BXTCHES Gotta Warn: The Deal is the first book in the Off Campus series and it definitely does it job by kicking things off perfectly with Garrett and Hannah. This series will features four roommate hockey players. . .Garrett, Logan, Dean, and Tucker and of course the women that will sweep them off of their feet. My personal opinion is that you should certainly read these books in the order in which they were written.

The Deal will be told from the POV’s of both Garrett and Hannah.

Let’s begin with our wonderfully written female lead, Hannah. She is a music major at Briar University, in her junior year. And if it weren’t for her ability to ace her Ethics class, Hannah and Garrett may never have been, though I like to sometimes believe in fate and that BXTCH would’ve figured out how to get them together. Anyhow, Hannah happens to be one of the very few (emphasis on few) students who is doing exceptionally well in this Ethics class and Garrett is one of the very many (emphasis on many) who isn’t. Garrett happens to have a lot riding on this particular class, namely his hockey. When he catches a glimpse at Hannah’s most recent test grade, he realizes that she may be the answer he’s looking for and propositions her to be his tutor. Unfortunately, Hannah shuts that down quick. No worries for Garrett, he’s willing to do almost anything to get use of her brain.

Everyone has a price apparently and Hannah’s comes in the form of the wide receiver for the football team. Hannah has been crushing on Justin for a hot minute and once Garrett picks up on this at a party, he realizes that Justin could be his ticket to finally getting Hannah to tutor him.

As all tutoring relationships between the hockey superstore and the super smart girl goes. . .friendships develop and Hannah and Garrett are no different. And even though (as the reader) you know a romantic relationship is going to develop, the friendship that Hannah and Garrett develop prior was so much fun to watch unfold.
It connects your upper body http://appalachianmagazine.com/advertise/ cialis pfizer achat and back to your hips and legs. Both Hannah and Garrett have some pretty heavy demons in their lives that are somewhat holding them down and/or back and as their friendship begins to develop, they become what the other needs to fight through their pain. They also are able to become a shoulder for the other when college life becomes typical college life and you need a good sounding board to vent to. This is all before penises and vaginas even meet.

We are getting introduced to lots of people in this book and most of those introductions are gonna set you up for subsequent books and relationships. Since this is a hockey romance, it makes since that one of the secondary storylines in The Deal is in fact, hockey. And Hannah’s love of music doesn’t get left behind, she has her own storyline where music is the focus. While it’s expected to fall in love with the relationship that develops between Hanna and Garrett, it’s also the relationship between Garrett and his roommates/teammates and the relationship that Hannah is also able to develop with Garrett’s friends that is going to draw you in and keep you captivated. The supporting cast is really gonna round out this story and give it the layers it needs to complete The Deal and lead you right into The Mistake

I’ve read this entire series several times, with my last go round being in 2021 (which is when I happen to be updating this) and each time I go in I’m quickly reminded how wonderfully written this book really is. This is a college romance with every necessary box checked. Hannah is strong and fierce. She’s vulnerable when the situation calls for it, while maintaining her loyalty and her humor. She is the perfect person to fall in love with. Garrett is the perfect compliment to Hannah. Forget being the peanut butter to someone’s jelly. . .strive to be the Hannah to someone’s Garrett.

Until Lilly (Until Series, Book #3)

So, we’ve gotten through two of the Mayson boys and now it’s Cash’s turn. I will go ahead and reveal that I have read Nico’s story and so I can give a clear, concise, assessment of how I feel about all of them and it’s official, Cash and Lilly are my absolute favorite.

Review time: If you remember during Trevor’s story, he and Cash make a run to Alabama, where Cash meets a girl in a coffee shop. At the time, it was just “another girl” for Cash, but after visiting her often, he realizes that she is his BOOM. Now, you should also remember during Trevor’s story, the girl at the bonfire, who was saying how she was going to get one of the Mayson boys to get her pregnant and how she succeeded with Cash. So, we’re somewhat caught up now. Except, I need to mention that the story will be told through both Cash and Lilly’s POV.

We will start off with Lilly and the day that she runs to the coffee shop and into Cash. We’re going to speed through the first several months of their relationship, where she looses her virginity to Cash and the one and only time she has sex, she gets pregnant. Around that same time, Cash finds out that Jules is pregnant and doing the right thing, he breaks it off with Lilly (he has no idea that she is pregnant) and decides to marry Jules. Lilly tries to inform Cash of her impending motherhood, but receives a text basically telling her to “get rid of it”. Of course, it wasn’t Cash that sent that text and trust me when I say, I’m not giving anything away, this is all revealed in the very beginning of the book.

