BXTCHES Gotta Warn: This is book #5 in the Cold Fury series and the first book in the series where our leading couple aren’t in any previous book (with the exception of Alex-the first book). Hawke and Vale are new to the Cold Fury family and while I don’t usually flaunt any book in a series as a standalone, this one can really stand on its own. However, it may mess up the long term flow of the series if it’s read out of order. But your book, your choice.

Hawke will be told through the POV’s of both Hawke and Vale.

This book starts seven years prior, when Hawke and Vale are in love. However, with Hawke about to leave to start his NHL career, Vale has decided to end things with him, by telling him that she no longer loves him. As your reading, you’ll definitely be able to pick up on the fact that something is not adding up. You know she’s still in love, but you just won’t be able to figure out what her motivation is and it will not be revealed until much later in the book.

Fast forward seven years and it’s Hawke’s first day with the Carolina Cold Fury. He’s super pumped to be playing for the defending champions and he’s headed into the first team meeting of the season. He knows Garrett (book #2) and finds himself sitting with him along with Alex (book #1) and Zack (book #3). Everything is flowing well until the team announces a new assistant athletic trainer. . .and that person in none other than Vale Campbell.

Clearly there is some unsettled business between Hawke and Vale and if we’re going for honesty here, Hawke most certainly deserves some answers. There are a lot of balls in play here, or should I say pucks. . .anyhow, life is definitely taking some shots at Vale and she is doing her best just to keep her head above water. You add Hawke to the mix and she may very well drown. Buckle up, because it’s gonna be one hell of a journey.
It comes in distinctive measurements (25 mg, 50 mg, and 100 mg). levitra sale robertrobb.com There are some people who tend cheap 25mg viagra to face this disorder as increased age brings some diseases as well. Even though the previous books in this series allowed us to play catch up with all the ones we have fallen in love with. We will get drop ins, we also get a really good introduction to Max-who has the next book, but Hawke is really just a focus on Hawke and Vale with her dad thrown in because he is very imperative to this story. Ooh, we do get a great update on Ryker and Gray.

Up to this point, it was all (in no particular order). . .the H/h meet. . .add in a bit of drama. . .they fall in love. . .the sex is fantastic. . .then it’s all about the happy ever after. With Hawke, there’s already a history between our two leads and most of it’s good, but there was never closure (for either) when the relationship ended. And it may not be closure that either get, in fact that goes flying out the window, it will most definitely be some pretty hot sex.

A couple of things important to note. It is not necessary to have any sort of hockey knowledge in order to enjoy the men of the Cold Fury hockey team. Also, Ryker’s book ended a season, with a championship by the way, and Hawke’s book will kick one off.

We’re now five books in and we’ve built a pretty good team so far and it seems like it’s just gonna get better the further we move into it. Max is next and we were able to get a good dose of him during this story, so you should definitely be anticipating. Max’s story will run at the same time as Hawke’s.

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: This is the very first book in the Cold Fury Hockey series and I got a bit of a confession to make. I have actually read a couple books in this series and this isn’t one of them, which means I didn’t not go in the proper order. Zack was my first introduction to the Cold Fury hockey team and I followed him up with Ryker (books #3 and #4) and at the time, I thought they were fine to be read on their own. However, I have recently decided to read this entire series from the beginning and now I know that I should’ve started with Alex and I do believe you should as well.

Alex will be told through the POV’s of both Alex and Sutton.

Alex plays hockey for the Carolina Cold Fury and while his skills on the ice are solid, his relationship with the fans, teammates, and those around him need work. He takes pride in being named MVP (most valuable prick) and makes no apologies for the way he treats women. They know the score well before the game is even played. However, the higher ups at the Cold Fury aren’t too happy with the image he is currently portraying. Enter Sutton.

Sutton is a youth drug counselor at a crisis center and though she had a rough start in life (a addict dad), her and her mom came out on the other side with the family they deserved. She has a step dad she adores, a little brother who lights up her life, and a career that she just knows is her life calling. So when the opportunity arises for her to kick start a youth drug awareness program with a local athlete, she is ecstatic.

I’m sure you can see where this is headed and you’d be right. However, getting there isn’t gonna be a walk in the park. While Sutton may have had a rough start at life, she’s always had at least one loving parent. . .her mother. Alex also had a rough childhood. An alcoholic father and a father who couldn’t make it in hockey and decided to put all that rejected energy into turning his son into a star. And while it worked, Alex is definitely a star, he’s playing a game he hates for people who ultimately hate him. It’s gonna be a rough ride down a rocky road before the path smoothes out for these two.

Since Alex kicks off this entire series, introductions get made in this book and no surprise, with this being a hockey romance, you’re gonna meet some of the teammates and those who will make up the subsequent books. The main secondary character you will meet in this book is Garrett. He is the focus of book #2 and becomes a really good friend to Alex during this story. Since this series revolves around a hockey franchise, it really becomes an ensemble series, which gives us the chance to play catch up with previous books as we move on into the series. So, as we meet and fall in love with new characters, we also get the chance to find out what some of our favorites are up to.

This further equips couples with the skills and behaviors required to be tadalafil soft tabs navigate to these guys safe and smart drivers. Clinical Trials Indicate Acupuncture Provides Relief The American Cancer Society estimates about 15.5 million people are currently leading lives after cancer. on line levitra In this way, the canada pharmacy tadalafil product helps males neglecting adverse effects over their mental health. pill viagra Ice can initially be used to reduce inflammation. One would think with Alex being the prick that everyone labels him with, he would’ve been more of an asshole. Now, he’s definitely rough around the edges, but it doesn’t take him long to really begin to fall for and get sucked in by the genuine kindness that envelops Sutton. And Alex won’t be the only one getting sucked, you will as well.

It’s important to note that you don’t need to have a love or even an understanding of hockey to enjoy this series. There will be no lack of anything by not following hockey, if anything, you may develop a love for it.

Alex is a great kick start to a series. Sutton is able to smooth Alex out in a way he didn’t believe possible. And Alex was able to give Sutton a world she deserved. It’s not gonna be all romance and passion. There will be some trials and tribulations to overcome, but walking to the edge of the unknown in fear, only to see the beauty before you is what living life and falling in love is about. And Alex and Sutton do not disappoint.

That doesn’t mean that it doesn’t read well by itself, I think it will (I can’t say 100% because I’ve read them all and in order). But having said all of that, I can say with absolute certainty that this series is worth the entire read, books 1-7, and in order. It flows well from book to book and the relationship that develops between the characters and the reader is so worth it.

Coup De Grace will be told through the POV’s of both Michael and Nikki.

We were first introduced to the idea of a Michael and Nikki back in book #2 (Double Tap), which happens to be the book that features Nikki’s brother, Nico. We also got the introduction to Nikki in that book since she and Georgia are BFF’s. In the books that follow, Michael gets dangled a lot, but he’s more shrouded in mystery and all it does is leave us wanting more, which comes through loud and clear in Coup De Grace

We know Michael is a member of the Kilgore SWAT team, we know that while the other guys consider Michael a brother, they also don’t know too much about him. We also know that Michael’s torso and arms are covered in tattoos, which would usually not be a talking point in an alpha heavy book, but it’s something that has been brought up in almost every storyline, so we know there is some significance to his body art and now we finally get to find out what it represents.

