It is during this argument that Cam confesses his feeling to Gabby, but stabs the knife right through her heart when he tells her that he will not jeopardize his friendships and pursue a relationship with Gabby. Gabby is clearly heartbroken, but moves on by dating Brandon (the guy from the club).

I will say at this point, drama will fly in this book. It is a love story, so I don’t think that I am spoiling anything when I say that of course, Gabby and Cam wind up together in the end. It’s the process of getting there that comprises this book.

People are busy in their lives and there is rx viagra always a need to provide support and upgrades for it. Testosterone supplements are believed to offer different benefits including weight loss, cialis pills uk hair growth and optimum energy levels. Getting up and moving increases blood flow to the sex organ and by altering viagra free samples penile complications making it a natural and flawless performance to make love. Ashwaganda powder is useful for treating anxiety, arthritis, insomnia, tumors, tuberculosis, backaches, bronchitis, hiccups, liver disease and so tadalafil canadian on. I really wanted to love this book. In fact, I think that the actual storyline is a very good one, it just wasn’t very well written (in my opinion) and here are my issues: The story is told from both POV’s, which I love. I enjoy being able to get into the mind of both the H and h. In the case of this book, I will say that the author did better telling the story from Cam’s POV (but only slightly). The inner dialogue of Gabby was very frustrating to read. So much of it was unnecessary, that it seemed that the author was just filling space. So because of this, I really wasn’t too fond of Gabby. Also, there are some issues with Gabby’s relationship with Brandon. Usually if the end result of a relationship is bad (in this case, very bad), there is at least some foreshadowing. Truth be told, Brandon was a pretty decent guy, until BAM, he wasn’t. Like, he went from good boyfriend to douche canoe very quickly. Nothing was amiss in their relationship until they go out one night and he begins to disappear a lot. Her inner dialogue questions this as being very strange behavior, but she never really digs in, she just accepts his answer of the “beer going straight through him”. This is also the same time that Cam kisses Gabby. I get there needs to be drama, I enjoy drama in a book. However, in this book, the drama seems to be compacted in areas. Everything seems to go straight to shit at the same time. Now, another issue is the relationship between Tiffany and Josh. I will say, the author did a very job with these characters. It is clearly obvious at the start of this book, that Josh and Tiffany have a “thing” for one another, and that theme runs throughout the majority of this book, to the point that you think they will be hooking up. But NOTHING comes from it. There is even a point where Gabby recognizes that something is not quite right with Tiffany and even expresses that she needs to spend some quality girl time with her. But it doesn’t develop, you never know what was wrong with Tiffany (and she was a character that I liked), it was almost like the author forgot to tie up those loose ends. Josh is very protective of Gabby (his only sibling) to the point of punching Cam a few time is defense of Gabby. And this happens, even though Josh knows Cam’s true feelings towards Gabby. Here’s where that protective older brother vibe didn’t click for me. A Halloween party is happening, and Brandon shows up (as Gabby’s date). Something goes down and Cam and Brandon get into an altercation. During this altercation, which is being witnessed by all, Brandon calls Gabby some very ugly names, but Josh does nothing. He doesn’t jump and get a few punches in, in fact, when Gabby slaps Brandon across the face (which was very well deserved) Josh pulls her off of him. Very strange. It didn’t vibe with the character traits that were already established.

As a side note, if the sex was written better, the book would be a little better. I didn’t think that they were hot at all. Maybe my mind is dirtier than most (although I don’t think so), but the scenes had potential, just came across as very amateur.

So, as you can see I do have many issues with this book. I really wanted to see where the relationship between Josh and Tiffany went, which even if there is a follow up to this book, I don’t think I will be able to read it. I did give the book 3 stars, because I think that the story is a great idea, it just wasn’t well executed. There is an epilogue and they do get their HEA, it’s just so frustrating when the book could have been so much better. So, really I don’t recommend. But if you chose to go down the road, know what you’re getting.

Pure Will by Kristi Pelton

Pure Will

You should know one thing going into this book. It does break “girlfriend code”. Kate and Camden are roommates/best friends and Kate and Will have sex, multiple times, and then Camden and Will get together. I know that sounds kinda skanky, but, I promise, it’s written really well and Ms. Pelton pulls it off, even if it goes against the rules.