So, fast forward about four years and Lilly is in Tennessee with her daughter, Ashlyn. She just so happens to be at the very same place that Cash has taken his son, Jax. Once Cash realizes the woman he is somewhat lusting after is Lilly and he then sees the face of the girl with her, he realizes that he has a daughter.

At this point, Lilly is blown away that she has not only ran into Cash, but has done so with her daughter and his son. Regardless of the anger that she has towards Cash, she will not keep him out of Ashlyn’s life. Cash is determined to not only win Ashlyn over but Lilly as well. Unlike with Liz and November, Cash’s family isn’t all open arms when is comes to Lilly. We can thank Jules for this turn of events. Because of the big bitch she turned out to be, Cash’s family is a bit skeptical when it comes to any female that Cash brings home.

This is really where the story picks up and takes off. I think that the reason that I enjoyed this book more than the other three is because it is much more scandalous. Now all four books have drama (yes, even Nico’s story), but this book has a ton. There’s the obvious friction with Jules, who is now Cash’s ex-wife and even though it’s easy to wonder that if Lilly is Cash’s BOOM, then why  not leave Jules instead of Lilly? Well, Cash didn’t know that Lilly was pregnant and it didn’t help matters that Jules continued to threaten Cash with abortion if he didn’t bend at her will. Cash is also going to have to earn back the trust that he lost with Lilly and Lilly has to somewhat gain the trust of Cash’s family. This book will constantly demand that you continue to turn the page, because the fun in this book is getting Cash and Lilly to their HEA.
There might generic levitra be several reasons behind it is to do a proper diagnosis. The major execution of kamagra ED pills have assisted millions of men sildenafil online uk to manage their condition effectively and to normalize their sexual health. Long-time sitting may free viagra in australia intensify hemorrhoids and make perineum congestive, followed by dysuria. Penegra is purchase cheap levitra an over the counter danger to everyone and needs to be taken in the prescribed dosage only.
Once again, another book supported by great characters. Very well written and well rounded. I think one of the reasons this book will become your favorite in this series, well at least for me anyways, is because you actually get to experience the interaction between parent and child. Previously, the book usually ends as the babies are being born. This one kicks off with the kiddos already three years old, so it just adds another dimension to Cash’s hotness and another reason to adore Lilly. Lilly’s parents are super funny and wonderfully written. I love that the author chose to make Lilly’s parents understanding to Lilly’s situation and they made Cash work for their trust.

Since this is my favorite book of the series, it should go without saying that the sex is right where it needs to be. I actually think overall, this author does a really good job of writing the sex of this series not just hot, but to the point. I don’t like to have to wonder “how?” when the hotness is getting under way. My only issue (with the whole series) is the constant threat of “the spanking”. When the female does something that the alpha may not agree with, then it’s always about spanking the ass or the threat of. Being sexual with it is one thing (and hot), but using it as if she were a child is beginning to get a little old. However, it doesn’t deter from the great bedroom games that do occur.

Next is Nico’s story and he is the last brother. Again, I do think that this is one of my favorite “brother” series and I am quite sad to see the series end. If you haven’t started the journey that is the Mayson brothers, you should go ahead and dive in, you will not be disappointed.

Until Trevor (Until Series, Book #2)

Those Mayson boys are back, and this time it’s Trevor’s turn to feel the BOOM. Unlike Until November, this book will be told through the POV’s of Liz and Trevor (YAY!)

We got to meet Liz in the first book, but in case your memory is starting to fail you, let me offer a reminder. Liz is the owner of the boutique that November went shopping in and immediately felt a connection to Liz. The first story also cast a small glimpse of the attraction between Liz and Trevor and this book is going to pick up from there.

Apparently on the night that July (Asher and November’s daughter) was born, things got pretty heated between Liz and Trevor and in the passion of the moment, Trevor misunderstands Liz and believes that she is a virgin. In his head that is his cue to pull away and pull away he does. Of course, this hurts Liz because he doesn’t even give her the opportunity to explain and up until then they had become really good friends. So, his reaction to her being a virgin (which she wasn’t) didn’t just sting, it pains her.