This is the first book in the series where the featured couple not only previously knew one another, but had a relationship as well, but a relationship that is no longer intact when the book begins. It doesn’t take too terribly long before Nikki decides to give Michael another shot and we’re off on the journey we’ve been dying to take.

Michael and Nikki getting back together is the easy part, it’s the staying together that will have you glued to the page. There’s the ex-wife, Joselin-which you somewhat met in the last book-and who also happens to work at the same hospital as Nikki, there’s disapproving parents (his, not hers), there’s Michael’s personal demons, and there’s the reason why they broke up in the first place. Take all of that and add in some crime and suspense and you got yourself a pretty damn good story.

What’s more, males tadalafil purchase suffering from infertility may also take it as studies have shown that it can provide a substantial skin lightening effect while remaining harmless to the melanin-producing cells.
Coup De Grace is the final book in the Code 11-KPD SWAT series, but no worries, the 1st book in the 2nd generation series is about to be released (January 2020), which I’m sure will have us revisiting all the ones we fell for in this series. Even though the last book (#6) didn’t revisit a lot of the characters from this series, this particular book does, while giving us some new ones in the form of Michael’s family. Not only do they all come back around, but we get to also catch up on the happenings in their lives. What I love about this series is it gave us characters that we were able to fall in love with as well as look forward to revisiting time and time again, starting all the way back with Luke and Reese. That’s why I think it’s so important to read the series in order. You miss out on that connection if you don’t start from the very beginning. Every character written for this series brings something to the story, whether it’s a character that you love or that you love to hate, they will add something that will captivate you.

Time for some truth. Going into this book with the knowledge that Michael and Nikki had an established relationship and we kept getting tickled with it throughout the whole series, had me thinking that the sexual chemistry between them would be through the roof and while it was pretty hot, other couples in the series singed just a bit more. However, just like all the books in this series, it was all written well, it just didn’t curl my toes the way I was anticipating.

There is going to be a lot going down in this book with a lot of moving parts and while I enjoyed this entire series, this book was probably my least favorite, though that’s not in any way saying that it’s a bad story, it’s definitely not. However, I just thought that there were plot lines dropped throughout the book that didn’t tie up enough in the end. I actually thought that all the characters in the book were very well written. I loved Michael, I loved Nikki, I even loved them together, I just thought that some of the side stories were rushed in being tied up and because of that, there wasn’t enough closure. Having said all of that, if I were to re-read this series tomorrow, I would re-read this one as well.

I started this series a long, long, long time ago, but never got around to this particular book. With the 2nd generation series coming out soon, I decided to give the whole series a re-read and I’m so glad I did. Lani Lynn Vale does a wonderful job at keeping the storylines fresh and interesting and the characters never bleed into one another, they all have very distinguishing personalities and give you different reasons for why you fall for them. She knows how to cover the spectrum and tie the humor to the angst to the passion to the suspense and present it all in a way that has you bouncing from one book to the next. I cannot wait for the next generation and all that it promises to give. Since this is the final review for this particular series, I do think it’s important to bow our heads and say a bit of praise for all the hotness that is on the covers on each and every book and to say a little prayer that if you ever need the SWAT team knocking down your door, that the real world is a tiny bit comparable to the fantasy in which our imagination lives. Bxtches Be Reading

Revel by Shey Stahl | Review on www.bxtchesbeblogging.comRevel by Shey Stahl | Review on www.bxtchesbeblogging.comRevel by Shey Stahl | Review on www.bxtchesbeblogging.comBxtches Be Blogging Book Reviews

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: Revel is the brother of Landon, who was the hottie featured in Blindsided (review here) and I cannot believe I am about to say this. . .BUT. . .you don’t need to read Blindsided in order for you to enjoy Revel. In fact, the only mention of Landon in this book is during conversation. Now, I can admit that I am someone who judges my books by the covers, at least initially, but if ever there were a cover that told the story of character, it is this one and trust a BXTCH when I tell you that it’s to a T.

Revel will be told through the POV’s of both Taylan and Revel.

Even though it’s not necessary for you to read Blindsided (however, you totally should), that story does cover some basics, though some are briefly covered within this book. For example, Revel’s parents died when he was young and his grandmother (Oma) raised him and his siblings. His sister Jenna (Landon’s twin) passed young and his older brother Grant and Grant’s wife have also passed away, leaving their five children to Landon (which is the centerpiece of his story).

I’m not sure if you took the time to read the blurb, but in case you didn’t here you go. . .Revel Slade is the frontman of the band Revved. . .Taylan Ash is a pop princess who was born into the life. I’m sure you can guess at how well her and Revel get along, which is to say not at all. And just to put the pieces of the puzzle together for you. . .Taylan is the daughter of Jory, who is the CEO of Ash records. . .Hensley (also an artist) is the ex-girlfriend of Revel who fucked Jory, which is why she’s an ex. Don’t worry I’m not spoiling anything you wouldn’t have found out after the first couple of pages. And we can’t forget about Breckin, who is Taylan’s ex. Guess who’s all going on tour together? That’s right. . .Revved, Taylan, Hensley, and Breckin. . .along with some others who aren’t really spotlighted. This is some six degrees of separation shit. Not only are different genres coming together, but Revel and Taylan have a past that does not scream friends, hell it doesn’t even scream “Remember that one time I said ‘hi’ as I walked past you?”, so surely you can imagine how smoothly this tour will go.

Because of her past run-ins with Revel, some of those that surround Taylan. . .more specifically her dad and Breckin. . .are really trying to convince her to back out of the tour, which just adds more fuel to her already growing need for independence, individuality, and a crazy urgency to break free from the Princess of Pop title that has her shackled in chains that she is dying to burst out of. Which is why she is doing this tour. . .for herself.

The struggle for Taylan is real. She epitomizes what it means to be a people pleaser. She’s not 100% sure her dad actually cheated and she’s not in a place where she really wants to know, which is a conflict for her. She has a love/hate thing for Revel, she loves to look at him (who wouldn’t), she loves to watch him perform, but she hates who he is as a person. . .until she doesn’t.

Revel is everything you would expect from a tormented rock star. He lives the life on and off the stage and makes no apologies for his choices. But like any tortured soul, the darkness is what surrounds him and it takes rock bottom for the light to shine through.

One would think that the heart of this story takes place during the tour and while a good part of it does, after the tour is also important. So, I guess what I could/should say is that the guts of the book takes place during the tour, while the heart of the book is the after.
Where to buy male enhancement pills? There are several sources from where you can buy discount pharmacy viagra these herbal remedies from reliable online stores. Yes, here now you can get the online solution to beat your sexual disorder viagra online online called erectile dysfunction. They have proven to be useful for men of buy sildenafil india any age. Several other medicines introduced after you could try these out order sildenafil online but they could not be successful as it.
Shey Stahl does a wonderful job of focusing the spotlight on Revel and Taylan while allowing the supporting characters to shine through in a way that doesn’t take away from the ones telling the story and still adds the necessary layers of depth. She was able to give us a supporting cast that brought lightness to a story that got pretty heavy at times. She has the ability to develop characters so well, that she’ll leave you wondering when you’ll get sink into ‘their’ particular story.