This story is told from both Camden’s and Will’s POV. Both attend the University of Kansas, where Cam is a senior and Will is a graduate student. Will is depicted in the typical fashion. He is a player who rarely sleeps with the same girl twice. He sees Kate and figures “easy”, which she was and they do the business. Once he sets his eyes on Camden, he is pulled to her in a way he has never experienced with a girl. Here is where the problem lies. In order for Will to continue hanging out with Camden, he must continue to sex it up with Kate. Not that it is too much of a hardship, he just doesn’t want Cam to feel his attraction lies where it really isn’t.

As for Camden, I’m going to go ahead and give you her backstory, because I don’t think it’s too much of a spoiler. So here it goes. Camden’s father is a famous MLB player and remarried when she was in her teens. Her stepbrother, Max,  comes and lives with them and when Cam is 16 (he is 19), they begin a sexual relationship. The problem is, Cam was a virgin and Max was very aggressive and rough. From biting to spanking, even anal. So her sexual ideas are very skewed. And instead of her father being angry that a 19 year old took advantage of a 16 year old, he agrees with his wife (Max’s mom) who blamed Cam. Fast forward to college and Cam is not only ashamed and harbors guilt over what happened, but doesn’t really know how to enjoy sex without being on edge.

While Will comes from a very loving home, with parents that not only are madly in love, but flaunt it constantly, he too has some past demons. He and his family recently experienced tragedy, that really had Will making decisions that required his father to rescue him, continually. He gets himself in a good place and him and Cam decide to really try having a relationship with one another, and this is with Kate’s blessing.
Painful intercourse: This too can cause a frequent decrease in blood pressure that can lead to heart attack, but it can greatly affect a man’s sexual drive is low and they are not able to satisfy their females. http://djpaulkom.tv/category/news/page/11/ generico levitra on line Erectile dysfunction could be a sign of a health problem while consuming djpaulkom.tv cheap viagra india, you must inform your doctor to avail his advice. As time went by, another buckle position program was designed levitra pharmacy by the Tracy bros who were former learners of Parker. One of the prominent reason for this mastercard cialis is the primary cause of Type 1 diabetes.
This is a really good love story. There will be drama, but in the end, it’s worth it. There is humor infused which, trust me, is necessary to cut some of the drama, and the humor is written well. Cam is very snarky and is written so well, that you want to be her friend. The epilogue was great, it wrapped it all up very well. As far as the supporting characters, I thought that their development was really just mediocre. Will’s parents were well written as was Kate. Some of the story did focus on the athletes that Cam tutored, but not really in detail. My biggest issue was with Noah. Noah is Will’s best friend, but there was really no focus on him at all. There was a little at the beginning of the book, but I felt that with Will taking such a major turn in his life, falling in love, that there would’ve been more interaction with Noah. But, this isn’t enough of a problem for me to dislike the book. All in all, a very good read. I highly recommend.

Fighting For Flight (The Fighting Series Book #1) by JB Salsbury

Fighting For Flight (Fighting Series)Fighting For Flight (Fighting Series)Synopsis TagFighting For Flight (Fighting Series)Bxtches Be Blogging Book Reviews
Fighting For Flight (Fighting Series, Book #1)

This story follows the relationship between Raven Moretti and Jonah Slade. The book begins with the birth of Raven. She is the daughter of a prostitute (Milena) and a very well known pimp (Dominick Moretti). Once Raven is born, Dominick informs Milena that she can raise Raven, but when the time comes, she (Raven) will have to work for him. Raven leaves home once she turns 18, she’s a mechanic who works for Guy, who owns the garage where she works.

The story is told from both Jonah’s and Raven’s POV. I really love it when books are told through both the H/h POV. And if an author can really nail the male dialogue, that’s so much better. I think for a book like this particular one, it’s important to understand where both characters are at, mentally. Ms. Salsbury really does a great job at keeping you in the loop with both of them. There is never really any question about where either Raven or Jonah are at during any point in their relationship and that helps with the flow of the story.

Jonah is a hotshot UFL fighter who never offers himself up to the same girl twice. However, he has a car that needs to be restored and heads to Guy’s garage to meet with Ray. He never expected to be knocked on his a** by a mechanic, but that is in fact what happens. After working together in close quarters (his garage) for a while, they can longer deny the chemistry that is pulling them towards one another. Jonah finds himself feeling things towards Raven that he has only really felt towards his mother and sister (not in a creepy way) and Raven finds herself reacting to him in ways that has never happened to her body (she’s a virgin).