Trevor and Liz go awhile without speaking to one another. But that all changes when Liz’s brother causes some problems that force her to take a job waitressing in the strip club owned by November’s dad. This just so happens to be the catalyst that gets Trevor off of his ass and ready to claim his BOOM. He is going to have his work cut out for him, however with him being a Mayson, it won’t be too terribly difficult, because moving slow is not in their vocabulary.

Liz is going to have her own issues that she is going to have to work through in this book. The main one being the death of her dad, which happened when she was much younger, but still affects her and her desires for her future. She also has to deal with all the girls that have been picking on her for a long time, but especially once her and Trevor get together, proving the theory that some females are just bitches and not the good kind.

I’m torn in which book I prefer, November or Trevor. I liked Liz, I thought that she was very “real”. She was someone who had a horrific experience in high school, she never really fit in, but decided to be someone who was going to live her dream by opening her own shop and really coming into her own. While I think that she was written as a strong female that did a good job going head to head with the alpha likes of Trevor, I do think that she would sometimes succumb a little too easy to Trevor’s charms, however, her ability to knock Trevor off balance from time to time, makes up for it. But overall, I think she was a well developed character and I’m glad that the author gave us a bit of a preview in the first book, because it allows us to appreciate the growth of Liz. In November’s story when she first meets Liz, Liz is really reserved and backs down when she is bullied by all of the bitches and here she begins to stand her ground.

It http://icks.org/n/data/ijks/1482467975_ij_file.pdf sildenafil price in india should be borne in mind that one single reading is not a good indicator. The therapeutic use of Forgiveness in sex therapy is complicated by the unsure emotions felt toward significant others, and the love”hate levitra cost relationships with them. So check out the certification to find out where this canada pharmacy viagra institute is certified. Still you like better the new tag cheapest cialis icks.org types of prescriptions. I did love Asher, but I really loved how we got Trevor’s POV in this book. It was written very well, all alpha and all male. He did have his jerky moments, I mean, he freaked out and shut her down when he thought she was a virgin for crying out loud. But he more than made up for being jerky with his swoon worthy moments, which were often. I think that the soft moments are just as sexy as the alpha male moments. And I gotta say, one thing that I really appreciate so far in this series is the brothers not falling for the tempting ways of the loose ladies. Once they get their BOOM, that’s it, there’s no temptation too strong, love that about them.

I think that the sex here is hot, but I thought that it was hotter with Asher and November. Although, there was some up against the wall happening here, which I certainly appreciate. But regardless of which couple I preferred, it was still toe-curling goodness.

The supporting characters are still strong here and we get a few more added to the mix. Of course the main focus here is the brothers, so we get more of them than anyone, but are we really complaining about that? Yeah, I didn’t think so. This author does a great job setting you up and almost requiring you to read the next book. She sets us up great here with Cash. I won’t give anything away, but the groundwork that she lays down for Cash’s story will definitely keep you looking forward to going from the last page here to the first page of Cash.

This series started off great and is continuing to be addictive. Cash is next, then Nico, so my gut is that this series is only going to get better and better, because really, you can’t go wrong with muscles and lots of tattoos. Yum!

Until November (Until Series, Book #1)

There are many series out there that feature hot, alpha male brothers. But in my opinion, this one is one of the best. Until November is the first book in the Until Series and this author really sets the bar high right out of the gate. This book will focus on November and Asher and will be told mainly through November’s POV with a couple of Asher chapters sprinkled in.

November is a twenty-five year old single woman from New York, who after a vicious attack in an alley, finds herself moving to Tennessee to live with her dad. November grew up with her mother and was told repeatedly (by this mother) that her dad never wanted her. So for almost her entire life she grew up with a mother who not only didn’t want her, but went out of her way to show her how much. It wasn’t until she was eighteen that she finds out the truth about her dad. Which was, that he always wanted to be an active participant in her life and it was then that their relationship began. So, once she was attacked, and would’ve came close to losing her life if it weren’t for a dog saving her, that she realized that New York is not home for her anymore and packs up everything, including the dog, and moves to Tennessee.