We know that our rockstar is tortured, we know that his soul is a bit dark, we also know that he is smoking hot (that’s me judging the cover), but taking his profession into consideration. . .the hotness is kinda given, so it should be expected that his skills in the bedroom, backstage, under the stage, the tour bus. . .I’m sure you get it. . .are on par with the skills that he displays on stage and you wouldn’t be wrong. However, let’s not talk about the sex, let’s talk about the tension. It is so thick between Taylan and Revel, that even I was ready to pop. Revel kicks it off a little crass, but it doesn’t take long for things to get good and dirty, which is how this BXTCH prefers things and I’m not gonna spoil things, but know this. . .when you get to the portion of the programming where they finally do fuck, you may wanna have a pen and paper handy, because taking some notes might help us all a bit.

I will give you BXTCHES one more warning about Revel, well maybe a couple more. I didn’t one click it immediately, I knew once I began, it was gonna be damn near impossible to stop and it was, so you should know that going in. Also, this isn’t a girl meets boy, boy sweeps girl off her feet and they fall in love where they live happily ever after. This story requires them to step in and through some shit to make it to the other side. Not only are there a lot of topics in play with Revel. . .there’s addiction and cheating and scandals and discovery, but there will be a lot of emotions in play as well. . .it’s funny, it’s angsty, it’s heartbreaking, it’s gonna piss you off, it’s love. . .just be ready to sweep through the gamut of them all.

I’ve gone over this before, but Shade is the story that introduced me to Shey Stahl and while I can get captivated quite easy while reading a book, there was something about that particular book that hooked me. It was every element of the story. . .from the character development to the storyline to the way she presented the story. It had me craving more, just to see if it was that book or all of her books. Spoiler alert: it was all (so far). Now, I haven’t made it through her entire library (yet), but I did discover that she was quickly becoming one of my faves.

Revel was everything it was promised to be. Taylan is gonna check off a lot of boxes. It doesn’t take long to realize that she had been forcing her personality into a square shaped hole for far too long and all it took was going on tour with a damaged rock star for her to finally say fuck em’ all, she’s about live life on her terms. I mean, who couldn’t get behind that kind of woman. Revel isn’t perfection. In fact a good chunk of the time he is gonna be an asshole and you’ll have to get through all the flaws and all the scars to really see who he is, but the beauty is wading through it and taking that journey.

The Bachelor 2019 | Episode Six Re-Cap | 02.11.19

The Bachelor Re-Cap | www.bxtchesbeblogging.com

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: Let’s use this moment to share some stuff. Did you know that E! posted an article this last week, saying that Johnny Bananas was interested in being the next Bachelor? For the record, I am all for this idea. If you don’t know who Johnny Bananas is, he is THE staple (with the exception of CT) of MTV’s The Challenge. Now, Bananas is someone you either love, hate, or love to hate and depending on my mood, I can easily fall into all three of these categories. This will give fans a familiar face, while circumventing Bachelor Nation and even if you are someone who hates him, you have to admit that he has a certain quality about him that I think will flourish on this show. And his persona has been earned because of the situations he finds himself in on The Challenge. He has to be manipulative, he has to be able to scheme, he has to be an asshole, all while still being just the right amount of charming. Being the next Bachelor will put him in an atmosphere where he just has to be able to woo, so if you’re someone who usually hates him, you may find yourself falling for him when it’s all said and done. If you’re interested in the article posted by E!, click here.

We’re six weeks into the Fantasy League and after five weeks, my total is sitting pretty at 785. Week Five categories were: Goes on a Group Date (5 points); Receives a One-on-One Date Card (5 points); Cries-Tears on Face (5 points); Kisses Colton on the Lips (5 points); Wins Joe’s Survival Challenge (5 points); Says “Thailand” (5 points); Receives a Rose (5 points); Says “Falling in Love” (10 points). Week Six categories are: Goes on a Group Date (5 points); Kisses Colton on the Lips (5 points); Receives a Rose (5 points); Receives a One-on-One Date Card (5 points); Says “Falling in Love”, “Connection”, or “Relationship” (5 points); Tells Colton Some Women “Aren’t Ready”, or Are “Safe” or “Easier” Choices (10 points) Cries-Tears on Face (5 points);  Says “Vietnam” (5 points). My choices:The Bachelor 2019 Fantasy League | Week Six | www.bxtchesbeblogging.com

Last Week: Episode five was so jammed pack that it’s being continued tonight. First up was Elyse. She decided that she is not the woman who can share one man with multiple women, which would beg one to ask. . .“Have you seen the show?”. . .but nonetheless, in the end, she had to tell Colton goodbye. Onyeka decided to tell Colton some shit about Nicole, Nicole decided to retaliate against Onyeka by telling Colton some shit of her own and Colton needed a timeout from it all. But on a positive, Colton did tell Cassie that he was crazy about her and in my #TeamCassie corner, I’m taking that to mean that he really wanted to tell her that he was falling in love, but couldn’t because he wasn’t allowed to at this point. However, Alabama Hannah was the first to drop the L bomb and it went over well, because she was gifted another date rose.

Tonight On: We are picking up where we left off last week, which means we’re just waiting for a Rose Ceremony. There will be (2) one-on-one dates and (1) group date tonight. Oh and this fest is moving to Vietnam.

We’re picking up with Colton walking on the beach, I’m assuming in deep thought regarding life’s choices while Onyeka and Nicole are trying their best to protect their reputations amongst the girls. Because of the journey the episode took right back to high school, if you didn’t get your shot with Colton before the Onyeka vs. Nicole showdown happened, then your shit out of luck, because Chris is ringing the bell and it’s time for the roses to be handed out.

It’s bound to be a tense one and with Cassie, Heather, and Hannah B. safe, that leaves nine girls up for elimination. And with Nicole crossing her heart and saying a quick prayer to the Good Man above, she’s definitely hoping for a second chance at wooing Colton right out of his virginity.

In the end, Colton did what every lead should do when contestants bicker like toddlers and he sent them both home. It’s about time someone finally takes some advice from this BXTCH. On the bright side, surely we will see them both in Paradise.

Another episode, another VLOG and tonight the insight is a hope for clarity and that was really about all he shared.

With another location comes another balcony greeting. This time we were greeted with “Good morning, Vietnam!”. The originality is oozing from these guys.

“We really knead this date. . .” Hannah G. has finally had her number called and it is stressing some of these ladies out. This date is getting kicked off with a couples spa day, which includes a personal massage from Hannah to Colton, which most likely ended in some sort of happy ending. And if the massage didn’t get the ending that was most likely medically necessary, then the mud tub or shower they shared surely got the job done. Hannah does let us know in her confessional that if she got the chance for an overnight with Colton, then she would be taking advantage of it. You can read that however you see fit.

The nighttime is upon us without learning much about Hannah, except that she’s certainly ready to fast forward to the fantasy suites. Here’s hoping that we get a bit more insight under the moonlight. We did learn that they enjoy showering with one another and that Hannah makes Colton feel “very, very good”. We quickly learn that opening up is not Hannah’s “jam” and that she has trained herself to avoid it. It comes down to her parents divorce, which from the sound of it, ended ugly. The divorce does give them something in common, since Colton has gone through the same thing, my only issue (if that’s the right word) is why now? If someone has an issue with opening up, is it really an issue when you are able to do what you’re afraid of doing with someone that you don’t know all that well? Even if he makes her feel comfortable enough to do so, aren’t you risking a lot knowing that it could end bad for you and have you even more closed off than before? I’m not trying to downplay the effect her parents divorce had on her, but I also feel that it’s not haunting her as much in her adult life as she is wanting Colton (or us) to believe. Someone who has trust issues when it comes to opening up doesn’t really pick reality tv to find their happily ever after, which probably means that there is an underlying goal. But in the end, a connection is a connection and Hannah has another date rose to add to her bouquet and the distinction of being the second of the season to admit (to the cameras) that she is falling in love and the first that Colton admits to falling in love with.

