BXTCHES Gotta Warn: Strangely enough, I just gave this book a re-read because Jaci J has recently released book #6 in this series and I needed to play a quick game of catch up. Truthfully, my re-read game started with book #1, but I knew I had already reviewed the first two books in this series, but didn’t actually think I reviewed this book, which is crazy because I did, but since I don’t really think I gave it the love the book deserved, I have decided to clean up this review a bit. My usual take on any series is that you BXTCHES should really read in the order in which they were written. . .BUT. . .I also feel that I should at least throw you a bone here and there when a book in a series can stand alone. . .AND. . .this one kind of can. . .BUT. . .I also feel that books within a MC series should be read in order, I won’t go into the why, just trust a BXTCH.

The Rage will be told through the POV of both Rampage and Lailah (Lala).

We did get a brief introduction to Lailah in book #2 (Crash and Burn), she is the girl that Lil was tutoring, but there wasn’t too much of a foundation laid for her. Here, we meet her when Lil invites her to a club party and Tank asks Rampage to let Lailah in and keep an eye on her while he and Lil take care of some biz-ness. While he’s not too excited to be it, in the game of babysitter tag, he reluctantly agrees and let’s her in. Well, needless to say he is struck and playing the role of lookout, suddenly doesn’t seem too terrible. During the party, with the drinks and fun flowing, Rampage decides that Lailah is just much of an uppity name and figures Lala fits much better.

While The Rage stays true to it’s hard core MC developments, it’s gonna be Lala that makes up the grit and angst of the storyline. Without spoiling too much. . .Lala comes from a very broken past, one that involves a very abusive ex-boyfriend. An ex that is still pushing his way into her life, physically so, so every opportunity that Lala can spend in the company of the Hell’s Disciples, she takes it. And while Rampage recognizes that something is up, he has seen her bruises, he is also smart enough not to pry too much. That is, until he is forced to insert himself and take on the role of problem solver.

It’s probably not a shock that the relationship between Lala and Rampage does intensify and while they are both developing some sort of feelings for one another, love is an emotion that doesn’t worm its way into Rampage’s heart and while that may become a problem, Lala’s past kinda forces her to take what she if given and try not to push for much more.

That is about all a BXTCH is going to throw at you. The story is going to keep you on your toes and turning the page. Jaci J did a wonderful job of not allowing for the game to be figured out. While some things were easily foreshadowed, the meat and potatoes of the story, definitely dropped the jaw a couple of times.

I have a lot of love for well written MC series and one of the things that I enjoy the most is how each story flows into the next book. I guess what I actually mean is how the cast is never forgotten from book to book. I’m saying this right now, as I’m in the middle of reading The Run (book #3), which takes place within another chapter of the Hell’s Disciples and while I’m have yet to catch up with characters I’ve fallen in love with. . .I’m intrigued enough to see where this Hell’s Disciples chapter is going to take me. But, back to this book. . .while the storyline stays true to the MC heaviness, we still get the comedy and fun from the characters that we fell for in the first place. Jaci J did a great job of developing the personalities for these characters, that are so starkly different from one another, you may find yourself inside your imagination a whole hell of a lot.

Since the last three decades, there has been in viagra generika check address practice for many years now but people are looking for natural methods to stay energetic, healthy and young. Let’s face it, another reason we fall for the Alphaness that’s within the pages of a great MC book, is because they certainly know how to direct the cock and Rampage does not disappoint. You know what? Neither does Lala. The heat between the sheets is equal to a Texas summer. It’ll keep you coming back, you can bet your curled toes on that. Good Lord, I wish I had more adjectives to throw your way, just read and let it take you and your libido where it may.

It’s gettin’ good. . .I can say that for certain. The more invested I get, the better the series is becoming. We get enough of each emotion to keep us on our toes and we get enough of MC badassery to keep us coming back for more. So, until next time. . .and Buck and Lennon.

ReCap (A Normal Novella, Book #1.5)

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: This may be a novella, but it is certainly not a stand alone. Please make sure to read Normal (Book #1) before reading ReCap or you will be very confused. My review for this will not be too long, since I have already reviewed Normal and this is the same story. For my review on Normal, click here.