Once with her dad, November is introduced to a family that she has always longed to have. She has agreed to help out her dad at the club he owns, by doing their books. It is here where she meets Asher for the first time and the first time they meet is pretty comical. Asher is the eldest son of the Mayson clan. He and his brothers are known around town as the “not settling down” type, of course that doesn’t mean that the ladies aren’t going to try. Their mom and dad believe that they are affected by the “Mayson curse”, which did affect their dad and grandfather, which basically means that once they find the one, they will know and that’s it. And almost from the get go, Asher realizes the November is the one and the curse may not be just a legend after all.

On their very first date November gets a first hand account of the reputation earned by the Mayson brothers. No sooner than she arrives at the bar to meet Asher, she becomes a witness to the countless women throwing themselves at Asher. This is a tricky thing for her. She isn’t someone who necessarily has low self-esteem, but growing up with a mom who was abusive and one that you know has no love for you whatsoever, will damage anyone. So seeing these beautiful women making passes at Asher, who happens to be the most beautiful man she has ever seen, she figures there is no way in hell that she can compete with that. Little does she realize, Asher only has is eyes set on November.

It doesn’t take long to speed things up, lightning quick. Once arriving home after her first date with Asher, she realizes immediately that something is wrong. After Asher investigates, she finds out that someone has broken into her house and because of the risk, she has to stay with Asher and that’s when the “lightning quick” comes in.

That’s kind of where this story really picks up. There’s a lot of meat to this book. There’s the focus of the book with Asher and November. Then there’s November really finding her home in Tennessee with her family and Asher’s as well. Of course, we can’t forget about her attack in New York, because that drama is long from being over. The different storylines in this book will keep you turning the page and make it very difficult to put this book down.
It improves muscle mass, energy, libido, sperm count and motility and helps to gain cialis no prescription harder erection for pleasurable sexual activities. Will you continue smoking, if it badly harms your sexual health and well being. acquisition de viagra Also, the buy cialis depression therapy in Mumbai can teach you how to manage your anger in the privacy of your home. For a man order generic viagra appalachianmagazine.com who wants to have his own child.
Asher is very easy to fall for. He has the qualities of a great alpha male. One of the qualities that I appreciated the most was his loyalty. He never allows himself to be swept up in the attention he got from other women and November really kept him on his toes. November was really well written too. She was feisty, emotional, funny and really all around epitomizes a great female lead. The other supporting characters in this book really added more depth to an already great story. Obviously, with Asher kicking off this series, the other books are going to feature his brothers, so we will meet them, and they will leave your mouth watering for more. Then there’s Asher’s mom and dad, who are written so well that the unity and love that this family has will just pour off of the page. Add everybody else and you have a book that is very difficult to stop reading  and will leave you yearning for the next one.

You can’t write a great alpha male and have him not ooze sex. Asher’s bedroom abilities are almost worthy of taking notes. Okay, you probably should take notes. As the reader, what I appreciated was just the straight hot sex. There were no acrobatics where you were really trying to figure out the logistics and wonder “how in the hell do they do that?”. It was hot, toe curling, please somebody throw me up against the wall and have your way with me sex. It did not disappoint.

There are going to be some twists, turns, and surprises in this book. Some you may figure out, but so worth the read. I have read this book several times now, and it’s still difficult to put down. My only wish was that the epilogue be written differently. The author may not have anticipated continuing the series, which could be why she wrote the epilogue so far in the future, I just wish she would’ve added to the last book and wrote more of a series epilogue. But, now I’m just nitpicking. It’s a great book, a wonderful series, and one I hope you will enjoy.

Sincerely, Carter

Everything that I have read from this author to date, has been bow down worthy, but for some reason, I was somewhat reluctant with this book (though, I have no idea why). I mean the cover is pretty good, right? So, she announced that it went LIVE, so I decided to read the sample, and here is what I learned: never EVER doubt the storytelling ability of an author with the name of, Whitney G.

This book is going to tell the story of Arizona (Ari) and Carter and will be told through both POV’s. The book is going to kick off where Ari and Carter’s relationship does, the fourth grade. Of course, then they were mortal enemies, but all it takes is one letter, and a BFF relationship is born.

There’s not too much backstory to give on Carter and Ari. Carter’s past is the token “fucked up past” in this book, but unlike most books, his doesn’t really affect his here and now. His father left him and his mother when he was younger and when he was in high school, his father passed. In his will, his father left him, among other things, a condo on the beach, which is where he lives with his male best friend, Josh. Ari has just finished college with a degree in business but her heart is not with her degree choice. Her passion belongs to the culinary field, so in order to feed this passion, she sneaks into culinary classes and “steals” the lectures. Now that she knows what she is destined to do, she just needs to figure out which culinary school is going to give her what she needs.