The other two girls (Cassie and Caelynn) left in the mix that are probably the closest to Colton are spending their afternoon having a chat regarding Colton’s relationship with Hannah G. Neither are shocked that Hannah got the one-on-one, but the beauty queen believes that Hannah is someone who has relied on her beauty for most of her life and I do believe that there’s a pot and a kettle somewhere in that hypocrisy. She says it’s hard to know who Hannah is if it were all stripped away. They both believe that the chemistry Colton and Hannah have doesn’t go too far past the first impression she made on him. Who wants to tell them the exact impression she’s making on him during this date?

The anticipation of waiting for the next date card to arrive is gonna give someone an anxiety attack, full blown and I’m kinda looking forward to it. We’re getting a good start with the tears that come when some realize that a one-on-one is not gonna happen for them in Vietnam. “Are you ready to fight for love.” Cassie, Heather, Tayshia, Caelynn, Katie, Hannah B., Sydney, and Demi. That leaves Kirpa the envy of all. The date starts off with some choreographed fight sequence, clearly intended to impress, he probably would’ve had more success if he would’ve walked out naked as the day he was born, but much manlier. However, it’s pretty easy to determine that there will be some fighting on this date, which has even me looking forward to this. After some instruction, it’s time for the girls to spar one another. This is being brought to us by Chris Harrison and the host of Bachelor Vietnam, Quo Chung. Up first is Sydney and Heather with lots of laughing and shrieking radiating from Heather. In other news, Colton now knows what Heather will sound like when physically exerted. Hannah B. and Cassie get to take their turn next and I have no idea who won, but Hannah did seem pretty confident in herself. Demi and Katie get their opportunity to take their frustration out on not being selected for one-on-one time, though the frustration should be against Colton, but like all good women when frustrated with a man, we take it out on one another. It’s pretty easy to see that while the other girls were playing around, this battle is turning into a real fight. And Sydney put it best when she said “Demi’s got a big bark but not a lotta bite after seeing that match”. After watching that fight, Colton ends the fun. This cocktail party should be a blast.

Tayshia is up first and immediately begins to express her fears, even though her one-on-one was just two episodes ago. She does like the direction their relationship is going, but she needs Colton to be curious about her as much as she is about him. He puts her at ease when he tells her that he does want to continue to explore their relationship. My advice to Tayshia. . .you should never have to ask a man that’s interested in you to be curious about you.

Talk amongst the ladies is this could be one of the most important date roses, because whoever he gives this one to, he obviously wants to continue moving forward in that particular relationship. The stress is getting to be a bit much for Katie, who when given the opportunity to have her discussion with Colton, she lets him know that she’s scared and that one of her biggest fears is Colton misreading her. She’s worried that Colton will think that she’s not trying. I’m not really sure what message she’s trying to send him, it almost seems like she heard what the ladies said about the date rose and knew that some sort of unsure vulnerability was her best opportunity at getting it. Now that Alabama Hannah has confessed to falling in love with him, she is going at this experiment hard. She is full of smiles and laughs and an energy that she hasn’t shown prior. Hannah’s exuberance is rubbing some the wrong way and by some I mean Sydney and Tayshia, who are having a little one-on-one time of their own, talking about how some of the girls lack substance and are just shiny objects. . .Hannah showing Colton her ninja skills is one of the object to which they are referring. I think Sydney is starting to get into her head a bit, reading into every detail as something it’s not. I don’t see this going down well when he finally breaks away and sits to talk with Sydney.

In her defense, Sydney goes right at Colton by asking him if there is a reason why she hasn’t been chosen for a one-on-one yet. He tells her that each relationship is different and each one moves at a different pace. She does want to know if he thinks he will be able to “there” with her and he responds with he wants to try. I think in the end, Sydney is not really feeling Colton’s words of reassurance.

It is clear that Demi worked on her speech for a good long while. After she is done describing how great of a girlfriend she would be, she asks Colton if he would like to call her mom with her, which is a very well played move towards getting her hands on that group date rose. While I do think this move was pulled out of her playbook, I also think that this is a conversation that should’ve happened without Colton and without cameras.

The more giggling that comes from the Hannah’s or Demi’s or Heather’s of the group, the more Sydney starts to battle with herself. Her feeling is that none of those girls are ready for marriage and she obviously is. . .but if that’s the kind of girl that Colton is finding himself attracted to, then where does that leave him and her. Instead of her depending on the conversation that she had with Colton earlier, she decides to go to him once again and continue to press him for guarantees. She gets real ballsy when she tells him that he’s making the easy choices and if that’s what he wants, then good for him, but since she needs more than what she feels that he’s willing to give, then she is gonna go ahead and remove herself from his potential bridal list. On her way out she does encourage him to seek out the great ones of the group and stop being distracted by shiny things. In the end, she may have opened up his eyes a bit in seeing how much more he can open up and offer to each of his relationships. Even though I’m not really seeing the connection, he seems to be a smitten kitten when it comes to Tayshia, because she is walking away with the date rose.

I think that some one-on-one dates are chosen because the Bachelor/ette has smoking hot chemistry with someone and they’re looking to pour some more gas on an already growing flame. I think others are chosen as a way of finding out if there is anything worth even starting and that is where I think Colton is at with Kirpa and why he has chosen her for this date. Prior to this date kicking off, Demi and Hannah B. are talking and it’s mentioned that his relationship with Kirpa has grown, but they wonder what will become of this date. I don’t see the growth. I know the viewing audience isn’t privy to every nuance that occurs, but I don’t even recall seeing a kiss, much less a lot of conversation. I’m thinking he’ll send her home on this date, but crazier things have happened on this show. . .

The greeting is the obligatory legs around the waist and as much as I poke fun at it, Kirpa jumping into Colton’s arms seemed forced and not as natural as it’s supposed to be at this point. The date starts with a whole lot of discussion about Sydney. He does go on to say that each and every time he spends time with Kirpa, he takes something from it. During his confessional he admits to enjoying his time with Kirpa and she is someone that he naturally and easily connects with. Maybe I’m not seeing this because of his connection with some of the other girls and the connection he does have with Kirpa isn’t coming through. They take the date underwater and do some diving and you can see some of the easiness making its way into the date the longer the day goes.

Dinner starts out with Colton asking about Kirpa’s previous engagement. They were together for eight years and he was someone who was saving himself for marriage, which she compares to Colton’s situation, but he quickly reminds her that he hasn’t been saving himself for marriage, but rather the right person. She explains that things ended because they got too comfortable with one another and the relationship was standing still instead of moving forward and though it was difficult, it was the right decision for the both of them. He wants to know if she can see herself saying yes to a proposal at the end and she lets him know that if their relationship continues to progress then she could certainly see herself saying yes. I will say that though I was skeptical about her longevity going into the date, their compatibility grew the longer they spent with one another. And this date in particular is a great example of how a date should be. . .a little awkward. . .a tiny bit uncomfortable. . .lots of laughter. . .lots of conversation. . .and in the end the offer of a date rose, which she happily accepts, which finally led to Kirpa getting her shot at Colton’s lips.