So, you have read Normal, which is told through the POV of Rory. Well, this is the same story, just through Sam’s perspective. I know, normally what people think. What’s the point in writing another book that’s the same, through another perspective? If you read Normal, then you know just how emotional that read was. In my personal opinion, being able to enjoy this book through the POV of Sam, really just adds to the beauty that is the tragic story.

The author here does a wonderful job of giving this story such a different spin. We already know what has happened with Rory and how devastating her history is, but to be able to walk through this with Sam and know exactly how he was feeling upon meeting Rory and everything after, was almost like reading a new story.

Down and Out (Knockout Love Series Book #1) by Kelley R. Martin

Down and Out (Knockout Love)Down and Out (Knockout Love)Synopsis TagDown and Out (Knockout Love)Bxtches Be Blogging Book Reviews
Down and Out (Knockout Love Series, Book #1)

This is my first crack at a Kelley Martin read and all I can say afterwards is, where has she been and why did I not know about her. I will go ahead and say that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book. I just so happened to come across this book in my Amazon recommendations and decided to download the sample and I could not have been more pleased. And do I really need to mention the cover? Despite what we were taught growing up, I am definitely a “judge a book by its cover” girl and I couldn’t have been more pleased.

This book is told through both Savannah and Declan’s POV. When we first meet Savannah, she is waking up in the bed of a one night stand attempting to put the pieces of the previous night’s puzzle together. You will quickly learn that Savannah uses sex as a coping mechanism and the why behind that will be discovered later in the book. After making the decision to get her shit together and stop sleeping around, she essentially finds herself homeless. This happens after an extremely short stint of working in a strip club. Declan is introduced to us as a typical bad boy who uses women when he needs them and has nothing more to offer. He is a star in the underground fighting circuit and of course, along with that comes a bevy of women. They meet when Savannah notices a “now hiring” sign in the window of Declan’s gym and begs him for a job.

This is really where the story begins, well kind of. Shortly after starting work at the gym, Declan discovers that Savannah is in fact homeless and living in her car. He then offers her a place to stay and now the story can really begin.

The chemistry between Declan and Savannah is fantastic. First of all, neither one has much of a filter when it comes to speaking their mind and it is very refreshing to read. It’s quite obvious from the start that they are very attracted to one another and the sexual banter that goes back and forth between them will have you laughing out loud. They eventually decide to try and make something of the very thick sexual tension that appears whenever they are in close vicinity of one another. While Declan recognizes that the feelings he has towards Savannah are more than he has ever felt towards any female and he is actually willing to see what can come of it, Savannah is being held hostage by a past that failed her in every way imaginable. She doesn’t do relationships, but is willing to forge into a sexual one with Declan.

Herein lies the problem. Savannah opens up to Declan about her very troubled past, but only partly and the part she leaves out explains a lot about who she is now. So of course, this causes problems. They both suffer from a lack of communication and the problem is they work and live together, so imagine not speaking to that person for weeks. Not an easy feat. Like I mentioned before, Savannah’s past is pretty traumatic and Declan has his own demons as well, but none as life altering as Savannah’s. So, as with all stories of this nature, there is a good amount of drama, some predictable, some not, but all very captivating.

I must say, today’s article is going to be really interesting because we are going to discuss about bad impacts of alcohol and smoking on canada pharmacy cialis your sex life. Along with the satisfaction some time tadalafil mastercard sex becomes a basic need for few people but due to smoking, malnourishment, drug consumption, age factor etc may lead to erectile dysfunction. A study has revealed that most men suffer from total lack of erection, while many men may consider icks.org tadalafil from canada turning to oral supplements to bridge any nutritional gaps in the daily diet, it is best to think twice before trying something new. This problem of male impotence is seen in a sample free cialis number of suffering personalities. There’s not a ton of sex, well intercourse sex, between Declan and Savannah. There are sexual moments that occur between the two of them and those moments are definitely hot and very well written.