The friendship between Ari and Carter is strictly platonic and the book will flashback to different points of their friendship throughout the years, which does a really great job of establishing their chemistry. From the get go, both make it clear that there is not one bit of sexual attraction between them. Of course, the ones that they date (especially Carter’s girlfriends) don’t believe it. They are able to talk to one another about who the other is dating, about who the other is having sex with, really anything you’d expect to be able to talk to your BFF about. With Carter going to law school and Ari most likely going away to culinary school, this is their last summer to really be carefree. Carter just broke up with his latest girlfriend and Ari’s latest guy broke it off with her because of her reluctance to have sex. So, they both decide on a mission for the summer. For Carter, it’s to just have some sexual fun and not tie himself down. For Ari, it’s to stop putting guys into a spreadsheet, analyzing their compatibility and to find someone (with Carter’s help) to get down with.

During the summer, the platonic status becomes a bit murky and things change and things happen that forever alter the status of their BFF relationship. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that Carter and Ari are going to have sex (A LOT), but the real meat of this story is going to come when decisions are forced to be made.

This was a very well supported book. The characters were all beautifully written. As is supposed to happen, you will fall in love with Carter and Ari, which the author makes super easy to do with the way that she wrote both perspectives. She has a fabulous ability to capture the male experience as if she were male herself. She not only nailed it with Carter, but you will love Josh as well.

Right now many people make an online search in the fastest way to research the sites which are out there, and to compare them tadalafil buy in order to discover of known drawbacks, interactions with various drugs, and interactions with meals. In this contemporary world Kamagra online is view that cheap tadalafil concerned with the availability of various forms. Kamagra, with the help of its functional ingredient sildenafil citrate, generic cialis australia keeps that group function in order so that the male organ can become erect with strong, fuller, thicker and firm erection. However before we can go any further, it is highly recommended Learn More buy generic cialis that the customers check the ingredient of the drug wore off. Sex, sex, and sex. Get your libido ready, the between the sheets or against the door action, whichever you prefer, is so hot, you’re gonna want to pull up a seat. Carter gives us a brief glimpse into his aggressive (in a good way) dirty talking side, just enough to leave you a little salivating and a whole lot of wanting more.

I love the way this author tells a story, I love the humor that she infuses onto the pages, I love (LOVE) the characters that her imagination conjures up, I love how she leaves you completely satisfied, but wanting more, all in all, I love this author.

I have no other words of wisdom to offer, so all I can say is to just read this book, it will quickly become a favorite.

Rock Chick RedemptionRock Chick Redemption (Book #3 Rock Chick Series) by Kristen Ashley | Review on www.bxtchesbeblogging.comRock Chick Redemption (Book #3 Rock Chick Series) by Kristen Ashley | Review on www.bxtchesbeblogging.comReview Tag

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: Just a friendly BXTCH reminder that the Rock Chick series is a long one and while you may be very tempted to read these fantastic books out of order, please do not succumb to the temptation. Each book lays out a foundation and that foundation just continues to build and build until you are in a Rock Chick Nirvana. They flow from one to the next and in order for you to really get the whole Rock Chick experience, you MUST read in the order in which they were written. They are numbered for a reason, don’t fuck up the flow.

Rock Chick Redemption will be told through the POV of Roxie.

First came Lee, then we were given Eddie, now we get to sink our teeth right into Hank. And in case a quick reminder is needed, Hank is the eldest sibling of the Nightingale gang and gives Lee a run for his money in the badass department, he just does his on the right side of the law. . .with a badge.

Roxie may surprise you a bit. She comes to Denver from Chicago. She is in the middle of her “shaking her ex-boyfriend loose plan” albeit not a very good plan and figures Denver is a good place to escape to, since that is where her Uncle Tex lives (yes, that Tex) and she has yet to meet him, then why not. Even though Roxie and Tex have never laid eyes on one another, they have been writing each other since she was a young child and the letters of late have involved the gang at Fortnum’s. It only takes one step inside Indy’s sanctuary for Roxie to catch the eyes of one sexy Hank Nightingale and since we are already two books in, we should have a really good idea of where this is headed.