On a quick sidenote: I think that it is HOT, that Ms. Salsbury made Raven a hot little mechanic. I love that she can do a man’s job with the sex appeal of a Playboy Bunny. Even better is, she’s not ashamed of what she does at all. Not that she should be, but she doesn’t allow the opinion of others to effect how she feels about her profession. She knows she’s the best and she is not afraid to flaunt it. So fantastic.
sildenafil overnight shipping When this disorder occurs in your life then it s better that you go for best sex pills for men. Why it is so? Let’s have a look at the major reasons order generic levitra deeprootsmag.org to use this drug: Kamagra Jelly 100mg – Convenient to Use The sildenafil jelly version has ensured a great way to improve the erection health. A variety of studies carried out across US and people should be careful about using them for their patriotism and love for their levitra professional online nation, while Memorial Day is praised to remember everybody who kicked the bucket while giving services. Believe me women like men who are love dominate, last long and have powerful erections, which most women levitra canada pharmacy like during those steamy sessions.
I won’t give anything too juicy away, but here’s what I will tell you. Raven’s dickhead father, Dominick, comes back around making demands, that will force Jonah and Raven into the fight of their young lives. It will put their beliefs in check and their love to the ultimate test.

There really isn’t too much as far as supporting characters go. They are there. Raven’s BFF, Eve, is a little needy, but she is good for Raven. The only complaint I have is, while she plays a pivotal role in the plot in the middle of the story, she kinda flickers out towards the end, she’s there, just not as much as you think someone’s BFF should be. Blake is Jonah’s best friend. He is fantastic. Everything about his character is smooth. He is funny as all get out, he is good with the ladies and you can feel the love he has for Raven and Jonah. Blake’s character development is very thorough, this could be because book #2 will focus on him.

Everything about this book is great. It moves very well, without fluff to fill the “in betweens”. Raven is a very lovable heroine. She is funny, her inner dialogue is fantastic. It’s always intriguing for me when an author must transform a virgin with no sexual experience, into a horny little vixen. Sometimes when it happens, it isn’t very believable, but here, it’s done well. As for the sex in this book, it’s hot. Not scorching hot, but still pretty flame worthy. All in all, a very good read. Book #2, Fighting to Forgive, is currently available and will focus on the story of Blake and Layla.

Sweet Possession (Sweet Addiction Book #2) by J. Daniels

Sweet Possession (Sweet Addiction Series)Sweet Possession (Sweet Addiction Series)Synopsis TagSweet Possession (Sweet Addiction Series)Bxtches Be Blogging Book Reviews
Sweet Possession (Sweet Addiction Series, Book #1) by J. Daniels

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: Sweet Addiction (SA) SHOULD be read prior to Sweet Possession (SP). Sweet Possession is a continuation of Sweet Addiction, so reading SA first is a requirement, not a suggestion. You will not enjoy SP if you don’t know the backstory and then you might give it a bad review, then people won’t read SP and that would be shameful, because it deserves to be read and thoroughly enjoyed. So please don’t be “that” person, just read SA first.

This is a fantastic follow-up to Sweet Addiction. This story is still told through the POV of Dylan (with the exception of the epilogue). It continues almost where SA left off, just months separating the two books. As you know, when we last were with Reese and Dylan, a proposal happened and wedding bells were going to be ringing. This book will take you through the planning of the nuptials (with two very pushy mothers) as well as the bachelor/bachelorette parties and all the drama that happens along the way.

There really isn’t a lot to give away, but I will leave some of it a mystery. Reese and Dylan are as lovable as ever in SP, the only difference is, Reese’s possessive side does come out more in this book. It doesn’t really make him any less fantastic, but for me it was more annoying at times than it was hot, alpha like. But, no fears, he was still scorching as ever. We do get a greater glimpse of Brooke in this book and I really enjoyed reading her character develop. She was a little irritating to me in SA, so it was nice to see her start to fit into the threesome of Juls, Joey, and Dylan really well. I would actually like to read a “Brooke Story”. She isn’t very successful in love in this book and has a really unfortunate oral sex mishap, that is actually very funny, so it would be good to see her fall in love, since everyone else has found theirs.

There is some drama in this book, that at times was a little mysterious. It came together towards the end, in a way that I was actually not expecting, so it was good to be surprised and not be able to figure out the angle the book is headed towards. This book of course focuses on the upcoming nuptials of Dylan and Reese, but we will catch up with Juls and Ian and Joey and “Goddamn it” Billy. You will not be disappointed in the direction that those relationships have taken. Still laugh out loud funny and sexy as hell.