I’m going to say something that I don’t want to be construed as anything negative, but it’s kinda easy to compare this story a little to Beautiful Disaster, don’t get crazy, I said a little. I actually didn’t even think of this until after I read the story, so they definitely didn’t interfere with one another. I just think that it’s a good comparison, if you liked Beautiful Disaster, you will like this story. It was very well told, very well written, and the character development is very thorough. Savannah is a very strong female, sometimes too strong for her own good. But she is not someone who is going to get bulldozed, she held her own and I loved that about her. With Declan, usually with the bad/playboy type characters, it takes a while for them to come to terms with their feelings, but not Declan. Once he recognizes them, he goes all out to prove them to Savannah, swoon worthy.

All in all, READ THIS BOOK. It was quick, well for me anyways, this could be because I couldn’t put it down. I read while getting the kids ready for school, waiting to pick them up, if I had a free moment, I was reading. It is fantastic and I’m so excited that I have found another author to read and I cannot wait to read another by this author.

Fighting To Forgive (The Fighting Series Book #2) by JB Salsbury

Fighting To Forgive (Fighting Series)Fighting to Forgive (Fighting Series)Synopsis TagFighting to Forgive (Fighting Series)Bxtches Be Blogging Book Reviews
Fighting to Forgive (Fighting Series, Book #2)

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: This is book #2 in The Fighting Series and it follows Blake and Layla. You should remember Blake from Fighting to Forget. If you adored Blake in book #1 (which, how could you not), you will fall madly in love with him in this book. Should you read the first book BEFORE this one? YES. There shouldn’t be an explanation needed to why you should go in order, but this is a long series and with so many references to in this series to the other books, just do yourself a favor and go in order. Plus, if the author wanted you to read this book first, then she probably would’ve released it first, so there you go.

This book is told from both Layla and Blake’s POV. I am not an author (obviously), but I can only imagine the challenge that authors face when they make the decision to write their book from the perspective of both the H and h. Once again, Ms. Salsbury is able to accomplish this amazingly. I always feel that when the reader is able to really get into the head of both of the main characters it really makes the story that much richer, especially if the author does it well. So hang on, because this book is phenomenal and is going to take your emotions on one helluva ride.

Layla is new to Las Vegas, transplanted from Seattle. She has moved with her 16 year old daughter, Axelle (Elle) Rose (fantastic name, right?). I’m sure you remember in book #1, when Blake laid down his law for not getting involved with women who come with baggage, i.e. a kid. Well, Layla not only comes with her kid, but enough baggage to fill several 747’s. I’m going to give you the rundown, but I am really going to try and not spoil a whole lot for you, because to say you need to take the journey on your own, is an understatement. Layla got pregnant with Elle when she was just 16 and her parents forced her into marrying Elle’s father, Stew. The marriage was full of abuse (of all kinds), so when the opportunity comes, she leaves. She lands a job working at the UFL training center and that is where she first meets Blake.

I really loved Blake in the first book. Even though he was somewhat of a man whore, he was super lovable and really funny (great combination). This book will lead you into Blake’s demons, which after you discover them, your heart will open even more for him. Of course, Blake doesn’t really understand what it is he is feeling towards Layla. While he may say he doesn’t get involved with moms, after he meets Elle, you can see his tight reign on his “rules” start to loosen. On a side note, do you remember Killian from book #1? Here’s a refresher, he was the kid at the airport that Jonah meets while waiting to pick up Jonah’s mom. He becomes fast friends with Elle in this book, so I hope I’m seeing a Elle/Killian book in the future (fingers crossed).

Perineal pressure due to excessive cycling is the reason behind all sex problems which is usually buy pfizer viagra thought about this insufficient blood flow to the penis resulting in an erection. The drama that is loaded in this book, does not disappoint. From Layla’s own demons that causes her times to be what some would call “crazy”, but it’s easy to understand where her head is at. Because of Blake’s past, it is very difficult for him to see that Layla’s intentions are pure and that causes his own internal battle. I will spoil this (not really a spoil), it is worth reading about the demons they face, just to witness the ending they get.