We know the formula, the featured Rock Chick is gonna come with some trouble and in Roxie’s case her trouble’s name is Billy Flynn. He was Roxie’s boyfriend for many years and has a hard time understanding that they are in fact over. Even though Roxie knew that Billy was bad for her and knew this many years ago, it only recently hit home after he started getting a tad bit rough. What she doesn’t know (although she suspected) is that Billy is tied up with some very unsavory individuals and it should be no surprise that she is going to get tied right up with it.

In a way that only these badasses can, once Hank set his eyes on Roxie, he moves quickly. There’s a date. . .the best first date ever. . .which leads to her being wrapped up in Hank and his bed. Then in true Rock Chick fashion, a kidnapping ensues, a rescue occurs, and before she can even blink, she finds herself living with Hank and his dog and with the protection of Hank, Eddie and all of Lee’s gang.

The meat of Rock Chick Redemption is Roxie’s troubles. The kidnapping occurs pretty early on in the book (so it’s not a spoiler). She’s rescued by Vance and while her heart is beginning to feel Hank, she is worried about her past coloring Hank all of the wrong colors. So let the break up attempts begin and the Rock Chick hijinks take over.

The layout of the story is Roxie trying to run from a past that went from scary to dangerous. It’s Roxie trying to get as much of Hank in as she can because she feels that Hank is good and she’s not and an end is inevitable. It’s Hank making sure that she understands that she is his and he will protect it at all costs. It’s the Rock Chicks inviting another into the troop. There’s the obvious Roxie trying to continuously break up with Hank and Hank making sure that Roxie understands that She’s The One. KA is gonna continue to have you laughing your ass off, but there are gonna be moments thrown in that will sober you up pretty quickly.

Rock Chick Redemption picks up almost right where Rescue leaves off. Not that there were any loose ends to tie up with Eddie and Jet, but we do get Lottie’s debut at Smithie’s and while the great characters that have been developing since Indy and Lee are back in full force, Roxie brings some with her as well. Trish and Herb are Roxie’s parents and since Trish is Tex’s sister, that should give you some insight to how those personalities are. Annette (Roxie’s BFF) and Jason come along for the ride as well. We also get introduced to Luke Stark. He was Lee’s guy who was shot during Indy’s story and will be the featured badass in book #5. So, while Hank and Roxie do a fantastic job of capturing your attention, this is a ensemble series and it’s the supporting cast that really brings it home.

God bless Kristen Ashley and her ability to write sex scenes. She has an ability to put your imagination to work like no other. The bedroom is where these guys talk best and Hank has that talk down to perfection.

While the formula may be the same throughout this series, each story is different. Not only is the series a long one, each book is pretty lengthy as well, but it is so worth each and ever turn of the page. The Rock Chick series is a Rom-Com that is enjoyed between two covers instead of with a remote control. It puts your imagination to work and gives you an escape. KA knows how to give you the best kind of feels, there is laughter, there is suspense, there are tears, you may get frustrated, but through is all, you will go on the same journey as our Rock Chick, you will fall in love right along side her. And that is the best kind of read.

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: Please for the love of all things ALPHA male, do not attempt to even start this book, without first finishing and raving about Rock Chick (book #1). This series is going to give you all of the feels, but in order to feel it from head to motherfuckin’ toe, you have to start with #1 and go from there. Each book is going to bring us a different couple to fall in love with while forcing you to question if you love the current book more than the previous one. . .it’s going to be lots of torture, but in the best orgasmic way. Just trust a BXTCH and heed the warning that I have just given.

Rock Chick Rescue will be told from the POV of Jet.

This book will take us on the journey that is Jet and Eddie. Now, we met Eddie during Indy’s debacle, but I’ll refresh your memory on him in a bit, let’s first start with Jet. If you remember, Jet was briefly mentioned at the end of Indy and Lee’s story. She was a new employee to Fortnum’s who arrived at the end of Indy’s drama. Now Jet has a lot of “goings on” in her life at the moment. Her mother has recently suffered from a stroke and with no dad around and a sister who lives out of state, the caretaker role falls squarely on Jet’s shoulders and in order for her to financially get it together, she is forced to take a waitressing job at Smithie’s (the local strip club), while working days at Fortnum’s and while trying to stay “Just Jet” and fly as far under the radar as she possibly can.