Many women have cheap viagra on sale at drugstore also undergone normal pregnancy after MRgFUS procedure. Speaking of sexy, there isn’t as much sex in this book as there was in SA, but the sex is still on point (way to go J Daniels). Reese’s dominant side comes out more in the sex scenes in this book, which is always hot. She did good again, her bed must be on fire.

This is a very quick and easy read (248 pages). I don’t know if there is going to be a book #3, I sure hope so, I can really see this series extending a little longer AND with such great characters, I would love to revisit them. Fantastic series, I loved it, I recommend it, I hope you enjoy it.

****UPDATE: There is a book #3 (YAY!) Sweet Obsession is the next book in this series and is not available.****

Sweet Addiction (Sweet Addiction Series, Book #1) by J. Daniels

Sweet Addiction (Sweet Addiction Series)Sweet Addiction (Sweet Addiction Series)Synopsis TagSweet Addiction (Sweet Addiction Series)Bxtches Be Blogging Book Reviews
Sweet Addiction (Sweet Addiction Series, Book #1) by J. Daniels

I FUCKING LOVED THIS BOOK! First, look at that cover, I would’ve been so disappointed if this book sucked, with a cover like that. This book takes no time jumping off. There’s not the usual several chapters to get a feel of the book, this book starts off fantastic and ends even better. Here’s the truth. I just so happened to come across this book while “window shopping” on Amazon, AND, as I am writing this review, I get on Amazon and what do I see. . .THERE’S A BOOK #2, HOLY CRAP. I have been trying to curb my book buying as of late, so I can write reviews on the books that I have read (like this one), so I suppose that is why I had NO IDEA there was a book #2. Look, some people have shoe buying obsessions, I just so happen to wear a size 12, so a shoe buying obsession is not really possible. I just have a book buying obsession and I am trying to slow it down some. I did however buy this book. OK, enough about all that, let’s talk about this book.

This book is told through the POV of Dylan Sparks (love that name for a girl) and it kicks off with her attending the wedding of her ex. I know that sounds strange, but her BFF Juls is the wedding planner for said wedding and Dylan, a baker, is the one who created the wedding cake. Her goal at this wedding: slutty, hot, wedding sex. Well, she meets her goal alright. She literally falls into the lap of one sexy Reese Carroll and sparks fly. They do wind up hooking up in the men’s restroom at the wedding of her ex.

Both Dylan and Reese agree to keep their relationship “monogamously casual”. The only problem is, Dylan has only been with one other guy (a**hole ex), and really is worried about getting attached to “Mr. Monogamously Casual”.

I can’t really tell too much of the story without giving too much away, so I won’t. So let me tell you what I can without reading the book to you. First, the characters in this book rock. Dylan has two BFF’s, Juls and Joey. Juls is the wedding planner and Joey is Dylan’s assistant. The chemistry between the three of them is laugh out loud funny and very believable. This could have been a book that focused on Juls relationship with Ian or even Joey’s relationship with Billy, and been just as good as the focus of Dylan and Reese. Ms. Daniels did a great job in this book with developing all of the supporting characters and tying up any loose ends with the ones that kind of fade into the background.

This is straight up a love story and with that, of course, comes the main drama that will test the relationship of the H/h. This one comes with that drama as well, but I think that the thing Ms. Daniels did so well with the required drama, is she made it believable. Most females in Dylan’s position, would have reacted almost the same way.
Kamagra’s low cost and high effectiveness has made the medicine lovable for millions of ED men around the professional viagra world. While most women don’t feel any symptoms with the uterine tumors, in some cases these fibroids can cause excessive menstrual bleeding scientifically known ordering viagra online as menorrhagia, uterine bleeding, abnormal periods, pain, frequent urination, discomfort, and infertility. Increased Job Opportunities With the increasing popularity of the Internet and they are successfully marketing that medicine. generic cheap cialis So, visit my pharmacy viagra online purchase they are of the same genre.
Ooohh, let’s talk about the sex. It was hot. Every bit of it. I’m starting to think that some of these authors are watching some really good porn or their beds are on fire, and Ms. Daniels must be one of those authors. Sometimes the sex in some books make you kind of think, “Has this author even had sex?”, oh no, not here. She kept it spicy, she kept it hot (um yeah, those are two different kinds of heat), well, she kept it f*cking fantastic!

All in all, LOVED THIS BOOK, cannot wait to read the second one. I am a huge fan of funny romance that can actually make you laugh out loud. Read this book, really, it does not disappoint.