Demi is determined to make some sort of a big move where her relationship with Colton is concerned and since she has yet to be given the opportunity via a one-on-one date, she is taking matters into her own hands and creating her own one-on-one time with the hope that after she has made her big move, Colton will no longer be a virgin. She may wanna start with eliminating the nickname Coco. Let me intervene for a hot second. I get what’s happening. It’s naive to assume that Colton didn’t know Demi was on her way over, BUT. . .this motherfucker just got done with a date and for all assumptions, Demi has no idea what actually happened on that date. She doesn’t know if Kirpa gave Colton a handy in the bathroom of some seedy bar or if he gave her one. I know we know, but do we know? Demi has no idea where his fingers, tongue, or other important sexual limbs have been but she’s okay with getting some leftovers? Have some dignity and wait your turn. Anyway back to the train wreck. Demi is giving him a rundown of their relationship up to this point, then tells him that she is falling in love with him. He tells her that he appreciates her words and that she makes him feel special. He admits to thinking about her and them a lot, but in the end he doesn’t think that they can get to that place. He leads us all to believe that he would’ve sent her home at the next rose ceremony, I’m not sure I believe that, but she has been sent back to the United States. The only thing this moment was missing was some dramatic Young and the Restless theme music, because this was a scene straight out of the latest soap opera. She even worked at forcing some good tears, she wasn’t quite successful, but it could garner her a nomination of some sort somewhere.

We kicked off this episode with ten hopefuls and before we even made it to this episode’s Rose Ceremony, we are down to eight and with three date roses already claimed, that leaves five fighting for his last name. Hometowns are in two weeks, which means he still needs to cut half of who’s left, so maybe there was some strategy in the events that unfolded with this episode. With the unexpected departures of Sydney and Demi, the girls are reeling and worried that they could be next on Colton’s list. Chris arrives to tell the ladies that Colton already knows who the roses belong to and a cocktail party will not be necessary. You know the heart rates kicked in gear when they heard that news.

There was no time wasted, Colton jumped right to it. Tonight’s Rose Ceremony sucks because only one girl gets sent home. It seems more humiliating when your the lone one. . .

“It’s my greatest pleasure to accept this rose.” -Demi

“I would definitely eat that sushi roll.” -Colton

“I’m willing to do whatever it takes to fight for Colton, so hopefully her insurance works here in Vietnam.” -Colton

“I don’t know where his head’s at. I don’t know where his heart is.” -Katie

Before we get to the heavy stuff, let’s talk about the climate in the international destinations. I understand why the show doesn’t lug around hair and makeup for all of the contestants, but can we agree to at least either have someone or a couple of someones around to assist with the hair and face when the humidity starts to wreck some havoc.

Since Colton’s virginity is the talking point of the season, I think it’s only fair if we discuss it some. His date this week with Hannah and last week with Cassie prove that inexperience isn’t part of his game and at this point, his virginity is really a technicality. I don’t really want to take anything away from his purity, but female virginity and male virginity are not equal and I’m willing to bet the only place his dick hasn’t been, is inside of a vagina. . .which deserves the shock and awww and praise that we have bestowed upon him. . .but I do think we need to stop acting as if this man has yet to take advantage of other sexual acts to relieve and get the job done.

Demi is a conundrum to me. While she is definitely entertaining, she wasn’t my favorite and I don’t want to say that she’s too young to tie herself down, because her and Cassie are the same age, but in my opinion, Cassie carries herself a bit different. While I do think that a lot or at least some of what Demi gave us was an act, Colton sending her home before she was ready, gave us a glimpse at some damage done by a mom being in prison. Which if I was gonna flare my inner Dr. Phil, I would say that she needs to work through those demons before she expands her life through the ties of Holy Matrimony. I did find it questioningly interesting when she said that Colton ending things with her is the exact type of scenario that has had her avoiding relationships for so long. Ummm. . .she’s 23, I’m not sure how many relationships she has been able to avoid in her short adult life, but her saying that made it even more clear that she needs to discover a lot more about herself before she involves anyone else.

While I didn’t see Katie and Colton standing together in the end, I did feel bad for her, especially after she laid out her fears. I think what gave me a case of the head shakes was when she apologized to him. He had already walked her to the waiting automobile and the goodbye had begun when he told her that he felt there was so much more to get out of her that he just didn’t, which is when she apologized. Let me say this loud and clear. . .there was nothing to apologize for. First, it’s unfair for him to basically put that on her, the only interaction they had was on group dates and he had no problems getting it from the ones he wanted it from. He doesn’t owe any apology for her not being his one and she doesn’t owe any apology for being who she is. We’ll see you in paradise Katie.

I find it humorous that everyone BUT Colton can identify who is ready for a proposal and who isn’t. However, if one was really interested in him finding his happy ending, even if it doesn’t include them, then why not say to him “Look, this bitch you are hanging all over isn’t ready for you to pop the question, she’s just looking for opportunity.” Even if you come off as somewhat jealous, who gives a fuck, you laid it out for him, now it’s his job to determine if it’s true. However, how he has not yet determined that Heather is no where near ready to meet him any place wearing a white gown, baffles me. And I say this based solely on her lack of experience. Maybe it’s normal to be 22/23 and have never kissed a guy, but it’s not normal to casually date throughout high school and college and then have a semi long term exclusive boyfriend and still have never been kissed. And I think based on that alone, there is a lie somewhere and I think it hiding within the claim that she’s dated. I have no issue with anyone marrying their first relationship. . .I do however have a problem with Colton potentially being her first relationship and she’s “dating” him, while he’s “dating” others. She needs to spread some wings and fall flat on her face a couple of times while trying to fly as high as she can. I’m somewhat surprised that her family was okay with her taking this adventure.

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: I’ve had my hands on this hot little number for some time now and I’m feeling a bit twatish for just now getting around to reviewing it. Not that I really have a worthy excuse but, first it was The Bachelor and as much as Arie makes me cringe, I’m still devoted. . .and then the Olympics happened and for two straight weeks, I was all about the snow. In fact, I found myself getting angry at my parents (may they rest in piece) for never putting me in any winter sports, even though we live deep in the heart of Texas, but still, maybe I could’ve been a halfpipe superstar. Ahhh, dreams. Which leads me to the here and now. I wanted to do this book justice, so I gave it a good ole re-read and found that I loved it just as much the second time around. I kinda feel like Tara doesn’t really need a whole lot of warning. . .once she hooks you, you’re gone and the only answer you look for is “When is the next one coming out?”. Well BXTCHES, the answer to that age old question is now. And just in case you’re interested in any of Tara’s inspiration for At The Stroke of Midnight, check out her Pinterest board here.

At The Stroke of Midnight will be told entirely through Cindy’s POV.