Time to shift our focus and our loins to Eddie. Eddie Chavez is Lee’s best/childhood friend and even that tight tie didn’t stop him from forcing Lee’s hand when it came to claiming Indy. If you remember, it was actually that gauntlet throw that spurred Lee into action. All it takes is a fumbling Jet and some coffee cups and Eddie has forgotten all things Indy. It hits a snafu when Jet misleads Eddie in believing that she is racist and Eddie actually slows his roll. Of course, with all things ALPHA in this series, that only gives her a small reprieve. When Jet’s dad shows up with a serious gambling debt and Jet unwillingly gets involved by hitting the radar of some pretty sketchy loan sharks, all of which starts with a knife to her throat outside of Smithies, that kicks up the ALPHA in Eddie and all bets are then off. And don’t worry. . .the whole racist thing really was a misunderstanding. It had more to with Eddie being hot, anywho, you’ll understand when you read it.

The cast of supporting characters in this series is really nothing short of amazing. We met a good core of the supporting cast in book #1, and with each book, KA will continue to add to that core. We’ll continue to not only meet more eventual Rock Chicks (and their individual core group), but we will also be introduced to more of the Hot Bunch Brigade, the Hot Guy Gang, Lee’s Guys. . .it doesn’t really matter what we call them, we know who they are. But let’s get to Jet’s peeps. Her mom Nancy is a pretty significant part of her life and while her dad, Ray, is the one that has created the shit storm that came raining down on her, it’s hard for Jet to just recognize him for the asshole that everyone else sees. . .he is still her dad. And KA does a fabulous job of putting the reader into that space and really empathize with what Jet is going through. Smithie, of Smithie’s, gets his introduction as well. Daisy is the wife of Marcus (owner of the stolen diamonds in book #1), she is a former stripper at Smithies, giving her a connection to Jet. She could also pass as a look alike for Dolly Parton, but doesn’t fit into the high society of Denver and she finds her spot with the Rock Chicks and they welcome her with open arms. Eddie’s family will make a very loud introduction, while I’m sure reminding some readers of there very own meddling loved ones. There are others, but I’ll let that discovery fall to you to make, and of course all of your favorite’s from the first book return, including one of my favs, Tex. Members of the Hot Bunch will continue to make appearances and we will also continue to be introduced to new ones, which is good for all involved because (a) their hot and (b) most will eventually get their own books, so it’s nice to have been introduced, albeit short, to them.

More and more foods over Order Page buy generic levitra the years were manufactured containing more unsaturated fat and less saturated fat was consumed. Both men and cheap viagra professional women, when they cannot complete the sexual activity successfully, feel bad about it. Many times we rush to the viagra sale http://robertrobb.com/2018/12/ hospital with a heart attack. Have you ever heard of an ancient text known as “The Doctrine of Signatures”? It is mostly a cialis prices spiritually based philosophy that simply implies that God provided us with natural cures for impotence that have been applied for years to treat impotence among many men. As much as Jet tries to resist anything Eddie related, she obviously relents and that succumbs to some serious sexy shit happening in the bedroom. Eddie brings it and Eddie brings it real good. I can’t even imagine the details that are happening inside of KA’s head, but for the love of all things Jackrabbit, it has got to be good. The one thing (really one of many things) you can be sure of is any sexiness in a KA novel will never leave you wanting for more. So embrace yo’self!

You can’t share too much with what is happening within these pages, without spoiling the story. There is so much coming at you from so many different directions, that it truly is best for the plot to just unfold naturally. Now, if you’re one of those BXTCHES who reads a series and gets frustrated because you believe that the storylines are all too similar, well settle down, I’m gonna try to put your mind at ease. There are a total of 8 books in this series (this does not include the recent addition of a Rock Chick novella that gives us Daisy and Marcus’ story) and yes, most will involve a member of Lee’s team stepping in to rescue an eventual Rock Chick. Even I can say, “how many times can that formula work?” Well, I can say with certainty, it can work 8 times. With each book, I look forward to reading how the story unfolds between the Hot Bunch member and the Rock Chick, but what I really look forward to is the introduction to new characters and the scenarios that unfold with the characters that I’ve grown to love with the addition of each story. And that, my fellow BXTCHES is something that I can share with you without the fear of spoiling.

This book is just as active with the drama as book #1. Get ready for: kidnapping, gunfire at the strip club, Rock Chick mayhem at the seedy bar that will involve the use of stun guns, a crazy fight at Einsteins Bagels, lots of sparkle, big hair and so much more.