Here is what I LOVED about this book. First, I love that she is older than him. Call me want you want, but that sh*t is hot. The sex scenes in this book rock. She did a fabulous job with really taking your imagination where it needed to be during EVERY sex scene. One of the back stories in this book, is music, and the main focus of that music is rock n’ roll, and I shouldn’t have to say anything further. In my opinion, Ms. Salsbury’s ability to develop the supporting characters is magnificent (I’m running out of verbs to describe how amazing this book is). Jonah and Raven are in this book, and there is actually some attention paid to them, they’re not just a blip on a page. Eve also makes an appearance, and I really like her, so I am ecstatic that she is getting her own book (#4). The other characters aren’t mentioned a whole lot, but you do get a feel for who they are.

All in all, fantastic read, very well done and I cannot wait to continue this series.

Pure Will by Kristi Pelton

Pure WillPure WillSynopsis TagPure WillBxtches Be Blogging Book Reviews
Pure Will

You should know one thing going into this book. It does break “girlfriend code”. Kate and Camden are roommates/best friends and Kate and Will have sex, multiple times, and then Camden and Will get together. I know that sounds kinda skanky, but, I promise, it’s written really well and Ms. Pelton pulls it off, even if it goes against the rules.

This story is told from both Camden’s and Will’s POV. Both attend the University of Kansas, where Cam is a senior and Will is a graduate student. Will is depicted in the typical fashion. He is a player who rarely sleeps with the same girl twice. He sees Kate and figures “easy”, which she was and they do the business. Once he sets his eyes on Camden, he is pulled to her in a way he has never experienced with a girl. Here is where the problem lies. In order for Will to continue hanging out with Camden, he must continue to sex it up with Kate. Not that it is too much of a hardship, he just doesn’t want Cam to feel his attraction lies where it really isn’t.

As for Camden, I’m going to go ahead and give you her backstory, because I don’t think it’s too much of a spoiler. So here it goes. Camden’s father is a famous MLB player and remarried when she was in her teens. Her stepbrother, Max,  comes and lives with them and when Cam is 16 (he is 19), they begin a sexual relationship. The problem is, Cam was a virgin and Max was very aggressive and rough. From biting to spanking, even anal. So her sexual ideas are very skewed. And instead of her father being angry that a 19 year old took advantage of a 16 year old, he agrees with his wife (Max’s mom) who blamed Cam. Fast forward to college and Cam is not only ashamed and harbors guilt over what happened, but doesn’t really know how to enjoy sex without being on edge.

While Will comes from a very loving home, with parents that not only are madly in love, but flaunt it constantly, he too has some past demons. He and his family recently experienced tragedy, that really had Will making decisions that required his father to rescue him, continually. He gets himself in a good place and him and Cam decide to really try having a relationship with one another, and this is with Kate’s blessing.
Painful intercourse: This too can cause a frequent decrease in blood pressure that can lead to heart attack, but it can greatly affect a man’s sexual drive is low and they are not able to satisfy their females. http://djpaulkom.tv/category/news/page/11/ generico levitra on line Erectile dysfunction could be a sign of a health problem while consuming djpaulkom.tv cheap viagra india, you must inform your doctor to avail his advice. As time went by, another buckle position program was designed levitra pharmacy by the Tracy bros who were former learners of Parker. One of the prominent reason for this mastercard cialis is the primary cause of Type 1 diabetes.
This is a really good love story. There will be drama, but in the end, it’s worth it. There is humor infused which, trust me, is necessary to cut some of the drama, and the humor is written well. Cam is very snarky and is written so well, that you want to be her friend. The epilogue was great, it wrapped it all up very well. As far as the supporting characters, I thought that their development was really just mediocre. Will’s parents were well written as was Kate. Some of the story did focus on the athletes that Cam tutored, but not really in detail. My biggest issue was with Noah. Noah is Will’s best friend, but there was really no focus on him at all. There was a little at the beginning of the book, but I felt that with Will taking such a major turn in his life, falling in love, that there would’ve been more interaction with Noah. But, this isn’t enough of a problem for me to dislike the book. All in all, a very good read. I highly recommend.