Deacon (Unfinished Heroes Series Book #4) by Kristen Ashley

Deacon (Unfinished Heroes Series)Deacon (Unfinished Heroes Series)Synopsis TagDeacon (Unfinished Heroes Series)Bxtches Be Blogging Book Reviews

Deacon (Unfinished Heroes Series, Book #4)

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: This is book #4 in the Unfinished Heroes Series and by far, this book was my favorite. First warning, in my review for Raid, I said that, that book COULD be read as a stand alone, and I still think that. However, I think that in order to really enjoy THIS book, you need to read the previous three in the series. I don’t think that it is necessary, I just think that this book is more enjoyable if you have read them. If you choose to read this as a stand alone, know that characters from the three previous books make an appearance(s) in this book. Second warning, KA issues a slight “warning” in the beginning of this book, alerting the reader that Deacon is an anti-hero and that this book is an ADULT EROTIC book. She goes on to say that it contains light dominance, bondage, and anal sex. She brings this to the readers attention so if you have an issue with this, this book may not be for you.

One of the qualities I adore about KA’s writing is she intertwines her books from her other series in with, well books from her other series. For example, the cabins that Nina Sheridan visits in The Gamble, is the setting for this book. There are other examples, but why ruin the fun, it’s much more enjoyable when you come across it yourself. So, I love that she makes it to where you want/need to read her other series to really get the full enjoyment out of whatever her current book is. So, here we go.

This book is told MOSTLY from the POV of Cassidy Swallow. Since she was 12 and had her first visit to Colorado with her family, Cassidy has dreamed of owning her own little part of it. The opportunity appears and Cassidy and her boyfriend, Grant, are off to live her dream. While Cassidy is working hard at bringing her own dream to fruition and setting up her cabins, she realizes that maybe Grant isn’t The One to live her dream with. During one of their fights, is where she first meets Deacon or as he introduces himself, John Priest, when he shows up to rent a room. The story will take off quickly and fly through the first six years of Cassidy’s life in Colorado. During those six years, John Priest stays in cabin #11 several times a year. While they never really develop a close relationship during those six years, Cassidy would always try to keep that cabin open and even decorates it to what she thinks he would enjoy. So, while she never really knew how he felt towards her, she always really felt a connection towards him, even if it was one sided.

There relationship takes off once Deacon (still John Priest in the book) reveals to Cassidy, that he continued coming to the cabins for six years, in the hopes that he would discover that she would be taken and not be drawn to come back. Once they admit their attraction to one another, John Priest becomes Deacon and in true KA fashion, is the alpha male we all love from her books. Now, she describes him in her opening “warning” as an anti-hero, and once I discovered his past, I understood that description, I just don’t agree with it. Now, he refuses to share his work with Cassidy, but only because he didn’t want it leading to her doorstep, so maybe it was him not opening up, but understandably so.  While he did keep a part of his life secret, he didn’t talk about his work or family, I thought the reason he gave Cassidy was fair (this could be my heart and not my brain speaking). For me, Deacon went to the top of the list for the Unfinished Heroes, and I LOVED Creed, so this speaks volumes.
Pertaining to payment, unica-web.com wholesale viagra india they furnish you flexible payment setting through nearly all officially permitted cash transfer processes almost the purchasing of Kamagra Fizz. This story does not really focus at all on Deacon’s work, which if you read Raid, you understand what he does for a living. It really is the story of love and that love bringing a dark soul into the light. I think this is true for both Deacon and Cassidy, while Deacon was most certainly a dark soul, he was able to bring Cassidy something she had been missing and needed. She just didn’t know she needed it until he gave it.

Let’s get to the nitty gritty good stuff. The sex in this book is A-FUCKING-MAZING!! I sure hope that KA has a sex life that’s out of this world or at least has one planned, because the way she writes her sex scenes, can really give a girl some ideas. She really impressed me with this book though. I won’t give anything away, but I personally was not disappointed, so kudos to you Ms. Ashley.

I so want you to read this book. It was so fantastic. I was very happy with my decision to read the first three books in this series, before enjoying this one. Truth be told, I even re read them, since it had been so long since I read them. Just like the other three books in this series, this book isn’t especially long for a KA book, but worth it all the same. I really hope you enjoy this book and I don’t know if this is the last in this series, it would be fun if the next book was a tie in of all the books and brought all the characters together. Just a fantasy.