Cindy is about to enter the mid-life crisis stage of adulthood way before she’s even made it to mid-life. She was living what she thought was a pretty perfect, albeit somewhat Stepford, existence. She had the great family and the big house and if there ever was a show that featured The Very Active Housewives of Fairytale Lane, she would’ve been the star. But all that came crashing down when, what she thought was a great husband, ran off with the babysitter, leaving Cindy and her daughter with nothing. Doing what she thinks is the right thing, she finds herself defending her asshole ex to the neighborhood gossips, until Ariel enters the picture and forces Cindy to start facing reality and to also remove the giant stick she has shoved up her ass.

All three of our princesses are facing their own kind of desperate situation. Cindy’s husband left her without any means to financially support her and her daughter. Ariel, who has a love for all things antique, finds herself having to pay her now gay ex, alimony and Belle just wants to be able to save the town’s library. Desperate times call for desperate measures and desperate measures leads to the ladies dressing up as their namesakes, but in a way that’ll have grown men throwing money at them to do so. Ahhh, dreams.

Of course, there’s more to how they get from point A to point B. Or in this case going from the president of the PTA to welcoming Cindy to the main stage. There’s a Halloween party with weird vegan cupcakes and a birthday party where they’re supposed to be hot princess strippers but they don’t know they’re supposed to be hot princess strippers and instead show up dressed as if they were actually walking in the Main Street Parade at Disney World. But all is good, because without these mishaps, Cindy would’ve never laid her pretty blue eyes on PJ Charming, the owner of Charming’s, the local strip club and with his help, although reluctant, Cindy begins to bust out of that Stepford shell she’s built up over the years. A dream is a wish your heart makes for sure. Let’s take a moment of silence to imagine how different our adult lives would be if Tara was the one feeding us our Disney stories. Ahh, dreams.

PJ won’t be able to take full credit for Cindy finding her inner (and outer) stripper and I mean that metaphorically as well as literally. A lot of that credit goes to her two side BXTCHES. And that is the beauty of this story. Now, I’m about to get a bit serious on you, just bear with me. Maybe it was never Tara’s intentions, but she was able to tap into a pretty sobering topic. We may not all have the asshole husband or snotty neighbors, but I think too many times we allow the identifiers “mom” and “wife” to dominate our lives and forget about the woman that was there long before we were given other titles and that’s what At the Stroke taps into, just in a way that allows us to sit back and laugh at it, instead of wallowing in it. Maybe it’s time to let those inner strippers out and the freak flags fly, our husbands would surely approve.

I’m starting to wonder how many voices Tara has in her head at any given moment, because the cast of characters that she conjures up amaze me each and every time. It actually makes me jealous that I don’t have someone like Ariel floating around in my subconscious, but envy is a seven deadly, so amazing it is. We do get our intros to the other naughty princesses and I can tell you with absolute certainty, that as much as you will love the princess featured in At The Stroke of Midnight, waiting for Belle and Ariel’s story is going to be like waiting for Christmas and if Cosmo were to ever come out with a ‘What Naughty Princess Are You’ quiz, Good Golly Miss Molly, I hope I get to be Ariel. Every character in this book added something to the telling of this story, even down to the evil as fuck in-laws and chances are you will love them all. . .sans the evil as fuck in-laws and you probably won’t feel any love lost for the ex either, but the rest will have you falling hard. I think I read somewhere that Anastasia (the daughter) was modeled after Tara’s kiddo and now that I have enjoyed this book twice, I’m not sure if I feel for her or admire her that much more, because having your own offspring be able to challenge you in the smartassness department may piss you off, but it does spark a certain amount of pride.

There are two separate relationships happening in this book. The obvious one between Cindy and PJ, which has it’s own part in bringing out a different side of Cindy. And I am all about PJ. The lap dances alone have me rethinking my own seduction skills, but that relationship plays second fiddle to the one between Cindy, Ariel, and Belle. You’re gonna love Cindy, but when we first meet her, she’s kind of a bitch. That is until Ariel and Belle almost force their way in. It’s three personalities that don’t exactly fit together, but there is something in each of them that the others need and I suspect as we move further into this series, it’s gonna be the girls that bring out the best in each other and the guys are just gonna be lucky enough to tag along for the ride.

It just requires sexual stimulation to generic pharmacy cialis work flawlessly. There is the levitra canada ticket price for two just for starters, then of course the snacks (which you always seem to need even after a nice dinner out). You would have listened about Kamagra ED medication, go through the article and know more about this miraculous medicine: What are Kamagra jellies? canada viagra prescription In general, the jellies are the most popular oral therapies that are fast acting. Be that as it may, the extraordinary side issues can free sample cialis negatively affect your well-being. Maybe you’re someone who has yet to discover Tara’s wildly funny and a little bit dirty imagination and if that’s the case, At The Stroke is a good place to start. However, if you are that person, then I highly suggest you jump on board this crazy train and start at the very beginning with the Chocolate Lovers Series. You will not be disappointed and you’ll probably be able to add a few more colorful phrases/insults to your vocab. So, it’s a win all the way around.

There are a handful of authors that I will one-click blindly and Tara Sivec is one of them. In my opinion, she writes the best kind of romantic comedy. It’s the kind that sounds crazy when you try to explain it to anyone else, so you just wind up with a “you just have to read it” explanation. It’s the kind that blocks out the snoring husband and forever wanting a snack kids. It’s the kind that has you justifying just one more chapter. But the best part. . .it’s the kind that has you laughing out loud and allows you the escape that all of us WOMEN deserve. Bxtches Be ReadingAt The Stroke of Midnight (The Naughty Princess Club Series, Book #1) by Tara Sivec | Review on www.bxtchesbeblogging.com

The Bachelor 2018 | Episode Five Re-Cap | 01.29.18

The Bachelor Re-Cap | www.bxtchesbeblogging.com

The Bachelor Re-Cap | www.bxtchesbeblogging.comLast Week On: It seems that week after week, the one descriptor I have for the episode is “hot mess”, well last week was not a whole lot different. . .the crazy was seeping from Krystal’s pores. . .the girls almost drank their own urine, all in the name of love. . .Bekah finally revealed her age. . .and we learned that nothing will piss off a bunch of horny women quicker than someone cutting off their liquor source and Arie did just that when he decided to cancel the cocktail party.

Tonight On: (1) group date and (2) one-on-one dates

The love fest has moved on to Fort Lauderdale, which really sucks for Caroline, who went home last week, because that is her hometown, but the show must go on. If it wasn’t cheesy enough with Arie cruising down the road with the top down, ABC decided to take it up a notch when they had the girls voyaging down the boardwalk on bicycles. I’m gonna go ahead and save the powers that be some time and say, ain’t nobody got time for that shit. Use the screen time for some good stuff, surely we haven’t seen the best that Krystal has to give. Once the girls have settled in, and by that I mean the obligatory jumping on the bed, freaking out over the view, sitting in a bathtub fully clothed together, you know, the norm. . .once that is out of the way, they sit and wait for their one and only to show up and when he does, it’s Chelsea who gets swept away.