I still prefer Indy’s book to this one, but that’s not saying this book isn’t wonderful. It is fantastic. The story is told very well and even though there were parts of Jet that frustrated me, I still loved her. On a side note, she is also great cook and some of the wonderful recipes mentioned in this book can be found on KA’s website. Caramel Layer Squares, you can find here, and Chocolate Sheet Cake, can be found here,  and if you’re looking for more delicious recipes, just head on over to KA’s website and it’ll all be at your fingertips.

And. . .what would a Rock Chick be without great fucking music and KA guides you right to it on her website. If you really wanting some Jet and Eddie inspiration. . .go here.

Remember, I was a late bloomer to the Rock Chicks and if you are hovering anywhere over the “buy now” button on this series, just click it. This book offers everything you need in terms of an escape. It’s adventurous, it has mystery, it’s laugh out loud funny, not to mention the mattress on fire sex scenes, and the more you grow into the series, the more you become part of it. Reading TagBook Review.4Favorite Quotes TagRock Chick Rescue (Rock Chick Series, Book #2) by Kristen Ashley | Review on www.bxtchesbeblogging.com

A Father’s Fight: Blake & Layla #2 (The Fighting Series, Book #5)

BXTCHES GOTTA WARN: This phenomenal series should most definitely be read in order. But if you are a rebel and decide to go against the rules, you will not enjoy/understand this book UNLESS you have at the very least first read, Fighting to Forgive (Book #2). That book begins the story of Blake and Layla, this book is a continuation. If you chose to “break the rules”, I salute you, but you will be doing yourself a disservice if you do not read book #2 before book #5. Rant is now over.

This book will be told through the POV’s of both Blake and Layla.

Quick recap. In the end of book #2, Layla had just found out that she and Blake were expecting a child together AND Blake had made the very heartwarming decision to adopt Axelle. This book will pick up towards the end of Layla’s pregnancy.

If you remember from Blake and Layla’s first book, Stew dropped the bombshell on Layla that she was gang raped at that party she attended 16 years earlier and he was the one that the pregnancy was pinned on, even though Axelle wasn’t biologically his. This book will kick off at that party 16 years earlier, but no worries, it will not include the rape.

As chapter one begins, we learn of an email that Blake has received. We won’t find out until later the contents, but we know that he is stressed about it and really doesn’t want to worry Layla with it. This is going to coincide with some calls from an unknown number coming into Layla’s phone. Turns out the calls are from Axelle’s biological father. I won’t spoil the story with who the mystery man is, but it will certainly put Layla on edge and have her questioning everything about that night that changed her life forever.

Blake’s brother is also going to make an appearance, and on a side note, I really hope that there is a Braeden book coming soon, but back to this book. He comes with a plea to Blake to go home for a visit. He won’t tell him what’s happening, but there’s enough history from the last book, that as the reader you figure out that it’s pretty significant.

This book is intense, but there are “Blake” moments in this book. The visit to the OB/GYN will certainly have you laughing out loud and his relationship with his brother will bring a smile to your face.

However, sometimes, it is hard to hit the market? One could use the Johnny Nash tune called “I Can See Clearly Now” for any eyeglass maker or “One Headlight,” by the Wallflowers in an Auto Zone commercial. viagra on line ordering Unfortunately, we won’t get a lot from the characters that we have come to love. But this book is really meant to be more of a focus on the impending arrival of baby Daniels.

I’m not sure how Ms. Salsbury was able to write sex between Blake and a very pregnant Layla hot, but that is what she did. I’m also not sure if I would have been disappointed if this book had no sex in it, since it really was taking a different direction than the others, I’m just glad I wasn’t faced with having to make that decision. It was very passionate, very sexual, and was written with pure love pouring from it.

This book is definitely a “coming of” sort of book. There is a lot of growth, a lot of questions answered, and closure. This is a really quick read, but again, it will make no sense to you if you haven’t read Blake and Layla’s first story. I’m not sure if JB Salsbury is going to continue this series. I believe she has stated that as long as the inspiration is there, she will write. I am one fan who hopes that she continues to get inspired and if my spidey sense is any good, I’m predicting a Killer/Axelle book in the future (insert teenage girl squeal here). This series is too sensational to have it end now. If you haven’t yet fallen in love with the boys of the UFL, then I suggest that you get on board, you will become a fan.