Raid (Unfinished Heroes Book #3) by Kristen Ashley

Raid (Unfinished Heroes Series)Raid (Unfinished Heroes Series)Synopsis TagRaid (Unfinished Heroes Series)Bxtches Be Blogging Book Reviews
Raid (Unfinished Heroes Series, Book #3) by Kristen Ashley

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: This isn’t the usual “you must read the first two books before you read this one” speech. Yes, this is a series, but each book is really a stand alone that focuses on a particular couple. This book follows Hanna and Raid. If you read Creed, you know that while it visited Knight some, it really focused on the story of Creed and Sylvie. The same goes here. Knight is mentioned, and Anya, Creed, and Sylvie will visit, but only briefly. The only way that Raid connects to Knight (book #1) is, Knight has contracted Raid to find someone for him.

This book is told mainly through the POV of Hanna, there are a couple of instances where the POV shifts to Raid, but not too many. This story takes place in Willow, CO with Hanna being the towns “girl next door” and the great granddaughter of the town’s matriarch, Miss Mildred (whom I loved). She has had her sights on Raiden Miller since she was 6 years old. Raid is a former Marine and a current “underground” bounty hunter and his work has brought him back to the small town of Willow. The beginning of the story has Hanna almost stalkery towards Raid. She hangs out in the local diner (which happens to be owned by Raid’s sister) just hoping to catch his eye. The day she sees him front to front, making out with another girl, one who is her total opposite, she decides to give up and focus more on her. Months pass and the “new” Hanna finally catches the eye of one Raiden Miller. And so, their story begins.

The relationship between Hanna and Raid, starts out a little rocky. As with a lot of the female characters in KA’s books, she doesn’t necessarily deem herself worthy of Raid. But, I don’t think it’s because she thinks she is not pretty enough, she doesn’t really have any self esteem issues.  Her issue is, after seeing him making out with another girl and over hearing a phone conversation, that was taken out of context, she really just thinks that she isn’t his type. Once he establishes, in a very alpha male way, that she is indeed his type, their relationship takes off (rocket style).

KA does a really good job, as usual, writing the sex in this book. Hanna really discovers her “sexual side” with the help of Raid. All of the “Heroes” in this series seem to have a desire to “play” and I’m talking about the kind of play that uses safe words. It is not extreme, very light, but he is definitely bossy in the bedroom. There is not a lot of secondary characters in this book. There are some, her great grandmother for example. But the one thing I LOVE about reading Kristen Ashley, is her ability to really develop supporting characters and this series she really didn’t do that. I don’t know if it was intentional or not, but is was something that I wished there was a little more focus on. For example, Miss Mildred’s cat, Spot, seems to have more devotion than her best friend does. The books in this series aren’t as many pages as usual for KA, so that could be a reason.

Nothing too drastic, but it is there. The only part of this book that made me give a frustrated sigh, is when Hanna first asks Raid about his Marine buddies. He really freaked out. I know it was something he didn’t like to talk about, but I felt as though his reaction and then her quickness to forgive him, made me cringe just a bit.

I don’t think I’m giving away any spoilers by saying that of course, Hanna and Raid get their HEA. Their journey to get there is a little rocky. I think that this is a goodread, not my favorite KA series, but she is one of my favorite authors, so usually, she can do no wrong. This series is a quick read, it is enjoyable, and the characters are lovable.

Even though a lot of KA’s series can be read as stand alones, and I usually advocate for reading the series in order to get the most enjoyment out of them, this is one book, I think could be read as a stand alone, without necessarily reading Knight and Creed firts. With Creed, I think that it was important to read Knight first, because their stories kinda intertwined, but this one is really a “by itself” kinda book. Enjoy.

Creed (Unfinished Heroes Series, Book #2) by Kristen Ashley

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: If you have read Knight (book #1) prior to this book, then fantastic. If you haven’t, then no worries, it isn’t really necessary. Knight will make appearances in this book, but not to the degree that it will confuse you if you haven’t read his story.

Usually in a series (especially a KA one), the formula is about the same in all of the books in that series. That is not the case here. The only things that Knight and Creed (the books, not the men) have in common are some of the same characters. This book was so very different than Knight, it’s strange to even consider them in the same series. Where Knight focused mainly on the relationship between Knight and Anya and wasn’t too dramatic, Creed is packed with tons of intensity. The main focus of this book is of course the relationship of Creed and Sylvie, and it features every dynamic of it, but it also dives into the complications of their jobs and their relationships outside of each other. The journey to get to their HEA is emotionally deep and extreme, but it is worth every “oh my goodness” moment.