One-On-One #1: Chelsea | Chelsea says that she is excited for Arie to get to know her as Chelsea and not just the mom that he knows her to be. Say what? Wasn’t she the very first one on the very first night to stick her tongue in his mouth? And wasn’t she the one who interrupted Annaliese’s time on a group date just so she could “steal a kiss”? Isn’t she also the one who encouraged Annaliese in that very same episode to go for it with Arie after Arie already told her no. Which of those scenarios scream “MOM!”? The only way anyone even knows that she is a mom is because the words have come out of her mouth, not because every time she’s with Arie, she whips out the tissue to capture his boogies. The date kicks off on a yacht and a toast to “getting to know each other better”

Meanwhile at the hotel: Lauren, Marikh, Seinne, and Ashley are discussing how surprised they are that Chelsea was the chosen one. Actually, Seinne was shocked, Lauren was just flat out disappointed that she’s not the one hanging with Arie. But this is also the time that Maquel returns, which made a BXTCH smile. My only question is whether or not she had access to research Arie while she was away?

Once again we find those who were left behind leering and this time their weapon of choice is a telescope. It’s Maquel, Lauren, and Marikh who decide to put their inner peeping tom skills to work by not only spying on Arie and Chelsea while they have their Titanic moment on the yacht, but also when they take out the jet skis and Chelsea decides to straddle Arie like they’re in a strip club and her electric bill is due. But that particular make out move works because the ladies quickly abandon their post and head back inside their hotel room.

A Car Museum is the location for the evening side of their date and once again we’re starting with a toast. I’d like to point out that both toasts of this date have been made by Chelsea. . .just saying, Arie is not equaling Alpha. He does say (in his confessional) he recognizes that he needs to treat Chelsea “delicately” because she is a single mom. WTF!? I’m not sure what that means or if he even knows what it means, but please point out where in the date or any time up to this point that her being a mom has affected the way he has treated her, because I’m quite certain that the last thing popping up while she has her body pressed against his and her tongue lodged in his mouth, is her single mom status. Conversation quickly turns to Chelsea’s past and her baby daddy. Let’s chat here for a bit. A quick review, baby daddy is Mike Wilson, he cheated on Chelsea with his now current wife, which was the catalyst for their breakup. We did learn tonight that the two ended things when the kiddo was six months old, which almost brought a tear to Arie’s eyes. Here’s where things get interesting. I don’t like to read spoilers, so that tends to dampen my research a bit, but rumor has it that Chelsea was dating Julian Edelman right before she was cast on the show. In case you are not aware, Julian Edelman is a wide receiver for the NE Patriots and if you’re gonna play a game of This or That between Julian and Arie, the answer will forever and always be This. I have not been able to find one piece of evidence that supports this claim, if you Google Julian Edelman and Chelsea Roy, nada, there is nothing on her Instagram that would give life to this claim either, but the rumor is out there, I’m just curious to where it started. It’s also being tossed around that the only reason Chelsea is on the show is to advance her modeling career. That rumor may be a bit more believable. It makes more since for her to leave her son behind in an effort to make a better life, more so than to just find love. If you remember way back in the very first episode, Chelsea said that she was looking for a man to show her son what it is like to be a father, which in BXTCH translation means that the dad is not an active part of her son’s life. . .but he is. In fact, the son is currently with his father while Chelsea is on the show and the anger between these two must run hella deep because the dad went back to court to stop his child support payments while she is on the show, so there is really a lot going on in her life, and not all of it positive. Back to the date. I got the feeling as soon as she started going into her past, that she scripted what she had planned to say. It almost seemed rehearsed. She covers the basics and I couldn’t tell if she was trying to fight back tears or force them. During her monologue, she implies that her ex (baby daddy) had money and since she was so young and he was older, he was able to mold her into what he wanted and when things ended she was left with nothing but her belongings that were put into trash bags. She is saying all of this to a man who is older, whose net worth is in the millions and who also just enjoyed a date with her on a yacht. . .sound familiar? She does recover quickly when she tells him that the date could’ve been in a park and it would’ve been equally as fantastic. Arie found the date just as amazing, which he tells her so as he hands over the date rose. Once again, we get a great solo performance and tonight featured Tenille Arts and as strange as it is for the couple to be the only one dancing in the room, it’s a lot less awkward than them dancing at a concert surrounded by hundreds of people. Oh and apparently this date has proven to Chelsea that love is possible. . .there is no way that she dated Julian Edelman.

Group Date: Maquel, Krystal, Bekah, Becca, Jenna, Sienne, Kendall, Ashley, Marikh, Jacqueline, Lauren “There’s not a moment to spare.” -Arie | He’s taking the girls bowling and after the embarrassing performance by Arie at the beginning of the date, I now know that someone over at ABC hates Arie and lobbied for him to be named the next Bachelor for the sole purpose of humiliating him. And trust a BXTCH, the goal has been accomplished. That is the only explanation for what went down between Arie, the bowling alley, and that very unfortunate bowling ball, which after tonight, can now tweet out #metoo. The great thing about this date is we get Krystal and she almost immediately goes into performance mode when she tells the cameras how some girls are desperate in fighting for his attention, but that’s just not who she is. This would be a good time to remind our resident whackadoodle that she is literally on a show whose title could be interchanged with the word Desperate, but that’s none of my business. The date will be a competition, with the losing team going back to the hotel and the winning team getting Arie. . .man, that’s a hard choice to have to make. It’s the Pin-Ups vs. the Spare Roses. . .I’m telling y’all, someone who works on this show, hates this show. I have no idea what it is that Jenna does prior to the competition taking off, but I’m quite certain that too much beer is involved and I’m also pretty sure that during her teen years, either Bring It On or Striptease was her favorite movie and she spent many an afternoon in front of a mirror channeling her inner cheer/strip BXTCH. Somewhere her mother just wondered where it is that she went wrong. Krystal takes a moment to offer up a prayer and for her dogs to be their angels. I’m not sure how the teams were split up, but it’s clear that the talent was not spread out. . .the Spare Roses (Jenna, Becca, Krystal, Jacquline, Maquel) take the win, which should mean that the Pin-Ups (Bekah, Marikh, Lauren, Seinne, Ashley) are headed back to the hotel to wallow in the wine glasses filled with their tears, but Arie is feeling a bit guilty and instead chooses for all the girls to head to the party. And because of his graciousness, some shit is about to fly.

We were forced to watch Arie make out with a bowling ball, but get deprived of the chaos that goes down on the bus ride back to the hotel. Who the fuck is in charge? Krystal is very unhappy with her future stalking victim, so much so that she used the time on the bus to throw Arie under it, telling the girls that he is a liar and she can’t trust him. Normal individuals who felt this way, would just pack up their shit and head home, key word: normal. But this is a good time to get a sneak peek at what real crazy is like. The girls do confront Krystal when she comes out in her bathrobe, ready to boil a bunny, and when Kendall asks her if she is out of the game or is she trying to send a message, she does say that her suitcase is ready to go. Kendall gives her a small piece of her mind and then it’s time for everyone to head out. One would have to wonder if her reaction would’ve been the same if it were Krystal’s team who lost and then got invited to still hang with Arie. . .and it took the baby of the group to point this out to everyone else. Arie soon realizes that Krystal is missing and once the girls feel him in on her temper tantrum, he decides to check in on her. Which of course is just giving her what she wants. . .alone time with him. Overall, I don’t think Arie should’ve went back upstairs, but I do think he handled it really well. He did tell her to stay in the room while he was going to go hang out with the girls and he would see her in a few days. Once things get settled, Kendall gets Arie first. Followed by Bekah. Both get their opportunity to make out with him and I can say with all of my gusto, that I am actually tired of seeing the tongues swap spit, we don’t need the close up, do we? We do find out that because of all the drama, Becca not only missed out on shaving her legs, but she had to skip the whole shower completely and still smells like a bowling ball. How her whole body smells like one, is a mystery I have no interest in solving, but the good news? Arie did lick a bowling ball earlier and he takes her back to his room, so the night may end in her favor. Just when we thought that Arie put Crazy to sleep for the night. . .she decides that she is not done.