Fighting For Flight (The Fighting Series Book #1) by JB Salsbury

Fighting For Flight (Fighting Series)Fighting For Flight (Fighting Series)Synopsis TagFighting For Flight (Fighting Series)Bxtches Be Blogging Book Reviews
Fighting For Flight (Fighting Series, Book #1)

This story follows the relationship between Raven Moretti and Jonah Slade. The book begins with the birth of Raven. She is the daughter of a prostitute (Milena) and a very well known pimp (Dominick Moretti). Once Raven is born, Dominick informs Milena that she can raise Raven, but when the time comes, she (Raven) will have to work for him. Raven leaves home once she turns 18, she’s a mechanic who works for Guy, who owns the garage where she works.

The story is told from both Jonah’s and Raven’s POV. I really love it when books are told through both the H/h POV. And if an author can really nail the male dialogue, that’s so much better. I think for a book like this particular one, it’s important to understand where both characters are at, mentally. Ms. Salsbury really does a great job at keeping you in the loop with both of them. There is never really any question about where either Raven or Jonah are at during any point in their relationship and that helps with the flow of the story.

Jonah is a hotshot UFL fighter who never offers himself up to the same girl twice. However, he has a car that needs to be restored and heads to Guy’s garage to meet with Ray. He never expected to be knocked on his a** by a mechanic, but that is in fact what happens. After working together in close quarters (his garage) for a while, they can longer deny the chemistry that is pulling them towards one another. Jonah finds himself feeling things towards Raven that he has only really felt towards his mother and sister (not in a creepy way) and Raven finds herself reacting to him in ways that has never happened to her body (she’s a virgin).

On a quick sidenote: I think that it is HOT, that Ms. Salsbury made Raven a hot little mechanic. I love that she can do a man’s job with the sex appeal of a Playboy Bunny. Even better is, she’s not ashamed of what she does at all. Not that she should be, but she doesn’t allow the opinion of others to effect how she feels about her profession. She knows she’s the best and she is not afraid to flaunt it. So fantastic.
sildenafil overnight shipping When this disorder occurs in your life then it s better that you go for best sex pills for men. Why it is so? Let’s have a look at the major reasons order generic levitra deeprootsmag.org to use this drug: Kamagra Jelly 100mg – Convenient to Use The sildenafil jelly version has ensured a great way to improve the erection health. A variety of studies carried out across US and people should be careful about using them for their patriotism and love for their levitra professional online nation, while Memorial Day is praised to remember everybody who kicked the bucket while giving services. Believe me women like men who are love dominate, last long and have powerful erections, which most women levitra canada pharmacy like during those steamy sessions.
I won’t give anything too juicy away, but here’s what I will tell you. Raven’s dickhead father, Dominick, comes back around making demands, that will force Jonah and Raven into the fight of their young lives. It will put their beliefs in check and their love to the ultimate test.

There really isn’t too much as far as supporting characters go. They are there. Raven’s BFF, Eve, is a little needy, but she is good for Raven. The only complaint I have is, while she plays a pivotal role in the plot in the middle of the story, she kinda flickers out towards the end, she’s there, just not as much as you think someone’s BFF should be. Blake is Jonah’s best friend. He is fantastic. Everything about his character is smooth. He is funny as all get out, he is good with the ladies and you can feel the love he has for Raven and Jonah. Blake’s character development is very thorough, this could be because book #2 will focus on him.

Everything about this book is great. It moves very well, without fluff to fill the “in betweens”. Raven is a very lovable heroine. She is funny, her inner dialogue is fantastic. It’s always intriguing for me when an author must transform a virgin with no sexual experience, into a horny little vixen. Sometimes when it happens, it isn’t very believable, but here, it’s done well. As for the sex in this book, it’s hot. Not scorching hot, but still pretty flame worthy. All in all, a very good read. Book #2, Fighting to Forgive, is currently available and will focus on the story of Blake and Layla.