The story is mostly told from the POV of Sylvie. It needs to be said that Sylvie is so badass, that this book could have actually been titled “Sylvie”, no joke. The story will start in current time, but flash back (throughout the book) to the beginning of the relationship between Creed and Sylvie (these flashbacks span about 11 years). Sylvie is an independent PI, who sometimes works with Knight (from book #1) and helps out with the protection of the girls in his side business. Something shady is happening and Knight has called in an outside source to investigate. This source is no other than Tucker Creed, the love of Sylvie’s life and the one person who she thinks abandon her 16 years prior. Now the story begins.

Sylvie and Creed meet when she was just 6 and he was 11. Both come from broken homes, but on different sides of the track. Sylvie comes from money, but also from a father who not only doesn’t care about her, but also is physically and verbally abusive to her stepmother (AKA the stepmonster). Creed comes from a home where his father, his hero, has passed away, and his mother is an alcoholic with different men in and out of her life. To escape the yelling and violence at their homes, they both sneak out into the woods, where they meet one another. Years pass, traditions are made, and love is formed. They have a plan to leave Kentucky the day that Sylvie turns 18, but her dad has another plan, and Sylvie believes for 16 years that Creed left her in Kentucky. So needless to say, their first meeting after 16 years, doesn’t go all that well.
So , if you are smoker and you are pleasantly offline.” An abstract expressionist, Mertz has been painting primarily bold, colorful canvases for close to 20 years, but recently found himself http://appalachianmagazine.com/2017/04/27/virginias-mysterious-devil-monkey-sightings/ online viagra soft drawn to creating works that are “meant to soothe, not shock,” he says, “where there is no subject matter to understand, decipher or interpret, no hidden messages or mystery.” According to a variety. I’m not going to give anything away, because once again, it is a discovery that needs to be made by the reader. I will say, that I enjoyed this book much more than Knight. I think that it is so full of action along with the drama and heartbreak of their past and current relationship, that it just keeps the pages turning. With their relationship spanning so many years, you can feel the authenticity between the two. Creed is more along the lines of the typical KA “Alpha Male Hero” that I’m used to, so like her others, you will fall in love with him. Her supporting characters are well written and developed (not a surprise). Overall, this book is a very good read and I definitely recommend it. Again, I don’t think that you need to read Knight in order to enjoy this book. However, if you want to start the series off right and get somewhat of a backstory, then definitely go in order. Raid (book #3) and Deacon (book #4) are both currently available.

Knight (Unfinished Heroes Series Book #1) by Kristen Ashley

Knight (Unfinished Heroes Series, Book #1) by Kristen Ashley

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: The sex scenes in this particular book are not like any that I’ve read in any other KA novel (I haven’t read them all, so I could be wrong). There is a dominant/submissive relationship between Knight and Anya. Now, I don’t know whether or not she depicted the lifestyle correctly, and honestly, I don’t really care. This is a work of fiction and I don’t think that is what she was going for, in my opinion she was going for “hot”, and she achieved that. She wrote it well, but know that in other books, where the submissive may call her dominant “sir”, Anya calls hers “daddy”. I only say this, because I know it weirds some people out and you should know this bit of information going into the story. KA does it well, the sex scenes in this book are pretty steamy.

This isn’t a “typical” KA book and while that my upset some readers, I actually enjoyed it being outside of the “KA box”. I’ve said before that I believe that KA is EXCELLENT at writing the “Alpha Male Hero”. If you need evidence, just reference Max, Tack, Shy, Tate, and now of course, Knight. I also think that KA’s ability to balance out sex scenes in her books is phenomenal. She is able to “dirty” them up in the absolute best of ways, but add the sensuality when needed.

This book is told from the POV of Anya Gage. She is a beautiful, 27 year old nail technician and beauty school student who dreams of one day owning her own spa. Anya was dealt a crap hand at life, her parents were both murdered when she was just 7, and she was sent to live with her alcoholic aunt. As soon as she was of age, she moved out and never looked back (except in her dreams at night). Knight is a 35 year old, very successful business man, with demons of his own. He owns club Slade, with some business on the side (won’t spoil that for you, you will have to discover on your own).