It doesn’t take long for the girls to call Krystal out on her hypocrisy and once that is done, she decides to go put the crazy up for good, well until tomorrow. Lauren gets her time with Arie and actually has one of the better discussions, they play a bit of 21 questions, which was really more like 5 questions, but at least she is making an attempt at getting to know him better. And because of that, he gifts her with the rose.

One-On-One Date #2: Tia | This date is taking the happy couple to the Everglades National Park. My first thought was hell no, this is not the date for me, but watching them fly through the water, it actually looked pretty cool. They meet up with Gerald, who has built a cabin smack in the middle of the Everglades and loves to go frogging. They devour fried frog legs, fried catfish, and fried corn on the cob. The Arkansawyer is shining bright from Tia’s soul on this date. So far, this is a great one-on-one. Whoever the mastermind is behind this date, needs to plan more, because this is by far the most real date Arie has been on. There was no yacht, there was no celebrity stylist or private jet back to meet the ‘rents, there was no hot tubbing on the lake. . .this was just what was needed. . .normalcy.

The evening finds them at a nautical themed restaurant and it also finds Tia confessing to the camera that she is falling in love with Arie and she knows she needs to tell him. I knew our first confession of the season was coming, I just didn’t think it would be my girl, I wonder how much Raven shared with her and made her feel that it was important to be the first one to utter those three all important words? The conversation kicks off good, we learn that Tia has her doctorate in physical therapy, so one should start referring to her as Dr. Tia Booth, the ladies should probably take note. She also confesses that she can do her job anywhere, good little tidbit to throw into the convo. Things quickly switch to faith and religion. She has it, he doesn’t. He does ask her if she could see herself married to someone that is not of the faith and she responds with “Yeah. Like if I understand your perspective of it”. I’m not sure I can totally believe that, but we’ll table that topic for another time. The whole discussion felt very natural and not at all forced. . .until she confesses her love. I don’t know if it was weird because she was nervous or maybe because there were cameras all around, but it was a bit wincy. I guess we’ll have to wait and see if it’s real, but in the meantime, Arie fell for it and the rose is her’s. Where it gets interesting is when Arie confesses to the camera that he feels himself more around her than he does with any of the other women, so it looks like #teamtia is pulling out in front of the pack. It also looks like Arie just can’t get enough of her, because they stop on the porch to resume a very hot and heavy make out sesh.

I’m guessing that Arie has not made up his mind yet, considering cocktail time is about to commence. I’m also guessing that with the drama that has surrounded Krystal this week, the ladies are gonna need some liquid sustenance to get through the night. My point is proven when Krystal gives her obligatory speech about how challenging the week was for her, but in the end she is just here for Arie, which if that is the case, I’m not sure why she is sharing her inner most diary with everyone, but birds of a crazy feather. . .Kendall gets Arie first and finally another who starts off their time by playing a game of “let me get to know you without your tongue in my mouth”. Kendall is a quirky one, which comes across as very charming, the question she chooses to start with is whether or not Arie would consume human meat if it were the tradition of a hypothetical tribe he was visiting, okay maybe charming wasn’t the right word. In case you’re curious, no he would not. In the meantime, the girls are doing what us girls do best and that’s talk some shit. Of course this shit show is being brought to us thanks to Krystal and her wacky ways. This wouldn’t be the show it is if Krystal wasn’t able to hear every single word that is being spoken about her, but no worries, she knows how tight she is with her boo, but just in case, she is gonna go ahead and try to diffuse before anyone sabotages. She offers herself up for some one-on-one time with anyone who wants to hash it out privately. Kendall is her first bite and all her quirkiness goes straight out the window, she has put on her big girl britches for this convo. Kendall basically told Krystal that she needed step off her man, because there is no way that she could feel love for him while calling him names behind his back. Bekah had her turn to call her out as well and as many time as Krystal has commented on Bekah’s maturity, I think Bekah was the adult in that conversation. And as a reminder, all of this drama is because. . .Krystal called Arie a liar and untrustworthy. . .Krystal packed her bags to go home, but is still there. . .it’s not because he confessed feelings for her and someone else, it’s not because she caught him making out with another woman, it’s not even because he went on a date with someone else. . .it’s because he changed his mind. Let that sink in for just a bit. If she is that offended and that hurt over him just having a change of heart, can you imagine what the future would look like for him if he were to gift her with his last name?

We had to know that Arie was going to give her a chance to speak privately with him and as soon as he sits, the voice gets turned on. Arie tells her she knows him better than any other girl there and their relationship is further along than any other. . .that’s the way you should play this game, Arie, just continue to pull out the insanity, smart move. He does man up a bit when he tells her that the behavior she displayed put their relationship back a bit. Now is the time that we may need to have Jesus take the wheel, because as I sit here and watch as I type, I cannot believe the words that are coming out of her mouth. She now blames the whole breakdown on the fact that she grew up in a bowling alley, her mom worked there, and it was difficult seeing men come in and out of her mom’s life while making promises they could not keep. And that bowling alley date just brought up some awful memories from her childhood. Move over Annaliese, we have a winner. On a more positive note, Arie didn’t seem like he was falling for her story and he actually stepped up and laid it all out on the line for her. . .like a goddamn adult, one who used his words instead of his tongue.

Chelsea, Lauren, and Tia all have secured their place for one more week. Now let’s see some hearts break and some tears shed. And we can’t forget that whoever he says goodbye to tonight will have no hope for love in the future, so we also get to see some dreams die right before our very eyes. On a side note, we need to get real serious about getting Krystal that dictionary, I’m not sure she knows what the word ‘futuristic’ means.

Last week I threw out some suggestions that maybe ABC could use to make some changes and after tonight’s Rose Ceremony, I have another. I think that the ones coming into the Rose Ceremony with roses already should get to sit up front next to the Bachelor/ette, just to add some flair to the process. That way, the others are reminded who it is that’s safe, all the while they continue to wobble on their stilettos.

I was actually surprised by who got sent home. I’m not shocked that he kept Krystal, if he wasn’t keeping her for himself (or his dick), he was definitely doing it for production because she adds the drama needed for this season. I was shocked that he sent Maquel home. Why even have her come back if you’re not going to at least give her another week to find a spark? It’s as if he brought her all the way back just to humiliate her.

I may be going against any and all rules of the Ya-Ya, but is it too much for ABC to help some of the ladies out with their make-up? You don’t have to do it for them, just give some lessons. They are on television, it’s going to look different than when they are just looking into a mirror. Some of the girls got it, but some are needing just a lesson or two. But for real, someone needs to have a talk with Jenna’s eyebrows and tell them to calm their tits and while the conversation is happening, just mention that her face is showing up a bit lighter than the rest of her body when the cameras hit. She is very beautiful, just a couple of tweeks. On a more positive note, the weaves are looking fantastic so far.

The Bachelor airs on ABC Mondays. . .7pm CENTRAL/8pm EASTERN