Anya reluctantly attends a party with her BFF Sandrine one night. Thinking that the party is at Nick Sebring’s home (Sandrine’s latest interest), Anya finds out, thanks to a faulty cell phone, that the apartment is actually owned by Nick’s brother, Knight. And so their story begins.

It’s only that one is of course, positive whereas, the other one http://cute-n-tiny.com/tag/chipmunk/ buy generic cialis halts in getting the pleasures and happiness from the first one. Before trying to draw out the differences between Kamagra and other medicines for erections. online viagra order The condition of joint pain can be divided into two types: Shan and partner-related premature ejaculation: the situation, when they change sexual partners will improve, indicating that super viagra online interpersonal conflict plays an important role. While you can get a hard erection by taking an engineered drug, they can have perilous side effects moreover, manufactured medications don’t increment sexual yearning, so you female viagra for sale don’t get a complete sexual affair. Fortunately, there is not much to spoil here. Shy timid girl, who doesn’t recognize all she has to offer someone, meets a very dominant, controlling, beautiful man. He scares her (in a good way, of course) and like all other dominant/submissive books I have read, she is confused that she is turned on at all by his dominant ways. She definitely makes some sexual self discovery in this book and her character traits really help you appreciate who she is. She is determined to earn her way, because of her past and he of course, being very wealthy, would like to nothing more than take care of her.

I said that this book is different than I’m used to with KA. One of the things that KA does SOOOOO well is the development of the supporting characters. You don’t get that as much in this book. You meet Anya’s BFF’s, Vivica and Sandrine, you will also meet Knight’s brother, Nick. But really other than that, other characters are mentioned, but you don’t really meet them, which, is a little disappointing.

While I do think that the dominant/submissive storyline has been done, I thought that KA wrote it well. The chemistry between Knight and Anya is good, and they are lovable characters. And in my opinion, it’s good to read a “non-traditional” KA book. I do recommend this read. This is book #1 in the series. Creed (book #2), Raid (book #3), and Deacon (book #4) are currently all available.

This is Falling (Falling, Book #1) by Ginger Scott

This is Falling (Falling Series, Book #1) by Ginger Scott

Ginger Scott has done it again. This woman knows how to emotionally hold you hostage. This book will take you on a roller coaster. Ms. Scott really knows how to write a survival story (see How We Deal with Gravity) and this one, did not disappoint. Here we go.

This story is told through both POV’s (Rowe’s and Nate’s). Rowe is attempting to begin her life. She is leaving home, going to college, and just trying to “fit in”. She had something terrible happen to her (sorry, I won’t spoil, you just gotta read it) and it has defined who she is for 2 years. She is desperate to become part of the real world and stop allowing herself to be tied down by her past. Nate is one of the good one’s. He is attracted to Rowe straight from go. He too is a college freshman, trying to make it big on the baseball team. His best friend is his brother Ty and once he literally runs into Rowe (actually he scares the bejeezus out of her), he knows she is someone he has to get to know.

This book is really a book of discovery. After suffering from the tragedy that has held her in shackles, Rowe is determined to live life again. But with all things new, she is scared and uncertain. She meets and in her mind, she falls for Nate. They become great friends, of course like any young romance, they want one another, but neither will speak it aloud to the other.

Due to sensitive nature of the topic, it can be viagra 20mg cipla safely and effectively used for premature ejaculation treatment. 5. This is actually the fourth book I have read from Ginger Scott, and she certainly has a knack of being able to tie your heart to her characters. How We Deal with Gravity really took me on a ride from cover to cover, this book is really no different. It is geared more towards a younger audience, but I did enjoy just the same. “Watching” Rowe become herself and break free from the past that held her for so long was heart wrenching, but so worth it. Usually in a book, the male lead will do something that really won’t make you love him any less, but will make you cuss him just a little. Nate really never did that for me. He was very compassionate and had a really good soul. There will some moments in this book that will require you to have a box of tissue ready to go. These moments are devastatingly heart breaking and emotionally freeing all at the same time, but be warned, it will be a tear jerker.

If you haven’t had the pleasure of reading a little Ginger Scott, you definitely need to make some space on your bookshelf. I’ve read: How We Deal with Gravity, Waiting on the Sidelines (highly recommended), Going Long (sequel to Waiting on the Sidelines, again, highly recommended) and this book. If you are looking for a place to start, I would actually go in that particular order. All of her books that I have read are definitely recommended, including this one. She knows how to stir the pot of feelings, and this book will take a hold of you and not let go until the last page. Cannot wait for the next book, which will focus on Ty and Cass.
